Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are still discussing Revelation 2-3.
According to Tabernacle Teaching, it refers to the seven sprinklings of blood before the Ark of the Covenant.
It means the seven epistlesfor the seven churches of the Gentiles or the last sanctificationdone by Jesus for the seven churches of the Gentilesor the congregation in the last days to make them perfect or without blemish like Jesus. They become the perfect Bride of heaven who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds to meet Him, the Heavenly Bridegroom, forever. There is God's promise to every church that willingly gets the sanctification.

There are seven churches of the Gentilesthat experience the sprinkling of blood as follows.

AD. 4. THE CHURCH OF THYATIRA

Revelation 2: 25
2:25. "But holdfast what you havetill I come.

The church in Thyatira must hold fast what they haveuntil Jesus comes a second time as follows.

  1. Five superiorities.
    Revelation 2: 19

2:19. "I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.

'as for your works, the last are more than the first' = the growth in the ministry.

    • love,
    • faith,
    • service,
    • perseverance,
    • growth or development in the work of God.

  2. The true teaching Word.
    Revelation 2: 20

2:20. "Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

Although there are superiorities, they cannot be perfect because there are false teachings.
The two kinds of the false teachings are as follows (it has been explained in Bible Study Service in Surabaya, January 5, 2015):

    • The teachings of Jezebel that allow woman to teach and have authority over men or become the head. Consequently, Jesus cannot become the head, but the serpent. It is contradictory to Bride Tidings that teaches about the husband as the head of the wife and Jesus as the head of the man.

    • The teachings of Satan or the depth of Satan up to the hell.
      Revelation 2: 24

2:24 "Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden.

Such teachings resist against Tabernacle teachings (Exodus 25).

Thus, holding the true teachings means holding the Bride Tidings in the light of Tabernacle.

Revelation 2: 26-28

2:26."And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations--
2:27 'He shall
rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels' -- as I also have received from My Father;
2:28 "and
I will give him the morning star.

The church in Thyatira with their superiorities and true teaching has the victory together with God, namely keeping His works until the end. The end means we pass away or Jesus comes a second time. We can surrender our life fully to God until forever.
Many people cannot endure. They stop on the way and leave the Lord.

GOD'S PROMISESfor those who are victorious are as follows.

  1. verse 27= ruling or judging the nations with a rod of iron.
  2. verse 28= God gives the morning star.

Tonight, we learn ruling the nations with a rod of iron.
It is the same as the question of the disciples to the Lord.

Matthew 19: 27-28
19:27. Then Peter answered and said to Him, "See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?"
19:28 So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones,
judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

'judging the twelve tribes of Israel'= not only judging the house of Israel, but also all nations in the world or the Gentiles.
Ruling the nations in the world means sitting on the throne of judgment together with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 6: 2a
6:2a. Do you not know that the saints will judge the world?

Ruling the nations with a rod of iron refers to judging the world.
The church of Thyatira and all of us will judge the world together with the Lord if there is sanctification.

Matthew 19: 27-28
19:27. Then Peter answered and said to Him, "See, we have left alland followed You. Therefore what shall we have?"
19:28 So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

The requirements of sitting on the throne of judgment are as follows.

  1. 'we have left all'

    • There are offerings or sacrifices for God.
Formerly, the house of Israel had to bring the offerings for God. The rich had to bring the ox. The people who were quiet rich had to bring the goat or sheep. The poor had to bring the turtledove. All the animals had to be slaughtered and the meat was cut. We must sacrifice now although it hurts our flesh as if it is cut. We must sacrifice our time, energy, money, and thought, except the true teachings because it is Jesus Himself.

    • Not being bound by anything in the worldincluding the husband, wife, parents, job, and so on.

  2. There must be a renewalbecause the throne of judgment is the one of glory.

Thus, we must be renewed from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus. The cut meat is burnt by fire to produce sweet-smelling aroma before God.

There are two kinds of renewal to be able to sit on the throne of judgment as follows
.

  1. The renewal about justice. A judge must be just, or else he is not a judge and cannot sit on the throne of judgment.

    1 Corinthians 6: 7-10
6:7. Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated?
    6:8 No,
you yourselves do wrongand cheat, and you do these things to your brethren!
6:9 Do you not know that
the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Verse 7-8 = we do not like being treated unjustly, but we ourselves do wrong thing. It means double mistake.

Verse 9 = unjust people will not have any place in heavenly kingdom nor sit on the throne of judgment together with the Lord.

The facts found in being renewed to become the just person are as follows.

    • Not looking for nor insisting justice from others(not looking for problems).

The renewed people like giving all the problems to God or giving way until we can be peaceful and forget them. It is not a foolish surrender because God will work to give us the justice.

    • Not doing unjust or wrong thing to others.
It means that we do not harm others.

One who is unjust cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven (verse 9). We must be careful about the justice in the household, shepherding, office, school, on the road, and so on. Do not arbitrate.

      1 Corinthians 6: 9-10
6:9. Do you not know that the unrighteouswill not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
      6:10
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Unjust people are the same as the fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, homosexuals, sodomites, covetous, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners ('will not inherit the kingdom of God') that will be judged or condemned, not to sit on the throne of judgment.

  2. The renewal about judgment.
The facts found in it are as follows.

    • Not judging others. Now is not the time to judge others.
      Romans 2: 1
2:1. Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

The person who does the judgment to others has the same sin with them.
He likes wearing a mask as a hypocrite.

Such person cannot sit on the throne of judgment, but he himself will be judged.

      Matthew 7: 1
7:1. "Judge not, that you be not judged.

Being judged on the throne of judgment, there is no opportunity for him to correct himself. It means everlasting perdition.

      Matthew 7: 6
7:6. "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

'what is holy' and 'pearls'= the true teaching Word.
One thing can be judged, namely the true teaching Word.
The dog and swine meanChristians who do not experience life renewal, even deliberately sin or enjoy in the mire of sins as follows.

      1. Idle words such as lie and slander like a dog which licks its vomit.
      2. Sinful or unclean deeds like a swine which returns to the wallowing in the mire. It means as follows.

        1. The sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, drugs abuse, and getting drunk.
        2. The sins concerning marrying-being given in mariage or sexuality sin and all its kinds, sexual deviation and wrong mariage.

Judging about the true teaching Word means that we do not give the true teaching to dog and swine or the people who do not change, even deliberately sin, because there will be debate and quarrel ('and turn and tear you in pieces'). Consequently, there is no faith, but knowledge and division.

On the contrary, do not receive the false teachings from the dogs or false prophet.
      Philippians 3: 1b-2
3-1b. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.
      3:2 Beware of
dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation!

      'the mutilation'= false prophet.

The false teachings only deceive and destroy our life.

Let us give honor to God more than anyone.
Eve tried to give honor to the serpent more than to God. Consequently, there is destruction.

The true teaching Word must be preached repetitively like what Paul said to give us assurance in our faith and we do not repetitively fall in the sins of dog and swine.

    • Judging ourselves.
      1 Peter 4: 17a
      4:17a. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God;

'the house of God'= our own life.
Thus, the judgment begins from our own life.

The facts found in judging our life are as follows.

      1. Judging our life by the Word of Jesus or the revelation of God's Word through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible or the true teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword.
        John 12: 47-48

12:47. "And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
12:48 "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--
the word that I have spoken will judge himin the last day.

verse 48 = the Word will be the judge in the last days. The report about what we have done will be opened on the throne of judgment to be matched with the Word. If it does not match, there will be destruction. It is better to judge our life now.

A verse in the Bible is the Word of Jesus. It is explained by other verses that are the Word of Jesus also. Thus, all verses are the Word of Jesus that is able to sanctify us.

        Hebrews 4: 12-13
4:12.For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
        4:13 And
there is no creature hiddenfrom His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

The church in Thyatira must be sanctified in the heart and mind up to the deepest mind or kidney so that they can be set free from the teachings of Jezebel and Satan.
The sword of God's Word judges or sanctifies us first in our heart and mindor the source of our spiritual life.

        Matthew 15: 19
        15:19. "For out of the heartproceed evil thoughts(1), murders(2), adulteries(3), fornications(4), thefts(5), false witness(6), blasphemies(7).

There are seven things that must be sanctified in our heart as follows.

        1. Evil thought.
It will cause strife and division.

        2. Murder or hatred without any cause.
It happens because of evil thought.

        3. Adultery. It happens once.
        4. Fornication. It happens many times.
        5. Theft. Especially to the possession of God.
        6. False witness, including lie.
        7. Blasphemy. It begins from vilifying and slandering others, even blaspheming God and the true teaching Word. The true teaching Word is blamed and criticized, but the false one is supported with many reasons.

Being sanctified from seven evil and unclean lusts, our heart is filled with Holy Spirit and the seven manifestations, so we can fear the Lord and not blaspheme Him.

        Isaiah 11: 1-3a
11:1. There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him
(1), The Spirit of wisdom(2)and understanding(3), The Spirit of counsel(4)and might(5), The Spirit of knowledge(6)and of the fear of the LORD(7).
11:3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD,

'There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse' = from the descendants of Jesse (the descendants of David), namely Jesus.
'the fear of the LORD' = the fear of doing sin. It means hating the sins, even the lie.

        Proverbs 8: 13
8:13.The fear of the LORDis to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouthI hate.

      2. Judging our life by the Holy Communion.
        1 Corinthians 11: 28

11:28. But let a man examinehimself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

The fact found in it is honesty.
        Matthew 26: 21-25
26:21. Now as they were eating, He said, "Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me."
26:22 And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, "Lord, is it I?"
26:23 He answered and said, "
He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.
26:24 "The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."
        26:25 Then
Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it."

We must be honest, especially in confessing sin.
Judas was not honest. He did not confess, but kept his sins as follows.

        1. Thief. He sold Jesus because of the will of money.
        2. Betrayer. It means unfaithfulness in the service and ministry to God.
        3. Hypocrisy or pretense. Other disciples ran away when Jesus would be caught in Gethsemane garden, but Judas kissed Him to betray Him.
        4. Liar.
        5. Accuser. He said "Is it I?" means that he judged other disciples.

God sets uf free from the sins of Judas through the Holy Communion. Just confess our sin! If we are not sinful, just be in silence although other people blame us.

We judge our life doubly through Bible Study Serviceor the sword of God's Word and Holy Communionor the sacrifice of Christ so that we are set free from the sins of Judas Iscariot. Such five sins are the ones of the servants of God.

The servants of God who keep the sin or do not confess it honestly, even blame others, will have no value before God. Moreover, they will perish forever ('It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.').

        John 13: 26-27
13:26. Jesus answered, "It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it." And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
13:27 Now after the piece of bread,
Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, "What you do, do quickly."

Such sins are truly made permanent.

Judas kept the sin while the teaching Word was preached and there was the Holy Communion. Finally, Satan entered him. It means that he made friendship with Satan and became the same as him or perished forever.

On the contrary, we will make friendship with Godif we honestlyconfess our sins through Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We will get the grace of God that is greater than our problem. We are truly forgiven by God, regardless of any sin we have done.

      3. We judge ourselves through the testor suffering in the flesh together with Jesus or the sprinkling of blood.
Psalm 26: 2-3 ('a Prayer for Divine Scrutiny and Redemption')
26:2. Examineme, O LORD, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart. 26:3 For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.

'mind' refers to the deepest one or the kidney.
The tests may happen through the problem in economy and other tests to sanctify us from hidden sinswe often do not realize and false teachings.

        Revelation 2: 23
2:23. "I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the mindsand hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

'I am He who searches the minds'= because there is false teachings in the church of Thyatira.
We are sanctified from hidden sins, namely self-truth that is white but leprosy and false teachings. In such condition, one only looks at himself.
Being sanctified, our eyes will only look at Jesus, High Priest, who sits on the right hand of Father God's throne('Your lovingkindness is before my eyes ').

It means that we look at Jesus or worship Him.

After being sanctified by the Word and Holy Communion, we must suffer in the flesh to make us look at and correct ourselves so that we can see Jesus, not others.

David has seen God since he shepherds two or three sheep until he becomes a great king. He always sees God.

        Psalm 16: 8
16:8. I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.

As long as we look at God, we will never be moved, but strong and of good courage.
        It means as follows.

        1. Holding fast and obeying or believing in the one true teaching Word or Jesus Himself and not being tossed by other teachings, regardless of any risk we have to take.
        2. We are not disappointed or hopeless in facing all things, but believe and hope in the power of God. Doubting the true teaching Word will cause the doubt to His power. On the contrary, if we hold fast the true teaching Word, we will not doubt the power of God.

        3. We keep on worshiping God.

David kept strong and of good courage when he was in distress.
        1 Samuel 30: 6
30:6. Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.

He did not run away, but strengthened himself in the Lord his God. He only looked at and worshiped the Lord.

The results of being strong and of good courage are as follows.

  • The victory powerfrom God to defeat the enemies.
    1 Samuel 30: 17-18

30:17. Then David attacked themfrom twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled.
    30:18 So
David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives.

= solving the impossible problems and returning the things that have vanished away, even a hair will not vanish away.

  • The power of protection and preservation of Godin the midst of difficulties in the world, so a hair of our head will never vanish.

  • The power of God to arrange all things, including our future life will be good, successful, and beautiful in His time.
    2 Samuel 10: 12
10:12. "Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight."

  • The power of God's employment to our lifein the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain for building the body of Christ.
    Joshua 1: 6
1:6. "Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I sworeto their fathers to give them.

'the land which I swore' = entering Canaan.
It means that we enter the revival of the building of the perfect Christ's body.

  • The power to sanctify and renewus until we are perfect and without blemish like Jesus.
    1 Thessalonians 3: 13
3:13. so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holinessbefore our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

We beProverbs 8: 13come the Bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.

God blesses you.
