Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 27 refers to the sprinkling of blood.
The whole Matthew 28 refers to shekinah glory or the light of glory.
Thus, there is resurrection and glory behind the cross or death experience.
Matthew 28:1-228:1. Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
28:2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.Mary Magdalene and the other Mary are faithful in enjoying the cross or the death experience, so they experience the resurrection and glory together with Jesus.
Following Jesus only to get physical things, the faith has not been tested because such person will be disappointed facing temptations or problems. Moreover, he will depart from the faith and perish forever.
On the contrary, if our following to Jesus begins from the cross or the death experience and we keep on being faithful and solemn, our faith will grow to become hope and love.
1 Corinthians 13:12-1313:12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. The faith, hope, and love are three eternal things bringing us to eternal glory, namely we can see Jesus face to face on glorious clouds and enter eternal heavenly kingdom.
The facts found in the experience of death, resurrection, and glory are as follows.
- The death experience refers to the Court of Tabernacle.
1 Peter 2:21-24
2:21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
2:22 "Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth";
2:23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness––by whose stripes you were healed.
The facts found in it are as follows.
- [verse 22] Being dead to sin or repenting.
We have to repent anywhere, anytime, and in any condition. It begins from not lying.
Jeremiah 9:5
9:5 Everyone will deceive his neighbor, And will not speak the truth; They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They weary themselves to commit iniquity.
Keeping the lie means a laziness to repent even unwillingness until someday one cannot repent again as Satan who will perish.
- [verse 23] Not repaying evil for evil but good for evil.
Do not repay evil for evil, or else one becomes as Satan who will perish.
- Resurrection experience together with Jesus, referring to the Holy Place of Tabernacle.
1 Peter 2:24-25
2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness––by whose stripes you were healed.
2:25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
The facts found in it are as follows.
- Living for or in righteousness.
Meaning all aspects of our life must be righteous. The measure of the righteousness is the accordance to the Word. If we are righteous, we will feel the peace, quietness, and assurance. All things will become easy and light.
Isaiah 32:17
32:17 The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.
It is indeed hard for our flesh to be righteous but our life becomes easy and light. Moreover, we can be lifted up on the glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time.
- Prioritizing or fighting for the service and ministry more than all things in the world. We can be faithful and fervent in spirit doing our service and ministry to God.
Colossians 3:1-2
3:1. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
As a result, we get the firstborn right, namely spiritual blessings and physical ones as well as the right to enter heavenly kingdom.
Being unfaithful in the service and ministry means being a fornicator like Esau who always sacrifices spiritual things such as service and ministry to God to get physical things. The physical things may be gotten but one loses the firstborn right and lives in curse and tears.
- [1 Peter 2:25] Being shepherded to the true teaching Word as a branch that dwells in the true Vine. Meaning we are cleansed or sanctified intensively and continually. Moreover, we persevere in doing three main services to God in the sheepfold or the Holy Place as follows.
- Golden Candlestick, referring to the perseverance in doing General Service.
- Table of Showbread, referring to the perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense, referring to the perseverance in doing Prayer Service.
If we have the sanctification and perseverance in the sheepfold, we will experience the resurrection power of Jesus for sure.
The result is as follows.
- The power of Jesus’ stripes is able to heal our physical diseases in our body and economy or spiritual ones such as sin, bitter heart, et cetera.
1 Peter 2:24
2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness––by whose stripes you were healed.
We are healthy in our body and spirituality by the power of Jesus’ stripes.
- Physical and spiritual preservation of God until we shall not want.
1 Peter 2:25
2:25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
Physically, we are preserved abundantly until we can give thanks. God always provides what we need in due time. We live as if in the garden Eden that we only need to pick the fruits.
Spiritually, we experience the sweetness of life and joy until we can give thanks to God and we shall not want because there is no blemish anymore but we are perfect as Jesus is.
- Glory experience, referring to the Most Holy Place.
It means the renewal from carnal man to spiritual one as Jesus is. It is the greatest miracle.
1 Peter 4:12-14
4:12. Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trialwhich is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.
The process is through the sprinkling of blood, namely suffering in the flesh because of God together with Him. For example, fasting, long night prayer, being slandered, facing problems or temptations, et cetera.
Facing the sprinkling of blood or suffering in the flesh without any sin is as facing fiery trial. Our flesh is hurt at that time and we often cannot endure but God pours Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Glory [1 Peter 4:14]. As a result, we can endure it without murmuring, grumbling or blaming other people, but we can rejoice and give thanks in the suffering.
Afterwards, we get the life renewal from carnal man to spiritual one as Jesus is.
- Being sanctified from six outward sins.
Colossians 3:5-7
3:5. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: (1)fornication, (2)uncleanness, (3)passion, (4)evil desire, and (5)covetousness, which is (6)idolatry.
3:6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,
3:7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
- Being sanctified from six inward sins.
Colossians 3:8-9
3:8. But now you yourselves are to put off all these: (1)anger, (2)wrath, (3)malice, (4)blasphemy, (5)filthy language out of your mouth.
3:9 Do not (6)lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,
The six outward and inward sins must be burnt with the fiery trial or the sprinkling of blood and we will get the seven characteristics of Jesus as follows.
Colossians 3:10-14
3:10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,
3:11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.
3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on (1)tender mercies, (2)kindness, (3)humility, (4)meekness, (5)longsuffering;
3:13 bearing with one another, and (6)forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
3:14 But above all these things put on (7)love, which is the bond of perfection.
We can love God more than anything, even more than our own self, and other people as we love our own self.
The seven characteristics of Jesus are as the seven pillars in the house of God.
Proverbs 9:1
9:1. Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars;
The manifestation is being strong and of good courage.
For example, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego face the burning fiery furnace that is heated seven times more. It refers to impossible problems or temptations up to antichrist himself.
Daniel 3:17-18
3:17 "If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
3:18 "But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."
Being strong and of good courage means as follows.
- Keeping on holding fast to the true teaching Word.
- Keeping on living in righteousness and not sinning.
- Keeping on worshiping God, hoping in His mercy, fully believing in Him, and being patient waiting for His time.
Daniel 3:24-25
3:24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?" They answered and said to the king, "True, O king."
3:25 "Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."
Afterwards, Jesus, High Priest, in His glory (shekinah glory) descends in the midst of us to change the fiery trial to become the light of God’s glory.
The other example is the woman of Canaan who faces the problem of destroyed marriage and children. The Gentiles waiting for the time of God are as the dog sitting at its master’s feet to lick the crumbs. The crumbs refer to the revelation of the teaching Word and Holy Communion.
Licking the crumbs means perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion until we can enjoy consuming the true teaching Word, referring to we can hold fast to the true teaching Word and obey it.
If the dog’s tongue licks vomit, referring to lying, slandering, et cetera, there will be consequence, namely the destruction in marriage and children.
If we can lick the bread, we will be sanctified until we can say righteously, bear witness, and worship God.
In such condition, Jesus, High Priest, descends in the midst of us to change the impossible problem to become the light of glory to help the Gentiles. The result is as follows.
- High Priest with the light of glory is able to help us in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Meaning as follows.
- He preserves and protects us wonderfully in the midst of difficulties and impossibilities in the world until the time of antichrist’s reigning over the world and the judgment of hell fire comes.
- The High Priest with His light of glory is able to solve all our problems, even the impossible one, in time of need.
- He heals our destroyed marriage and children.
- The High Priest with the light of glory makes all things beautiful in its time.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
3:11. He has made everything beautifulin its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
- The High Priest with His light of glory exalts us in His time.
1 Peter 5:6
5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt youin due time,
Meaning as follows.
- All our failures and decrease will be exalted to become successful.
- We are employed in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
- We are sanctified and renewed until exalted on glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time to enter the kingdom of peace a thousand years and New Jerusalem.
God blesses you.
