Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14 refers to the seven sprinklings of blood in front of the Ark of the Covenant for the last sanctification up to the perfection.
Revelation 14 can be divided into the following three parts:
- Verse 1-5 = the church's following Jesus as the Lamb of God (it has been explained from General Service in Malang, August 15, 2021 to Prayer Service in Malang, October 14, 2021).
- Verse 6-13 = the announcement about the judgment (it has been explained in General Service in Malang, October 17, 2021 to General Service in Malang, December 05, 2021).
- Verse 14-20 = the harvest on earth (it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, December 07, 2021).
ad. 3.
There are two kinds of reaping on earth as follows:
- Reaping the wheat(it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, December 07, 2021).
Revelation 14:14-16
14:14.Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe."
14:16 So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
It refers to the fruit of the sprinkling of blood or the last sanctification for being brought to the barn of the heavenly kingdom.
- Reaping the vine on earth.
Revelation 14:17-20
14:17.Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe."
14:19 So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
14:20 And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses'bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs.
It refers to the fruit of the life that rejects the sprinkling of blood, so it must be thrown into the great winepress of the wrath of God until there is blood coming out of the winepress, up to the horses'bridles.

Revelation 14:14-1614:14.Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
In the harvest on earth, there are
two kinds of winnowingfor being able to enter the barn (it is explained in Prayer Service in Malang, December 16, 2021) as follows:
- The sifting from Satan through the temptation on earth with the power of death.
Luke 22:31-32
22:31.And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.
22:32 "But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren."
The purpose of Satan is making the sons of God or the faith of the church fall until they drown in the world and perish forever in the hell.
James 1:13-15
1:13.Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
1:14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desiresand enticed.
1:15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
Why can they fall in temptations? They can fall in temptation because of following the fleshly lusts which are not in line with the will of God.
The fleshly lusts have the power to entice more than the Word and to draw away until one goes out of the will of God.
Going outside of the will of God means not being in His hand anymore, but in Satan's, so one starts getting the temptation. Making the way out which is not in line with the Word after the problems come is the same as committing sin. This is said as falling into temptation and drowning in the world up to the hell forever.
- The winnowing by Jesus through the test or suffering in the flesh without any sin or because of Him.
Matthew 3:12
3:12 "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."
1 Peter 2:19
2:19. For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.
God lets us get the test so that we get His grace as follows:
- We confess the miracle of God, so we can dwell in His will.
1 Corinthians 10:13
10:13.No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
As a result, God will give the extra power so that we can bear the temptation as well as the way out of all impossible problems.
- We are sanctified and purified until being flawless or perfect as Jesus is. We become the ripe wheat that is ready for welcoming Jesus'second coming as the King and Heavenly Bridegroom.
Experiencing the temptation because of committing sin, we only need to confess the sin to God and others as well as not to repeat the sin, so the temptation can become the test without any sin or the sprinkling of blood.
There is glory behind the sprinkling of blood.
Before Jesus winnows the church, He has already faced the winnowing for three times as long as His life in the world for proving that He is the ripe wheat.
- In the time of His birth. He has faced the test up to the murder.
- Matthew 1:19
1:19. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.
Joseph was a good man.
If Joseph had divorced Mary, she would have been stoned until death.
- Matthew 2:16
2:16. Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.
- In His adult life and He began His ministry.
Matthew 4:1
4:1. Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
Jesus faced the devil that wanted to tempt Him for making His faith fall so that He went out of God's will.
It means that Satan threatens the death spiritually.
Matthew 12:14-15
12:14. Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him.
12:15 But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.
In the ministry, Jesus faced the Pharisees who wanted to kill Him.
- When Jesus was obedient until His death on the cross.
It refers to the end of His ministry on earth. Jesus was dead, but He was raised and ascended to heaven for becoming the King of all kings and the Heavenly Bridegroom.
There must be the death experience first in our following Jesus.
Jesus will come a second time on the glorious clouds for lifting up the people who have experienced the winnowing until entering the barn of the New Jerusalem.
The church must also face the three times of test as follows:
- Job.
Job 1:1
1:1. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.
Job 23:10-12
23:10. But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
23:11 My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside. 23:12 I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food.
He was blameless and upright, but he had to experience the winnowing.
'the commandment of His lips'= the true teaching Word.
The first test is about the faith or righteousness.
The form of the test may be various, but we must have the same attitude for reaching the same result, namely coming forth as gold.
The attitudes of the church when facing the test are as follows:
- Verse 12 = the suffering in the flesh for keeping the true teaching Word in the heart through hearing the Word seriously until understanding and believing the Word. The true teaching Word has been kept in heart and it becomes faith.
The proof is that we are never doubtful, disappointed, and hopeless in facing all things, but we keep quiet, righteous, and peaceful, so all things become easy and light.
Job got the total test, but his faith did not vanish away. His faith became purer. This is the important thing.
- Verse 11 = the suffering in the flesh for keeping on following Jesus'steps, namely in righteousness. Our life journey must be in line with the faith and righteousness. Do not be on the way of sins in all aspects of life.
As a result, our faith increases like the pure gold. This is the same as the perfect faith or the golden pot that has the manna or the ripe wheat and we are ready for welcoming Jesus'second coming.
1 Peter 1:6-7
1:6. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
1:7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
- King David.
Psalm 139:23-24
139:23. Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
139:24. And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
This is the test of hope or holiness.
Verse 23 = the time when we are facing the test is also the time to examine our life, not others. We do the introspection in our life through the sharpness of the Word. It is not the time for blaming at others and God.
What must be corrected?
- It begins from the center of life, namely the heart and mind.
Mark 7:21-23
7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries(1), fornications(2), murders(3),
7:22 thefts(4), covetousness(5), wickedness(6), deceit(7), lewdness(8), an evil eye(9), blasphemy(10), pride(11), foolishness(12).
7:23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man."
'blasphemy'= blaspheming God or the true etaching Word.
'foolishness'= one cannot be rebuked, advised, and chastened. God lets such life for receiving the judgment and everlasting perdition.
The twelve sins must be pierced with the sword of the Word.
If we willingly do the introspection in our life that starts from the heart and mind, our heart and mind will be sanctified from the twelve lusts of evil, uncleanness, and bitterness. Our heart is filled with the twelve loaves which are set in two rows, six in a row or the sixty six books in the Bible. It means the true teaching Word which is ingrained in our life.
If the heart and mind of a pastor are holy, he will receive the revelation of the Word. If the heart and mind of the congregation are sanctified, they will consume the bread.
Thus, the pastor and congregation are preserved. Our life comes from the true teaching Word like the Israelites who formerly lived by manna from heaven.
We are not only preserved, but the true teaching Word also sanctifies us from the false teachings.
If a fellowship is not based on the true teaching Word, there will be the conspiracy for killing Jesus.
On the contrary, the fellowship which is based on the true teaching Word will build the body of Christ.
- The footor the dirty life journey that must be sanctified.
Psalm 139:24
139:24. And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
John 13:10-11
13:10. Jesus said to him, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."
13:11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, "You are not all clean."
Judas Iscariot had the dirtiest feet. Actually, a servant of God has the beautiful paths. Nevertheless, they can be dirty when one rejects the Word.
Judas became a thief, liar, traitor, accuser, as well as hypocrite or one who pretends.
Being willingly sanctified, our journey will be the most beautiful, namely bringing the Good News and the Bride Tidings.
- The eyesare sanctified from the sins and the sight to man or the matter of judging and hoping man.
Psalm 26:2-3
26:2. Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart.
26:3 For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.
Being sanctified, our sight will be towards God only. We only hope to His lovingkindness.
If our heart, mind, life journey, and sight are sanctified, we will be as holy as Jesus is. This is the perfect hope for welcoming Jesus'second coming.
1 John 3:2-3
3:2. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
3:3 And everyone who has this hopein Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
We enter the paradise and the barn of the heavenly kingdom.
- The test of love. The representative is the seven churches of the Gentiles.
James 1:12
1:12. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
They have the poor life, but they are sanctified by the sprinkling of blood like the church in Smyrna.
Revelation 2:10
2:10. "Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
They face the test of love, namely suffering because of Jesus until being put in the prison for ten days.
The number ten refers to the Ten Commandments.
Our attitudes must be as follows:
- Keeping faithful until the end line, namely we pass away or Jesus comes a second time.
- 'Blessed is the man who endures temptation'= we rejoice and give thanks to God until the end line. We do not grumble.
This is the proof that we love God more than anything and we also love others like we love ourselves; even we can love the others who make hostility towards us. We only do the good deeds. We do not repay evil for evil, but we repay good for evil.
It means that we have the two tablets of stone or the perfect love. We will reach the peak of joy, namely the marriage supper of the Lamb on the glorious clouds. We enter the Paradise and the barn of the New Jerusalem forever.
We have not been perfect yet, but must have the tested faith, hope, and love.
Through the test, we have the perfect faith, hope, and love. This is the same as Jesus'taking Peter (hope), James (faith), and John (love) for worshiping God.
Matthew 17:1-217:1. Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
17:2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shonelike the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
We get the spiritual increase for going up to the mountain of worship. We like worshiping God.
Worshiping God is the same as our eyes'looking at Him, our mouth's speaking to Him, and our hands'being lifted up to Him.
The results are as follows:
- The power of renewal. It starts from the face.
The bad face becomes the glorious one like Jesus is. When we worship God, all bad things are born by Him on the cross and He gives the glorious ones to us little by little.
There are five senses on the face.
The ears are changed until we can hear and obey the true teaching Word. We can be obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.
The mouth is changed to be honest.
Matthew 17:6-7
17:6. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid.
17:7 But Jesus came and touched them and said, "Arise, and do not be afraid."
The fleshly fear or the fear of something in the world until one resists against God is changed into the fear of the Lord. This is the sanctification of the feelings.
Matthew 17:14
17:14. And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,
After facing the test of faith, hope, and love, let us worship God much more. This is the key for facing the sprinkling of blood. Formerly, Aaron the high priest once a year entered the Most Holy Place by bringing the blood and incense, so there was glory.
- The physical miracles happen.
The epilepsy refers to the following things:
- Sins up to the peak.
We are sanctified, so we can live in holiness.
- The destruction in marriage and children.
- The bodily sickness.
Let us worship God much more and He is able to help us.
The impossible problems will be finished by God.
- When Jesus comes a second time, we will be changed to be as perfect as He is for being worthy to welcome His coming on the glorious clouds.
1 Corinthians 13:12-13
13:12. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13:13 And now abidefaith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
We have the the body of glory like Jesus. We see Him face to face. We enter the Paradise and New Jerusalem forever. The ripe wheat is harvested for entering the barn of the heavenly kingdom.
Let us worship God much more when we are facing the tests.
God blesses you.
