Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:16-173:16 "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
3:17 "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--The church of the Laodiceans or the one in the last days is lukewarm. It means that physically they are rich or do not need of anything, but spiritually, they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked or do not have anything. They are empty. They only prioritize physical things, but without being filled with the spiritual ones.
Consequently, they are vomited by God. They are useless, unclean, and separated from God forever.
Revelation 3:18-193:18 "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
3:19 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Therefore, God rebukes, advises, and chastens, so that the church of the Laodiceans or the one in the last days buy the heavenly treasure. There are three kinds of the heavenly treasure we must buy as follows.
- Gold refined in the fire.
- White garments to cover the nakedness.
- Eye salve.
We are still learning the first.
1 Peter 1:6-71:6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
1:7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,The gold refined in the fire refers to the pure, permanent, perfect faith to make us worthy to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.
How can we buy the gold refined in the fire?
2 Peter 1:5-81:5But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faithvirtue, to virtue knowledge,
1:6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,
1:7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
1:8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must try hard to get the perfect faith and fight for being increased in the faith up to the love through this process.
- Faithor believing in Jesus as the Only Savior. It refers to passing through the Gate of Tabernacle.
Romans 10:17
10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The true faith comes from hearing the Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
John 2:23-24
2:23 Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did.
2:24 But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men,
Be careful! The false teachings says that the faith is because of seeing. It is the brittle faith. It is one-sided because one believes in Jesus, but He does not commit Himself to him. Someday he will deny the Lord.
Luke 8:18
8:18 "Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him."
The positive attitude is hearing the Word seriously in the anointing of Holy Spirit with a need. We can understand and believe the Word, so it becomes faith in our heart. As a result, we enter the door of the heavenly kingdom and our faith is added until the perfection. The negative attitude is one hears the Word with fleshly power, namely intelligence, experience, and so on, without the anointing of Holy Spirit, so he criticizes the Word and gets bored and sleepy. Consequently, the Word does not become faith in the heart, even what he seems to have will be taken from him. His faith decreases until it is used up or he departs from faith and perishes forever.
- Virtue(= the Altar of Burnt Offerings).
2 Peter 1:5
1:5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,
It means the good deed related to the cross of sacrifice of Christ.
The good deed of the Lord is that Jesus willingly dies for redeeming our sins.
Our good deed is that we repent, stop sinning, and return to God or die to sin.
All other good deeds without the repentance will be useless and bring perdition.
Revelation 21:8
21: 8 "But the cowardly(1), unbelieving(2), abominable(3), murderers(4), sexually immoral(5), sorcerers(6), idolaters(7), and all liars(8) shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
We must repent from the eight sins that cause perdition. The beginning is the fear of something until there is no fear of the Lord, up to the lies.
Jeremiah 9:5
9:5 Everyone will deceive his neighbor, And will not speak the truth; They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They weary themselves to commit iniquity.
The liar lazily repent, even he does not want to repent, until he cannot repent. Consequently, his life is useless and he was born in vain.
- Knowledgeor the water baptism (Brazen Laver).
2 Peter 1:5
1:5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,
Philippians 3:10
3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
We know Jesus who has died and risen through the water baptism.
Romans 6:2, 4-5
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sinlive any longer in it?
6:4 Therefore we were buriedwith Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raisedfrom the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
6:5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,
The requirement of the water baptism is being dead to sin or repenting, especially from the eight sins that bury or drown us in the sea of fire and brimstone. The true water baptism is done that the person who has died to sin is buried or drowned in water with Jesus and raised with Him to get the new life, namely the heavenly life or the one in righteousness. It is the same as the salvation.
- Self-control(the Door of Tabernacle) or the fullness or anointing of Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 1:6
1:6to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,
Romans 8:13
8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Holy Spirit is able to put to death the fleshly desires, deeds, and saying, so we can control ourselves and be obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.
Romans 8:15
8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
The obedience is the beginning of being used by God and success. The door of the future life and the heavenly kingdom are opened. The Lord does not see our greatness or weakness, but our obedience.
- Perseverance.
- Godliness.
The perseverance cannot be separated from the godliness.
2 Peter 1:6
1:6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,
The perseverance means that something is done continually. It cannot be hindered.
The godliness is our attitude to present our life to God through the service to Him. It refers to the Holy Place of Tabernacle, namely the perseverance in doing the three main services to God in the shepherding pen as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Serviceto have the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts. The sheep is drinking.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communionto get the fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ. The sheep is eating.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Worship Prayer Serviceto get the fellowship with Father God in the love. The sheep is breathing.
We must persevere until the end, namely we pass away or Jesus comes a second time. We persevere until we reach the last shepherding pen, namely New Jerusalem, where there is no more tear.
Romans 5:4-5
5:4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
The results of the perseverance are as follows.
- We can endure in facing all things. We are neither disappointed nor hopeless. We are not moved. We do not doubt or leave God in facing all things, but keep faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God.
- We have the hope.
Hebrews 6:19
6:19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,
The hope is the same as the anchor that enters the Presence behind the veil or the Most Holy Place. It means hope to be same as Jesus and we do not lack or have blemish. We have abundant life physically and spiritually in the mercy of God, so we can always give thanks to God.
- Brotherly kindness. We love other people like we love ourselves.
- Love. We love other people, including our enemies.
2 Peter 1:7
1:7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
1 John 4:20-21
4:20 If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
4:21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
We can love God more than anything for sure. This is the work of faith or the perfect faith.
James 2:21-22
2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by workswhen he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
2:22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
For example, Abraham (the representative of the house of Israel) offered Isaac on the altar because he loved God more than anything.
James 2:25-26
2:25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by workswhen she received the messengers and sent them out another way?
2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Rahab (the representative of the Gentiles) got the opportunity to hear about God, believe, live in righteousness, and do the work of faith, namely hiding the two spies although she had to give her soul so that the house of Israel could enter Canaan. It means loving other people, including enemy. The Gentiles are used in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain for building the body of Christ. The requirement is being set free from the character of dog and swine or evil and uncleanness as well as worry.
Mark 11:1-2
11:1 Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples;
11:2 and He said to them, "Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose itand bring it.
God willingly uses the Gentiles, the colt that has been loosed from evil, uncleanness, and worry, in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
Matthew 6:31-32, 34, 33
6:31 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
6:32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
The Gentiles often worry about the daily and future life, so they cannot live in righteousness. They do not have the works of faith. Moreover, they are not faithful, but deny the Lord. Consequently, they cannot be used by God, but Babylon.
Mark 11:8
11:8 And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
The proofs of being set free from the worry to enter the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain are as follows.
- We can give our time, energy, money, thought, and whole life to the ministry for building the perfect body of Christ. Only the true teaching Word which we may not sacrifice.
- We prioritize the service and ministry to God or the heavenly kingdom more than anything in the world.
Matthew 6:33
6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
- We live in righteousness, regardless any risk we have to take.
The result of being used by God is the line of scarlet cord bound in the window.
Joshua 2:18-19
2:18 "unless, when we come into the land, you bind this line of scarlet cord in the windowthrough which you let us down, and unless you bring your father, your mother, your brothers, and all your father's household to your own home.
2:19 "So it shall be that whoever goes outside the doors of your house into the street, his blood shall be on his own head, and we will be guiltless. And whoever is with you in the house, his blood shall be on our head if a hand is laid on him.
It means that everyone must experience the redemption done by the blood of Christ.
Song of Solomon 4:3
4:3 Your lips are like a strand of scarlet, And your mouth is lovely. Your temples behind your veil Are like a piece of pomegranate.
We are set free from sin until our lips become like a strand of scarlet. It means that we can say the words of faith, namely honesty and testimony. The results are as follows.
- Salvation for all members of our household. Physically, we are saved from disaster. Spiritually, we are saved from sins.
- The sacrifice of Christ is able to preserve our life physically and spiritually.
Romans 8:31-32
8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
The blood of Jesus gives us victory over enemies and solves all problems up to the impossible ones.
- Breaking down the wall of separation between the house of Israel and Gentiles.
Ephesians 2:13-14
2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
The blood of Jesus unites us, beginning from our marriage.
Matthew 1:1, 5
1:1 The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:
1:5 Salmon begot Boaz by Rahab, Boaz begot Obed by Ruth, Obed begot Jesse,
Rahab was a harlot, but she receive the line of scarlet cord, so she could be used to receive Jesus' first coming.
How unclean and dirty we are as the Gentiles, we will be justified and sanctified until we are perfect to welcome Jesus' second coming if we receive the strand of scarlet cord.
God blesses you.
