Matthew 26:69-75is about Peter denied Jesus.
Peter denied Jesus three times as follows.
Matthew 26:73-75
26:73 And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, "Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you."
26:74 Then he began to curse and swear, saying, "I do not know the Man!" Immediately a rooster crowed.
26:75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." So he went out and wept bitterly.
Cursing, one is in the ambience of curse.
Galatians 3:13-14
3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),
3:14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Jesus has sacrificed until He died on the cross to deliver us from the curse of sin, even He gives us the blessing of Abraham to our descendants up to the blessing of eternal life forever in the land of promise.
Be alert with our tongue or saying! It determines whether we live in curse up to our descendants or in the blessings of Abraham up to our descendants even with the eternal life.
Peter denied Jesus even cursing, meaning he denied or rejected the sacrifice of Christ.
Matthew 16:21-23
16:21 And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, "Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you."
16:22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"
16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."
The servant of God who uses flesh mind or thinks only about physical things will reject the cross or the sacrifice of Christ for sure. Consequently, he becomes same as devil or Satan and perishes.
John 8:44
8:44 "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
The devil is liar and murderer. We have learnt about the liar, and tonight we will learn about the murderer.
1 John 3:15
3:15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
Murdering equals to hating up to the hatred without a cause.
There are three main places where the hatred hits as follows.
Peter denied Jesus three times as follows.
- Verse 69-70: Peter denied Jesus of Galilee = denial to the calling and election of God.
- Verse 71-72: Peter denied Jesus of Nazareth = denial to the true teaching Word and the true shepherding.
- Verse 73-75: Peter denied Jesus with swearing and cursing.

15:24 "If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hatedboth Me and My Father.
15:25 "But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hatedMe without a cause.’
The hatred is written seven times. The seven increases of hatred will peak on the hatred without a cause.
Golden Candlestick has seven burning lamps. The seven lamps will be quenched if there are seven increases of hatred. The candlestick is quenched, referring to the perfect darkness in hell.
John 15:26-27
15:26 "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
15:27 "And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
Facing the darkness or the hatred in the world, the Church of God must become witness of God. In such condition, the candlestick has seven burning lamps.
We cannot face the darkness with money, diploma, et cetera.
Bearing witness means we shine the light for the dark world or we bring other people to enter the Gate of heaven.
The only one relationship with the world outside the Tabernacle is through the Gate. Likewise, all things must be arranged well in the church with the permission of the pastor. One who enters without passing the door is a thief or robber.
The relationship with the world through the Gate is as follows.- To bring other people to have faith in Jesus and be saved.
Do not follow other people who go out of the Gate. - To bring ones who have believed in Jesus and saved to enter the building of Christ’s body through the true teaching.
The content of the testimony is as follows.- To tell what God has done in our life through the work of the true teaching Word and His mercy.
Mark 5:19
5:19 However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, "Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you." - The deeds in light.
Ephesians 5:8-9
5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
5:9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),- Goodness, meaning we do not give any disadvantage to other people but we become blessings for them. Moreover, we do not repay evil for evil but we repay good for evil.
- Righteousness, meaning we do not have partiality but we are only on God’s side or the side of the true teaching Word although it seems to be not humane.
Solomon commanded to bring a sword facing two mothers fighting for a baby. It seemed to be not humane but it could finish all problems before God. - Truth, meaning deeds that are according to the true teaching Word.
- Goodness, meaning we do not give any disadvantage to other people but we become blessings for them. Moreover, we do not repay evil for evil but we repay good for evil.
- To bring other people to have faith in Jesus and be saved.
- Shepherding or the field of God.
Genesis 37:2-5
37:2 This is the history of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. And the lad was with the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives; and Joseph brought a bad report of them to his father.
37:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors.
37:4 But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him.
37:5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.
Actually, the hatred is in the world. The sons of God will also have the hatred if they are not alert, even it can happen suddenly.
The reason of hatred is as follows.- Spiritual blessing.
Joseph got the tunic of many colors, referring to the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit. It equals to the employment of God. It can cause jealousy and hatred. The person who has the hatred and envy feels that God does not employ him. The ministry of preaching God’s Word and mopping the floor are equal before God because God employs them all.
Spiritual blessing is also about the gift of vision in dream, referring to the revelation of God’s Word especially the Word that points to the sins and our weakness. It also can cause hatred. - Physical blessing.
Physical blessing from God is only to be enjoyed. Do not be proud of it.
Facing the beast in shepherding, the solution is only one, namely the tunic must be dipped in blood. It equals to appreciating the sacrifice of Christ or being willing to suffer together with the Lord.
As long as we appreciate the sacrifice of Christ, we will never trade or leave the tunic of many colors because of any reason or anyone.
To become the witness of God or the lamp, our flesh is hurt like gold that is molded and flax that is burnt, but it is a must for us.
The process of the tunic’s being dipped in blood is as follows.- The blood of redemption -->Altar of Burnt Offering.
1 Peter 4:1
4:1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
The tunic must be dipped in blood means our suffering in the flesh in order to stop sinning, to live inrighteousness.
The congregation will bear every sin priests have done. It means a debt which cannot be paid. Therefore, our tunic must be dipped in blood. - The sprinkling of blood.
2 Corinthians 4:16-17
4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
It is suffering in the flesh without any sin to result in glory, referring to life renewal from mortar pot to golden one, or from carnal man to glorious one as Jesus is. The life renewal begins from being strong and of good courage as follows.- Not being hopeless, not being disappointed, but we keep faithful and fervent in spirit doing our ministry.
- Keeping obedient to the true teaching Word whatever risk may come.

On the contrary, one who keeps false matters, unfaithfulness, and disobedience will be preyed on by the beasts. Moreover, he will hate, up to the hatred without a cause.
If we keep righteous, faithful, and obedient, we will keep being renewed up to the last sheepfold in New Jerusalem. - Spiritual blessing.
- Marriage.
Mark 13:12-13
13:12 "Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
13:13 "And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
Matthew 24:12-13
24:12 "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
24:13 "But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
The solution is bykeeping the grace.
1 Corinthians 13:1-8
13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
13:4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
13:5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
13:6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
13:8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
There are nine works of love as follows.- Love is foremost.
- Love suffers long, being patient in suffering and waiting for the time of God.
- Love is kind, love gives.
Points number 1 to 3 are the love of Father God. - Love rejoices in the truth. There will be sorrow if there is false thing.
- Love bears all things, does not talk about the faults of other people and the goodness of his own life.
- Love believes all things.
Points number 4 to 6 are the love of the Son of God. - Love hopes all things.
- Love endures all things.
- Love never fails.
Points number 7 to 9 are the love of Holy Spirit God.
The source and the function of the love are as follows. - Love is foremost.
- The crowing of rooster, namely the preaching of shepherding Wordby a pastor faithfully, repetitively, and continually.
Matthew 26:75
26:75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." So he went out and wept bitterly.
The crowing of rooster made Peter realize, regret, and confess his sin. At that time, the love of God forgave him. Peter was justified and lived in righteousness. He was saved from death.
Whatever our sin now, do not become arrogant when the shepherding Word reminds you.
Proverbs 10:2-3
10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death.
10:3 The LORD will not allow the righteous soul to famish, But He casts away the desire of the wicked.
If there had been no crowing of the rooster, Peter would have perished. Likewise, we would have perished soon after we sinned if there had been no shepherding Word.
God will never leave the righteous in suffering. We will be preserved from our present life to the future and eternal one if we are righteous. - Holy Spiritpours the love of God that makes us neither disappointed nor hopeless nor worried nor proud nor afraid, et cetera. As a result, all things become easy and light.
Romans 5:5
5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Romans 16:20
16:20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
If our heart is peaceful, there is power of God to crush Satan, the source of failure. All things that have failed can be made successful. - The sacrifice of Christ or Holy Communion.
Colossians 3:14
3:14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
The sacrifice of Christ unites us and perfects us, from our marriage, shepherding, up to the perfect body of Christ. We become the Bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming with saying "Alleluia".
