Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 9:7-12is about the locusts and scorpions.
The locusts refer to the wicked and unclean spirits which come up from the bottomless pit.
There are two things about the locust as follows:
- The shape of the locust is like horses which are prepared for battle.
Revelation 9:7
9:7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.
- The tail of the locust is like the tail of scorpion which has sting.
Revelation 9:10
9:10 They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months.
The tail of the locust is the same as the sting of the scorpion.
1Corinthians 15:55-56
15:55 "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"
15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
The sting of scorpion refers to the sting of death or sin.
So, the locust refers to the wicked and unclean spirits as the trigger of sins which make men including the servant and minister of God do the sins up to the peak. So, they experience the torment of the scorpions for five months until the perdition in hell forever.
The conditions of the locust or sins are as follows:
- There are crowns of something like gold on the heads.
Revelation 9:7
9:7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.
It means that the sins enthrone or rule the mind of man, servant, and minister of God.
- The face is like the face of men.
The face is the imagination of heart.
It means that the sin rules the heart of man and the servant and minister of God.
If the sin has ruled the mind and heart, it will rule the deeds, words, and whole life of man and the servant and minister of God.
1 Corinthians 5:11
5:11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner--not even to eat with such a person.
There are six sins which bind the body, soul, and spirit or the whole life of man as follows:
- The sins which bind the body are as follows:
- The sexually immoral, namely the adultery between man and woman who are not marriage partner, homosexuality, lesbianism, mixed-marriage, divorced-remarrying, and marrying-being given in marriage.
- The drunkard including smoking and drugs abuse.
- The sins which bind the soul are as follows:
- The covetous.
- The reviler.
- The extortioner.
- The sin which binds the spirit is as follows:
- The Idolater.
The idol refers to all things which make us unable to prioritize God or the service and ministry.
- The hair is like the women's hair.
Revelation 9:8
9:8 They had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth.
There is so much hair. It means that there are many kinds of sins which increase to the peak.
The hair is long. It means that the sins are not easy to be finished even it cannot be finished.
- The teeth are like lions' teeth.
It is to tear, break, and scatter the body of Christ which begins from the marriage, shepherding, and inter-shepherding pen.
The sins make one separated and not have relationship with other people and God.
- The breastplates are like breastplates of iron.
Revelation 9:9
9:9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle.
It means that the sins are foolish and shameless.
- The sound of the wings is like the sound of the chariots with many horses running into battle.
It means that the sins have power and speed to battle man and the servant and minister of God and make them fall in sins up to the peak.
Revelation 9:109:10 They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails.Their power was to hurt men five months.
Every sin has tail or end. The tail of the locust has the sting of death to hurt men five months. All of sins will end in the condemnation of God until the perdition forever.
Ephesians 6:11-136:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Therefore, we must put on the whole armor of God to fight against the locust, the wicked and unclean spirits, or sins. We must remember that our enemy is not men, namely the husband, wife, brother, sister, or other people, but Satan with the wicked and unclean spirits.
The facts found in using the armor of God to fight against the locust are as follows:
- The armor of light, namely The Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 13:12-14
13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
13:13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
We get the armor of light through the perseverance in doing the three main services to God as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick refers to the General Service to get the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the anointing and gifts of Holy Spirit. If we persevere, the gifts of Holy Spirt will be multiplied until it becomes a garland of twelve stars.
- The Table of Showbread refers to the Bible Study Service and Holy Communion to get the fellowship with the Son of God in the true teaching word and sacrifice of Christ.
If we persevere, we will experience the sanctification and redemption repetitively until someday there is no sin anymore. It is the same as the moon under the feet of the bride.
- The Golden Altar of Incense refers to the Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in His love. If we persevere, the love will be multiplied until it becomes the perfect one. It is the same as being clothed with the sun.
So, through the perseverance in doing the three main services to God, we use the armor of light, namely the light of the sun, moon, and star. We put on the Lord Jesus Christ to defeat the darkness of sins up to the peak. So, we do not do the sins but live in righteousness and holiness until we are as perfect as Him.
Revelation 12:1
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
We become the light of the world like Jesus, the heavenly bride, and the perfect body of Christ.
- Praying in Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 6:18
6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
Revelation 12:2-3
12:2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads..
How great the church and the servant and minister of God are, they are like the pregnant woman who is in pain to give birth or being in the most powerless condition while facing the great fiery red dragon. It refers to Satan as the source of impossible problems, sins up to the peak, tears, sadness, suffering, destruction, and everlasting perdition.
What must we do? We must pray in Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit helps us, so we can groan to God. We only surrender fully to the merciful hand of God. We prioritize Him more than anything, so He watches and cares to stretch out His merciful hands for us in due time.
The examples and results are as follows:
- The dragon or Satan who made Peter, father, or pastor doubtful to Jesus or the true teaching word.
Matthew 14:29-31
14:29 So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
14:30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"
14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
In consequence, Peter was almost drowned. It means that there physical decrease, fall in sins up to the peak, and impossible problem.
But, he still had an opportunity to cry out to God. So, God stretched out His hand to heal him and lift him up from the drowning.
- The dragon or Satan who made the woman's heart wicked, hard, and unclean, so her words were like the dogs licking the vomit.
Matthew 15:25-28
15:25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!"
15:26 But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs."
15:27 And she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."
15:28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
Consequently, her daughter was demon-possessed. It means as follows:
- The impossible sickness.
- The destruction of the marriage and children.
- Being weary, heavy-laden, and in difficulties and tears.
But, God still gave an opportunity to her, so she could confess her sins. God stretched out His hand and her daughter was healed. It means that the marriage and children are healed, so there is peace.
- The dragon or Satan makes the heart of the youth hard, wicked, and unclean, so they do the sins up to the peak, namely the words which hurt the parents and God.
Luke 23:40-43
23:40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
23:41 "And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong."
23:42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
23:43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
In consequence, there are total failure physically and spiritually, the atmosphere of curse, and perdition.
But, God still gives an opportunity to cry out to Him. So, He changes the curse into the paradise, namely there are preservation, future, and eternal life with God.
God blesses you.
