Matthew 25:14-15
It is only because of
God's mercy and justiceif we can minister Him, seeing that we are formerly sinful men.
We have to account for the priest's offices we have received at the time of Jesus' second coming.
Positive attitude to the talent was shown by the servant receiving five talents and two talents.
Negative attitude to the talent was shown by the servant receiving one talent.
Matthew 25: 16-17, 20-2125:16 "Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.
25:17 "And likewise he who had received two gained two more also.
25:20 "So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, 'Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.'
25:21 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
The positive attitude to the talent or ministry is real through being faithful and good, being faithful and wise, being faithful and fervent in spirit, being faithful and sincere/honest. All of them have been discussed in the previous devotion.
Luke 17:817:8 "But will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink'?
Isaiah 11:511:5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist. The other positive attitude to the talent or ministry is
ministering with girding ourselves with the belt of FAITHFULNSS and RIGHTEOUSNESS.Both of them cannot be separated.
Being righteous means as follows:- Living in righteousness.
All aspects in life must be in righteousness, there is no sin.
- Holding fast to the true teaching Word, not being deceived by false teaching.
1 John 3:73:7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
The peak happens when we are righteous as Jesus is.
Luke 17:817:8 "But will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink'?
Ministering faithfully and righteously as girding ourselves equals to
giving Jesus food or satisfying or pleasing Him.As a result,
He will satisfy uswith the real joy or satisfaction nothing may influence so we will not fall into the satisfaction from the world leading to sins up to the peak, i.e. sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage. Having no satisfaction, one will murmur a lot.
Ministering
without being faithful and righteous, one will not satisfy God. God cannot consume the offering and the one will
be vomited by God, being thrown away to the outer darkness. Firstly a pastor must be faithful and righteous.
Revelation 19:1119:11. Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
Ministering faithfully and righteously, God will employ us in the revival of white horse, the revival of Holy Spirit at the last rain or the revival of building the perfect Christ's body.
The revival of building Christ's body is the abundance comes out of the shepherding.
Revelation 6:1-26:1. Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, "Come and see."
6:2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
Habakkuk 3:8-9,113:8 O LORD, were You displeased with the rivers, Was Your anger against the rivers, Was Your wrath against the sea, That You rode on Your horses, Your chariots of salvation?
3:9 Your bowwas made quite ready; Oaths were sworn over Your arrows. Selah You divided the earth with rivers.
3:11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation; At the light of Your arrows they went, At the shining of Your glittering spear.
The rider of the white horse is the Lord Jesus.
The bow is Holy Bible with its sixty six books.
The arrows are the verses in Holy Bible.
The light of the arrows is the revelation of God's Word through a verse explaining another verse or
the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ preaching about Jesus' second coming as King of kings or Heavenly Bridegroom in His glory to sanctify His Church to become His Bride.
2 Corinthians 4:3-44:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
It is also called as teaching Word or Bride Tidings.
All preaching of the Word must lead the Church of God to become His Bride, must lead to Bride Tidings.
In Old Testament, it was as the sheaves of Joseph's brothers which bowed down to Joseph's sheaf.
Genesis 37:5-737:5. Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.
37:6 So he said to them, "Please hear this dream which I have dreamed:
37:7 "There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf."
The Bride Tidings is not the possession of one church only but of all churches because all about it is written in Holy Bible.
In short, the revival of Holy Spirit at the last rain equals to
the revival in teaching Word/Bride Tidingsto unite, to sanctify and to perfect the Church of the Lord until Israelites and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming.
The teaching Word is able to unite us as Joseph's brothers who could be united to Joseph because of the grain or wheat, referring to the Word.
Hebrews 4:12-134:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Bride Tidings is as the Word sharper than any two edged sword to sanctify our whole life, beginning with these things:
- Heart, that is the place to hide sins.
Matthew 15:19
15:19 "For out of the heart proceed (1) evil thoughts, (2) murders, (3) adulteries, (4) fornications, (5) thefts, (6) false witness, (7) blasphemies.
Having the seven wicked and unclean lusts, the sons of God become wicked and unclean until they become the bride of Satan.
- Joint.
It is the relationship between bones, referring to the relationship with our neighbors.
1 Corinthians 3:3-4
3:3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisionsamong you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
3:4 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal?
We are sanctified from jealousy (in marriage), hatred or envy and strife.
Not being sanctified, such things will develop to become anger, self-interest up to the sexual sins destroying Christ's body.
2 Corinthians 12:20-21
12:20 For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and that I shall be found by you such as you do not wish; lest there be contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults;
12:21 lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and I shall mourn for many who have sinned before and have not repented of the uncleanness, fornication, and lewdness which they have practiced.
- Mouth
Psalm 149:6
149:6. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,
It must be used in order to glorify God only and to become blessing for other people until we does not stumble in word someday but only cry "Alleluia."
James 3:2
3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
Revelation 19:11,13,1619:11. Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
19:13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
19:16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
The rider is Jesus.
The robe is the Word of God.
The inscription in the robe is King of kings or Heavenly Bridegroom.
Revelation 19:6-719:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
Thus, the revival of Holy Spirit at the last rain in the Bride Tidings will
result in the robe of Bridewhich Jesus has shown on the mountain; bright and white garment.
Formerly, the tunic of Aaron, the high priest, was of woven fine linen thread.
Exodus 28:39a28:39 " You shall skillfully weave the tunic of fine linen thread, The bright and white garment equals to the woven fine linen or
the garment in the anointing of Holy Spirit. Meaning
we will live in the anointing of Holy Spirit if we live holily by the work of the teaching Word, so our spiritual eyes will be opened to see these things:
- The Lord Himself in the revelation of God's Word.
In such condition, the pastor can receive the revelation of God's Word and the congregation may understand.
Seeing the revelation of the Word, we can live holily with peace so we can worship God and receive heavenly joy.
- Seeing ourselves and other people.
We see ourselves as dust or clay which has many weaknesses and needs the mercy of God or the correction coming from His Word. We see ourselves who is powerless so we always need Him. Besides, we see other people who need help from us.
- Seeing Satan with all His tricks which will fall us down through sins, false teachings, et cetera.
Satan uses position, wealth, sexual sins and the lusts of flesh and lies to fall down the sons of God.
Having the opened spiritual eyes, the eyes of High Priest will see toward us and here are the results:- Jesus appears as High Priest who is faithful and full of mercy.
Hebrews 2:17-18
2:17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithfulHigh Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
2:18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
- To reconcile and forgive our sins. Afterward, do not sin anymore.
- To settle all problems in time of need even the impossible one.
- Jesus appears as High Priest who is faithful and fulfills His promise.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
5:23. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
5:24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
- To preserve our lives (our body, soul, and spirit) in the middle of this difficult world.
- To sanctify our body, soul, and spirit to become perfect as Jesus is, to become His Bride who is ready to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.
2 Timothy 2:132:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. The Lord gives the faithless a chance to return to the righteousness and faithfulness.
Zechariah 8:38:3 "Thus says the LORD: 'I will return to Zion, And dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, The Mountain of the LORD of hosts, The Holy Mountain.'
The Lord leads us to return to the Faithful City, that is to say New Jerusalem.
God blesses you.
