Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:16-20 is about the commandment to preach the gospel or to spread the light or shekinah glory. It means we are employed by God in the great revival according to the great commission of the Lord as follows.
- [verse 18-19] The revival of Holy Spirit at the early rain.
Matthew 28:19
28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
It is the revival in gospel word or the gospel of salvation. It is also called Good Tidings to bring the sinners to get the salvation through the water baptism. It is the revival of salvation.
- The revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
Matthew 28:20
28:20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
It is the revival in the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ or the teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. It is called Bride Tidings to bring the people who have been saved to enter the building of Christ’s perfect body, be sanctified, and perfected to become the Bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming as Heavenly Bridegroom on glorious clouds. It is the revival of perfection.
If we are employed in the spiritual revival, we will be accompanied by God[Matthew 28:20b]. The accompaniment of God is a main need in our life that cannot be replaced by anything.
Exodus 33:1-433:1. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Depart and go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought out of the land of Egypt, to the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, 'To your descendants I will give it.'
33:2 "And I will send My Angel before you, and I will drive out the Canaanite and the Amorite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite.
33:3 "Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people."
33:4 And when the people heard this bad news, they mourned, and no one put on his ornaments. The house of Israel gets a terrible threat because of the hard heart. The threat is God does not want accompany them. Moses keeps on asking the accompaniment of God, although He gives the angel instead of Him to lead them to defeat their enemy and enter Canaan.
All things in the world such as riches, good position, intelligence, et cetera as well as service and ministry to God will be meaningless if God does not accompany us. Moreover, the kingdom of heaven will be meaningless if there is no Jesus there; all things only go toward perdition.
There are solutions to get the accompaniment of God as follows:
- Moses builds the tabernacle of meeting [Exodus 33:7-10].
- The house of Israel takes off their ornaments [Exodus 33:5-6].
We learn the first solution now.
Exodus 33:7-1033:7 Moses took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and called it the tabernacle of meeting. And it came to pass that everyone who sought the LORD went out to the tabernacle of meeting which was outside the camp.
33:8 So it was, whenever Moses went out to the tabernacle, that all the people rose, and each man stood at his tent door and watched Moses until he had gone into the tabernacle.
33:9 And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.
33:10 All the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshiped, each man in his tent door.
Moses builds the tabernacle of meeting outside the camp of the house of Israel as the place to seek God or the place He may accompany His people.
The meanings of the tabernacle of meeting are as follows:
- Sheepfold.
We can find Jesus as Great Shepherd who accompanies us in the sheepfold.
Luke 2:6-7
2:6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered.
2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
Matthew 2:6
2:6 ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherdMy people Israel.’"
If we want to seek, find, and have the accompaniment of Jesus, the Great Shepherd, we must be firm in the sheepfold. The fact found in it is perseverance in doing three main services to God in shepherding systemas follows:
- General Service, referring to Golden Candlestick,
- Bible Study Service with Holy Communion , referring to the Table of Showbread,
- Prayer Service, referring to Golden Altar of Incense.
Psalm 23:1
23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
As a result, ‘I shall not want’. It means as follows:
- We are accompanied by the Great Shepherd who preserves our physical life miraculously until we have abundant life to give thanks to God always.
- We are accompanied by the Great Shepherd who preserves our spiritual life until we are prefect or without blemish to enter New Jerusalem, the last sheepfold.
1 Peter 5:8
5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Wandering or not being firm in the sheepfold will make one meet roaring lion. It means he meets Satan with strange voice such as false teaching, gossip, et cetera, which make the faith doubtful and weak; even he departs the faith, spiritually dies, loses the salvation, and perishes forever.
- Tabernacle.
It refers to Tabernacle and Bride Teaching or Bride Tiding in the light of tabernacle.
Moses pitched the tabernacle of meeting far away, outside the camp of the children of Israel. It spiritually refers to the area of the Gentiles. It is the mercy of God to the Gentiles, especially to Indonesia because the Tabernacle and Bride Teaching was revealed by God to the late Rev. FG van Gessel in Pacet, Mojokerto, according to what Moses had received on Mount Sinai. He could arrange the sixty six books of the Bible by the revelation of God in the tabernacle pattern. It was finished in Papua, the end of the earth and he died there. The house of Israel has the physical tabernacle but the spiritual one, namely the tabernacle teaching, is trusted to the Gentiles.
Formerly, the children of Israel had to go out of the camp to enter the tabernacle of meeting. Now, it means they must seek the Bride Tiding in the light of tabernacle that is possessed by the Gentiles in order to seek and find Jesus, the Messiah, the King of all kings, or Heavenly Bridegroom.
Exodus 33:833:8 So it was, whenever Moses went out to the tabernacle, that all the people rose, and each man stood at his tent door and watchedMoses until he had gone into the tabernacle.
The movement of Moses to go to the tabernacle of meeting makes the children of Israel watch Him. It means
the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain will influence the spiritual sight of the house of Israel to enter in the building of Christ’s body through the Bride Tiding.
The Tabernacle Teaching is based on the Bible explaining the plan of God, namely salvation and perfection for His people or spiritual Israel so that they can enter New Jerusalem or heavenly kingdom.
The Bride Teaching is based on the Bible explaining the relationship between God and His people or the spiritual Israel according to the Tabernacle Teaching which will peak on the perfect marriage or the spiritual one between Christ and the Church that cannot be separated by anything.
Hebrews 4:12-134:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two–edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Tabernacle and Bride Teaching means the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword; both of them cannot be separated.
The first edge is the Tabernacle Teaching and the second one is the Bride Teaching. Both of them are called
Bride Tiding in the light of Tabernacle.
The target of the Bride Tiding is our heart. It sanctifies us, beginning from our heart because it is the place where God may dwell and accompany us.
Matthew 15:1915:19 "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
If the heart is ruled by seven evil and unclean lusts, God will not accompany him but Babylon. Consequently, he will go toward the building of the body of Babylon which is perfect in evil and uncleanness.
Matthew 5:85:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
If our heart is sanctified, the “eye” of our heart can see God in His glory. We can worship Him in His glory like Moses who could see God.
Exodus 33:1133:11 So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.
The results of seeing the Lord are as follows:
- We are not moved but strong and of good courage.
Psalm 16:8
16:8 I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
Being strong and of good courage means we do not become disappointed or desperate as well as leave God because of facing temptations and impossible problems. We do not hope in others but keep on believing and fully hoping in God. Moreover, we do not seek the way out that is not in line with the truth of the Word. We can keep faithful and fervent in spirit doing our service and ministry to God. We also can be strong and of good courage facing other teachings or false ones.
1 Timothy 4:1-2
4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
4:2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
We can firmly hold fast to the true teaching Word and reject the false teaching. We do not want to hear the false teaching although it is only once, or else the conscience will be stamped by it to cause doubt.
If we are strong and of good courage, all things will become good. God fights for us to give us victory.
1 Chronicles 19:13
19:13 "Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight."
- We receive the light of the sun coming out of Jesus’ face.
Revelation 1:16
1:16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two–edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
Numbers 6:26
6:26 The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace." '
We will feel peace. We do not feel what our flesh feels; without fear or anxiety. We only love God more than anything.
Numbers 6:24-25
6:24 "The LORD bless you and keep you;
6:25 The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;
We also receive the light of the grace to preserve and protect us facing the difficulties in the world as well as sins and the peak.
The light of the grace changes us from flesh man to spiritual one as Jesus is. It begins from our bright face, obedient ears, and mouth saying righteous good words and worship to God. If the spiritual miracle can happen, the physical one will happen for sure until we are changed to become as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time. We see Him face to face on glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
