Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are still discussing
Revelation 3.
According to Tabernacle Teaching, Revelation 2-3 refers to
the seven sprinklings of blood before the Ark of the Covenant.
It means
the seven epistlesfor the seven churches of the Gentiles or
the last sanctificationdone by Jesus for
the seven churches of the Gentilesor the congregation in the last days to make them perfect or without blemish like Jesus. They become the perfect Bride of heaven who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds to meet Him, the Heavenly Bridegroom, forever.
God honestly confess the goodness of the churches in the last days. Nevertheless, one reproach will cause all things useless, even imperfect and they cannot welcome Jesus' second coming. They are left and perish. Therefore, we must have the last sanctification until we are without blemish.
There are
seven churches of the Gentilesthat experience the sprinkling of blood as follows.
- The church of EPHESUS(Revelation 2: 1-7) (it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, July 27, 2014up to General Service in Surabaya, September 7, 2014). The church in Ephesus must return to the first loveto return to Paradise.
- The church of SMYRNA(Revelation 2: 8-11) that had to suffer. God said to them not to be afraid in the suffering, but faithful until death(it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, September 14, 2014up to General Service in Surabaya, November 9, 2014).
- The church of PERGAMOS(Revelation 2: 12-17) that must leave the false teachings(it has been explained in Bible Study Service in Surabaya, November 17, 2014).
- The church of THYATIRA(Revelation 2:18-19) thatmust have the sanctification to the heart and deepest mind(it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, January 4, 2015up to General Service in Surabaya, January 18, 2015).
- The church in SARDIS(Revelation 3: 1-6) that experiences spiritual revival and their spirituality is strong= being watchful(it has been explained in Prayer Service in Surabaya, January 21, 2015)
We are learning the fifth church, namely the one is
SARDIS.
We still discuss verse 5-6.
Revelation 3: 5-63:5. "He who overcomesshall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
3:6 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."'THE PROMISES OF GODto the church in Sardis that willingly gets the last sanctification are as follows.
- 'be clothed in white garments' (it has been explained from General Service in Surabaya, February 22, 2015 to General Service in Surabaya, March 1, 2015).
The white garment is the one of the trust of God as follows.
- The garment of ministry
- The light of the gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God or the true teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword or Bride Tidings.
Do not release them, or else you are naked to perish forever.
- 'I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life'= the name is written in the Book of Life.
AD. 2.
THE NAME IS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFERevelation 20: 14-15
20:14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Lifewas cast into the lake of fire.
The processof our name's being written in the book of life is as follows.
- Laboring in the gospel.
Philippians 4: 3
4:3 And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
It means as follows.
- Laboring to serve and minister to God, more than all things in the world.
- Fighting that we can finish the ministry God has trusted to us until the end.
Acts 20: 24
20:24 "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
The end line is our physical death or the time of Jesus' second coming.
John 4: 34
4:34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Himwho sent Me, and to finish His work.
The signs of the true ministry are as follows.
- 'do the will of Him' = obedienceto the true teaching Word.
- 'finish His work' = faithfulnessin doing the service and ministry.
The ministry to God with obedience and faithfulness is the same as giving foodto Jesus to satisfy or please Him.
Then, Jesus satisfies us with true satisfaction or joyof heaven, so we do not look for the pseudo satisfaction in the world that causes sin up to the peak.
Luke 10: 17-20
10:17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."
10:18 And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
10:19 "Behold, I give you the authorityto trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
10:20 "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."
The results of ministering to God with obedience and faithfulness are as follows.
- Victory power in the name of Jesus.
There is guaranteeor strong protection of God as follows.
- Physical protection, nothing may harm us.
- Spiritual protection, namely we can keep on living in righteousness and holiness in the midst or perverse generation in the world. We do not sin up to the peak.
- Victory power until our name is written in the Book of Life.
Revelation 3: 7-8
3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":
3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. "
'have kept My word'= obedience.
'have not denied My name'= faithfulness.
- The key of Davidto open the door of heaven that our name is written in the Book of Life. The doors in the world will be opened or we have solution from all problems.
- Having the white garments or holiness and the anointing oil upon the head.
Revelation 3: 5
3:5 "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
Ecclesiastes 9: 8
9:8 Let your garments always be white, And let your head lack no oil.
The white garments cannot be separated from the anointing oil upon the head.
It means that the holiness cannot be separated from the anointing.
Where can we get the white garments and the anointing oil upon the head?
Leviticus 21: 12
21:12 'nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuaryof his God; for the consecration of the anointing oilof his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
We can get them in the sanctuary or Holy Place. It refers to the shepherding pen or perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service to have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the anointing and gifts.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion to have fellowship with the Son of God in the true teaching Word and Christ's sacrifice.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service to have fellowship with Father God in His love.
As the conclusion, we must be shepherded well and correctlyso that our name is written in the Book of Life and we have the white garments or holiness and the anointing oil of Holy Spirit upon our head.
It begins froma pastorthat must persevere in feeding the sheep with the right foodor the Shepherding Word as the voice of the shepherd in the three main services to God in the shepherding pen.
The true Shepherding Word is the true teaching Word trusted by God to a pastor to preach faithfully, continually, in order, and repetitively to the congregation as their spiritual food.
The sheep must eat the true shepherding Wordso that they can be preserved physically and spiritually to grow to the spiritual maturity or perfection and the name is written in the Book of Life.
The stepsthat our name can be written in the Book of Life through eating the true shepherding Word are as follows.
- The shepherding Word or the voice of the shepherd calls us or the sheep by name.
John 10: 3
10:3 "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by nameand leads them out.
It happens when the shepherding Word shows us our sins and condition.
We must confess all our sins and conditionto God and other people. We do not repeat the sin after being forgiven or we repent.
It means that we confess the name of Jesusand He also confesses us.
In Revelation 3: 5is written 'I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his namebefore My Father and before His angels.
On the contrary, not confessing the sin, but keeping the self truth and blaming others although the Word has shown the sin and condition, one is denying Jesus and being denied by Him.
- The shepherding Word leads usas follows.
- To make us not return in sin, but live in righteousness.
Sinning again means denying God.
- To make us not being deceived by the strange voice or other teachings.
- To lead us to enter the other pen or the fellowship of the body of Christ.
John 10: 16
10:16 "And other sheepI have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
The shepherding Word leads the sheep to other pen so that they become one flock with one shepherd or one perfect body of Christ or Heavenly Bride with one Head or Heavenly Bridegroom.
Being sanctified and renewed to be as perfect as Jesus is, our name has been written completely in the Book of Life. Do not stop being shepherded before it happens.
- Worshiping God, not the antichrist.
Revelation 13: 8
13:8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Lifeof the Lambslain from the foundation of the world.
Worshiping the antichrist, a servant of God becomes the den of thieves. Worshiping God, he will be the house of prayer.
Matthew 21: 12-13
21:12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and soldin the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.
21:13 And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"
The requirement to be the house of prayer or one who worships God is the double sanctification done by the true teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword added with Holy Communion.
If it is rejected, there will be chastisement or the whip. The chastisement also refers to the love of God to make us return to holiness, not to destroy us.
What must be sanctified?
- 'those who bought and sold'= the spirit of the antichrist, namely selling and buying or the will of money. That is the evil spirit or will as follows.
- Looking for physical advantage or blessings in the service and ministry to God.
- Stinginess and greediness.
Stinginess means one cannot give.
Greediness means one robs the possession of others through the corruption, not paying the debt, and so on. It is especially robbing the possession of God, namely the tithes and offerings.
- 'blind' = living in the darkness or unclean spirit, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
Matthew 21: 13-14
21:13 And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"
21:14 Then the blind and the lamecame to Him in the temple, and He healed them.
- 'lame' = doubt spirit, especially about the teaching. It will cause the doubt about worship.
1 Kings 18: 20-22
18:20 So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel.
18:21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, "How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." But the people answered him not a word.
18:22 Then Elijah said to the people, "I alone am left a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men.
Elijah faced 450 prophets of Baal.
The house of Israel was doubtful whether they would worship God or Baal.
'falter between two opinions' = doubt.
'If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him' = one must choose God or Baal without any force.
After the house of Israel chose God, the 450 prophets of Baal were slain and there was the house of prayer.
- Indignant spirit, including jealousy, revenge, and hatred without any cause.
Matthew 21: 15
21:15 But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" they were indignant
Such spirits are in the heart.
Matthew 5: 8
5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
If our heart is sanctified from the four forms of the spirit of the antichrist, we will be able to see the Lord or His face that shines like the sun. We can worship God.
The results of our name's being written in the Book of Life are as follows.
- The sunshine of Jesus' face gives us peace.
Numbers 6: 26
6:26 The LORD lift up His countenanceupon you, And give you peace."'
We do not feel anything that our flesh feels, bu we only love God and all things become easy and light.
- The sunshine of Jesus' face gives us grace.
Numbers 6: 25
6:25 The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;
Hebrews 4: 16
4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
What are the functions of the grace?
- 'to help in time of need' and solve all problems, even the impossible ones in due time.
God will never be late.
- To make all things beautiful and successful in time of need.
Ecclesiastes 3: 11
3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
'no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end' = men often want to try with the way that is not the one of God, consequently, there is destruction and no beauty.
We must wait for the time of God.
- The sunshine of Jesus' face gives us the glory to renew usfrom carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
Luke 9: 28-30
9:28 Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
9:29 As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.
9:30 And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah,
'after these sayings' = the teachings of Jesus or the true teaching Word that results in the true worship.
'the appearance of His face was altered' = being like the sun in Matthew 17: 2.
This is the greatest miracle or spiritual one.
The renewal begins from obedience. It is the same as returning to the glory.
Men were created by God according to His image and glory. Nevertheless, they lost the glory because of sinning and became like dog and swine or the face became the same as Satan's.
Jesus willingly dies in curse on the cross. His face is so marred like dog and swine, even like Satan, to change our marred face into the image of God the Trinity or glorious face.
He gets the name above all names. If we worship Him or see His face that shines in glory or we are changed to be obedient, His name will be attached to our name or we get a new namethat is written in the Book of Life.
Philippians 2: 8-9
2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
God blesses you.
