Peace and grace in the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:17-191:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
1:18 "I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
1:19 "Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.John fell down at Jesus’ feet. It means worshiping God with a contrite heart until the flesh does not speak anymore or fully surrendering to Him and experiencing the touching of His hand. As a result, John experienced these three things.
- “Do not be afraid.” It is the renewal to the feeling.
- “I am the First and the Last.” It means experiencing the increasing love of God from the first love to the perfect one.
- “I was dead and am alive.” It means receiving the power of victory over the death and the keys of heavenly kingdom.
The key of heavenly kingdom is the suffering in the flesh together with Jesus [Acts 14:22]. It has been discussed in Prayer Service in Malang, August 26, 2014.
2 Peter 1:10-111:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and electionsure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
1:11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The key of heavenly kingdom is the calling and election of God or the royal priesthood. God calls and elects us to make us as the priests and kings or His servants who have the priest’s office or ministry.
We must serve and minister to God according to the ministry He has trusted us until the end, so that we have the full right to enter the kingdom of heaven or receive the key of heavenly kingdom.
The Order for the Priests.
In Old Testament, the order for the priests was according to the order of Aaron that the high priest and priests are from the house of Israel, namely the tribe of Levi. The high priest was Aaron and the priests were his sons.
In New Testament, the order for the priests is according to the order of Melchizedek. The High priest is Jesus and the priests are the people who serve and minister to God.
Why does the order of Aaron have to be renewed to the order of Melchizedek?
- Because Jesus arose from the tribe of Judah. According to the order of Aaron, only the person arising from the tribe of Levi might be the high priest.
Hebrews 7:11-15
7:11 Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron?
7:12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.
7:13 For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar.
7:14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
7:15 And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest
Not only the tribe of Levi, but also the tribe of Judah, even not only the house of Israel, but also the Gentiles may be the priests.
- Because Jesus is the High Priest forever and He cannot be changed by anyone.
Hebrews 7:16-17, 23-24
7:16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life.
7:17 For He testifies: "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek."
7:23 Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing.
7:24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.
According to the order of Aaron, a high priest could be changed. It must be a lesson for us that we become the servant of God forever until the end, there is no retirement.
- Jesus is a perfect High Priest, so He is able to sanctify and perfect us.
Hebrews 7:25-26
7:25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
7:26 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;
Exodus 19:619:6 'And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel." Actually, only the house of Israel and the descendants may be the priests and kings.
1 Peter 2:9-102:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
2:10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.According to the Law, the Gentiles cannot become the priests and kings because of the genealogy. According to the order of Melchizedek, God opens the way through His mercy or grace that costs the sacrifice of Christ, so the Gentiles may be the priests and kings.
Thus, the service and ministry to God cost the precious blood of Jesus that cannot be traded by anything.
Leaving the service and ministry to God means despising the blood of Jesus or having the debt of blood that cannot be paid by anything, even one will perish forever.
Exodus 29:1a29:1 "And this is what you shall do to them to hallow them for ministering to Me as priests: The requirement to become priests and kings is holiness.
How can we live in holiness?
John 15:315:3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.We can be sanctified by the Word that is spoken by Jesus Himself, namely the Word that is revealed through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible as the revelation of God or the true teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.
Proverbs 7:2-37:2 Keep my commands and live, And my law as the apple of your eye.
7:3 Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart. The true teaching Word is the same as the apple of eye. Serving and ministering to God without the true teaching Word means being blind, not knowing the direction, even falling to a deep pit and perishing forever.
The sanctification done by the sword of the Word of God is as follows.
- The sanctification to the heart and mind that are full of evil and unclean lusts.
Matthew 5:27-28
5:27 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’
5:28 "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
The evil lusts mean the love of money or the money is bound in the heart. It causes stinginess and greediness. The unclean lusts aim at the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
Proverbs 7:2-3
7:2 Keep my commands and live, And my law as the apple of your eye.
7:3 Bind themon your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.
If our heart and mind are sanctified from the evil and unclean lusts, the Word will be bound in them, so that we can live according to the Word and in the light.
- The sanctification to the right eye to make us see Jesus on the right side of Father God.
Matthew 5:29
5:29 "If your right eyecauses you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Exodus 2:12
2:12 So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
Looking this way and that way means the ministry to God only with seeing human. Consequently, there will be hatred without any cause and covering the rottenness. In addition, the wife of Lot looked behind her. It means looking at the worldly things.
- The sanctification to the right hand to result in right, good, holy deeds.
Matthew 5:30
5:30 "And if your right handcauses you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
- The sanctification to the characteristics, namely from the self-truth or the truth that is not in line to the Word of God and covering the sin by blaming others and the Word of God.
Matthew 5:31-32
5:31 "Furthermore it has been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’
5:32 "But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.
The self-truth is the source of divorce in the marriage or household and the body of Christ.
- The sanctification to the mouth until it honestly saying “yes” if yes and “no” if no.
Matthew 5:33, 37
5:33 "Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.’
5:37 "But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
Malachi 2:7
2:7 "For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, And people should seek the law from his mouth; For he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
As a result, we can be used by God to give answer to the world in the last days.
Ephesians 4:11-124:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, If we are sanctified, we will be equipped with the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit. We are used in the ministry for building the body of Christ.
Revelation 1:191:19 "Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.
For example, John was used to write the epistles for the seven churches of the Gentiles to show their weaknesses or blemish, so that they could be sanctified and perfected.
The ministry for building the body of Christ is the same as the ministry in the vineyard that is brought up by the Bride Tidings.
There are three things that must be heeded in the ministry in the vineyard as follows.
- Characteristics.
Matthew 20:11-12, 15
20:11 "And when they had received it, they complained against the landowner,
20:12 "saying, ‘These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’
20:15 ‘Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’
There are two bad characteristics as follows.
- Complaining and disputing. It means dissatisfaction because the flesh always insists and there is no obedience in it.
Philippians 2:14-15
2:14 Do all things without complaining and disputing,
2:15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
It means that the star does not shine, but falls. In such condition, there is no perfection. Let us work in the vineyard with giving thanks always, regardless of anything we have to sacrifice for God because we can serve and minister to Him only by the sacrifice of Christ.
- Envy.
It happens because of the blessings of God or ministering to Him only to look for physical things.
It also happens because of the gifts of Holy Spirit and ministries or the employment of God.
1 Corinthians 3:3-4
3:3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
3:4 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal?
The envy will cause strife and divisions, even conspiracy that will divide the body of Christ.
Complaining and envy mean not appreciating the mercy of God.
- Wage.
The wage of working in the vineyard is a denarius. It is the grace and justice of God.
Revelation 6:5-6
6:5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.
6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."
A denarius is for passing through the physical and spiritual famine in the last days. It is enough to preserve us abundantly.
- Fruits.
The vineyard must produce the sweet grape fruits.
John 15:1, 3-4
15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
15:3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
15:4 "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
The requirement to bear the fruits is the branch must abide in the True Vine. It means as follows.
- We must be shepherded to one true teaching Word or persevere in the sheepfold in doing three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service.
- There must be a relationship with God, namely in holiness and faithfulness.
As a result, God will trust the sweet grape fruits to us. He will preserve and plead us.
Nevertheless, the grape fruits must be squeezed to produce the sweet wine for entering the marriage supper of the Lamb. It means the suffering in the flesh together with Jesus or the sprinkling of blood to result in the renewal.
Proverbs 23:27
23:27 For a harlot is a deep pit, And a seductress is a narrow well.
If one does not want to enter the winepress, he will fall in the deep pit of the harlot or the woman of Babylon.
The sweet wine is the renewal to the mouththat can be tasted.
The facts found in the sweet wine are as follows.
- The mouth only confesses the sin and forgives the sin of others.
Acts 7:54-55, 60
7:54 When they heard these things they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth.
7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,
7:60 Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not charge them with this sin." And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
- The mouth testifies about the true teaching Word.
Acts 7:51-52
7:51 "You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.
7:52 "Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers,
- The mouth can worship God.
Acts 7:59
7:59 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."
As a result, Jesus stands on the right hand of Father God or He becomes the High priest who honors and appreciates us. It means as follows.
- The merciful hand of God is able to use us in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain and give beautiful and successful future life to us in time of need.
- The merciful hand of God is able to help us in time of need.
- The merciful hand of God is able to sanctify and change us until we are perfect and worthy to welcome Jesus’ second coming.
God blesses us.
