Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 16:15
16:15 "Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame."
Jesus' second coming is like a thief. It means that no one knows the time. Therefore, we must always watch. It is related to the following things:
- The garments, so we are not naked.
- The nighttime, so we are not negligent or do not fall asleep.
Mark 13:35-36
13:35 "Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming--in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning--
13:36 "lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping.
There are four times for watching at nighttime as follows:
- In the evening (6 p.m. - 9 p.m.)
- At midnight (9 p.m. - 12 midnight ).
- At the crowing of the rooster (12 midnight - 3 a.m.)
- In the morning (3 a.m. - 6 a.m.)
Ad.4.
In the morning or the dawn.
It refers to the time of Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.
Luke 24:1
24:1 Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spiceswhich they had prepared.
Watching in the morning or the dawn means giving spices to the buried body of Jesus as the preparation for His revival, ascension, and second coming.
It also refers to the death experience or suffering in the flesh with Jesus.
There are two spiritual meanings of the spices as follows:
- The spices are expensive. It refers to the riches.
Watching for giving spices to the body of Christ is the same as watching so that we are not bound to the riches and will or love of money. The will of money becomes the last bond which causes one not to be lifted up when Jesus comes a second time, but being left behind for getting the doomsday and perdition. .
The facts found in being bound by money are as follows:
- Serving and ministering to God only to look for money.
- Stinginess or one is not willing until he cannot give to the work of God and other people who are in need.
Moreover, he is annoyed and angry as well as gossips when other people give to the edification of Christ's body.
- Greediness or stealing the possession of God, namely the tithes and offerings, as well as the possession of other people.
Isaiah 3:24
3:24 And so it shall be: Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench; Instead of a sash, a rope; Instead of well-set hair, baldness; Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty.
Consequently, the sweet-smelling incense becomes a stench like the entrails of Judas Iscariot. A rich robe becomes a girding of sackcloth. It means easily getting naked or committing sins up to the peak. Such person is stamped with triple six by the Antichrist.
Acts 20:28,32-33,35
20:28 "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
20:32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
20:33 "I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.
20:35 "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
The solution is being shepherded seriously or having the perseverance in committing the three main services to God and enjoying consuming the shepherding Word (hearing until obeying it). We get the work of the repeated Word that sanctifies us continually from the repeated desires up to the last bond, namely the will of money, so we can feel more joyful to give than to receive until we can give our whole life to God like the burnt incense that produces the sweet-smelling aroma before Him. We can serve and minister to God only to meet Him and look for the Word of grace, the repeated teaching Word, or shepherding Word. We can return the tithes and offering that belong to God as well as give to His work and others who are in need as the righteous acts with joy and willingness.
2 Corinthians 9:7-8
9:7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
9:8 And God is able to make all graceabound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
As a result, we get the grace of God for preserving our life in sufficiency up to abundance, namely we always give thanks to Him.
Revelation 19:8
19:8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
We get the garments of the bride to be ready for welcoming Jesus' second coming. We are not left behind.
The matter of giving does not rely on riches or poverty, but the sanctification of heart. If the heart is sanctified from the will of money, we can feel more blessed to give than to receive, and we are used by God in the matter of giving.
- The spices are for incense. It refers to the worship prayer.
Watching for giving the spices to the body of Christ is the same as keeping faithful and watchful in the worship prayer.
Mark 14:37-38
14:37 Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour?
14:38 "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
The worship prayer for one hour is the command, advice, and rebuke of the Lord to Peter, the great servant of God. Why must we watch in prayer for one hour?
- For overcoming the weakness of the flesh that always fulfilling the will or desires until resisting against the will of God, being disobedient, or going out of the railway of His will. Such life will fall in temptation and commit sin when facing temptation or dead-end up to perdition.
- So that we do not fall in the sins of Babylon.
Revelation 18:16
18:16 "and saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls!
It refers to the sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse as well as the ones of marrying-being given in marriage such as the fornication between man and woman who are not legal spouse, homosexuality, lesbianism, pornography, and so on.
We watch by praying for one hour so that we are not used in the edification of Babylon and destroyed with her in one hour.
We can live in righteousness and holiness up to the perfection and entering the New Jerusalem.
- The worship prayer is like the incense which is burnt to make sweet-smelling aroma before God. It means that the fleshly man is burnt to get the renewal of life to be the spiritual one like Jesus is. The old man is demolished to be the new one. Not being willing to be demolished by God, one will be demolished by the thief up to the perdition.
What must be burnt or demolished? It begins from the face as follows:
- The heart is renewed.
Luke 24:2
24:2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
The hard heart becomes meek and obedient until the flesh does not speak and we get the crown of the bride.
1 Corinthians 11:5
11:5 But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.
Isaiah 3:24
3:24 And so it shall be: Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench; Instead of a sash, a rope; Instead of well-set hair, baldness; Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty.
If the church is not obedient, the condition will be like a bald woman who becomes the playing ball of Satan. He never repents until being unable to repent like Satan.
- Five senses. One of them is mouth that must be changed to be honest.
Ephesians 4:24-25
4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
4:25 Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
If we can worship God by saying "Alleluia", we will produce the sweet-smelling aroma before God.
Being honest and obedient is the same as the house of prayer. We only cry out, surrender, and stretch out the hands of faith to God. As a result, He will stretch out the hand of glory like the cloud or His merciful hands which cannot be limited by anything. We are shepherded and counted by God. He pays attention to, care, and struggle for stretching out His merciful hands.
The results are as follows:
- The power of protection and preservation of God for our small and powerless life in the midst of the difficulties in the world.
John 21:5-6,11
21:5 Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?" They answered Him, "No."
21:6 And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
21:11 Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken.
- The power of healing from impossible diseases.
John 4:46-53
4:46 So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.
4:47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.
4:48 Then Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe."
4:49 The nobleman said to Him, "Sir, come down before my child dies!"
4:50 Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your son lives." So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.
4:51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, "Your son lives!"
4:52 Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, "Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him."
4:53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, "Your son lives." And he himself believed, and his whole household.
It refers to the power for deleting all impossibilities. The impossible can be made possible.
It also means the power of testimony. We can testify, so our whole family can be saved.
James 3:2
3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
It continues until we do not stumble in words, but we are changed to be as perfect as Jesus is.
God blesses you.
