Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:16-20 is about the commandment to preach the gospel or to spread the light or shekinah glory. It means that we are employed by God in the great revival according to the great commandment of God as follows.

  1. [verse 18-19] Revival of Holy Spirit at the early rain.
    Matthew 28:19
28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

It is the revival in gospel Word or the gospel of salvation to bring the sinners to be saved through being baptized.

    Romans 11:25-26
11:25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
    11:
26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;

Actually the main target of the revival of Holy Spirit at the early rain is to save the Israelites, the chosen nation of God. But because blindness in part is happened to Israel, there is chance and mercy for the Gentiles to be saved. Thus, all Israelites and Gentiles will be saved by God.

  2. Revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
    Matthew 28:20
28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, evento the end of the age.” Amen.

It is the revival in the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ or the teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword, or Bride Tidings. It aims to bring saved life to enter the building of the perfect body of Christ, to be sanctified and perfected to become the bride of God who is ready to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.

The process to achieve perfection is as follows.

  1. Sanctification of heart and mind that is the store of sins.
    Hebrews 4:12-13
4:12 For the word of God isliving and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
    4:
13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things arenaked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must giveaccount.

    Matthew 15:19
    15:19 For out of the heart proceed (1)evil thoughts, (2)murders, (3)adulteries, (4)fornications, (5)thefts, (6)false witness, (7)blasphemies.

The sword of the Word of God sanctifies our heart and mind from seven evil and unclean desires hidden within our heart.

  2. Sanctification from Leviathan/ Babylon that rules over the nations (the sea).
    Isaiah 27:1
27:1 In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong,
Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent;
And He will slay the reptile that isin the sea.

    Revelation 17:1,15
17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,
17:15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.

The sword of the Word sanctifies us from sins up to the peak of sins, that is sins concerning eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, consuming drugs) and marrying-being given in marriage (sexuality sin with all its varieties, false marriage).

  3. Sanctification of mouth.
    Psalm 149:1,6
149:1 Praise the Lord!Sing to the Lord a new song,
AndHis praise in the assembly of saints.
149:6 Letthe high praises of God bein their mouth,
And a two-edged sword in their hand,

The sword of the Word sanctifies our mouth from sinful words, that is lies, et cetera, so we can say right words and let ‘yes’ be ‘yes’ and ‘no’ be ‘no’. We can also say good words so that the weak can be strengthened again. The mouth that is sanctified by the sword of the Word will be able to say “Alleluia”, until it has no more faults in words.

    James 3:2
3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he isa perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

The results are as follows.

  1. We are appeared as the light of the world.
    Revelation 12:1
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.

  2. We are given two wings of a great eagle.
    Revelation 12:13-14
12:13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.
    12:
14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

One who is sanctified by the sword of the Word is being chased by antichrist. But we are given two wings of a great eagle to fly us to the wilderness far from the presence of the serpent. The more we are sanctified, the bigger our wings are. There we will be cared directly by the mercy of God.

  3. We are lifted up to the glorious clouds to meet Jesus the Heavenly Bridegroom, to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
    Revelation 19:6-7,9
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
    19:
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
19:9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed arethose who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”

Afterwards, we will enter the future paradise [Revelation 20], and then the eternal kingdom of Heaven [Revelation 21-22].

2 Corinthians 4:3-4
4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

But many servants of God reject the teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. It happens because they harden their heart and preserve the sins up to the peak of sins.
The consequence is being the same as the Babylon who will be perished or being the bride of Satan, meaning perfection in evil and uncleanness.

Revelation 17:1-5
17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,
17:
2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”
17:
3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which wasfull of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:
4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
17:
5 And on her forehead a name waswritten: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS
OF THE EARTH.

The characteristics of Babylon are as follows.

  1. Being unfaithful to one man, that is Jesus. It means being unfaithful to one true teaching Word and the ministry.
  2. Being marked with falsity. There is only carnal prosperity and entertainment shown, but there is no sanctification.
The ministry is supported by the power of money (mammon). Everything is measured with money. If there is physical wage, one will lose the wage of eternal life.
    Proverbs 23:4-5
    23:4 Do not overwork to be rich;
Because of your own understanding, cease!
23:5 Will you set your eyes on that which is not?
For richescertainly make themselves wings;
They fly away like an eagle towardheaven.

It is also marked with false mouth, that is lies, slander, up to blaspheming God and the true teaching Word.

  3. Keeping on hiding the sins up to the peak of sins.

Revelation 17:15
17:15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.

The target of Babylon is the Gentiles that are as the waters. It means that the Gentiles do not want to be shepherded but they wend one’s way. The consequence is being sat by Babylon.

John 2:6
2:6 Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.

The way out is the waters must be put into the waterpots during the marriage supper. It means that we must be shepherded to Bride Tidings or the true teaching Word. Thus, we will see and experience miracles.
The practice of being shepherded is always being inside the shepherding pen. In Tabernacle, it refers to the Holy Place, where there are three kinds of equipment as follows.

  • Golden Candlestick, that is perseverance in General Service.
  • Table of Showbread, that is perseverance in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
  • Golden Altar of Incense, that is perseverance in Prayer Service.

John 2:7
2:7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.

Within the shepherding, we are filled up with the true teaching Word. It means we can hear, up to understand the Word, believe and have faith in the Word, up to practice the Word.

John 2:8
2:8 And He said to them, “Draw someout now, and take itto the master of the feast.” And they took it.

Practicing the Word equals to stretching out both our hands to God. Thus, He will stretch out His merciful hands to us, and miracles will happen. Maybe it seems difficult when we obey the Word, but miracles will happen. On the other hand, maybe it seems easy when we disobey the Word, but actually we are adding the problems which will never be solved.

John 2:9
2:9 When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.

The spiritual miracle is the renewal of our inward and outward man so that there are sweet words.

Song of Solomon 7:9
7:9 And the roof of your mouth like the best wine. The winegoes downsmoothly for my beloved,
Moving gently the lips of sleepers.

Sweet words mean as follows.

  • Honestly confessing sins. It is the shortest way to be helped by God.
  • Bearing witness.
  • Worshiping God, believing and fully surrendering our life to God.

Sweet words will become a blessing to the others who has been tasteless. The sweet words will flow to Jesus who sleeps.

Matthew 8:23-25
8:23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.
8:
24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.
8:
25 Then His disciples came to Himand awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

On the boat there are only Jesus and the disciples. They denote men who usually harden the heart and rely on their own power more than the power of the Word. But if there are sweet words, Jesus will wake up and calm the wind and waves. All problems will be solved by God.

Matthew 15:25-28
15:25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
15:
26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw itto the little dogs.”
15:
27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
15:
28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great isyour faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Women like to blame the others up to blame God. He waits for sweet words until we can confess “Lord, help me!”, meaning we can blame ourselves and confess that God is right. The result is He will help us and make our marriage happy.

Revelation 22:20-21
22:20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
22:
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ bewith you all. Amen.

A youth usually feels strong and preserves sins, does not want to be advised by the Word or the parents. This kind of life will not be ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming. But if we want to be sanctified and leave the sins, all failures will be helped and we will be successful. Our life will be lifted up by God, until we are lifted up on the glorious clouds in His second coming.

God blesses us.
