Matthew 26:14-16
26:14. Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests
26:15 and said, "What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?" And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver.
26:16 So from that time he sought opportunity to betray Him. Matthew 26:1-5 is about news of Passover.
Matthew 26:6-13 is about the preparation.
Matthew 26:14-16 is about the betrayal to the Passover Lamb.
Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus, the Passover Lamb.
Why did he betray Jesus?
It was because he joined false fellowship, namely fellowship without the true teaching Word. It is called a conspiracy.
The fellowship without the true teaching Word will go toward the building of Babel's body.
Judas could enter into the false fellowship because he kept flesh lust, namely wicked and unclean lust, and self-interest in the mortar pot of his life.
Consequently, Judas perished forever and all his entrails gushed out. He became as total destroyed vessel.
John 5:2-3
5:2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches.
5:3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. The fellowship without the true teaching Word equals to a fellowship of paralytics in spiritual meaning. Such condition has happened all over the world, in the five continents, as the description of five porches. The fellowship seems good and in unity but it will be scattered for sure when there is shaking.
There are three main diseases, namely blindness (it has been discussed in
General Service, May 8, 2011), lameness, and paralysis.
Ad. 2. LAMENESS1 Kings 18:20-2118:20 So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel.
18:21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, "How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." But the people answered him not a word.Lameness = faltering between two opinions = doubt.
Doubtful heart will go toward wrong direction, that is to say the worship to Baal.
Baal means king, lord, husband, bridegroom, in falseness, namely antichrist, whose bride is Babel.
The facts found in doubtful heart are as follows:
- Being doubtful about teaching, meaning:
- Supposing that all teachings are same.
- Neither being willing nor able to discern the right teaching and the false one. It equals to disability to discern God and Baal.
- Not rejecting false teaching or other doctrines expressly.
It has happened in the beginning of age and it will happen again in these last days.
2 Corinthians 11:2-4
11:2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
11:3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it!
The term "you may well put up with it'refers to not rejecting false teaching expressly. In the beginning of age, Eve had not rejected the serpent, referring to other doctrine, expressly, so she was deceived. Unfortunately, her husband followed or agreed her. In these last days or the time we are engaged with the Lord, there are many servants of God or the sons of God who do not expressly reject other doctrines because of using flesh consideration much more.
Being doubtful, the mind is deceived until false matter becomes right and vice versa. It happens because of flesh considerations until such person is deceived and perished.
- Being doubtful facing temptations or problems.
There is a big risk in choosing the right one but there is God who pleads us.
Being doubtful facing temptations means hoping in others, not hoping in God.
- Doubting in praying.
James 1:6-8
1:6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. |
1:7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
1:8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Doubtful people are as the waves of the sea. The consequences are as follows:
- Being unstable in life, there is no peace even there is distress.
- The prayer is not answered by God, the problems are not settled even increase much more.
- Sinking.
1 Kings 18:30
18:30 Then Elijah said to all the people, "Come near to me." So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.
Sinking equals to the altar of the Lord that was broken down, meaning turning to the worship to Baal (antichrist) or betraying Jesus as Judas Iscariot has done.
We have to choose ONE true teaching. Choosing two teachings, one will be a traitor.
Worshiping antichrist, his/her name will not be written in the Book of Life. It means eternal perdition.
1 Kings 18:36-3918:36 And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, "LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word.
18:37 "Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that You are the LORD God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again."
18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench.
18:39 Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, "The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!" Nowadays we are facing true teaching and the false one, true worship and the false one. Do not be mistaken in choosing them!
The solution is as follows:
- Doing all things according to the Word of God.
- The fire of Holy Spirit falls.
In shorts, we return to the Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit or
return to Holy Bible or the true teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword.
Hebrews 4:12-134:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. The result of the work of the sword is as follows:
- Sanctification to the heart.
Mark 7:21-23
7:21 "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
7:22 "thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.
7:23 "All these evil things come from within and defile a man."
Our heart must be sanctified from all evil thoughts and preconception. It is better to ask personally when there is preconception.
The sanctification happens until we are sanctified from foolishness. The foolishness means one cannot be advised, and it means that s/he is near Babel.
Matthew 5:8
5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
Our eyes will see only the Lordif our heart is sanctified from all evil and unclean lusts. We do not doubt anymore and there is no Babel.
The holy in heart will also see themselves in their weakness. In such condition, we are encouraged to confess our sins. After being forgiven, do not repeat the sins. Beware of self-truth! One who always supposes that s/he is right is seeing Baal.
The more we are sanctified, the more we can worship God as well as the more we can worship God and see our weakness. In such condition, we will never be deceived.
- Extra strength to make us strong and of good courage.
Being strong and of good courage means as follows:
- We fully rely on God facing all matters.
- We hold fast the true teaching Word and we do not give other doctrines any chance to enter our life.
The holy heart as well as strong heart and good courage will encourage us to true worship, namely worship to Jesus, King of kings, the Lord of lords, or Heavenly Bridegroom.
Revelation 19:6-7,1619:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
19:16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.Revelation 19:1,3-419:1. After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
19:3 Again they said, "Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!"
19:4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!" The worship with saying "Alleluia" is the reflection of heavenly worship.
On the contrary, the worship to Baal is not saying "Alleluia."
We have to choose only one. Do not use flesh consideration but let us return to holy bible.
Revelation 14:2-314:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.
14:3 They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.Worship to God equals to worship saying "Alleluia" or new song. It is the result of death and resurrection experience together with Jesus which is a private experience none may imitate. The result of worshiping God saying "Alleluia"is as follows:
- Worshiping Jesus asthe Lord of lords and we experience the power of God's mercy.
James 5:17-18
5:17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
5:18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
The power of God's mercy is able to make rain come down for 3.5 years, meaning to preserve our life in the middle of dry world. The condition of the world becomes more difficult day by day but the rain of God's mercy cannot be hindered by anything.
- Worshiping Jesus asKing of kings and we experience the power of creation.
Isaiah 43:15-16
43:15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King."
43:16 Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters,
Jesus creates a way in the sea, meaning He is able to solve all problems and to remove all impossible matters.
Do not take your own way outside the Word because it is dead-end and perdition.
The King will also give us beautiful future life.
- Worshiping Jesus as Heavenly Bridegroom that we can experience the power of sanctification and renewal.
Ephesians 5:25-27
5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
5:26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
5:27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
We are sanctified and renewed little by little until we become His spotless Bride someday. We are ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on glorious clouds, and then we enter into paradise and eternal New Jerusalem.
He makes a way in heaven as the rain of His mercy, a way in the sea, a way to New Jerusalem.
God blesses you.
