Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 19:919:9. Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'"And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
The marriage supper of the Lamb refers to the meeting between Jesus, who comes a second time in the glory as the King of all kings or the Heavenly Bridegroom, with the perfect church or the heavenly bride on the glorious clouds. This is the spiritual perfect marriage between Christ as the Heavenly Bridegroom with the church as the heavenly bride. It is the same as the ownership of the bridegroom. After that, we will enter the One Thousand Years Kingdom of Peace or the Future Paradise and the New Jerusalem or the eternal heavenly kingdom.
Thus, there is continuance after our life in the world, namely the end of life to enter the spiritual marriage and the eternal heavenly kingdom or the perdition in the hell forever. It depends on our life in the world.
Matthew 22:2322:23. The same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Him and asked Him,
The teachings of the Sadducees are false because they say that there is no resurrection of the death or there is no continuance after life in the world. It means that they do not want to be the bride of God. It is the same as the rejection to be the bride of God.
1 Corinthians 15:3215:32. If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!"
The consequence is that men appear as the beasts which only fulfill the passion or lust of the flesh until they commit sin up to the peak, namely the sin concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. Finally, they perish in the hell. The marriage is also to fulfill the fleshly lust. It is the false one.
Matthew 22:23-3322:23 The same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Him and asked Him,
22:24 saying: "Teacher, Moses said that if a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.
22:25 "Now there were with us seven brothers. The first died after he had married, and having no offspring, left his wife to his brother.
22:26 "Likewise the second also, and the third, even to the seventh.
22:27 "Last of all the woman died also.
22:28 "Therefore, in the resurrection, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had her."
22:29 Jesus answered and said to them, "You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.
22:30 "For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.
22:31 "But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying,
22:32 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'?God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."
22:33 And when the multitudes heard this, they were astonished at His teaching.Such marriage is described by the seven men with one woman.
Isaiah 4:14:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, "We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; Only let us be called by your name, To take away our reproach."The spiritual marriage is described by seven women or the churches on the last days with one man, namely Christ.
Exodus 2:15-162:15 When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well.
2:16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters. And they came and drew water, and they filled the troughs to water their father's flock. The spiritual marriage is also described by Moses with seven girls of Midian who belong to the Gentiles.
Revelation 1:10-131:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,
1:11 saying, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last," and, "What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to (1)Ephesus, to (2)Smyrna, to (3)Pergamos, to (4)Thyatira, to (5)Sardis, to (6)Philadelphia, and to (7)Laodicea."
1:12 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands,
1:13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. The spiritual marriage or the marriage supper of the Lamb refers to the meeting between the Son of Man or Jesus in the glory as the Heavenly Bridegroom with the seven churches of the Gentiles that they may get the last sanctification to be as perfect as Jesus is or to be His bride.
Revelation 3:14-173:14 "And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:
3:15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
3:16 "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
3:17 "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--The church of the Laodiceans or the last church on the last days is blessed physically by God, but they are lukewarm spiritually. They are neither hot nor cold. They are neither alive nor dead. Consequently, they are vomited by God. Their life is like the vomit which is disgusted, unclean, and separated from God until they perish forever.
Song of Solomon 5:25:2 THE SHULAMITE I sleep, but my heart is awake; It is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying, "Open for me, my sister, my love, My dove, my perfect one; For my head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night."The dew comes down late at night until it is near morning. Such time refers to the last days. The church at that time sleeps, but the heart is awake. It means that they do neither sleep nor wake up or they are lukewarm like the church of the Laodiceans.
God does not allow the church in such condition. He comes and knocks the door of the heart of the church until His head is covered with dew.
Deuteronomy 32:1-232:1 "Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; And hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
32:2 Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As raindrops on the tender herb, And as showers on the grass. The dew refers to the true teaching Word. There is the Gospel Word, the milk, or the Good News to bring the sinful people to believe in Jesus and get the salvation [Ephesians 1:13]. Moreover, there is the teaching Word, the solid food or the Bride Tidings [2 Corinthians 4:3-4] to sanctify the saved people until they are as perfect as Jesus is to be His beloved or Bride.
The levels of the teaching Word are as follows.
- The dew which is not known by many people.
- The drizzle on which some people start to response.
- The showers or the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain in the teaching Word.
Jesus knocks the door of our heart or the church at the last days with the teaching Word so that we will not spiritually be lukewarm. God is knocking the door of our heart when the true teaching Word shows our sins and condition.
He knocks the door of our heart because He longs for helping us from all of our weaknesses and perfecting us to be His bride who belongs to Him forever. This is the ownership of the bridegroom.
The matter that He knocks the door of our heart until His head is covered with dew [Song of Solomon 5:2] refers to His longsuffering and longing or the seriousness of His heart to help, sanctify, and possess us.
The repeated true teaching Word is the same as the repeated knocking to the door. It refers to His longsuffering and longing or the seriousness of His heart to help and sanctify us from the sins which bind us.
Our attitude or response towards the repeated preaching of the true teaching Word determines the destiny of our life whether we are helped or thrown away.
Song of Solomon 5:35:3 I have taken off my robe; How can I put it on again? I have washed my feet; How can I defile them? One who is hard-hearted in keeping the self truth or the truth which is not in line with the Bible will cover his sins by blaming others and God or the true teaching Word. In such condition, he will have
the wrong attitude towards the knocking of Godas follows.
- Getting angry or bored and blaming others or God when the repeated teaching Word shows the sins or condition.
- Being lukewarm or dull in opening the heart for God or the true teachings.
Song of Solomon 5:4-6
5:4 My beloved put his hand By the latch of the door, And my heart yearned for him.
5:5 I arose to open for my beloved, And my hands dripped with myrrh, My fingers with liquid myrrh, On the handles of the lock.
5:6 I opened for my beloved, But my beloved had turned away and was gone. My heart leaped up when he spoke. I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.
It happens until it becomes late. One cannot receive the true teaching Word anymore. The first become the last. The consequences are as follows.
- The life becomes empty because there is no true teaching Word or God Himself. There is no satisfaction of heaven, so one grumbles, murmurs, and seeks for the other satisfaction in the world. Moreover, the satisfaction of the world is brought to the church.
- Fainting. One does neither die to the old life nor live in the new life. He does not experience the renewal of life, so he keeps on being a man in flesh and blood who sins up to the peak of sin, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. He is not faithful in serving and ministering to God. His life is half dead.
Let us give response to the knocking of God fast with a meek heart. We quickly open the door of our heart for Him or the true teachings. As a result, the distance between us and God is only a step and the death cannot touch us.
1 Samuel 20:320:3 Then David took an oath again, and said, "Your father certainly knows that I have found favor in your eyes, and he has said, 'Do not let Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved.' But truly, as the LORD lives and as your soul lives, there is but a step between me and death."If one keeps hard-hearted, the distance between him and the death will only be a step.
Opening the door of the heart for God means as follows.
- Willingly receiving the sanctification.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
If we live in holiness, we will be equipped with the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit to be used in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the edifying of the body of Christ.
The ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit are the same as the beautiful tunic. The more we are used by God, the more beautiful life we have. It starts from the marriage, the shepherding, the inter-shepherding, up to the one perfect body of Christ between the Israelites and the Gentiles.
Matthew 6:27
6:27 "Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
We are sanctified until there is no worry, so we can give our time, energy, money, thought, and every step of our life to be used in the edifying of the perfect body of Christ.
- Opening the door of the heart for God is the same as closing the door of our room to pray and worship God.
Matthew 6:6
6:6 "But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
The heart to heart or private relationship with God happens when we can pour our heart to Him. We worship God with a broken heart and give our whole life with all of our weaknesses, sins, sufferings, destruction, impossibilities, and all things which have not been finished yet to Him.
2 Kings 4:5-6
4:5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out.
4:6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, "Bring me another vessel." And he said to her, "There is not another vessel." So the oil ceased.
As a result, God will pour Holy Spirit to us. The functions of the oil of Holy Spirit are as follows.
- Holy Spirit makes us faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God until the end, namely our physical death and the second coming of Jesus.
Romans 12:11
12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
- Holy Spirit sanctifies and changes us.
Romans 15:16
15:16 that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
We are changed from the characteristics of the Gentiles who are like the dog and swine. We are changed into the sheep or obedient life.
Zechariah 4:6-7
4:6 So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts.
4:7 'Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"'"
Holy Spirit is able to perform the physical miracle or finish all problems, even the impossible ones. We have the beautiful and successful future life.
The last miracle happens that we are changed to be perfect and able to welcome Jesus' second coming and enter the marriage supper of the Lamb, the One Thousand Years Kingdom of Peace and the eternal heavenly kingdom. We are possessed by God forever.
God blesses us.
