Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 27 refers to the seven sprinklings of blood upon the Ark of the Covenant. It means suffering Jesus experiences until He dies on the cross to save, sanctify, and perfect us.
There are seven passages that refer to the seven sufferings Jesus experiences. We learn the fifth one, namely the miracles that happen when Jesus dies [Matthew 27:51-56].
Do not be afraid when we experience the death or suffering in the flesh because of Jesus, because there are miracles behind it.
Matthew 27:5127:51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, The miracles that happen when Jesus dies are as follows.
- The veil of the temple is torn in two from top to bottom.
- There is earthquake and the rocks are split, referring to a revival.
- The graves are opened.
Matthew 27:52-5327:52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
27:53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
The meaning of grave is as follows.
- The physical meaning is the place to bury dead body of human.
- The spiritual meaning is the place where wicked and unclean spirits conquer to kill the spirituality of the sons or servants of God up to the second death in hell. Such place is the lengthening of the hand of Satan such as discotheque, movie theatre, et cetera. There are also places for spiritual activities but there is death within them, namely false fellowships with wild gourds or false teaching that causes death as it has happened to the fellowship of prophets on the days of Elisha, the prophet.
It is the Gentiles who like to dwell among the tombs.
Mark 5:1-35:1. Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.
5:2 And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
5:3 who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, Consequently, they are demon-possessed and death rules over them.
The signs of the Gentiles who are conquered by the death or demon-possessed are as follows.
- Dwelling among the tombs.
Meaning being isolated or separated from the body of Christ. It means spiritual dryness or life in sin.
Living in sin means knowing about sin but keeping on doing it and there is no will to return to righteousness.
John 15:6
15:6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
Such lives become dry branches which will be gathered to be burnt.
- None can tame him because he becomes as wild beast.
Mark 5:4
5:4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him.
Meaning life according to the wild flesh with all its lusts and wills. Consequently, one is difficult to be arranged and advised because he always argues with his self-truth, resists and disobeys.
- Being in the mountains always night and day, crying out, and cutting himself with stones.
Mark 5:5
5:5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.
Wandering means being wild or not being shepherded as follows.
- Not holding fast to one true teaching Word. It means there is no true Vine because of supposing all teachings are same.
- Being in the sheepfold but the heart wanders.
For example, Judas Iscariot forces himself to be inside the shepherding but he cannot eat the true shepherding Word because he prefers to hear false voice than the shepherd’s voice.
Crying out means murmuring because of insisting something, whispering or gossiping none may account for the truth and hurting other people through slandering (saying false about right thing or vice versa) and lying.
Cutting oneself with stones means being hard-hearted and destroying oneself.
2 Timothy 3:5-8
3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
3:6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,
3:7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith;
The hardness in heart means rejection to the true teaching Word because of self-truth. Consequently, one resists the truth and becomes man of corrupt minds, and disapproved concerning the faith. It means he becomes mad.
The practice of destroying oneself or being mad is as follows.
- Committing adultery through sight, mind, or deeds.
Proverbs 6:32
6:32 Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; He who does so destroys his own soul.
Adultery means sexual intercourse between a man and a woman who are not legal spouse, a man and another man, a woman and another woman, or a human with animal.
Destroying oneself can also happen through sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, being drunk, and drugs abuse.
- The ambience of marriage is destroyed.
It happens when a husband does bitterly toward his wife even he hits her. It means he cuts himself with stone. The ambience of the marriage is destroyed because there is fear and tears. Actually, the husband should make the marriage become in ambience of paradise with warmth and preservation.
Moreover, the wife does not obey her husband, even she wants to become his head. Consequently, the ambience of marriage becomes bitter in the curse. Actually, the wife should become the sweetness of marriage.
Not only about the husband and wife, the children can destroy the ambience of marriage through their disobedience to the parents. Consequently, the ambience of marriage becomes dark without any beauty.
- The condition of marriage is destroyed.
The false marriage such as mixed-marriage, marriage after divorce, and marrying-being given in marriage will go toward Babylon or forever perdition.
Jesus is willing to come and help when the Gentiles are in crisis or in the lengthening of the hand of the death. He passes through wind and wave, referring to the power of death, in order to help the Gentile who dwells among the tombs.
Meaning He is willing to die on the cross with four main wounds to help or deliver the house of Israel from the death. Moreover, there is the fifth wound that is the biggest one in His side to help or deliver the Gentiles from the death.
John 19:33-3419:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.
19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. Blood and water come out of the fifth wound.
The blood refers to the Altar of Burnt Offering or repentance. Meaning we stop sinning to return to God or we die to sin.
The water means the Brazen Laver or water baptism or life renewal.
Romans 6:46:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. We who have died to sin or repented must enter the burial in water together with Jesus, so we will not enter the tomb of death but we can resurrect in new life. The new life means we are delivered from sins to live in righteousness with good conscience or obedience until the flesh does not speak anymore.
1 Peter 3:20-213:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us––baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Jesus, through His death on the cross, is able to chase away wicked and unclean spirit or death that conquers the Gentiles, so they can be delivered from the death and live in righteousness and obedience. It means the graves are opened when Jesus dies or the miracles happen.
Mark 5:155:15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon–possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. The result is as follows.
- Having right mind and good heart to be written with the true teaching Word.
Hebrews 10:16-17
10:16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,"
10:17 then He adds, "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."
The true teaching Word is written in our mind until we can understand it.
Then it is written in our heart when we believe in it, so it becomes faith in our heart.
If our heart believes, our mouth will confess our sin to God and other people. Afterwards, we should not repeat it. As a result, the blood of Jesus covers our nakedness and we are saved.
Our mouth can confess or cry the name of Jesus and He will open ways in all aspects of our life. There will be opened ways or solution for our problems where there is revelation of God’s Word.
- Clothing, referring to righteous and holy life.
We can be employed as the armor of righteousness to minister to God. It means we get the tunic of many colors or beautiful life.
- Sitting.
Sitting on the grass means we are shepherded to the true teaching Word. There is wonderful preservation as five loaves of bread and two fish for five thousand men.
Sitting on the ground means the true teaching Word sanctifies and renews us until we can confess that we are only powerless and unworthy clay that only deserves to be trampled underfoot. Our life only relies on the merciful hand of the Potter.
His merciful hand is able to make possible all impossible things. All matters are finished by God.
We are created as glorious vessel, meaning we are employed in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain to build Christ’s perfect body.
Jeremiah 18:4-6
18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.
18:5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying:
18:6 "O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?" says the LORD. "Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!
God is able to heal when our vessel has been destroyed by the sin.
We can be changed to become as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time.
The graves will be opened and the dead will be resurrected first and exalted on glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time.
God blesses you.
