Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The theme of the Fellowship Service in Jakarta is Revelation 21: 5: "I make all things new."
21:5. Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."

God has created the heaven and earth with the contents very well, including men with the same image as Him in garden Eden. Unfortunately, the serpent has deceived them to sin. Then, they are driven out to enter the world and live in curses.

In the world, they, including the sons and servants of God, keep on sinning up to the peak, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. They become like dog and swine, wild beast, and a woman who was bent over in the synagogue for eighteen years. They are stamped with 666 by the antichrist; even they become the same as the antichrist to be destroyed forever.

God has a will to recreate the men who have been like the wild beast so that they can be the new men who are as glorious as Jesus is to put them in the new heaven and earth or New Jerusalem forever.

The process is said as RENEWAL.

There are four kinds of the renewal in Revelation 21 as follows.

  1. Revelation 21: 1= the renewal of the new heaven and earth.
  2. Revelation 21: 2-3= the renewal of the new men.
  3. Revelation 21: 4-8= the renewal of the new atmosphere.
  4. Revelation 21: 9-27= the renewal of the New Jerusalem until there is eternality.

AD 3. THE RENEWAL OF THE NEW ATMOSPHERE

Revelation 21: 4-8
21:4."And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
21:6 And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
21:7 "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

The renewal of the new atmosphere can be divided into four kinds as follows.

  1. Revelation 21: 4= the atmosphere without the death.
  2. Revelation 21: 5-6= the atmosphere of the heavenly satisfaction or joy.
  3. Revelation 21: 7= the atmosphere of victory.
  4. Revelation 21: 8= the atmosphere of holiness and perfection.

AD. 3. Revelation 21: 7= the atmosphere of victory.

Revelation 21: 7
21:7 "He who overcomesshall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

Revelation 17: 14
17:14. "These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcomethem, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."

Being called= being saved or set free from sin (being justified).
Being chosen = being sanctified and appointed as priests and kings (the servants of God).

Thus, the atmosphere of victory means the priests and kings or God's servants who serve and minister to Him according to the ministry from Him faithfully until the end, namely the physical death or Jesus' second coming.

2 Corinthians 11: 2-4
11:2. For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothedyou to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
11:3 But I fear, lest somehow, as
the serpent deceived Eveby his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicitythat is in Christ.
11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it!

'a different gospel' = the different teachings.

THE CORE OF FAITHFULNESS
We must keep it when Jesus will come a second time. We must have the true faithfulness to Christ or One Man, namely the true teaching Word. The different teachings have the different Jesus and spirit.

The true teaching Word is written in the Bible and revealed by God through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible.
The simplicity or true faithfulness to Christ determines the one in all other things.

Be careful! Eve has been deceived by the serpent. One loses the simplicity that is in Christ after he is bitten by the serpent and he loses the faithfulness in all things. Be careful of the snakebite.

There are three kinds of the snakebite as follows.

  1. To the ears
    Genesis 3: 1

3:1. Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall noteat of every tree of the garden'?"

'he said' means that Eve has heard the saying of the serpent. Being dare to hear the saying of the serpent means that the ears have been bitten by it.

God says that the fruits in the garden can be eaten freely, but the serpent says different thing. Eve hears it.
The ears are bitten means as follows.

    1. Eve well puts up with it. It means there is no anointing of Holy Spirit, so one does not firmly reject the voice of the serpent or gossips and other doctrines.
      2 Corinthians 11: 4
11:4. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it!

    2. Eve responses the voice of the serpent as follows.

      1. The heart is doubtful.
The serpent says "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?" while God says 'Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat, except one'. The imperative sentence is changed into a question. The firm Word of God is changed into a question that makes the heart doubtful. It causes many problems and tears.
        The consequences are as follows.

        • Eve adds and takes away the Word or changes it.
          Genesis 2: 16
          2:16. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freelyeat;

          Genesis 3: 2
          3:2. And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eatthe fruit of the trees of the garden;

= Eve takes away the Word 'freely'

          Genesis 2: 17
2:17. "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

          Genesis 3: 3
3:3."but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touchit, lest you die.' "

= Eve adds the Word 'touch'.

        • Resisting, rejecting, or disobeying the true teaching Word.
          Genesis 3: 6-7
3:6. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were
naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

Consequently, one gets naked or ashamed, lives in sin, and blames others as well as God. There is the self-truth. Finally, he is left behind to perish forever when Jesus comes a second time because he does not have any garment.

The disobedience begins from the marriage.
Eve gives the forbidden fruit to Adam. It means a woman who teaches and has authority over man in the marriage and household as well as the service and ministry to God.
The fruits in the garden may be eaten, except one. It means that woman may minister to God in all kinds of ministry except teaching and having authority over men.
The right structure in the marriage is Jesus becomes the Head of the man or husband and the husband becomes the head of the wife.

A woman who teaches and has authority over man becomes the head of the man and Jesus is not the Head. The serpent becomes the head and the marriage is in nakedness and curses.
The wives must be careful because they are bitten first by the serpent.

      2. The heart loathes the Word.
        Numbers 21: 4-6
21:4. Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the Way of the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way.
21:5 And the people spoke against God and against Moses: "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and
        our soul loathesthis worthless bread."
        21:6 So the LORD sent
fiery serpentsamong the people, and they bitthe people; and many of the people of Israel died.

'and our soul loathes this worthless bread' = loathing manna.

Such person prioritizes physical things, not the spiritual ones, like Esau who sacrificed the firstborn right to get the worldly things. Consequently, one becomes dry or dead spiritually. Moreover, he enters the second death or the hell forever. He criticizes, vilifies, slanders, and blames the true teaching Word as well as supports the false teachings because of pursuing the physical things.

  2. To the tongue or lips
    Psalm 140: 1-3

    140:1. <<To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.>>
Deliver me, O LORD, from evil men; Preserve me from violent men,
140:2 Who plan evil things in their hearts; They
    continually gather together for war.
    140:3 They sharpen their tongues like a serpent;
The poison of asps is under their lips. Selah

    The signs are as follows.

    1. Speaking idle words, namely lies, slander, corrupt word, provocation, and so on; even one cannot say 'Jesus' and 'Alleluia'.

A demon-possessed man cannot say 'Jesus' and 'Alleluia'.

Not being able to say 'Alleluia' means that one is left behind when Jesus comes a second time.

    2. Not casting out demon in the name of Jesus. Jesus has given us example to cast out demons in facing the temptations.

    Matthew 12: 36
12:36. "But I say to you that for every idle wordmen may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.

Every idle word will be judged forever. Our mouth or lips must be sanctified by the sword of God's Word, so we can speak the right or honest words and the good ones that become blessings for others. We can worship God, saying 'Alleluia'when Jesus comes a second time on the glorious clouds.

  3. To the hand
    Acts 28: 2-8

28:2. And the natives showed us unusual kindness; for they kindled a fire and made us all welcome, because of the rain that was falling and because of the cold.
28:3 But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire,
a vipercame out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
28:4 So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, "No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live."
28:5 But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm.
28:6 However, they were expecting that he would
swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.
28:7 In that region there was an estate of the leading citizen of the island, whose name was Publius, who received us and entertained us courteously for three days.
28:8 And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a
feverand dysentery. Paul went in to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and healed him.

The church enters the spiritual winter, without the love of God.

All things are useless and destroyed forever if there is no love.

The signs of the winter or the condition without the love are as follows.

    1. verse 6: 'swell up'

      1. In the mind, namely arrogance or pride of something.
      2. In the heart, namely hopelessness, disappointment, anger, and emotion when other person advises or rebukes.
      3. In the hand, namely one cannot work or minister to God; even he is useless or becomes burden for others. Paul used his hands for writing the epistle to preach the Word to other places.

    2. Verse 8: 'dysentery'= the stomach is full of the poison of serpent as follows.

      1. Evil lusts or the lust of money that causes these things.

        • Stinginess or one cannot give to God for His work and other people who are in need.
        • Greediness or one seizes the possession of others, especially God's, namely the tithes and offerings.

      2. Uncleanness lusts or sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
      3. Fleshly deeds that make God grieved and ashamed; even the parents, pastor, and other people also grieve.
        Galatians 5: 19-21
5:19.Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Consequently, the entrails of Judas Iscariot gushed out.

    3. Verse 8: 'fever'

      1. Lukewarmness or neither being cold nor hot.
It means there is no faithfulness or fervency in spirit in serving and ministering to God; even one leaves the service and ministry.

        Galatians 6: 11
6:11. See with what large letters I have written to you with my own hand!

If there is no faithfulness or fervency in spirit, one cannot be used in the building of Christ's body, but Babylon's. He perishes forever.

The epistles of Paul contain the Word that makes us fervent in spirit in ministering to God for building the body of Christ, especially about the marriage. If he had not written the epistle anymore, the building of Christ's body would have broken down.

      2. Infection or something that is hidden or has not been finished.
In such condition, one cannot minister to God like the mother in law of Peter. She could serve after she was cured.

We finish all hidden things by confessing and forgiving one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses our sins. We are peaceful and God uses us in the ministry of the building of Christ's body.
The physical things will be finished also if the spiritual things are finished.

    4. Verse 6= 'fell down dead'= spiritual death or the two hands cannot be lifted up to worship God.

Psalm 141: 1-4
(about worship prayer)
141:1.<<A Psalm of David.>> LORD, I cry out to You; Make haste to me! Give earto my voice when I cry out to You.
141:2 Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of
my handsas the evening sacrifice.
141:3 Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of
my lips.
141:4 Do not incline
my heartto any evil thing, To practice wicked works With men who work iniquity; And do not let me eat of their delicacies.

We must be sanctified by the sword of God's Word so that we can worship Him.
As a result, our ears, mouth, and hands are filled up with the love of God whose functions are as follows.

  • For facing the spiritual winter when the rebellion happens.
  • For facing the death. How great we are, we are only like the sheep for slaughter. There is only a step between us and the death.
The results we have if our heart, mouth, and hand are filled with the love of God are as follows.

  1. The merciful hand of God gives us extra power to make us endure.
    Romans 8: 35-37

8:35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
8:36 As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as
    sheep for the slaughter."
8:37 Yet in all these things we are
more than conquerorsthrough Him who loved us.

We are not disappointed or hopeless. We do not leave God in facing anything, but keep faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God until the end. We keep peaceful and all things become easy and light.

  2. The merciful hand of God makes us more than conquerors.
We can win although we are powerless facing the stronger enemy like David defeating Goliath. All things are finished.

  3. The merciful hand of God unites us in one perfect body of Christ and perfects or changes us from fleshly man to spiritual one like Jesus.
    Colossians 3: 14

3:14. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

The beginning of the renewal is we love God more than anything by our obedience and other people like we love ourselves; even we can love our enemy. There is no death. The hatred refers to the death.

One will get worse if he does not change; even he becomes like the wild beast or dog and swine and Satan.

The renewal is the same as the beauty. Our life is more beautiful if we are changed, until someday we are changed to be as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time. We are with Him forever in New Jerusalem.

God blesses you.
