From Delayed Broadcast of Fellowship Service in Tentena-Poso
Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Psalm 17:817:8 Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,This is the prayer and longing of David as the king of Israel, the chosen people of God, to get the shadow of God's wings because of feeling powerless and facing the enemies or problems, especially the death, which is only but a step or a heart-beat with him.
Matthew 23:3723:37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! This is the answer of the prayer as well as the longing of God to give the shadow of His wings. Actually, it is only for the original Israelites or the chosen people of God. Nevertheless, because a part of Israel has been hard-hearted (stoning) or rejected the shadow of God's wings, the opportunity and mercy of God open for the Gentiles to receive the shadow of His wings. Ruth is the example.
Ruth 1:41:4 Now they took wives of the women of Moab: the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth. And they dwelt there about ten years.Ruth belongs to the Moabites or Gentiles. Moab refers to the descendants of Lot with his daughter or uncleanness.
Deuteronomy 23:323:3 "An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter the assembly of the LORD; even to the tenth generation none of his descendants shall enter the assembly of the LORD forever, They could not enter the assembly of the Lord. It means that they cannot get the shadow of God's wings. But, because a part of Israel has rejected the shadow of God's wings, the opportunity and mercy of God for the Gentiles to receive the shadow of His wings are open.
Ruth 2:10,12-13; 3:92:10 So she fell on her face, bowed down to the ground, and said to him, "Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?"
2:12 "The LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge."
2:13 Then she said, "Let me find favor in your sight, my lord; for you have comforted me, and have spoken kindly to your maidservant, though I am not like one of your maidservants."3:9 And he said, "Who are you?" So she answered, "I am Ruth, your maidservant. Take your maidservant under your wing, for you are a close relative." Ruth (the Gentile) gets the mercy of God to receive the shadow of His wings or the redemption.
Ruth 3:123:12 "Now it is true that I am a close relative; however, there is a relative closer than I.There are two kinds of redeemer as follows:
- The first redeemer who deserves more.
Ruth 4:5-8
4:5 Then Boaz said, "On the day you buy the field from the hand of Naomi, you must also buy it from Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to perpetuate the name of the dead through his inheritance."
4:6 And the close relative said, "I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I ruin my own inheritance. You redeem my right of redemption for yourself, for I cannot redeem it."
4:7 Now this was the custom in former times in Israel concerning redeeming and exchanging, to confirm anything: one man took off his sandal and gave it to the other, and this was a confirmation in Israel.
4:8 Therefore the close relative said to Boaz, "Buy it for yourself." So he took off his sandal.
But, the first redeemer could not redeem Ruth, the Gentile, so he had to take off his sandal. It refers to the Law, which had come before Jesus only for the Israelites, not for the Gentiles.
- The second redeemer, namely Boaz. He refers to Jesus, who comes after the Law. He is the one who is able to fulfill the Law.
Matthew 3:11
3:11 "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
John 1:27
1:27 "It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose."
Jesus does not want to loose His sandals; even the sandal strap could not be loosed by John the Baptist, the greatest man. It refers to the seriousness of Jesus to redeem the Israelites and Gentiles until He willingly dies on the cross. Do not ever doubt the grace of God for us.
There are three kinds of the wings of redemption of God for us, the Gentiles, as follows.
- The redemption from paganism.
Ruth 2:11-12
2:11 And Boaz answered and said to her, "It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before.
2:12 "The LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge."
Ruth left her father and mother as well as the land of her birth. It means leaving all things that belong to the Gentiles to come to God.
Ephesians 2:11-12
2:11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands--
2:12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
The signs of the Gentiles are as follows:
- Being without circumcision or holiness. It means only committing sins up to the peak like the dog and swine.
The dog licks the vomit. It refers to the sinful words. The swine returns to the wallowing in the mire after being washed. It refers to the deeds of sins up to the peak.
- Being without Christ or the anointing of Holy Spirit. It means the fleshly man with the fleshly characteristics. One of the fleshly characteristics is worry. It makes unrighteousness and unfaithfulness.
- Being without promise or the promise of eternal life. It means being without the promise of God.
- Being without hope. It causes disappointment and hopelessness in facing physical problems until leaving God. It also causes pride of something in the world until leaving God.
- Being without God or love until perishing.
How can the Lord do the redemption? Jesus redeems the Gentiles through the fifth wound, out of which blood and water came out.
John 19:32-34
19:32Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him.
19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.
19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
Actually, Jesus has died with the four main wounds, namely two in hands and two in feet, for redeeming the Israelites who have transgressed the Law. Nevertheless, a soldier who belonged to the Gentiles pierced His side with a spear. This is the fifth wound, out of which blood and water came out, for redeeming the Gentiles from the five characteristics.
Thus, if the Gentiles want to get the redemption from the five characteristics, they must receive the sign of blood and water which come out of Jesus' side as follows:
- The sign of blood. It means believing or having faith in Jesus and repenting, stopping sinning and returning to God, or being dead to sin.
- The sign of water or water baptism.
The true water baptism means that one who has believed in Jesus and repented or died to sin must be buried in water with Him to be raised or get out of water with Him. As a result, the heavens are open. The heavenly kingdom is opened. We get the new life, namely the heavenly one or the life in faith or righteousness until we are as righteous as Jesus.
Galatians 3:7
3:7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.
The Gentiles are not the physical descendants of Abraham. Nevertheless, they can be the spiritual descendants of Abraham through the water baptism.
Ephesians 2:13-16
2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
2:15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
2:16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
It continues until the Israelites and the Gentiles become one body of Christ, the spiritual Israel, or the chosen people of God.
It begins from the marriage or household that husband and wife, children and parent, brothers and sisters, as well as parents in law and sons/daughters in law must become one. Then, in the shepherding, the shepherd and the congregation, the members of the congregation, and the fellow servants of God must become one. It continues until the Israelites and the Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ.
- The shadow of the wings of the redemption at midnight.
Ruth 3:8-9
3:8 Now it happened at midnightthat the man was startled, and turned himself; and there, a woman was lying at his feet.
3:9 And he said, "Who are you?" So she answered, "I am Ruth, your maidservant. Take your maidservant under your wing, for you are a close relative."
The midnight time refers to the darkest condition of the world when we face crisis in all aspects of life (spiritual and physical life as well as the household) until the antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
Ruth 3:1-3
3:1 Then Naomi her mother-in-law said to her, "My daughter, shall I not seek security for you, that it may be well with you?
3:2 "Now Boaz, whose young women you were with, is he not our relative? In fact, he is winnowing barley tonight at the threshing floor.
3:3 "Therefore wash yourselfand anoint yourself, put on your best garmentand go down to the threshing floor; but do not make yourself known to the man until he has finished eating and drinking.
The requirements of getting the shadow of the wings of the redemption at midnight are as follows:
- Washing ourselves.
It refers to the Table of Showbread or the perseverance in committing the Bible Study Service with Holy Cmmunion to get the fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and Christ's sacrifice to sanctify us doubly, namely our outward and inward man are washed or cleansed.
- Anointing ourselves.
It refers to the Golden Candlestick or the perseverance in committing the General Service, including the fellowship or church visit service, to get the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts.
Anointing ourselves, we are fragrant to bring the fragrance of Christ or become the light of testimony. We testify about the Good News or Gospel Word for the sinful people who have not believed in Jesus yet so that they can believe Him and be saved. We also testify about the Bride Tidings or the teaching Word for the people who have been saved so that they can be shepherded, sanctified, and perfected.
- Putting on the best garment.
It refers to the Golden Altar of Incense or the perseverance in doing the Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in the love. We are renewed from the old men to the new ones who are obedient.
We are shepherded in the sheepfold or at the feet of Jesus. We get the shadow of God's wings. The more we are sanctified, the more the shadow of the wings becomes bigger until they become the two wings of a great eagle.
Revelation 12:14
12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
This is a great gain we can get in the service to God, namely the two wings of a great eagle, to bring us to pass the sea of the world and evacuate us to the wilderness, far away from the eyes of the antichrist, who reigns over the world for three and a half years. We are protected and preserved directly by the shadow of of God's wings on the wilderness through the teaching Word and the Holy Communion. Thus, the Bible Study Service with the Holy Communion becomes our adaptation to evacuate to the wilderness for three and a half years.
- The shadow or redemption of the Bridegroom.
Isaiah 54:5-10
54:5 For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.
54:6 For the LORD has called you Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, Like a youthful wife when you were refused," Says your God.
54:7 "For a mere moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you.
54:8 With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you," Says the LORD, your Redeemer.
54:9 "For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
54:10 For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed," Says the LORD, who has mercy on you.
It refers to the Ark of the Covenant in the Most Holy Place. It consists of the mercy seat that refers to the Lord Jesus Christ and the ark that refers to the church. The mercy seat cannot move from the ark like the head cannot be separated from the body although it is only a moment. This is the shadow or redemption of the bridegroom or the everlasting lovingkindness which never moves. No matter how unclean our life now is, let us return to the everlasting lovingkindness.
[verse 9] The shadow of the everlasting lovingkindness protects us from the judgment of God, the doomsday, and the judgment in the hell.
[verse 10] The redemption in the everlasting lovingkindness cannot be charged against by anything. It means that God always remembers us. He never leaves us whatever condition we have.
Isaiah 49:14-15
49:14 But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me."
49:15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
God always remembers us that we are only like a weak baby with many weaknesses who can only cry to Him. Then, God will give the shadow of Holy Spirit to us.
Matthew 3:11
3:11 "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
The functions of Holy Spirit are as follows:
- Holy Spirit performs the greatest miracle, namely the life renewal.
Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
He renews us from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like a baby who is honest and sincere without any lie. We become the house of prayer or our prayer is answered by God.
- Holy Spirit performs the physical miracle.
John 6:63
6:63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
He is able to preserve our physical life miraculously in the midst of the difficulties in the world.
Romans 8:11
8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
He is able to revive the dead. The impossible things become possible and all problems are finished. He is able to give us spiritual life. We can live in righteousness, holiness, faithfulness, and fervency in spirit in our service and ministry to God.
It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to be as perfect as He is to be worthy to welcome His coming on the glorious clouds. We are with Him forever. This is the last redemption. We are not separated from Him forever. We sit with Him on the heavenly throne.
God blesses you.
