Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 19:11
19:11. Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
'
heaven opened' refers to the days of God, namely the second coming of Jesus in the glory of the High Priest. Jesus is the leader of the revival of the white horse to prepare His perfect church, so we can be lifted up with Him and enter the eternal kingdom of heaven.
Jesus' activities as the High Priest who is Faithful and True are as follows:
- Judging in righteousness.
Who will be judged first? The church of God, then the world.
1 Peter 4:17-19
4:17. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
4:18. Now "If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?"
4:19. Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.
Luke 12:35-40
12:35. "Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning;
12:36. "and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately.
12:37. "Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.
12:38. "And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
12:39. "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.
12:40. "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."
The judgment begins at the house of God. It is God's mercy that gives us as His church the opportunity to do the things as follows:
- Using the time to be watchful before Jesus comes a second time. The time of Jesus' coming is like the coming of a thief that we do not know at what hour he will come.
- We are always ready, namely we live in righteousness in our whole life--'Let your waist be girded'--and minister to God faithfully and fervently--'your lamps burning'. We are also faithful in all things.
The third meaning of always being faithful is in the feast of marriage atmosphere. It means that we always rejoice and give thanks. We do not grumble.
Ephesians 6:14
6:14. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
So, 'Therefore you also be ready' means that we become the priest and king who minister to God faithfully, correctly, and joyfully, so we can always be purified by God. We surrender our soul to the Creator. In the time of God's mercy, namely the judgment at the house of God, or we face any tests, we must use His mercy to keep ministering to Him faithfully, correctly, and joyfully. Thus, we can always do the introspection in our life and we do not blame at others. We are always purified. We receive joyfully wherever God sends us.
Not being faithful and true, even grumbling a lot in the time of God's mercy, what will happen when we face the persecution because of Jesus' name? [1 Peter 4:18] We will deny God.
Acts 5:40-42
5:40. And they agreed with him, and when they had called for the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
5:41. So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.
5:42. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
The thing that happened in the age of the church of the first rain will also happen in the age of the church of the last rain. The apostles felt God's mercy because they were counted worthy to suffer shame for the true teaching Word. For example, Peter the apostle writes about the judgment [1 Peter 4]. Peter the apostle ever denied God when Jesus suffered because of the cross, so he had to suffer too. When Jesus broke the five loaves and the two fish for five thousand men, Peter might be standing in the very front. But when Jesus was captured and crucified, he denied Him. Then Peter received God's mercy, so he willingly suffered and died because of Jesus, and he experienced the purification.
We can experience the peak of God's love or the heavenly bliss when we suffer. Let us rejoice when we are poor or in famine or slandered! Do not grumble and blame at God! We worship God, so we can rejoice. Jesus as the High Priest who is Faithful will be with us. He will strengthen us and bear all of our sorrow. We rejoice and give thanks to God.
Be watchful! We must be watchful either we are blessed or in sorrow, because it is the test of God. Some people fall when they are blessed, but some people fall when they suffer like Peter who denies Jesus.
- He makes war in righteousness.
Isaiah 63:1-6
63:1. Who is this who comes from Edom, With dyed garments from Bozrah, This One who is glorious in His apparel, Traveling in the greatness of His strength? --"I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save."
63:2. Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?
63:3. "I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes.
63:4. For the day of vengeance is in My heart, And the year of My redeemed has come.
63:5. I looked, but there was no one to help, And I wondered That there was no one to uphold; Therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me; And My own fury, it sustained Me.
63:6. I have trodden down the peoples in My anger, Made them drunk in My fury, And brought down their strength to the earth."
Philippians 2:5-8
2:5. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
2:6. who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
2:7. but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
2:8. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
In the Old Testament, the war with Edom depended on the power of the flesh. In the New Testament, Jesus fights against the flesh with His own power, intelligence, wealth, will, and the fleshly mind, so the door of heaven is opened. We can enter the heavenly kingdom forever. The fleshly men cannot inherit the heavenly kingdom. We must also win with Jesus over the flesh, including the fleshly mind. Thus, we can receive the mind which is in Jesus. We can humble our life as well as become obedient and faithful until the flesh does not speak anymore. For example, Jesus willingly dies on the cross. The war in righteousness starts from making war with our own flesh. Then, we make war with the thing from outside. Jesus can receive the name which is above every name after winning over the flesh, so He can defeat the Trinity of Satan. Jesus becomes obedient to the point of death on the cross.
Philippians 2:9-10
2:9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10. that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
Revelation 19:11
19:11. Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judgesand makes war.
In righteousness He judges and makes war.
Philippians 2:9-10
2:9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10. that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
Jesus receives the name which is above every name to defeat the trinity of Satan. The trinity of Satan is the source of all bad things and destruction in the world.
Acts 19:13-20
19:13. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, "We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches."
19:14. Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.
19:15. And the evil spirit answered and said, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?"
19:16. Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
19:17. This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
19:18. And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds.
19:19. Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver.
19:20. So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.
The seven sons of Sceva did not have faith, but they called the name of the Lord Jesus.
Not having faith means not trusting. They did not have Jesus' mind, so they became arrogant and disobedient. Consequently, the powerful name of Jesus was not trusted to them. When they called the name of the Lord Jesus to drive out Satan, they were instead defeated by Satan. They were naked and ashamed. They committed sins up to the peak, so they were not saved but destroyed forever.
As the priests and kings, we must learn earnestly to God. We make war against the flesh with all of its strength, intelligence, and lust, so we have Jesus' mind. It is the same as crucifying the flesh. We can humble our life as well as become obedient and faithful until the flesh does not speak anymore. By God's mercy, we are trusted the powerful name of Jesus to defeat the trinity of Satan. First, we make war against the flesh. Then we make war against the trinity of Satan, and we will surely win.
For example, David made war against Goliath and he won.
1 Samuel 17:40-51
17:40. Then he took his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag, in a pouch which he had, and his sling was in his hand. And he drew near to the Philistine.
17:41. So the Philistine came, and began drawing near to David, and the man who bore the shield went before him.
17:42. And when the Philistine looked about and saw David, he disdained him; for he was only a youth, ruddy and good-looking.
17:43. So the Philistine said to David, "Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks?" And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
17:44. And the Philistine said to David, "Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!"
17:45. Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
17:46. "This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
17:47. "Then all this assembly shall knowthat the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD'S, and He will give you into our hands."
17:48. So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hastened and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
17:49. Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.
17:50. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David.
17:51. Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.
The power of Jesus' name must become our life experience. The power of Jesus' name is the same as the one in the true teaching Word that gives us victory in our life.
David made war against Goliath with the system of God as follows:
- David had and brought the shepherd's bag. It means that David was a shepherd. For us now, we must become the priests and kings who are shepherded well and correctly. We are always in the sheepfold, namely the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God.
The Gentiles tend to become the sea water or want the freedom. But, we must become the water that is put into the waterpot. The shepherding is the place to repress even tear and crucify the flesh with all of its lusts, desires, and powers until it does not speak anymore.
Goliath refers to the power of the lust and desire of the flesh that is colonizing and enslaving the servant of God, so he cannot obey God. The flesh also triggers men to commit the six ingrained sins, namely sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner.
1 Corinthians 5:11
5:11. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner--not even to eat with such a person.
Stinginess and greediness are the last bonds of the church of God, so we cannot go out of the world. In the past, the Israelites were not allowed to bring their animal when they would go out of Egypt to enter Canaan. For us now, having the stinginess and greediness means that we cannot enter the revival at the last rain--a white horse--and the eternal kingdom of heaven. The revival at the last rain needs money, but we do not need to be afraid as we are afraid with Goliath.
In the true and good shepherding, we are equipped with the two things as follows:
- The shepherd's staff. It refers to the shepherding Word (Psalm 23), namely the true teaching Word which is entrusted by God to a shepherd to be preached to the congregation faithfully, regularly, continually, and repetitively to become the food that grows their spirituality to maturity. We are purified continuously especially from the six ingrained sins by the shepherding Word, so we can live in holiness, and we are anointed by Holy Spirit.
- The five smooth stones. It refers t to the five injuries of Jesus or Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
The teaching Word and Christ's sacrifice (like we do in the Bible Study Service and Holy Communion) are able to set us free from Goliath, namely the gigantic mind and feelings in working, mate, et ceterathat hinder us to become obedient. The fleshly mind and feelings often make us afraid and doubtful to the true teaching Word. The flesh makes us arrogant, so we become disobedient and unfaithful in the ministry to God, even commit sins up to the peak.
If the forehead is purified, we will have Jesus' mind. We humble our life as well as become obedient and faithful in the ministry to God until the finish line. We will be trusted the powerful name of Jesus.
- David came to Goliath in the name of the LORD of hosts, so he won.
1 Samuel 17:45
17:45. Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
Philippians 2:9-10
2:9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10. that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
By the power of Jesus' name, we can defeat the trinity of Satan.
- Satan with the unclean spirit, namely sins up to the peak, is defeated, so we can live in righteousness and holiness. All problems can be finished by the power of Jesus' name. God will give us victory.
- The false prophet with the false teaching, gossip, et ceterais defeated, so we can hold fast the true teaching Word. We do not doubt at all. We keep trusting and committing ourselves to God. We will not be lost in the world. We are led and guided to the successful and beautiful future until the last sheepfold in the New Jerusalem.
- The Antichrist with the power of Mammon that causes the crisis of economy. It will be defeated. The temptation of economy often makes us doubtful, disappointed, and desperate until we leave Jesus. Let us call Jesus' name! He is able to take care of us in the midst of the difficulties of the world until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
Revelation 13:5
13:5. And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.
The Antichrist also refers to the mouth that likes to blaspheme the servants of God who are used by God, namely the holy men.
Philippians 2:11
2:11. and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
The results of defeating the trinity of Satan are as follows:
- Our ears just hear and obey the true teaching Word delightfully.
- Our mouth just glorifies God. We can be honest in the true teaching Word, confessing sin, and all things. We can testify to bring people to God and we can worship God.
If the ear and mouth are good, God will make all things well. We become as the first creation. We can be perfected when Jesus comes a second time. We become His bride. We greet Him on the glorious clouds until we enter the heavenly kingdom forever.
God blesses us.
