Matthew 25:31-3225:31. "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
25:32 "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherddivides his sheep from the goats. We still discuss about the shepherding to assure us because shepherded people may be divided to sheep and goat.
Jesus appears in these two appearances at the time of His second coming:
- As King of kings reigning on the throne of glory. We must become kings, namely those who defeat the sins, the flesh, and the world, so we may sit on the throne of glory.
- As Great Shepherd. We must appear as shepherded sheep.
We must be shepherded to true teaching Word. Those who are shepherded to the true teaching Word can be described as follows:
- A branch attaining to the True Vine. It will bear sweet fruits up to the last one, namely the Bride.
Not being shepherded or not having the true Vine, one is wandering and will become dry branch. Such branch can neither bear fruit nor live. It will be meant to be burnt only.
- A colt and a donkey which are bound to the true Vine.
Genesis 49:11
49:11 Binding his donkey to the vine, And his donkey's colt to the choice vine, He washedhis garments in wine, And his clothes in the blood of grapes.
A colt may not be bound to the old donkey, meaning a youth may not be bound to an old man and vice versa. All men must be bound to the true Vine.
A colt which is bound to the true Vine will have sanctification in order to be employed by Jesus in the revival at the last rain, namely the revival of building Christ's body to go toward New Jerusalem.
Not being shepherded means not having the true Vine. In such manner, one is wandering, and will become wild donkey, meaning unclean life, and wild life without regularity and politeness. Balaam, referring to false prophets, will ride on it to go toward curse and perdition.
1 Peter 5:35:3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;Shepherding system is the system of example. All of us must become examples in household, in shepherding, in office, and at school.
Jesus as Great Shepherd has become a perfect example for the sheep. Following the example of Jesus as Great Shepherd, the sheep will reach the throne of God's glory.
We just follow without seeking our own way. We follow the example of Jesus through the revelation of the true teaching Word.
There are three kinds of Jesus' example as the Great Shepherd related to Tabernacle as follows:- The example of His step in righteousness, referring to the Court of Tabernacle.
1 Peter 2:21-24
2:21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
2:22 "Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth";
2:23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed.
The example of His step refers to the step of death and resurrection. There is no other way to reach perfection but the way of death and resurrection.
The step of death and resurrection begins in water baptism.
Romans 6:2-4
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The water baptism is for a person who has been dead to sin, or has repented, that s/he may be buried together with Jesus in water to rise in new life, namely heavenly life.
We were born into the world in earthly body which is suitable only for living in the world. Therefore, we must have life renewal.
The facts found in heavenly life are as follows:
- Not sinning anymore.
1 John 3:7-9
3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
It has meanings as it is written in 1 Peter 2:22 as follows:
- Not lying anymore,
- Not repaying evil for evil but repaying good for evil.
Not sinning anymore means living in righteousness and holding fast to the true teaching Word.
- Cannot sin [1 John 3:9], referring to not being deceived by anything, or being righteous as Jesus is righteous.
Jesus was tested three times in the desert in order to make Him deceived from God's plan. He was hungry and ordered to change stones to become bread. We often consider the will of Satan as the will of God because it is in line with our will.
Righteous person will never be deceived by Satan.
1 Peter 2:24
2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed.
The result of living in righteousness is the power of Jesus' stripesto heal our physical and spiritual diseases so we have no spiritual dryness but we are fervent in spirit. Besides, there is healing power in our marriage which has been bitter.
- The example of Jesus' washing His disciples' feet or the example of holiness, referring to the Holy Place.
John 13:13-15
13:13 "You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
13:14 "If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
13:15 "For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
Jesus appears as a Shepherd we must follow, and as a Teacher teaching and sanctifying us.
John 15:3
15:3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
We are sanctified by the Word Jesus speaks, namely the Word which is revealed through a verse explain another verse. Such is the true teaching Word.
If we are shepherded to the true Vine, we will have an intensive sanctification, namely the sanctification from dirty feet.
John 13:10-11
13:10 Jesus said to him, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."
13:11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, "You are not all clean."
The sanctification from the dirty feet is as follows:
- The sanctification from feet that go toward evil.
Proverbs 4:27
4:27 Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.
The root of evil is the love of money. We must be alert because there are many people preaching the gospel or Bride Tidings who are bound to the money as follows:
- Being stingy, or unable to give.
- Being greedy, or seizing the rights of other people and the rights of God, namely tithes and special offerings.
- The sanctification from the sins concerning eating-drinking, and marrying-giving in marriage, referring to the woman of Babel.
Proverbs 5:5-9
5:5 Her feet go down to death, Her steps lay hold of hell.
5:6 Lest you ponder her path of life--Her ways are unstable; You do not know them.
5:7 Therefore hear me now, my children, And do not depart from the words of my mouth.
5:8 Remove your way far from her, And do not go near the door of her house,
5:9 Lest you give your honor to others, And your years to the cruel one;
It is especially for youth. You must be alert and shepherded well, so your feet may follow the example of Jesus.
Wickedness will surely be followed by uncleanness.
Hophni and Phinehas were the servants of God near the ark of the covenant of the Lord, referring to the relationship with Bride Tidings, but they lay with the women who assembled at the tabernacle also.
1 Samuel 4:4
4:4 So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from there the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, who dwells between the cherubim. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.
1 Samuel 2:22
2:22 Now Eli was very old; and he heard everything his sons did to all Israel, and how they lay with the women who assembledat the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
We must be careful because Satan targets the marriage. Men come into the world through physical marriage, and they will go out of the world through the spiritual marriage. If the physical marriage is destroyed, one cannot go out of the world.
Eli as the parent agreed the sin of his sons. Consequently, God insisted him also.
- The sanctification from strife, anger, and self-truth.
Romans 3:15-18
3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood;
3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
3:17 And the way of peace they have not known."
3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."
Being guilty but not confessing sins even blaming other people, one creates strife and mess.
1 Peter 1:22
1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
The feet must be firstly washed by Jesus, then we can wash one another, referring to loving one another with sincerity. It is impossible to love with sincerity if our feet have not been washed by Jesus.
Romans 13:8
13:8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
Nowadays we must love one another, and settle our debts of sin.
If we have settled all our sins, all problems will be settled also.
1 Peter 1:15-16
1:15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holyin all your conduct,
1:16 because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."
Besides, we become holy as Jesus is holy at the time we settle all our sins.
- The example of the image of God the trinity or the example of glory, referring to the Most Holy Place.
Genesis 1:26
1:26. Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
Formerly, God created men according to the pattern and image of God to become as glorious as He is [Genesis 1:26]. Afterward, the men became naked, and lost the glory of God. They were ashamed, and tried to cover their nakedness. If the sins are done continually, men will become as dogs and sows, and there is no more effort to cover the nakedness even they are proud of the sins. If this condition happens continually, they will become as Satan who cannot repent, and must be perished.
Matthew 16:21-23
16:21. From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
16:22 Then Peter took Him asideand began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"
16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."
Peter took Jesus aside, referring to the one who is not willing to be shepherded, and does not want to follow Jesus' example because of his arrogance and disobedience.
Peter turned from strong rock to stumbling-block, and he became as Satan who must be perished.
John 21:15
21:15. So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."
The solutions Peter got that he was helped by God are as:
- Entering into the sheepfold(Holy Place of Tabernacle).
There are three kinds of equipment in the Holy Place, referring to three times of Jesus' asking to Peter or three kinds of main services as follows:
John 21:18-19
21:18 "Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish."
21:19 This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me."
Through the shepherding system, Peter took the example of Jesus as Great Shepherd, so he could stretch his hand to God to the point of death.
Stretching our hand means as follows:
- Worshiping God or giving our whole life to Him or seeing His bright face as the sun.
Peter experienced the renewal so his heart was meek and full of God's love to be able to love God more than anything, and to love other people.
- Being obedient until sacrificing His life or until the flesh does not sound anymore.
John 14:15-17,21, 23
14:15. "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--
14:17 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you andwill be in you.
14:21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."
14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
Sometimes we obey the thing which is in line with our flesh will but we have to obey ALL God's commandments and there is the image of God the trinity again in our life.
- By Christ's sacrifice (Holy Communion).
Isaiah 52:13-14
52:13. Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.
52:14 Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage was marred more than any man, And His form more than the sons of men;
Jesus' face is glorious as sunshine but He was marred on the cross to bear the sins of men. He was willing to have marred face to shine sunshine to us so our marred face, referring to uncleanness, and our pale face, referring to fear, and our sad face, referring to sorrows, can be shined by the sun to become bright and glorious face as Jesus' face. We become His Bride who is ready to welcome His second coming on glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
