Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14 refers to the seven sprinklings of blood in front of the Ark of the Covenant or the suffering in the flesh for the church together with Jesus as the last sanctification that the church can reach the quality of being blameless or perfect.
Revelation 14 can be divided into the following three parts:
- Verse 1-5 = the church's following Jesus as the Lamb of God (it has been explained in General Service in Malang, August 15, 2021).
- Verse 6-13 = the judgment.
- Verse 14-20 = the harvest on earth.
ad. 1.
Revelation 14:114:1.Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads.
There are the sprinkling of blood and the following.
Thus, the church's following Jesus is signified by the sprinkling of blood, so there is increasing sanctification and renewal up to Mount Zion or the quality of the perfection of the heavenly bride (it has been explained from General Service in Malang, August 15, 2021 to General Service in Malang, August 29, 2021).
Revelation 14:2-514:2. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters(1), and like the voice of loud thunder(2). And I heard the sound of harpists(3)playing their harps.
14:3 They sang as it were a new song(4)before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
14:4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins(5). These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits(6)to God and to the Lamb.
14:5 And in their mouth was found no deceit(7), for they are without fault before the throne of God. There are seven facts about our following Jesus up to Mount Zion as follows:
- [Revelation 14:2a] like the voice of many waters. It means that it cannot be blocked (it has been explained from Bible Study Service in Malang, August 31, 2021 to Prayer Service in Malang, September 2, 2021).
- [Revelation 14:2b] like the voice of loud thunder. It means the power of the teaching Word (it has been explained in General Service in Malang, September 5, 2021).
- [Revelation 14:2c] the sound of harpists playing their harps (it has been explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, September 7, 2021
- [Revelation 14:3] a new song.
- [Revelation 14:4a] they are virgins.
- [Revelation 14:4b] being firstfruits to God.
- [Revelation 14:5] in their mouth was found no deceit = for they are without fault.
ad. 3.
the sound of harpists playing their harps .
Revelation 14:214:2. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.
Following Jesus like the sound of harpists playing their harps means being in peace (it has been explained from
Bible Study Service in Malang, September 7, 2021to
Prayer Service in Malang, September 9, 2021).
It also means following Jesus in the fellowship or unity. The differences are many, but they are one (it has been explained in
General Service in Malang, September12, 2021).
It starts from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the oneness of the Israelites and Gentiles in the one perfect body of Christ.
It refers to the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the edification of the perfect body of Christ that will be lifted up to the glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time until entering the New Jerusalem, the spiritual Canaan, or the promised land.
It has been prophesied by the journey of the Israelites going out of Egypt to Canaan.
Exodus 18 can be divided into two parts as follows:
- Verse 1-12 = Jethro visited Moses.
Jethro belonged to the Gentile while Moses belonged to the Israelite. It refers to following Jesus in the fellowship.
- Verse 13-27 = Appointing the judges.
It is in line with the parts in the book of Revelation chapter 14, namely the following, and then the judgment.
Moses had visited Jethro, and then Jethro visited Moses.
The matter of Moses' visiting Jethro refers to the revival of Holy Spirit at the early rain in the gospel Word, so the Israelites and Gentiles can be saved.
The matter of Jethro's visiting Moses refers to the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain in the teaching Word for bringing the saved people to become one perfect body of Christ.
The Israelites and Gentiles can be united, so we will also have a hope for being united with our family.
Thus, following Jesus that is like the sound of harpists playing their harps means that we must be active in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the ministry of the edification of the perfect body of Christ.
Exodus 18:518:5.and Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses in the wilderness, where he was encamped at the mountain of God.
The place where Jethro and Moses met refers to the place of the edification of the perfect body of Christ as follows:
- 'in the wilderness'.
It means as follows:
- In the world.
Thus, as long as we are living in the world, we must use the opportunity although it is very small like the eye of a needle for being active in the ministry of the edification of the perfect body of Christ.
The matter of salvation and perfection is our business right now, not latter. Do not postpone doing something which God has stirred in our heart.
- In the wilderness, we cannot hope anyone. It refers to the atmosphere of crisis. Thus, we are not tied to the world, but only rely on God.
- 'at the mountain of God' = the mountain of worship.
It means that in the edification of the perfect body of Christ, we worship God much more for making our life little. We confess that we are not worthy, so we can get the great power of God which cannot be hindered by anything until we are successful. The time of God will come if we feel little more and more.
The atmospheres of the edification of the body of Christ are as follows:
- Exodus 18:7
18:7.So Moses went out to meet his father-in-law, bowed down, and kissed him. And they asked each other about their well-being, and they went into the tent.
'kissed him' = making peace through confessing and forgiving one another, so there is the atmosphere of the tent.
Entering the tent = the unity or fellowship that starts in the Tabernacle teaching or the true teaching Word.
If there is no unity in the teaching, the people will be scattered.
Thus, the atmosphere of the edification of the body of Christ is in the unity and peace. That is the atmosphere of heaven.
- The atmosphere of testimony.
Exodus 18:8
18:8.And Moses told his father-in-law all that the LORD had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardship that had come upon them on the way, and how the LORD had delivered them.
What must be testified? We testify the things which God has done in our life. It begins from our victory over sins. We also testify about how God has helped us when we are in troubles, so we are not arrogant.
We testify as well as invite all people before it is late.
- The joy of heaven because of the mercy and goodness of God, so we can always give thanks.
Exodus 18:9-11
18:9 Then Jethro rejoiced for all the good which the LORD had done for Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.
18:10 And Jethro said, "Blessed be the LORD, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh, and who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.
18:11 "Now I know that the LORD is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them."
We must not be disappointed and hopeless regardless of anything we must face because we know that all things which God has permitted to happen are His mercy and goodness.
- The atmosphere of sacrificing the offering = without any intention to get physical profit.
Exodus 18:12
18:12.Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and other sacrifices to offer to God. And Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before God.
We do not look for the physical profit, but we sacrifice.
The atmosphere of heaven is giving the sacrifice like Jesus who has sacrificed all things for us.
The sacrifice begins from returning the tithes and offerings that belong to God. Afterwards, we sacrifice our time, energy, and so on up to our whole life to God.
The requirements of actively ministering to God in the edification of the perfect body of Christ are as follows:
- Being like Jethro, the priest of Midian.
Exodus 18:1
18:1.And Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, heard of all that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people -- that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt.
Jethro means the brave or winner.
It means that we must defeat the following things for actively ministering to God:
- The sins.
1 Corinthians 15:26
15:26.The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
Jesus defeats the death. We must also defeat the sins up to the peak, especially the hatred and lies.
We repent and live in righteousness. As long as there are lie and hatred, one cannot live in righteousness.
One who does not repent cannot minister to God.
- The flesh with all of its lusts.
Romans 8:7
8:7.Because the carnal mindis enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
If there is the fleshly lust, there will be no obedience to God.
Defeating the flesh, we will be the obedient servant of God.
- The world with all of its influence.
James 4:4
4:4.Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the worldis enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Defeating the world with all of its influences, we will be the faithful servant of God.
Thus, the requirement of ministering to God is obedience, faithfulness, and righteousness.
- Jethro brought Zipporah, the wife of Moses.
It means as follows:
- For ministering to God in the edification of the body of Christ, the Gentiles must bring the Bride Tidings.
Exodus 18:2
18:2.Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back,
The Gospel is important, but many Israelites reject it. Therefore, we bring the teaching to Israel that Jesus will come again in the glory as the King of kings and the Heavenly Bridegroom for glorifying all of us.
- We must hold fast and obey the true teaching Word or put the sword on our side, so we get the sanctification to our heart and mind from the evil and unclean lusts as well as the bitterness.
Psalm 149:6
149:6.Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,
We are sanctified up to our mouth for glorifying God. We can say the righteous, good, and honest words, especially about the teaching Word.
Not being honest about the teaching, one cannot be hoped.
Being honest, we will be the pattern of good works.
Titus 2:7
2:7.in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,
Being honest in the teaching Word, there is a hope for being honest in all things.
Being holy, we will be appointed as priests and kings for being used in the ministry for the edification of the perfect body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11.And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saintsfor the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
Be careful! Releasing the Bride Tidings after previously receiving and experiencing it is the same as divorcing Zipporah from Moses. Divorcing the wife is the same as the body which is without the head.
Consequently, one becomes spiritually dead, dry, and blind. His life is without any control and he falls in a deep pit.
Leaving the Bride Tidings and then turning to others is the same as remarrying. It is the same as making the Bride Tidings rotten or preaching the bad news like the ten spies. It causes the wild beasts whose carcasses fall in the wilderness.
- Bringing the sons of Moses. It means that the Gentiles must have the fruits of the Bride Tidings.
Exodus 18:3-4
18:3.with her two sons, of whom the name of one was Gershom (for he said, "I have been a stranger in a foreign land")
18:4 and the name of the other was Eliezer (for he said, "The God of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh");
- Gershom= being stranger in a foreign land.
Hebrews 11:9
11:9.By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;
We feel strange in the world, so we live in the system of the tent or the shepherding one.
It means that the Gentiles must live in the shepherding system as follows:
- Being shepherded to the true teaching Word.
- The perseverance in committing the three main services to God, namely the General Service, Bible Study Service, and the Prayer Service.
Being shepherded is the same as a branch's abiding in the true Vine or a colt's being tied to the true Vine.
The result is not being dry, so we can always give thanks. We do not become the wild and unclean donkey. We must bear sweet fruits and sooner or later we will testify 'I shall not want'.
- Eliezermeans as follows:
- Being victorious over the sword of Pharaoh.
We willingly suffer in the flesh for rejecting the command of Satan although we must sacrifice our soul like Puah and Siphrah.
We keep on living in righteousness and holiness, regardless of any risks we must take and God will plead for us.
- 'The God of my father was my help'.
It means appreciating the cross of Christ. We only hope the mercy of God.
Psalm 123:1-3
123:1. <<A Song of Ascents.>> Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens.
123:2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the LORD our God, Until He has mercy on us.
123:3 Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us! For we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
The results are as follows:
- The leprosy is healed.
Mark 1:40-42
1:40.Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You can make me clean."
1:41 Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."
1:42 As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
The leprosy refers to the self-truth.
God stretches out His hands for changing us from the self-truth, so we can confess our sins to God and forgive the sins of others. This is the greatest miracle.
The blood of Jesus cleanses our sins, so we can live in righteousness and get peace.
The physical miracles will also happen. The impossible will be possible.
- The power of resurrection.
Luke 7:12-16
7:12.And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her.
7:13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."
7:14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise."
7:15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
7:16 Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has risen up among us"; and, "God has visited His people."
The power of resurrection is able to preserve our life that is small and powerless in the midst of crises in the world up to the days when the Antichrist reigns in the world up to the eternal life.
The hands of God finish all impossible problems and wipe all tears and sadness to become peace.
God is able to restore the marriage and children.
When Jesus comes a second time, we will be changed to be as perfect as He is for being worthy for welcoming His second coming on the glorious clouds. We enter the New Jerusalem, the land of promise.
God blesses you.
