Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 10:1-3
10:1. I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
10:2 He had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,
10:3 and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices.Jesus appears with the seven lights of glory to illuminate the weak men who will perish, so they can be perfect and worthy to welcome Jesus' second coming.
ad. 6.
He set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land.
It refers to the authority and power of Jesus to defeat the enemies.
The enemy in the sea is the antichrist with the power of Mammon that rules over the economy of the world.
Revelation 13:11
13:11. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.
The enemy on earth is the false prophets with the false teachings and lying spirit.
The Lord Jesus gives a warning to the disciples that they must be watchful of the leaven of false teachings.
Matthew 16:6
16:6. Then Jesus said to them, "Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees."
Mark 8:15
8:15.Then He charged them, saying, "Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod."
There are three kinds of leaven that destroys our life as follows:
- The leaven of the Pharisees. It refers to the false teachings which allow the divorce-remarrying to happen and destroy the marriage of men until they can neither enter the marriage supper of the Lamb nor welcome Jesus' second coming.
- The leaven of Herod. It means as follows:
- The false teachings which allow divorce-remarrying.
- The leaven of hatred or revenge.
- The leaven of arrogance or rejecting the true teaching Word.
- The leaven of the Sadducees.
Acts 23:8
23:8.For Sadducees say that there is no resurrection--and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.
The teachings of Sadducees do not believe that there is resurrection. It means not believing the resurrection of Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15:13,19
15:13. But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.
15:19. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.
As a result, the service and ministry are without the power of resurrection. Such service and ministry only show off the physical things such as money, intelligence, position, marriage partner, and so on.
The consequences are as follows:
- Not experiencing the true or heavenly satisfaction, but living in worries.
Matthew 6:31-32
6:31. "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
6:32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
- Being the most pitiable of all men.
1 Corinthians 15:19
15:19. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.
It means as follows:
- Being the Gentiles who do not know God.
- Not undergoing the renewal of life, but keeping on being the man of blood and flesh who does not inherit the heavenly kingdom.
1 Corinthians 15:50
15:50. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.
- Only committing sins up to the peak, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse as well as the ones concerning marrying-being given in marriage. Consequently, one returns to the days of Noah and Lot for being condemned by fire and brimstone in the hell forever.
Colossians 3:1-2
3:1. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. The true service and ministry to God are signified by the power of Jesus' resurrection. Jesus has been dead, raised, and ascended to heaven to be the High Priest who sits at the right side of the throne of Father God. Such service and ministry are ministered by Jesus Himself as the High Priest or Great Shepherd.
Thus, the true service and ministry to God are related to the heavenly throne and atmosphere until we truly enter the eternal heavenly kingdom.
The steps of the service and ministry to God with the power of Jesus' resurrection are as follows:
- We look for the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
Matthew 6:33
6:33. "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Looking for the kingdom of God is the same as looking for the righteousness.
The righteousness means as follows:
- The true teaching Word. It is written in the Bible or revealed by God through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible and obeyed.
- The Word which sanctifies. It is sharper than any two-edged sword.
John 17:17
17:17. "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
Thus, the true service and ministry to God look for the true teaching Word which sanctifies and perfects.
Ministering to God without the Word will cause labor like Martha's ministry. She was busy, but without hearing the Word. On the contrary, Mary sat at Jesus' feet to hear the revelation of the Word, choosing the best part.
The process of looking for the righteousness is as follows:
- Hearing the true teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit, so He helps us to hear it seriously with a need.
Hebrews 10:16
10:16."This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,"
Then, Holy Spirit helps us to understand the Word, so it is written on our forehead. We always remember the Word and God. He also remembers us and we become His.
- Holy Spirit helps us to believe the true teaching Word, so it is written in our heart to be the faith. After that, our mouth can confess sins to God (vertical) and others (horizontal).
Hebrews 10:17
10:17. then He adds, "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."
Then, God forgives and forgets all of our sins. We are justified and live in righteousness.
- Obeying the Word. The righteousness becomes permanent in our life.
Matthew 6:33
6:33. "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
As a result, all of our daily needs will be added by the cross of Christ, so we are always in surplus condition (+).
Psalm 37:25-26
37:25. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
37:26 He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.
God is able to preserve us up to our descendants and we become blessings for others until we have the eternal life.
2 Peter 3:13
3:13. Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
- We are not far away from the heavenly kingdom. It means that we have the atmosphere of the heavenly kingdom.
Mark 12:30-34
12:30. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment.
12:31 "And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
12:32 So the scribe said to Him, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He.
12:33 "And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."
12:34 Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." But after that no one dared question Him.
The service and ministry to God in the atmosphere of heaven are signified by the love to God (vertical) and the love to others (horizontal).
Having the love to Gods means that we can love Him more than anything. The proofs are as follows:
- Faithfulness and fervency in spirit in our service and ministry to God. We can prioritize Him more than anything and we do not want to be hindered by anything.
- Obedience.
1 Peter 1:22
1:22. Since you have purified your souls in obeyingthe truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
If we are obedient, we will get the sanctification. Our heart is sanctified from the will of evil or stinginess and greediness, the will of uncleanness, and the bitterness of heart. After the heart is sanctified, the deeds and words will also be sanctified. The words are sanctified until there is no lie anymore and we do not stumble in words.
Matthew 7:12
7:12. "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Having the love to others means that we can love other people like we love ourselves as follows:
- We must first do, say, and think to other people all things that we want them to do, say, and think to us.
- Do not owe anything, especially the sins. It is better to make peace, confess, and forgive sins one another.
Romans 13:8
13:8. Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
All debts of money and promise to others must also be finished.
Mark 12:34
12:34. Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." But after that no one dared question Him.
The result of having the atmosphere of the heavenly kingdom is that there are no more questions. It means that there are no more problems and tears until there is no tear in the New Jerusalem.
- Serving to God on the heavenly throne.
Revelation 22:3-4
22:3. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
All activities in the world only go towards the tomb.
The only activities which can reach the heavenly throne are the service and ministry to God.
The service to God on the heavenly throne is the same as looking at Jesus' face, talking to Him, stretching out our hands to Him, and worshiping Him.
John 4:23-24
4:23."But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
The true worship is encouraged by the true teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit, so we can look at Jesus' face and get the power of resurrection, namely the renewal of life from the despicable fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus is. The worship prayer moves us from the atmosphere of the world to the one of heaven.
Psalm 84:11
84:11. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.
Through the worship prayer, God is illuminating us with the sun of His love. The results are as follows:
- The shield of God's protection and preservation for our life.
We are protected from the fiery dart of the evil and sins up to the peak, so we keep righteous and holy.
We are protected from the false teachings and gossips. We keep on hearing and obeying the true teaching Word.
We are protected and preserved from the temptations in all aspects of life and the antichrist. We are evacuated to the wilderness, far away from the presence of the antichrist. We are preserved by the Word and Holy Communion and protected from the judgment of God which will come.
- God's mercy and goodness.
- The life renewal. We can be sincere or without any intent to get physical profit. We do not hope for reply.
Psalm 84:11
84:11For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.
The sincerity also means honesty.
We keep on being changed until we are as perfect as He is and worthy to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
