Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are still discussing
Revelation 2-3.
According to Tabernacle Teaching, it refers to
the seven sprinklings of blood before the Ark of the Covenant.
It means
the seven epistlesfor the seven churches of the Gentiles or
the last sanctificationdone by Jesus for
the seven churches of the Gentilesor the congregation in the last days to make them perfect or without blemish like Jesus. They become the perfect Bride of heaven who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds to meet Him, the Heavenly Bridegroom, forever.
There are
seven churches of the Gentilesthat experience the sprinkling of blood as follows.
- The church in EPHESUS(Revelation 2: 1-7) (it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, July 27, 2014up to General Service in Surabaya, September 7, 2014). The church in Ephesus must return to the first loveto return to Paradise.
- The church in SMYRNA(Revelation 2: 8-11) (it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, September 14, 2014).
THE CHURCH IN SMYRNA
Revelation 2: 92:9 "I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemyof those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. The physical conditions of the church in Smyrna are as follows.
- In tribulation.
- In poverty.
- Being slandered by the synagogue of Satan. The Jews refer to Christians. But, they slandered. So, they became the same as the synagogue of Satan.
Nevertheless, the church in Smyrna was
rich in spirituality.
What is the meaning of being rich spiritually?
- BEING RICH IN KINDNESSlike the church of Macedonia that likes giving => 2 Corinthians 8: 2-5(if has been explained in Prayer Service in Surabaya, October 1, 2014).
- BEING RICH IN FAITH (it has been explained since General Service in Surabaya, October 5, 2014)
James 2: 5
2: 5 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faithand heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
We are still discussing the second one.
Why must we be rich in the faith?Luke 18: 8
18: 8 "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
Because
only the sons or servants of God who are rich in the faith can welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds and inherit or enter the eternal heavenly kingdom.
Heavenly kingdom cannot be reached through riches, intelligence, and other physical things, but the faith.
Being rich in the faith means the increasing faith, without any decrease. It is developing up to the perfection.
The faith must increase because the sins also increase. The development of the faith accorcing to the Tabernacle is as follows.
- The right faith= The Court of Tabernacle. It is the base.
The facts found in the right faith are as follows.
- The Gate= faith or receiving Jesus.
Romans 10: 17
10: 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The right faithcomes from hearingthe Word of Christ in the anointing of Holy Spirit. Christ means one who is anointed.
The width of the gate is fifty cubits. The figure fifty refers to Pentecost or Holy Spirit.
It meansthat we must have the help of Holy Spirit in order to believe or have faith and receive Jesus. Our brain cannot do that.
The process is as follows.
- Holy Spirit helps us to hear the Word seriouslylike a dog licking the crumbs and understandit. The Word is written on our forehead.
- Holy Spirit helps us to believein the Word to become faith in our heart. The Word is written in our heart.
Hearing and understanding the Word without believing in it, it will only become knowledge.
Hebrews 8: 10-12
8: 10 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mindand write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
8:11 "None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.
8:12 "For I will be mercifulto their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."
'put My laws in their mind'= understanding the Word.
'write them on their hearts'= faith or believing in the Word.
If our heart believesin the Word or we know Jesus assuredly, our mouth will confess our sinto God and other people, so we can have the remission of sinby the blood of Jesus. We are justified and savedby God ('their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more').
Sinful or unclean person can get the help as long as he still wants to hear the Word.
Romans 10: 10
10: 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- The Altar of Burnt Offering= the cross of Jesus = believing and repenting.
Formerly, the animals were slaughtered and offered for the remission of sin. Now, all of the animal offerings have been fulfilled by the sacrifice of Jesus. Jesus has been slaughtered as the Lamb of God on the cross.
Repenting means stopping sinning to return to Godand live according to His will in the righteousness. There must be no more false things.
Thus, the right faithis believing in Jesus, confessing the sins, and repentingso that we can LIVE IN RIGHTEOUSNESor according to God's will.
As a result, we are surrounded as with a shield of God's blessing and mercy.
Psalm 5: 12
5: 12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
We enter the Gate of Tabernacle and are separated from the world.
Living in righteousness means that we have the atmosphere of paradise.
- The holy or firm faith= Holy Place.
There are three kinds of equipment in the Holy Place as follows.
There are twelve loaveson the Table of Showbread that are set in two rows, six in a row. They refer to the sixty six books in the Bibleor the true teaching Wordthat consists of the Old and the New Testament or the books of the prophets and the apostles.
The loaves also refer to the body of Christ. Where is the blood? It refers to the pouring. Therefore, the Table of Showbread refers to the Holy Communion.
Exodus 25: 29 (about the Table of Showbread)
25: 29 "You shall make its dishes, its pans, its pitchers, and its bowls for pouring. You shall make them of pure gold.
The Table of Showbread is the only equipment that has the pouring of wine.
'for pouring' =wine= the blood of Jesus.
The bread and wine mean the body and blood of Jesus.
Thus, the Table of Showbread refers to the perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communionto get the holy or firm faith so that we can keep on living in righteousness in facing many shakings.
In Bible Study Service, the Word is preached repetitively and deeply more and more.
2 Chronicles 36: 15-16
36: 15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.
36:16 But they mockedthe messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.
'rising up early' = the Word of God is preached repetitively to be deeper and increased. It is the love of Godthat always gives us opportunity.
Rejecting or mockingit, there will be no restoration and one will not get the help, but perdition and destruction forever.
Malachi 3: 1-3
3: 1 "Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," Says the LORD of hosts.
3:2 "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire And like launderer's soap.
3:3 He will sitas a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness.
'launderer's soap'= the Word is preached repetitively to cleanse us.
It is especially for the priests of Levites. Their clothes have to be cleansed so that their service and ministry can be right.
Jesus, the High Priest and Great Shepherd, will be in the midst of uswhere there is the revelation of the Word which is preached repetitively and deeply. He is sittingin the midst of the congregation.
'sit'= using the time, not in haste.
The repetitive Word can be described as two things as follows.
- Launderer's soapthat cleanses the spots of the ministry garment (= outer sanctification).
- Refiner's firethat sanctifies the corrotion of sin(inner sanctification).
We must be sanctified in our inner and outer lifeto get the holy or firm faith.
James 5: 1-6
5: 1Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you!
5:2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.
5:3 Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasurein the last days.
5:4 Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.
5:5 You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter.
5:6 You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.
'your garments are moth-eaten' = the garment will be eaten by the moth until it is torn if the spot is not cleansed.
'You have heaped up treasure'= not being rich in Heaven nor in kindness, not heaping up the treasure in heaven like the church in Macedonia, but being rich physically only.
'in pleasure and luxury' = eating and drinking up to marrying-being given in marriage.
The spots and corrotions that must be sanctified are as follows.
- The spotsof laziness, evil, and uncleanness.
- The spots of evilsuch as envy, dissension, murmur, and agitation that will divide the body of Christ.
Dissension about sinmust be finished. One must return to the Bible if there is dissension about the doctrine.
Murmur is the sign of dissatisfactionand there will be agitation after that.
- The spot of uncleanness, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage ('in pleasure and luxury').
One will repeat the sins up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage if he rejects the repetitive Word of God.
- The corrotion of sin(the sin in the evil and unclean heart) as follows.
- Stinginessor one cannot give for the work of God and other people who need.
- Greediness, namely one robs the possession of others, especially God's that is tithes and offerings.
The refiner's fire is the repetitive Word of God to remove the corrotion of sin.
- Self-truth, whose meanings are as follows.
James 5: 6
5: 6 You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.
- Judging the righteousthrough slandering. The right is said false and vice versa. Consequently, one becomes the synagogue of Satan.
'he does not resist you'= we are taught to be in silencewhen we are slandered.
- Covering the sinby blaming others and God or the true teaching Word.
Being sanctifiedfrom the spots and corrotion of sin, our service and ministry may please God(Malachi 3: 3: 'offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness').
Our inner and outer garments are sanctified continually until someday we get the garments of Bride, namely the clean and bright fine linenand we can endure and stand or be faithful and fervent in spiritin ministering to God until Jesus comes a second time. (Malachi 3: 2: 'But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears?').
The clean and bright fine linen means purity from inside the heart and there is no pretense. It is different from the garments of Babylon that is white only, but not clean and bright. It means a pretense or the outer holiness.
Revelation 19: 8
19: 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
If there is no white garment or one is naked, he will not endure in ministry, even he will leave it.
Why must we have the Table of Showbreador Bible Study Service with the repetitive and increased Word of God?
- Because it gives the firmness of faith.
Philippians 3: 1b-3
3: 1b For me to write the same thingsto you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.
3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation!
3:3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh,
'to write the same things' = the repetitive Word preached orally or in writing.
Nowadays, the preaching of the Word can happen through cassette, vcd/dvd, and internet. The power of God cannot be limited by anything.
The repetitive Word of God will give us the firm faith. The results are as follows.
- We do not fall in sin but keep on living in holiness. We have the holy faith.
- We are not tossed to and fro by the false teachings and physical things. We have spiritual maturity.
Ephesians 4: 14
4: 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
The false teachings offer the physical things that are comfortable for the flesh.
We can have the spiritual maturity up to the fullness of Christ or perfection.
Ephesians 4: 13
4: 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
The repetitive Word is pure.
- Because it sanctifies us from the spots and corrotions of sinuntil we can have the garments of the Heavenly Bride, namely the clean and bright fine linen.
- The perfect faith = the Most Holy Place.
There is golden pot that had the manna in TheArk of the Covenantin the Most Holy Place. It refers to the perfect or permanent faith that cannot be moved anymore.
Hebrews 9: 4
9: 4 which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
How great a human with all things in the world is, he is only like the clay potthat is fragile and perishes.
It must be filled with mannato be the golden pot.
What is manna?
Psalm 78: 23-25
78: 23 Yet He had commanded the clouds above, And opened the doors of heaven,
78:24 Had rained down mannaon them to eat, And given them of the bread of heaven.
78:25 Men ate angels' food; He sent them food to the full.
Manna = the bread of angel or heavenly bread.
Bread = the Word.
Angel = shepherd.
Thus, manna is Shepherding Word coming down from Heaven.
We must be shepherded well and correctlyso that the clay pot can be the golden one. There is no other way.
The shepherd must shepherd and the congregation must be shepherded well and correctly. It relies on the good conscience.
Judas Iscariot could not be shepherdedwell and correctly although he was an apostle and the shepherd was Jesus Himself because his heart is evil with the love of money.
How can the manna be poured from heaven?
- The pastormust struggleat the foot of Jesus through reading the Word, praying with fasting, all night long prayer, and so on, and through joining the right fellowship with other pastors who are used by God in the one true teaching Word.
If the fellowship is wrong, the teachings is also wrong and there will be no opened door of heaven.
The congregationmust also struggle and prayto show the desire to get the Shepherding Word as the spiritual food.
- The pastor and congregation must return the tithes and offeringsor God's possession so that the door of heaven is always open and there is food in the house of God.
Exodus 16: 32-34, 36
16: 32 Then Moses said, "This is the thing which the LORD has commanded: 'Fill an omerwith it, to be kept for your generations, that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.' "
16:33 And Moses said to Aaron, "Take a pot and put an omer of manna in it, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations."
16:34 As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.
16:36 Now an omer is one-tenth of an ephah.
Manna that was kept in the golden pot was an omer or one-tenthof an ephah. Thus, manna is related to the tithes. It means that we return the tithesin order to open the door of heaven. Manna is poured out and we have the blessings up to ten folds.
Luke 12: 42-44
12: 42 And the Lord said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of foodin due season?
12:43 "Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.
12:44 "Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has.
'that he has'= the possession of God. The least is the tithes, and then the worship, and the Bride.
'ruler over all that he has' = God will trusta pastor to receive the tithes, the worship, and the congregation becomes the Bride of God if he feeds the congregation with the spiritual food.
On the contrary, a pastor is a skilled thief when he does not feed the congregation, but receives the tithes.
2 Corinthians 4: 7-9
4: 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the powermay be of God and not of us.
4:8 We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
4:9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed--
'we have this treasure in earthen vessels' = the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ or the true teaching Word (2 Corinthians 4: 3-4).
We must have the time to fill our clay pot with the true teaching Word(manna) so that we get the abundant power from God and we can endurein facing the sprinkling of blood, the test, the cross, or the suffering in the flesh together with Jesus to reach the perfection.
There is no other way. The SPRINKLING OF BLOODmust be in the Most Holy Place. There are two kinds of the sprinkling of blood as follows.
- The seven sprinklings of blood upon the Mercy Seat mean the suffering of Jesus to save us.
- The seven sprinklings of blood in front of the Ark of the Covenant mean our suffering to be perfect.
Why does God let us experience the cross, the sprinkling of blood, the test, or the suffering in the flesh together with Jesus?
- For increasing our faith to be the perfect one as the pure gold.
1 Peter 1: 6-7
1: 6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
1:7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
The proofis we are never hopeless, disappointed, and proud, but we always give thanks to, believe, and hope in God.
- That the life of Jesus may be manifested in our life. The clay pot can be the golden pot that has the manna. We get the life renewal from fleshly man to the spiritual one as Jesus is.
2 Corinthians 4: 10
4: 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
The Mercy Seat was made of pure gold. It refers to the characteristics of Jesus.
The Ark of the Covenant was made of the wood that is overlaid with the pure gold. It means that we can be overlaid with the characteristics of Jesus more and more through the sprinkling of blood until the wood or our characteristic cannot be seen anymore.
Revelation 21: 8
21: 8 "But the cowardly(1), unbelieving(2), abominable(3), murderers(4), sexually immoral(5), sorcerers(6), idolaters(7), and all liars(8) shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
We are renewed from the eight sins until there is no lieand we can be as perfect as Jesus is to be worthy of entering the New Jerusalem. Having the lie, it means that the other seven sins still remain.
We must speak well and correctly with honesty. It begins from about teachings that we can say 'right' if right and 'wrong' if wrong.
We are being trained by God to walk on the New Jerusalem, whose way is made of pure gold, when we are experiencing the test.
Revelation 21: 21
21: 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
Now we are learning to walk, but someday we will truly walk on the New Jerusalem, whose way is made of pure gold. God is guiding us to go there.
Revelation 7: 17
7: 17 "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
He will never leave us in pain, fall, and tears. We are guided to the beautiful, successful, and joyful future life in the Lord until someday there is no more tear and we are with Him forever.
God blesses you.
