Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 22:2-422:2. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.22:3. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:4. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. The leaves of the tree of life refer to Jesus' body and blood for the healing of the nations.
It means purifying sins that have become characteristic.
The results are as follows:
- There shall be no more curse, so we experience the atmosphere of the throne of heaven [verse 3-4]. It means as follows:
- We can minister to God actively in the true ordination.
- We can see Jesus' face. It means worshiping Him.
- His name shall be on our foreheads. We belong to God forever.
- There shall be no night.
Revelation 22:5
22:5. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
John 11:10
11:10. "But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him."
Do not become a stumbling-block! Do not stumble or make others stumble!
The consequences are as follows:
- A millstone are hung around his neck, and he is drowned in the depth of the sea.
Matthew 18:6
18:6. "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
It means that one cannot worship God. He experiences the spiritual dryness and death as well as the dead ministry. He also experiences the physical deterioration and failure.
- Drowning in the sin of Babylon..
Revelation 18:21
18:21. Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore.
The sin of Babylon is the one of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage. It continues up to drowning in the lake of fire and brimstone or perdition in the hell forever.
1 Peter 2:6-82:6. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."
2:7. Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, "The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,"
2:8. and "A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense." They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed. We must have the cornerstone, so we are set free from the stumbling-block.
The cornerstone refers to Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
The facts of having the cornerstone are as follows:
- The cornerstone is linked with the salvation--the gate of the Tabernacle.
Psalm 118:19-23
118:19. Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the LORD.
118:20. This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous shall enter.
118:21. I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation.
118:22. The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.
118:23. This was the LORD'S doing; It is marvelous in our eyes
If we enter the gate of the Tabernacle, we will be saved.
John 3:16-17
3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
3:17. "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Romans 10:17
10:17. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The fact of having the cornerstone is having faith or trusting Jesus by hearing the Word which is anointed by Holy Spirit. It is the miracle of God, so we will experience the others miracle.
The preaching of the Word of God depends on the anointing of Holy Spirit both for the preacher and the congregation. It does not depend on riches, intelligence, position, et cetera.
John 3:34
3:34. "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.
God pours out Holy Spirit that cannot be limited by riches, intelligence, position, et cetera. It is given to whom God has sent to speak His Word. It is also given to the congregation who hears the Word of God.
The right attitude in the preaching of the Word of God is as follows:
- 'Open to me the gates of righteousness' means the supplication prayer.
Psalm 118:19-20
118:19. Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the LORD.
118:20. This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous shall enter.
It means that the servant of God must open his heart and mouth in the anointing of Holy Spirit to preach the Word of God according to God's will.
For the congregation, they must open their ear and heart in the anointing of Holy Spirit to hear the Word with a yearning and need that cannot be replaced by anything like a baby who needs milk.
Further, we can understand and believe in the Word or God Himself, so it becomes faith in our heart. It is the same as being saved.
- Giving thanks to God.
Psalm 118:21
118:21. I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation.
Having the faith, we will experience the heavenly satisfaction in the heart. It is the fact that we are saved.
We can give thanks and testify.
Psalm 107:18
107:18. Their soul abhorred all manner of food, And they drew near to the gates of death.
Not being satisfied or abhorring the Word, one will surely be destroyed.
- The cornerstone is linked with the grapethat refers to Jesus' blood.
Matthew 21:41-42
21:41. They said to Him, "He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons."
21:42. Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: 'The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD'S doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes'?
It refers to the Altar of Burnt Offerings.
In the Old Testament, the offering animals were slain and burnt on the Altar of Burnt Offerings for the forgiveness of sin. In the New Testament, Jesus as the lamb of God dies on the cross for the forgiveness of sin.
John 19:28-30
19:28. After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!"
19:29. Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.
19:30. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
Jesus bears and finishes all of sins and its curses until He dies on the cross.
The fact of having the cornerstone is repenting or finishing the sin. We are dead to sin. Having the sin, one will surely have a stumbling-block.
The process of finishing the sin is confessing it to God and others with the encouragement of the Word that shows our sins. Do not sin anymore after being forgiven! We also forgive others' sin and forget it.
As a result, the blood of Jesus finishes all of our sins up to there is no remnant of our sin anymore as if we had never sinned.
Psalm 32:1
32:1. <<A Psalm of David. A Contemplation.>> Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.
We experience the heavenly bliss. We drink the sweet wine up to the sweetest one in the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
- The cornerstone is linked with Jesus' name.
Acts 4:11-12
4:11. "This is the 'stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.'
4:12. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
It starts from the true water baptism--the Brazen Laver.
The true water baptism is the one that is in line with the Word, and we are baptized as Jesus is.
Matthew 3:15-16
3:15. But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.
3:16. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
Romans 6:4
6:4. Therefore we were buriedwith Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raisedfrom the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Matthew 28:19
28:19. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Acts 19:5
19:5. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
One who has died to sin or repented must be buried in the water with Jesus in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, namely the Lord Jesus Christ, and come out or rise from water with Him, so the heavens are opened to receive Holy Spirit.
Song of Solomon 1:3
1:3. Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your name is ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you.
It refers to the Door of Tabernacle. It means the fullness of Holy Spirit or Holy Spirit baptism.
John 3:3-5
3:3. Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
3:4. Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
3:5. Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
The fact of having the cornerstone is being newly born from water and the Spirit or baptized in water and Holy Spirit.
Ezekiel 11:19-20
11:19. "Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
11:20. "that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
As a result, we have the new life and heart, namely obedience. It is the strong base to receive God's blessing physically and spiritually as well as the one for our household.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2,8
28:1. "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
28:2. "And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:
28:8. "The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
1 Peter 3:21-22
3:21. There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
3:22. who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.
It is the strong base to be lifted up physically and spiritually.
It means that we are glorified in the world, and we are used in the ministry to glorify God up to the throne of heaven.
Revelation 22:5
22:5. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
- The cornerstone is linked with the building of the body of Christ.
1 Peter 2:5-6
2:5. you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
2:6. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."
It refers to the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place
The requirement is having perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12. for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
If we are holy, we will be equipped with the ministry and gift to be used in the building of the body of Christ, starting from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding until the Israelites and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ.
Being holy and faithful is the same as a branch that abides in the true vine, so we bear sweet fruits sooner or later. God is able to take care of us. We put Jesus as the Head.
The relationship between the Head and body is in the neck. It refers to the worship.
Matthew 21:43-44
21:43. "Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.
21:44. "And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder."
We must fall on the cornerstone and be broken. It means appreciating Christ's sacrifice, so we can worship God with a broken heart.
Psalm 34:17-19
34:17. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.
34:18. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
34:19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
As a result, not one of His bones shall be broken. It means that we experience the power of resurrection that is able to give victory over the enemies. God finishes all of impossible problems as well as give peaceful heart. He delivers us from afflictions, so our life becomes successful and beautiful in His time.
Matthew 10:30
10:30. "But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
'the very hairs of your head are all numbered' means that we experience the power of protection in the midst of the difficulties of the world.
Revelation 21:4
21:4. "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
There shall be no more tears. It means experiencing the renewal of life to become strong and of good courage. We keep ministering God faithfully and fervently. We hold fast to the true teaching Word and obey it. We do not commit sin anymore. We keep trusting and hoping God. We worship Him until we are changed to become as perfect as He is.
God blesses us.
