Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 27 refers to seven sprinklings of blood upon the Ark of the Covenant. Meaning the suffering Jesus experiences until He dies on the cross to save, sanctify, and perfect us.
There are seven passages in Matthew 27 that refer to the seven sprinklings of blood. We are learning the seventh one, namely
Pilate Sets a Guard.
Matthew 27:62-6627:62 On the next day, which followed the Day of Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate,
27:63 saying, "Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise.’
27:64 "Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night and steal Him away, and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead.’ So the last deception will be worse than the first."
27:65 Pilate said to them, "You have a guard; go your way, make it as secure as you know how."
27:66 So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard. The chief priests and Pharisees make the tomb of Jesus secure, seal the stone, and set the guard of Pilate to hinder His resurrection. The chief priests and Pharisees refer to the servants or sons of God who reject the resurrection power of Jesus.
There are three kinds of Jesus’ resurrection power as follows.
- Resurrection power in the true teaching Word.
John 5:24
5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My wordand believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
It refers to the Table of Showbread in Tabernacle, meaning Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
- Resurrection power in Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:11
8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spiritwho dwells in you.
It refers to the Golden Candlestick in Tabernacle, meaning General Service.
- Resurrection power in God’s love.
1 John 3:14
3:14. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we lovethe brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.
It refers to the Golden Altar of Incense in Tabernacle, meaning Prayer Service.
Thus, the servants or sons of God who reject the resurrection power are rejecting the shepherding.
1 Corinthians 15:13,3215:13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.
15:32 If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beastsat Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!" Consequently, they live as the beasts following the instinct or lusts of flesh until sin up to the peak of sin, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
1 Corinthians 15:35-3915:35. But someone will say, "How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?"
15:36 Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies.
15:37 And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain––perhaps wheat or some other grain.
15:38 But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.
15:39 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds. There are three kinds of beast causing the servants or sons of God to appear as the beast as follows.
- birdsor the great, fiery red dragon in the air.
Revelation 12:3
12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
Ephesians 2:2
2:2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
Meaning Satanwith unclean and wicked spirits that works in the sons of disobedience.
Hebrews 10:25-27
10:25 not forsaking the assemblingof ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
10:26 For if we sin willfullyafter we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
10:27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
The facts found in the sons of disobedience (the beast) are as follows.
- Forsaking the service and ministry to God, meaning being unfaithful even leaving them.
It begins from habit that one does not serve and minister to God without feeling guilty.
Moreover, it becomes intentional sin that one does not serve and minister to God although he has time and opportunity, even he rejects to minister to God. Consequently, there will be no forgiveness but perdition forever.
Jesus’ resurrection power is able to encourage us to be faithful and fervent in spirit doing our service and ministry and to use every opportunity, although it is only a small as the needle hole, to serve and minister to God.
- Disobedience to the true teaching Word.
1 Samuel 15:22-23
15:22 Then Samuel said: "Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.
15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king."
Disobedience means idolatry.
For example, King Saul is disobedient because of using his logic, not the faith.
Matthew 7:21-23
7:21. "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
7:22 "Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
7:23 "And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Disobedience means ministering and worshiping to Satan. Consequently, one is chased out of by God.
We must pay expensive price for being obedient to the true teaching or shepherding Word but the price will be more expensive if we disobey it.
Saul is disobedient until he is rejected by God although the people receive and glorify him.
Now other servants or sons of God even the family may put an enmity against the obedient person, but God receives him.
The resurrection power of Jesus is able to make us faithful and obedient whatever risk we have to face.
Revelation 3:7-8
3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":
3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. “
If we are obedient, we will receive the key of David, namely the mercy and kindness of God none may prevent, so the doors in the world can be opened and the door of heaven can too.
We have the ambience of heaven with joy, preservation, solution of all problems even the impossible one, and beautiful future life.
The more the doors in the world are closed, the more God’s mercy and kindness are poured in our life to open the doors widely. It continues until someday the heavens are opened widely and we are lifted up on glorious clouds to be with Him forever.
- ANIMALS or the beast coming up out of the earth.
Revelation 13:11
13:11. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.
It refers to the false prophetcausing the sheep to become dog and sow or illegitimate human.
The sheep hears the voice of the dragon or strange voice until it becomes dog and sow. Be alert! The voice of the dragon can come from near us. For example, Adam hears the voice of Eve; Eli, the priest, hears the voices of his sons; and Solomon hears the voices of his wives.
2 Peter 2:17-20,22
2:17 These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error.
2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.
2:20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
2:22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A dog returns to his own vomit," and, "a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire."
The fact found in the dog licking vomit is the vain saying which is not in line with the Word of God.
The fact found in the sow returning to the wallowing in the mire after being washed is sinful deed up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
Being as dog and sow, the condition of human will become as the woman of Canaan for sure as follows.
- There is destruction in marriage and children.
- There is no peace.
- There is great sorrow.
Mark 7:28-29
7:28 And she answered and said to Him, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children’s crumbs."
7:29 Then He said to her, "For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter."
The solution is through repentance, using the tongue to lick the crumbs of the revelation of God’s Word and Holy Communion, and enjoying the Shepherding Word until it becomes our flesh and blood. As a result, we are lifted up as the shepherded sheep to get an intensive sanctification. It begins from our mouth, so it can produce righteous, good and holy words. As a result, our worship prayer is heard by God and we can become the house of prayer. We get the ambience of heaven with the joy. Our prayer is answered by God and He removes all impossible things. Moreover, there is unity in our marriage until we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
- FISH or the beast rising out of the sea.
Revelation 13:1,17
13:1 And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.
13:17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
It refers to antichrist, whose power is in the spirit of selling-buying that rules over egoistic people as follows.
- The love of money.
1 Timothy 6:9-10
6:9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
6:10 For the love of moneyis a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
It means seeking money with all ways although not in line with the faith or the Word of God.
- Stealing the possession of God, namely tithes and offering.
John 12:5-6
12:5 "Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?"
12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.
- Selling and buying the ministry and gifts of Holy Spirit.
Acts 8:17-18,20
8:17 Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
8:18 And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money,
8:20 But Peter said to him, "Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!
Meaning the service and ministry are done to get money or not according to the priest’s office as it has happened to Judas Iscariot.
Philippians 2:8-112:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Jesus is not willing that human becomes as the beast and perishes. He is willing to be obedient until He must die on the cross to get the name above every name which is powerful to defeat the three kinds of beast.
The resurrection power in the name of Jesus is able to deliver us from the three kinds of beats, so we get the sanctification and life renewal from carnal man who is as the beast to spiritual one as Jesus is. It is the spiritual miracle which is the greatest one. The signs are as follows.
- It begins from our tongue that can cry the name of Jesus, meaning we can confess our sin, bear witness, and worship God.
- We can pursue the service and ministry with the characteristic of Jesus, namely righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
1 Timothy 6:11
6:11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
The physical miracle will also happen for sure if the spiritual one happens.
Acts 9:32-349:32. Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda.
9:33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed.
9:34 And Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed." Then he arose immediately. The resurrection power is able to make all things finished in our life. The bitter things which make our life become as sour wine have been born by Jesus on the cross. All things are finished until we can enter New Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:621:6 And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. God blesses you.
