Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 11:611:6. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain fallsin the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.
The power of the two witnesses is as follows:
- The power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls or Elijah's (It has been explained).
- The power over waters to turn them to blood or Moses' (It has been explained).
ad. 2.
The power of Moses.
The first plague of God to Egypt is that the water turned into water.
Why did the first plague happen to Egypt?
- Because Pharaoh did not hear the Word, but resisted against it or righteousness by not allowing the Israelites to serve to God.
Exodus 7:16-17
7:16. "And you shall say to him, 'The LORD God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, "Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness"; but indeed, until now you would not hear!
7:17 'Thus says the LORD: "By this you shall know that I am the LORD. Behold, I will strike the waters which are in the river with the rod that is in my hand, and they shall be turned to blood.
It is the same as not loving God.
- Pharaoh enslaved, tormented, and hurt the Israelites.
It is the same as not loving other people.
Be careful! The closest neighbors are in the marriage, namely the husband, wife, children, parents, brothers, and sisters as well as in the shepherding, namely our fellow priests. Do not hurt one another or else the plague will come. We must not hurt God's heart also in the service and ministry to Him.
Thus, the first plague happened because Pharaoh and Egypt did not have the love. The water that turned into blood refers to the condition without love.
It means living and enjoying in sins up to the peak. Nevertheless, if there is love, there will be no sin.
Living in sins, one will get the spiritual death up to the second one in the hell forever.
Therefore, we must live in the love of God so that we are set free from His judgment or the plague, especially the plague of the water that turns into blood.
We willingly live in God's love, but actually the men of flesh and blood do not have the love of God. This is the hindrance.
Men only have the lust, will, characteristics, emotion, and ambition of the flesh which cause the water to turn into blood. It means living and enjoying in sins up to the peak, the spiritual death, up to the everlasting perdition in the hell.
Moreover, one still follows the fleshly wills and lusts although he has been in problems.
Enjoying sins means not confessing sins or there are no more fear to God and the love to others.
Where can we get the love of God from? We get it from the cross or the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:9-104:9. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Soninto the world, that we might live through Him.
4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved usand sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
We can get the love of God through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. Moreover, we can live by Him. We live in His love.
The facts found in living in the love of God are as follows:
- Jesus is the propitiation for our sins. Living in the love of God means always making peace with God and others.
Matthew 5:23-25
5:23. "Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
5:24 "leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciledto your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
5:25 "Agree with your adversaryquickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
'bring your gift to the altar'= a priest.
'your adversary'= God. The adversary of a sinful man is God while his friend is Satan.
Making peace with God means that we can realize, regret, and confess our sins seriously to God and others with a broken heart and tears by the encouragement of the sword of the Word. After being forgiven, do not commit the sin anymore.
Therefore, there must be the sword of the Word which pierces us up to our heart.
Verse 23-24 = making peace with others as follows:
- We can realize, regret, and confess sins to other people seriously by the encouragement of the Word with crying, not laughing. After being forgiven, do not commit the sin anymore.
Laughing in sins is the same as crying in the hell.
Crying in sins is the same as laughing in heaven.
- With a broken heart, we can seriously forgive the sin of others and forget it by the encouragement of the Word.
Matthew 6:14-15
6:14. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
6:15 "But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Not forgiving the sin of others, our sins will not be forgiven too by Father God.
Thus, making peace means coming to the cross for seriously confessing and forgiving one another and crying because of sins.
As a result, the blood of Jesus washes away our sins and we can leave them. We get and live in the love of God.
Proverbs 28:13
28:13. He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
Formerly, we died in sins. But, after receiving the love of God, we live in it. The water cannot turn into blood or we do not commit sin, so there is no plague.
1 Peter 4:8
4:8. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins."
The love of God covers many sins until there is no more sin. We are without blemish. We just need to choose whether we want to live in sins or in the love of God.
- We must be shepherded well and correctly.
John 21:15-19
21:15. So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."
21:16 He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Tend My sheep."
21:17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.
21:18 "Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish."
21:19 This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me."
There are three times of Jesus' question to Peter about the shepherding. It means that we must always be in the shepherding pen or the Holy Place through the perseverance in doing the three main services to God as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing the General Service to get the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts.
- The Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion to get the fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and sacrifice of Christ.
- The Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing the Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in His love.
In the shepherding pen, our body, soul, and spirit attach to the Trinity of God.
We must not go out of the shepherding until Jesus comes a second time.
The sheep may go out of the pen only to come to the right fellowship.
For example, Judas Iscariot went to the elders, so he was swallowed by the virus of sin. Dinah, Jacob's son, went out of the tent, so she was raped of fell in sin.
Let us stay in the shepherding pen.
Exodus 12: 22
12:22. "And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And noneof you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.
In the shepherding pen, our body, soul, and spirit attach to the Trinity of God, so the trinity of Satan, the death, and God's judgment cannot touch us.
The proofs are as follows:
- Being silent or peaceful like Jacob. Being anxious in the shepherding means that one is being touched by Satan.
- 'Peter was grieved'= we are sanctified continually up to inside our heart, so we can have a broken heart.
We seriously confess the sins of evil, uncleanness, and bitter heart in our life.
We are sanctified until our spirituality is mature and we can stretch out our hands to God and be obedient.
John 21:18-19
21:18. "Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish."
21:19 This He spoke, signifying by what deathhe would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me."
'you are old'= spiritual maturity.
Stretching out our hands to God means being obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore regardless of anything we must sacrifice.
We also cry for being obedient like Abraham who had to sacrifice his son obediently.
The love of God tonight refers to having the broken heart.
We must willingly stretch out our hands with crying. Do not laugh in sins or disobedience. If there is no love, there will be the plague for sure.
1 Peter 1:22
1:22. Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truththrough the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
If we are obedient and holy, we will be able to love one another with all of our heart; even we can love other people who make hostility towards us. Do not hurt others in the household. Maybe others hurt us, but we must keep silent and have the broken heart to surrender all to God.
As a result, God will plead us through His plague. Be careful in the time of friendship and engagement! Do not hurt each other! If one who is hurt keeps silent, sooner or later the plague will come.
The obedience and loving one another are the same as stretching out our hands to God. He will also stretch out His hands to exalt us in His time.
1 Peter 5:5-6
5:5. Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
Exalting us means as follows:
- Using us in the revival of Holy Spirit at the later rain or the edification of the perfect body of Christ.
- God makes all things successful and beautiful in time of need.
- Lifting us up on the glorious clouds.
- Bowing down at Jesus' feet more or worshiping God with a broken heart because of facing the sprinkling of blood.
John 11:31-35
11:31. Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, "She is going to the tomb to weep there."
11:32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."
11:33 Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.
11:34 And He said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to Him, "Lord, come and see."
11:35 Jesus wept.
The sprinkling of blood means the suffering in the flesh without any sin or the test to the faith.
John 11:5
11:5. Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
The Lord loved them, but let Lazarus be sick and dead. It refers to the sprinkling of blood for the family.
Verse 31 = the wrong attitude in facing the sprinkling of blood or the test, namely mourning like the people in the world and blaming at God or the true teaching Word and others. Such attitude is useless. It only adds problems and destruction up to the perdition. Blaming at God and others, the problems will never be finished.
The right attitude is bowing down, worshiping God with a broken heart, and confessing that we are neither worthy nor able or we cannot do anything, but only hope to God's mercy. We can fully surrender to God and embrace Him.
Do not be doubtful! God wants us to be close to Him when the sprinkling of blood happens. That is His love. He wants to embrace all of us
Do not get far away from Him, or else you cannot return anymore.
The results are as follows:
- The miracle of the renewal of life.
The sprinkling of blood is useful for showing the hidden things.
John 11:39-40
11:39. Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."
11:40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"
Martha seemed right, but she hid something.
There had been the stench. Nevertheless, just believe when God commands to take it away.
The hardness of Martha's heart is that she was not honest and did not believe God.
The hard heart can be changed in to the meek one. Dishonesty can be turned into the honesty. Not believing God is turned into believing Him.
Being honest and believing are the same as being the house of prayer or producing the smoke of the incense which is fragrant before the Lord.
- The physical miracles happen. The rotten thing can be made fragrant. The destroyed things can be made good. The crying is turned into joy. The impossible things can be made possible.
- When Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to be as perfect as He is and worthy to welcome Him on the glorious clouds. We are with Him forever.
God blesses you.
