Revelation 17:3-5
17:3. So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:4. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
17:5. And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Revelation 17:3-5 is about a woman that refers to the church of God or all of us. There are two kinds of the church of God as follows:
God blesses us.
Revelation 17:3-5
17:3. So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:4. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
17:5. And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Revelation 17:3-5 is about a woman that refers to the church of God or all of us. There are two kinds of the church of God as follows:
- A great harlot or the great Babylon, namely the false church who is in the wilderness of the world which is dry and barren. It refers to the crisis in all things both physically and spiritually. We must be watchful if we were fervent in the ministry and the spiritual thing, but now we are not. Such life will be destroyed with Babylon and the world forever.
A woman of Babylon sat on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The term 'sat' means being supported. The beast rising up out of the sea is the Antichrist. The Antichrist blasphemies the Tabernacle. It is the same as those who reject the true teaching Word, namely the Bride Tidings in the light of the Tabernacle.
Revelation 13:1,5-6
13:1. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.
13:5. And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.
13:6. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.
A woman of Babylon is the false church who is supported by the Antichrist with the power of riches, but rejects the true teaching Word or the purification.
The consequences are as follows:- Only touting or prioritizing the physical riches or blessing which are got by legalizing all ways including committing sin. The riches are just for themselves (Revelation 17:4). It refers to one who is selfish.
- Living in the sin of abomination, wickedness, and uncleanness. Babylon is the place of foxes and birds that refer to the wicked and unclean spirits. (Revelation 17:4).
- They drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus, and chased them, so they also fell into sin (Revelation 17:6). They were not holy anymore, so they could not be used by God.
17:6. I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.
That is why we must make effort to minister to God regardless of anything that happens such as weakness, sickness, et cetera, so we are not torn by the Antichrist.
Zechariah 5:5-11
5:5. Then the angel who talked with me came out and said to me, "Lift your eyes now, and see what this is that goes forth."
5:6. So I asked, "What is it?" And he said, "It is a basket that is going forth." He also said, "This is their resemblance throughout the earth:
5:7. "Here is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a woman sitting inside the basket";
5:8. then he said, "This is Wickedness!" And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth.
5:9. Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven.
5:10. So I said to the angel who talked with me, "Where are they carrying the basket?"
5:11. And he said to me, "To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base."
The Antichrist supports the false church with the increasing mammon, wickedness, and uncleanness that will become the wings of a stork, and it brings the false church to Shinar. It means becoming the woman of Babylon who lifts up the basket between earth and heaven. Being between earth and heaven refers to the hung life. The basket also refers to the peak of sin, namely sin of eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse). The darkness of basket--sin of eating-drinking--cannot be separated from the one of bed, namely sin of marrying-giving in marriage. We may not start the marriage by sinning, so our marriage is not hung.
The woman of Babylon or the false church will culminate to the great harlot, namely the peak of uncleanness. The great harlot is the mother or harlots of the earth. It refers to the perfection in evil and uncleanness. All of them and Babylon will be destroyed in an hour. - Only touting or prioritizing the physical riches or blessing which are got by legalizing all ways including committing sin. The riches are just for themselves (Revelation 17:4). It refers to one who is selfish.
- The woman as the light of the world like Jesus with the light of the sun, moon, and stars. It refers to the true and perfect church, namely the heavenly bride. She is given the two wings of a great eagle to be evacuated to the wilderness for three and a half years, and we are protected and taken care of by God through the true teaching Word and Holy Communion. From now on we must persevere in Bible Study Service and Holy Communion. There is no Antichrist in the wilderness that God prepares for His bride. We are protected and taken care of by God.
Revelation 12:1,14
12:1. Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
12:14. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
How can the church of God become the light of the world in the darkness of the last days? Approaching the second coming of Jesus, how can we become the light at night?
Romans 13:12-14
13:12. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
13:13. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
13:14. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
The church of God must put on the Lord Jesus Christ as the armor of light. It means that we receive the true water baptism. One who has died to sin or repented must be buried in the water with Jesus in the name of God the Father, Son of God, and Holy Spirit, and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life. As a result, the door of heavens is opened. We receive life in the light of righteousness.
Further, the church of God must be shepherded well and correctly. The Brazen Laver (water baptism) is at the Court of the Tabernacle. It means that we have already entered the door of Heaven. Further, we enter the Holy Place, namely the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God as follows:- The Golden Candlestick refers to the perseverance in committing the General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts. If we persevere, we will receive the light of the star up to perfection, namely a garland of twelve stars. The Golden Candlestick is the only light in the Holy Place. We need to persevere in General Service first, so we have the light to see the other tools in the Holy Place.
- The Table of Showbread refers to the perseverance in committing the Bible Study Servicewith Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ. In the Word and Holy Communion, we can test ourselves and confess our sin, so we are redeemed and set free by the blood of Jesus, and we receive the light of the moon. The more we persevere, the more we are set free from sin until we receive the perfect redemption, namely the moon under the bride's feet.
- The Golden Altar of Incense refers to the perseverance in committing the Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love. If we persevere, we will receive the increasing light and love up to perfection, namely the clothes of the sun.
Where do we receive the two wings of a great eagle?
James 1:19-22
1:19. So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;
1:20. for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
1:21. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
1:22. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Hebrews 5:11-12
5:11. of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
5:12. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.- We must be swift to hear and obey the true teaching Word. It is the same as receiving the wing of the Word of God.
Matthew 5:23-26
5:23. "Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
5:24. "leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
5:25. "Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
5:26. "Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny. - We must be swift to be reconciled to God and others. We confess our sin to God and others. Do not sin anymore after being forgiven! We must also forgive others' sin and forget it. As a result, the blood of Jesus takes away our sins, so we experience peace. We always experience the anointing of Holy Spirit. It is the same as receiving the wing of Holy Spirit.
How can we receive the two wings of a great eagle?- The swifter we hear and obey the true teaching Word, the swifter we are purified from the darkness of the sin on the last days, and our wing gets bigger.
Romans 13:13
13:13. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
The sins on the last days are revelry and drunkenness (sin of eating-drinking), lewdness and lust (sin of marrying-giving in marriage, namely the false marriage, infidelity, et cetera). We must also be purified from strife and envy. Envy means that one belittles God's blessing. If it continues, it will become hatred even hatred without a cause. One who is envious will hate the righteous without a cause.
Psalm 74:20
74:20. Have respect to the covenant; For the dark places of the earth are full of the haunts of cruelty.
Proverbs 20:20
20:20. Whoever curses his father or his mother, His lamp will be put out in deep darkness.
The violence in the words, deed, and attitude may not exist in the marriage. Husband, wife, and child must be purified. The parents love their child, and do not agree with their child who is false or chooses the way outside the Word. Agreeing the child who is false is the same as becoming the worst parents who do not have love but plunge him and themselves. - We must eat and drink Holy Communion along with the true teaching Word. The carcass refers to Jesus who dies on the cross. He is numbered with the transgressors.
Matthew 24:28
24:28. "For wherever the carcassis, there the eagles will be gathered together.
Isaiah 66:24
66:24. "And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh."
Why do we have to hear the true teaching Word before receiving Holy Communion?- We can do the introspection in our life, so we do not eat and drink Holy Communion habitually. If we eat and drink Holy Communion in the wrong way, we will indeed weaken our own physical and spiritual life. But, if we can do the introspection in our life, namely we confess our sin so we are forgiven, we will be worthy to receive Holy Communion, and we experience the new strength. We become strong and of good courage. It means that we do not get desperate and disappointed. We can follow and minister to God until the finish line even in shocks.
- The Word and Holy Communion are the true food that is able to satisfy men. In the past time, Adam and Eve were not satisfied by eating fruits, so they ate the trunk, leaf, root, animal, et cetera. But the Word and Holy Communion give the heavenly satisfaction, so we can always give thanks to God.
6:6. Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
If our godliness is with contentment, we will be able to give thanks to God, so the godliness is great gain, namely we receive the two wings of a great eagle.
Revelation 12:14
12:14. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
The two wings of a great eagle will evacuate us to the wilderness, far from the eyes of the serpent. We are close to the eyes of God.
Exodus 19:4
19:4. 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself.
The evacuation has been prophesied when the Israelites went out of Egypt. The two wings of a great eagle brought the Israelites to God.
James 4:8
4:8. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Drawing near to God is the same as living in holiness.
Psalm 62:1
62:1. Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.
Drawing near to God is the same as living in peace.
So, drawing near to God means that we can worship Him, so He also sees, remembers, and struggles for us.
Hebrews 12:14
12:14. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
2 Kings 4:32-36
4:32. When Elisha came into the house, there was the child, lying dead on his bed.
4:33. He went in therefore, shut the door behind the two of them, and prayed to the LORD.
4:34. And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm.
4:35. He returned and walked back and forth in the house, and again went up and stretched himself out on him; then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.
4:36. And he called Gehazi and said, "Call this Shunammite woman." So he called her. And when she came in to him, he said, "Pick up your son."
If we always worship God, He will always remember us. We see God with the sight of faith, and He will see us with the sight of mercy. Our mouth cries out to His name, and He says: "It is done!" We stretch out our hands to God, and He will stretch out His merciful hands to raise the thing that has already been dead. God is able to take care of and protect us in the midst of the difficulties and crises of the world. If the thing that has already been dead can be risen, God will surely be able to heal us and give beautiful future for us.
'the child sneezed seven times' means that we are purified and changed up to perfection like Jesus, so we are worthy to greet Jesus when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds. We say: "Alleluia". We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, the One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace, and the New Jerusalem forever. - We can do the introspection in our life, so we do not eat and drink Holy Communion habitually. If we eat and drink Holy Communion in the wrong way, we will indeed weaken our own physical and spiritual life.
