ÂÂPeace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 6:5-66:5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."The opening of the third seal is the same as the third punishment of the world from the Holy Spirit. That is the revival of the black horse. It causes physical and spiritual famine over the world, especially of the word of God. The result is that every human, including the servants of God or the children of God who are not serious will fall and rise no more. It means failing in sin up to the peak. They did not want to repent until can not repent anymore, thus they will be destroyed forever. As long as the Word of God is still preached, let us be earnest in order to lift us to live in righteousness and purity.
The ways out in facing the famine are as follows:
- To own a denarius or the wage of working in the vineyard.
- Do not harm the oil and the wine.
ad. 2. Do not harm the oil and the wine.
We must have and maintain the anointment of the Holy Spirit.
The process to have and maintain the anointment of the Holy Spirit is as follows:
- To believe and have faith to Jesus as the only Savior.
Acts 2:36
2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
- To repent, stop sinning and return to God. It means to die from sins up the peak.
Acts 2:37-38
2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
- Water baptism.
The true water baptism is that one who has repented must be buried in water together with Jesus, and then being raised with Him to receive new life, that is living in righteousness.
- The Holy Spirit baptism.
Psalms 132:17132:17 There I will make the horn of David grow; I will prepare a lamp for My Anointed. Why must we have and maintain the anointment of the Holy Spirit?
- So that our lamps keep burning or we have the light to surpass the darkness of the world, that is physical and spiritual famine.
- To reach the city of light or the New Jerusalem.
There are three functions of a burning lamp as follows:
- To illuminate or give light in marriage.
Matthew 5:15
5:15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Ephesians 5:22-24
5:22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
5:23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
5:24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
A wife submits to the husband in everything, until being willing to sacrifice herself. Through a prayer of worship, she will be a helper protecting any weak parts of the husband and their child. Therefore, the blood of Jesus will cover any weakness. A submissive wife put husband as the head, and Jesus become the Head of their marriage to salvage them.
If a wife does not submit to husband, the garden of Eden will become a curse. The matter of marriage's being drowned or not depends on wife.
Ephesians 5:25-27
5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
5:26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
5:27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
A husband loves his wife as he loves himself and is not rude to her, until being willing to sacrifice his life. Therefore, the husband becomes the head of wife. It is the same as to place Jesus as the Head of the household to take care of and nurture the marriage physically and spiritually. So, the marriage is in righteousness, sanctity, up to the perfection.
Ephesians 6:1-3
6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
6:2 "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise:
6:3 "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth."
Colossians 3:20
3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
The children must be obedient and respect parents, until sacrificing their lives.
1 Timothy 5:5,13,15
5:5 Now she who is really a widow, and left alone, trusts in God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.
5:13 And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not.
5:15 For some have already turned aside after Satan.
A widow must put her hope to God and live in righteousness, so she will become a house of prayer before God and her prayer will be answered. But, if she is not holy, she will be dragged by Satan.
Matthew 5:15
5:15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
If the marriage is in the ight, it will prevail against two kinds of darkness as follows:
- The darkness under the basket. It refers to eating-drinking sin (smoking, getting drunk, drugs abuse), physical and spiritual famine.
- The darkness under bed. It refers to marrying-being given in marriage sin (sexuality sinl with its varieties, mingled marriage, divorce, and marrying-being given in marriage).
If the lamp shines in themarriage, there will be physical and spiritual preservation in it. There will be sanctity, warmth, happiness, and beauty in marriage until the unity to reach the marriage supper of the Lamb, meaning we are united with Jesus forever.
- To illuminate the Tabernacle, that is the Holy Place.
Exodus 27:20-21
27:20 "And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.
27:21 In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.
The practice is the perseverance in three main services in the shepherding pen.
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. We have the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts. We must be faithful and fervent in spirit in the ministry that God has entrusted to us. If the candlestick shines, we will see the other two equipment sooner or later.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have the fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ. We live in righteousness.
- The Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service. We have the fellowship with Father God in the love. We prioritize God more than anything until being willing to sacrifice the physical things for Him.
We must get through the narrow door to enter shepherding pen, meaning there must be sacrifices. But behind it, there is a life of abundance to the eternal one forever. Our body, soul, and spirit attach to God the Trinity in the shepherding, so we can not be separated, meaning we are united with Lord and with others.
Ecclesiastes 4:12
4:12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Threefold cord refers to the Word of God that we receive in three main services. It binds wife and husband in unity. There is unity in marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the perfect body of Christ.
The results of being in the Holy Place are as follow:
- There is a covering of preservation and miraculous protection from God in the midst of difficulties in the world. Starting from now to the time of antichrist ruling, until God's punishment over the world and hell cannot touch our lives.
- The sand is visible and trampled.
1 John 2:15-17
2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
2:16 For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world.
2:17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
The sand refers to the world with its influences as follows:
- The lust of the eyes that leads to eating-drinking sin.
- The lust of the flesh that leads to marrying-being given in marriage sin.
- The pride of life means to rely on something in this world more than God.
Those three things will affect the servant or son of God. They become unfaithful and disobedient as Eve was dragged from the garden of Eden into cursed world.
In the shepherding, we can win over the world and its influences. We become faithful and obedient to God until the flesh does not sound anymore. For example, Abraham was obedient to sacrifice his child and the Zarephath widow was obedient to serve God first. Being faithful and obedient until the flesh does not sound anymore is the source of success and beauty in our lives up to the eternal one forever.
- To welcome the second coming of Jesus in the glorious clouds.
Matthew 25:1-4,10
25:1 "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
25:2 Now five of them were wise, and five werefoolish.
25:3 Those who werefoolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,
25:4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
The requirement is that we must have oil supply. It is the same as Holy Spirit in abundance.
John 10:16
10:16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
Everything must be sacrificed in building the perfect body of Christ, except the true teaching Word.
The purposes of abundant oil supply are as follow:
- The Holy Spirit pours out the love of God to us, so that we are strong and of good courage.
Romans 5:5
5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
It means not being disappointed or not losing heart, and not leaving God whatever we face. But, we are faithful and fervent in spirit to do the service and ministry which God has entrusted to us up to the end line.
It means to firmly hold fast to the true teaching Word and to practice it, so that we can live in righteousness up to the perfection.
It means constantly being fervent in welcoming the second coming of Jesus.
- It encourages us to testify.
John 4:39
4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, "He told me all that I ever did."
We are renewed from fleshly men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
- To clear up any problems that hinder us from serving and ministering to God.
2 Kings 4:1-7
4:1 A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, "Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.
4:2 So Elisha said to her, "What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?" And she said, "Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil."
4:3 Then he said, "Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors--empty vessels; do not gather just a few.
4:4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones."
4:5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out.
4:6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, "Bring me another vessel." And he said to her, " There is not another vessel." So the oil ceased.
4:7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest."
God blesses us.
