Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 16:4
16:4. Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.

Revelation 16:4-7 is about the third bowl of the wrath of God on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.
Physically, the rivers and the springs of water are for our life in the world.
The spiritual meanings of the rivers and the springs of water are as follows:

  1. The river that makes the living water flow, namely Holy Spirit.
    John 7:37-42
7:37. On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
7:38. "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow
    rivers of living water."
7:39. But this He spoke concerning
the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
7:40. Therefore many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, "Truly this is the Prophet."
7:41. Others said, "This is the Christ." But some said, "Will the Christ come out of Galilee?
7:42. "Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?"

The living water is accepted by those who believe in Jesus as the Prophet and the Christ, as the Scripture has said (the Old Testament and the New Testament, namely the true teaching Word). After being anointed and filled up by Holy Spirit, He will help us to testify to others that Jesus is the Christ. It means making the living water flow to the dry land.

  2. A fountain of water that springs up the living water (Holy Spirit) into everlasting life.
    John 4:13-14
4:13. Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
4:14. "but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him
a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."

    John 3:16
3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

A fountain of the living water that springs up into everlasting life can be accepted by those who believe in Jesus who has died on the cross. How can it happen?

    • Confessing sin to God and others. It is the same as giving Jesus the sour wine mingled with gall to drink on the cross. Do not sin anymore after being forgiven! We repent and live in righteousness.

    • Receiving Holy Spirit that is never dry or a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. Holy Spirit helps us to minister and worship God until we receive the eternal life.

That is why all of rivers and springs of water or our source of life must be linked with the faith, namely we believe in Jesus as the Prophet and the Christ as well as believe in Christ's sacrifice. Thus, we will not experience the third bowl of the wrath of God. Everything we do in the world must be linked with the faith to Jesus. We must be right in all aspects of our life. We even have the assurance of faith that our source of the physical life comes from God through faith and righteousness. If we have faith, righteousness, and Holy Spirit, the source will never dry although it is very small such as the school is just low level, having simple working, et cetera, but be in abundance and flow to others who are in need. The water can even spring up into everlasting life.

Exodus 4:1
4:1. Then Moses answered and said, "But suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice; suppose they say, 'The LORD has not appeared to you.' "

The main problem when God sent Moses to bring the Israelites out of Egypt to Canaan was supposing they would not believe in God through his words. On the last days, it will happen again.

Luke 18:8
18:8. "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"

Luke 18 prophesies about the time before the second coming of Jesus. The main problem for the church of God is whether they have faith or not. If they have no faith, they will not have the strong base to reach the perfection.

That is why God gave the signs to Moses, so the Israelites believed in Him and received him as God's messenger. On the last days, God also gives the signs to the church, so they believe in His messengers who are used by Him.

The first miracle was that a rod was cast on the ground, and it became a serpent, then its tail was caught and it became a rod in hand.

  1. The first sign was that a rod was cast on the ground, and it became a serpent.
    Exodus 4:2-3
4:2. So the LORD said to him, "What is that in your hand?" He said, "A rod."
4:3. And He said, "Cast it on the ground." So
he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it.

    John 3:14-16
3:14. "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
3:15. "that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God the Father gives His only begotten Son (Jesus) to the world. He is born as a man who has to bear the sin and the curse of sin of the world. Jesus must become a cursed man who is crucified like the serpent which is lifted up in the wilderness. Thus, we can be saved by believing in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross. We must believe in Jesus, so we can be saved.

    2 Corinthians 5:18-21
5:18. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
5:19. that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
5:20. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.
5:21. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Christ's sacrifice reconciles all of our sins no matter how big and black our sin is. If we willingly come to Jesus and hear the word of reconciliation, the power of His sacrifice or cross is able to reconcile us to God. The initiative of the reconciliation comes from God. We just receive and surrender ourselves to be reconciled to Him. Believing in Christ's sacrifice is the same as surrendering ourselves to be reconciled to God.

  2. The second sign was that Moses caught the serpent's tail, and it became a rod in his hand.
    Exodus 4:4-5
4:4. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Reach out your hand and take it by the tail" (and he reached out his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand),
4:5. "that they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you."

Catching the serpent's tail means that we believe in Christ's sacrifice or cross up to being firm in our hand, so the serpent becomes a rod. It means that Christ's cross justifies us.

    1 Corinthians 1:24
1:24. but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

The cross becomes God's power and wisdom to justify and save us, so we do not experience the third bowl of the wrath of God. We do not need to experience the water's becoming blood, but receive the power of Holy Spirit, namely water that becomes wine. By Holy Spirit, we can grow our faith.

    2 Peter 1:3-11
1:3. as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
1:4. by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
1:5. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,
1:6. to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,
1:7. to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
1:8. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1:9. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
    1:10. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
1:11. for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We must practice the faith after we believe in Jesus (holding Christ's sacrifice), become justified, and live in righteousness. The faith that is not practiced will die. The faith that is practiced will increase our faith up to the love and eternal life by the power of Holy Spirit. The water does not become blood but the living water that springs up into everlasting life. Holy Spirit will make us able, because He is not limited.

The process of the growth of faith is as follows:

    • Having faith or entering the gate of salvation. It refers to the Gate of Tabernacle.
    • The virtue. The first one that is waited by God is confessing sin to Him and others. Do not sin anymore after being forgiven! We must repent or stop sinning and return to God. It refers to the Altar of Burnt Offering. All of virtues without repentance will be in vain. For example, one commits sin for goodness or corrupts to help the building of the church. All of these will be in vain.

    • The knowledge of Jesus who has died and risen. It refers to the water baptism (the Brazen Laver). One who has died or repented must be buried in the water in the name of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life, namely life in righteousness.

    • Self-control, so the flesh has no power anymore. It refers to the Door of Tabernacle. We are anointed to the fullness by Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit controls us, so we do not commit sin anymore through sight, words, deed, feeling, et cetera. The self-control also means that we must do all things in order.

    • Perseverance.
    • Godliness.
Perseverance and godliness refer to the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main services to God (the three tools in the Holy Place). Our body, soul, and spirit attach to the trinity of God, so the trinity of Satan cannot make us fall unless we make ourselves fall. Thus, we are more purified.

    • Loving God and others. We can love others as we love ourselves; even we can love our enemy. We love or prioritize God more than anything.

All things can spring up by Holy Spirit. Without Holy Spirit, it is impossible for the flesh. If our faith increases up to the love (the number seven), the result is as follows:

    • Holy Spirit helps us to become the burning lamp (the number seven refers to the seven lamps). We become a witness in the household, church, office, and school until we become the light of the world in the New Jerusalem. Holy Spirit helps us to lighten the dark place like water that flows to the dry land.

    • 2 Peter 1:8
1:8. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

If our faith increases, we will minister to God more actively. We are getting better in our knowledge to God.

    • 2 Peter 1:10-11
      1:10. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
1:11. for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

If our faith increases, Holy Spirit will help us to be more diligent to make our call and election sure, so we never stumble. We can minister to God until the finish line. The living fountains of waters spring up into everlasting life.

It is the first miracle that cannot be imitated by Satan when we believe in Jesus who is sacrificed on the cross. Satan wants to imitate by doing the great thing (the false prophet), but it results in perdition. The miracle which is without faith, the Word of God, and purification is making fire come down from heaven. People live in the difficulties. They look great but the difficulties increase like fire until the age when the Antichrist who reigns for three and a half years up to perdition forever.

    Revelation 13:13
13:13. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.

Lot chose Sodom and Gomorrah because it was like the garden of the LORD, but actually the fire and brimstone which could be seen by the eye of faith.

    2 Peter 1:9
1:9. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

Be careful! There are men who believe but their faith does not increase. If we have received faith but we are passive in the ministry and other spiritual things, we will return to commit sin. We lose the redemption and salvation even we are against the righteousness. The value is the same as the man who does not believe in Jesus.

    John 3:36
3:36. "He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

They will experience God's punishment or the third bowl of His wrath, namely water that becomes blood. The blood cannot return to become water. It means that they will be destroyed forever.

    Exodus 4:9
4:9. "And it shall be, if they do not believe even these two signs, or listen to your voice, that you shall take water from the river and pour it on the dry land. And the water which you take from the river will become blood on the dry land."

>> The second miracle was that Moses put his hand in his bosom, and his hand was leprous.
Exodus 4:6-8
4:6. Furthermore the LORD said to him, "Now put your hand in your bosom." And he put his hand in his bosom, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, like snow.
4:7. And He said, "Put your hand in your bosom again." So he put his hand in his bosom again, and drew it out of his bosom, and behold, it was restored like his other flesh.
4:8. "Then it will be, if they do not believe you, nor heed the message of the first sign, that they may believe the message of the latter sign.

The second miracle refers to the working of the renewal of life. We are renewed to become the new creation in the spiritual body or the body of glory like Jesus who has risen, so we can enter the heavenly kingdom.

2 Corinthians 5:17
5:17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

1 John 3:2-3
3:2. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
3:3. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Experiencing the purification and the renewal of life means that we believe in Jesus who will come a second time as the Christ (the Anointed), the King of kings, and the Heavenly Bridegroom. What must be purified?

  • The first sign was that the hand was put in the bosom, and it was leprous.
    Exodus 4:6
4:6. Furthermore the LORD said to him, "Now put your hand in your bosom." And he put his hand in his bosom, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, like snow.

It means that we will have leprosy when we do not minister to God faithfully after we believe in Him and we are blessed.
Leprosy refers to the self-truth, namely one covers his sin by blaming others and God (the true teaching Word). We often do not realize the sin of leprosy until the finish line. Such of life cannot be rebuked.

Consequently, one who has the self-truth will live in the sins up to the peak until he experiences eternal punishment and perdition.

  • The second sign was that the hand was put in the bosom again, and it was restored like the other flesh.
    Exodus 4:7
4:7. And He said, "Put your hand in your bosom again." So he put his hand in his bosom again, and drew it out of his bosom, and behold, it was restored like his other flesh.

It means that we must do introspection in our life by the sharpness of the sword of the Word. We confess sin to God and others. Do not sin anymore after being forgiven! We return to the righteousness and holiness.

We often realize the adultery sin, but we also often do not realize it. But the sin of self-truth is hard to be realized. That is why we really need the true teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword to renew us. For example, Job received the Word, so he could become gentle and confess his mistake.

The usefulnesses of Holy Spirit are as follows:

  1. Exodus 15:25-26
15:25. So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them. And there He tested them,
15:26. and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."

Holy Spirit is able to do the spiritual miracle, namely He renews us from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones. We are changed continuously until the flesh does not speak anymore. We can obey the will of God, so the physical miracle happens too.

    • Jehovah Rapha or God is the healer. All physical diseases can be healed by the power of Holy Spirit.
    • Those who live in curse and bitterness will receive the heavenly bliss, namely life in happiness and sweetness.
    • Creating something that does not exist yet. God is able to take care of and protect us in the midst of the difficulties of the world until the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years. God takes care of us with the Word and Holy Communion. Committing Bible Study Service and Holy Communion is the practice to live in the wilderness.

    • The impossible thing becomes possible. God will help no matter the thing that burdens us.

  2. Romans 5:5
5:5. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Holy Spirit helps us, so we do not get disappointed and desperate regardless of anything that happens to us. We keep ministering to God faithfully and fervently. We keep trusting and worshipping God. We totally surrender in the hand of God.

If we become strong and of good courage, Holy Spirit will give the ministry and gift, so we are used in the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain, namely the one of the building of the perfect body of Christ. We are built to become in order as well as be laid out neatly. All things become beautiful and successful in due time until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to become as perfect as He is, so we are worthy to greet His coming. We can enter the New Jerusalem forever. We are not destroyed when water becomes blood in this world.

God blesses us.
