Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:73:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":
Jesus appears as He who has the key of David for the church in Philadelphia to do three great things as follows.
- Opening the door that cannot be shut by anyone [Revelation 3:8].
- Giving victory over the synagogue of Satan [Revelation 3:9].
- Keeping us from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world [Revelation 3:10]
Revelation 3:103:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trialwhich shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
On the last days, when Jesus will come a second time, all men in the world will face the temptations that increase up to the antichrist who reigns over the world for three years and six months.
Jesus appears as He who holds the key of David. He is able to protect us from the temptations up to the days when the antichrist reigns over the world so that we will not become the prey of the antichrist. We will not become the same as the antichrist.
1 John 2:18-192:18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.Antichrist means a person who is not serious in the true shepherding or service and ministry to God. For example, Judas Iscariot was a great disciple and treasurer of Jesus, but he was not serious in the shepherding because of the hardness of heart until he became a traitor.
We must be shepherded well and correctly so that we can serve and minister to God faithfully and correctly as the priests and kings. Why do we have to become the priests and kings? Because the inhabitants of the One Thousand Years Kingdom of Peace or the Future Paradise are the priests and kings.
Revelation 20:620:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priestsof God and of Christ, and shall reignwith Him a thousand years. The inhabitants of the heavenly kingdom or New Jerusalem are the priests and kings.
Revelation 22:3, 522:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 22:5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever. We become the priests and kings because of the mercy of God. Do not minister to Him in careless manners or not seriousness so that we do not become the antichrist.
Acts 20:28-3120:28 "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
20:29 "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
20:30 "Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
20:31 "Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears. There are many priests and kings who go out of the true shepherding system and become the antichrist because of the negligence or not seriousness.
Jeremiah 48:1048:10 Cursed is he who does the work of the LORD deceitfully, And cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood. There are two kinds of negligence as follows.
- In the service and ministry to God.
Matthew 25:25-26, 30
25:25 'And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.'
25:26 "But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
25:30 'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
It begins from a pastor who is negligent, lazy, and evil. It means that he is unprofitable; even he is destroying the body of Christ.
Proverbs 18:9
18:9 He who is slothful in his work Is a brother to him who is a great destroyer.
Consequently, he lives in the darkness of sin, the dark future life, and perdition.
God does not need the great servants, but the faithful and true ones.
Proverbs 20:6-7
20:6 Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a faithful man?
20:7 The righteousman walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him.
The faithful and true will be used by God in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
Revelation 19:11
19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
If we become the faithful and true servant of God, there will be a hope to be faithful and true in everything.
2 Timothy 2:13
2:13If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
One who is not faithful and true is denying Jesus and will perish.
If we are not faithful, Jesus will keep faithful. It means as follows.
- The faithfulness is the character of Jesus that cannot be changed.
- Jesus comes with the Word when we are not faithful. He gives us opportunity that we can return to the faithfulness.
Philemon 1:10-12
1:10 I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten while in my chains,
1:11 who once was unprofitable to you, but now is profitable to you and to me.
1:12 I am sending him back. You therefore receive him, that is, my own heart,
For example, Onesimus, an evil and unfaithful servant of God, could be good and faithful by the preaching of Paul. As a result, he could be received anymore, not thrown back. Jesus was willingly thrown away on the cross so that we are not thrown away, but get the opportunity to be faithful and true. We must take the example of Jesus who willingly sacrifices all things to be faithful and true.
- In the sanctification.
Jeremiah 48:10b
48:10 ....,And cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood!
It means hindering or rejecting the sharp sword of God's Word to look for the comfortable things for the flesh. One smiles in sin and weeps in the hell.
Hebrews 4:12-13
4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
We must be sanctified by the sword of God's Word, beginning from our heart, the hiding place or storehouse of sin.
If a servant of God hides a sin, the presence of God will be hidden in the congregation. On the contrary, the presence of God will come in the congregation if the sins in the heart are sanctified.
We are sanctified intensively or continually in the shepherding pen, so we grow spiritually until we reach the perfection or there is no blemish anymore.
Acts 20:31-32
20:31 "Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.
20:32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
The shepherding Word is the true teaching Word that is trusted by God to a pastor that he may preach to the congregation faithfully, regularly, and repetitively to become the food for them until they can grow spiritually and become perfect. It is the Word of grace that comes from God. It cannot be learnt anywhere, but at the feet of Jesus.
The grace is the precious gift to the people who are not worthy to get. Actually, the Word is only for the children or the house of Israel. The dog or Gentiles does not deserve to get it. Therefore, we must appreciate the Word like the dog licking the crumbs.
Acts 2:36-37
2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
The right attitudes toward the shepherding Word or the Word of grace are as follows.
- Knowing assuredly. It means that our mind is touched by God until we can understand.
- Being cut to the heart. It means that we believe in the truth of the Word. We can realize and regret our sin. We can confess it to God and other people. After being forgiven, we do not repeat it. We are delivered from sin. We get the sanctification and spiritual growth until we have spiritual maturity.
Judas Iscariot could not receive the sword of God's Word that was preached by Jesus Himself because he kept his hard heart and sins. He hid his sins, so they grew until his entrails gushed out. His life was not beautiful and he perished forever.
Acts 20:31
20:31 "Therefore watch, and remember that for three yearsI did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.
The interval of three years is the time limit from the work of the sword of God's Word to sanctify us until we are perfect. The longsuffering of God has the limit. It means that someday there will be no opportunity anymore.
Luke 13:6-9
13:6He also spoke this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
13:7 "Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, 'Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?'
13:8 "But he answered and said to him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
13:9 'And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.'"
There is a difference between the fig tree planted by the road and the one planted in the vineyard. The fig tree planted by the road refers to the people who are not shepherded, but wander. It was cursed, dry, and dead soon after it could not bear fruits. The fig tree planted in the vineyard refers to the shepherded people. It was not cut down immediately when it could not bear fruits. It means that the intercession prayer of a pastor will draw the mercy of God to give us opportunity to bear fruits.
Hebrews 13:17
13:17Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.
A pastor must lift up the intercession prayer with responsibility and full of sacrifice.
The sheep must not make the pastor grieved so that the intercession prayer will not be hindered. If the prayer is hindered, there will be no covering of the protection of God.
Luke 13:8
13:8 "But he answered and said to him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
We must be sanctified from the roots of evil, rottenness, and bitterness or wormwood so that we can be fruitful.
1 Timothy 6:10
6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The root of evil means the love of money that causes stinginess (one cannot give) and greediness (one robs the possession of others and God's, namely tithes and offerings).
Isaiah 5:24
5:24 Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, And the flame consumes the chaff, So their root will be as rottenness, And their blossom will ascend like dust; Because they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts, And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
The root of rottenness means the rejection to the sanctification sword that points at the sins.
Deuteronomy 29:18
29:18 "so that there may not be among you man or woman or family or tribe, whose heart turns away today from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations, and that there may not be among you a root bearing bitterness or wormwood;
A root bearing bitterness or wormwood means the idolatry or prioritizing something more than God.
If our heart is sanctified from the bad roots, we will have the true root, namely the firm faith.
Proverbs 12:3
12:3 A man is not established by wickedness, But the root of the righteouscannot be moved.
We will also have the root of love.
Ephesians 3:17
3:17that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
As a result, our life becomes like a tree planted by the rivers of water or we can be shepherded well and correctly.
Psalm 1:1-3
1:1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
1:3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
We are shepherded well and correctly in the Holy Place. There are three kinds of equipment in it that refer to the perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service to have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion to have fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Worship Prayer Service to have fellowship with Father God in the love.
We persevere in waiting for the Lord like John that leaned on Jesus' bosom. The results are as follows.
- The leaves are always green and not dry. It means that we have the heavenly satisfaction and joy, so we do not look for the satisfaction in the world. We keep faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God until the end.
- We can bear fruits, namely the fruit of lips or good and righteous saying.
Hebrews 13:15
13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
Hebrews 13:16
13:16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
We can do good deeds; even repay good for evil.
Hebrews 13:17
13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.
We can be obedient until our flesh does not speak anymore.
Genesis 37:13
37:13 And Israel said to Joseph, "Are not your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, I will send you to them." So he said to him, "Here I am."
Genesis 39:21, 23
39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
39:23 The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph's authority, because the LORD was with him; and whatever he did, the LORD made it prosper.
Joseph was obedient until he was put in the prison, but God was with him to give him His mercy and goodness.
Psalm 17:7-8
17:7Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.
17:8 Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
We become the apple of God's eye.
The hand of God's lovingkindness is able to preserve and protect us marvelously in the midst of the difficulties in the world up to the time when the antichrist reigns over the world. The hand of God's lovingkindness is able to make all things beautiful and successful in His time although we are in limitation.
The hand of God's lovingkindness is able to change us until we are perfect and become the bride who is ready to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
