Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 5:1-45:1 And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
5:2 Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?"
5:3 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.
5:4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.The scroll in the right hand of God is the same as the Bible we have in the world through the revelation from God.
The condition of the scroll is as follows.
- Being written inside and on the back. It refers to the sanctification to our outward and inward man or our whole life.
- Being sealed with seven seals. It means that there is no revelation of the Word. John wept much because there was no revelation of the Word from God.
Colossians 2:1-32:1 For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,
2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,
2:3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdomand knowledge.Paul also struggled to get the revelation of the Word or the treasures of wisdom from heaven. We must also struggle to get the revelation of the Word.
The functions of the revelation of the Word are as follows.
- To open the doors in the world; even the door of the heavenly kingdom.
- To make the congregation not wild [Proverbs 29:18].
- To make the congregation not be deceived by the persuasive words, false teachings, gossips, and so on.
Colossians 2:4
2:4 Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words.
- To make us steadfast in faith. It means that we keep on putting the word on our side or holding fast to and obeying the true teaching Word.
Colossians 2:5
2:5 For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.
- To make us keep on walking in Jesus and He in us. This is a permanent position which cannot be changed forever.
Colossians 2:6
2:6 As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,
The facts found in walking in Jesus are as follows.
- Not sinning.
1 John 3:6
3:6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
We experience the deliverance from sins up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. How can it happen?
Psalm 119:11
119:11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You!
We must keep the Word in our heart through this process.
- Being swift to hear the true teaching Word.
James 1:19-20
1:19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;
1:20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
We are fervent in spirit to hear the Word seriously until we can understand it. The proof is being slow to speak and wrath or we keep silent more to do introspection.
- Receiving the true teaching Word with meekness.
James 1:21
1:21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
The Word is implanted in our heart. It has roots in our heart, namely we can believe in the Word or it becomes faith in our heart.
The results are as follows.
- The Word becomes a brake so that we do not sin up to the peak.
Sinning is the same as bumping, consequently the mind, words, up to the whole life are corrupt.
- Yielding the fruit of righteousness, namely the salvation to our soul.
- Obeying the Word.
1 John 2:5
2:5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
If we are obedient to the Word, all risks will be carried by God.
James 1:22
1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Faith without any work cannot save, but bring perdition.
The results of obeying the true teaching Word are as follows.
- We do not stumble because of sins which ensnare in front of us.
Psalm 119:105
119:105 NUN. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
1 Peter 1:22
1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
The true teaching Word sanctifies the journey of our life. It begins from the heart or the source of sins. There are three kinds of will in the heart as follows.
- Evil will or the root of wickedness. It refers to the love of money or being bound by money, so one becomes stingy and greedy. Being stingy means that one cannot give. Being greedy means that one robs the possession of others as well as God's, namely the tithes and offerings.
- Unclean will or the root of uncleanness, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
- The root of bitterness. It refers to the hatred without a cause, envy, revenge, and so on.
If our heat is sanctified, we will be able to love God more than anything [1 John 2:5]. We can prioritize God or the service and ministry to Him more than anything. We can also return the possession of God, namely the tithes and offerings, or we are able to give to the work of God. We love other people as we love ourselves. We do not harm them, but only do good things to them. We can give to and visit other people who are in need. It begins from our family. Moreover, we can repay good for evil.
- We have the wisdom of heaven.
Matthew 7:24
7:24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
Ecclesiastes 10:2
10:2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand, But a fool's heart at his left.
We are at the right hand of God as His sheep. It means that we are shepherded. The requirements are as follows.
- We persevere in the shepherding pen or the Holy Place, namely in doing the three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service to have the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts. The sheep is drinking so that we are not dry, but fresh spiritually.
- Communion to get the fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ. The sheep is eating so that we have power to keep on following God until the end line.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Worship Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in the love. It refers to the breath of life or the air circulation. The worship prayer is the top of our service and ministry to God. We have the love of God so that all things we do for Him will not be in vain, but reach the eternal life.
- We eat the true shepherding Word. We only hear and obey the voice of the shepherd and flee from the strange voice which is not in line with the Bible.
As a result, we can grow towards the spiritual maturity up to the perfection. We experience the sanctification from the characteristic of the goat, namely egoism or self-interest that causes one not to willingly give to and visit others.
James 1:27
1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
In the shepherding, there is the guarantee of the assurance from God to preserve our life abundantly until we can give thanks.
- The Word becomes a light.
Psalm 119:105
119:105 NUN. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a lightto my path.
It guides us to the bright, successful, and beautiful future life up to the City of Light, namely the New Jerusalem or the last shepherding pen. We do not lose our way to go there.
- We must walk just as Jesus walked.
1 John 2:6
2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Psalm 119:18
119:18 Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.
The true teaching Word is able to change or renew us from fleshly men to spiritual ones like Jesus is.
James 1:26
1:26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless.
It begins from the renewal to the tongue.
Philippians 2:8-11
2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Jesus was obedient to the point of death on the cross and He got the name above all names to defeat the trinity of Satan or three beasts, so our tongue can be bridled or tamed.
Numbers 23:19
23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
The tongue does not lie, but keeps the promise. It can speak the truth, honesty, and testimony. Moreover, it can cry out the name of Jesus and worship God.
As a matter of fact, the tongue is often ruled by the beasts, so one often lies. If the preaching of the Word cannot change his tongue, God will let something which is great happen so that he can cry out the name of Jesus.
Matthew 14:26-33
14:26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out for fear.
14:27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."
14:28 And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."
14:29 So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
14:30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"
14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
14:32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.
14:33 Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."
For example, Peter and his friends called Jesus as ghost because of their doubt. It is the same as the blasphemy to the true teaching Word. The Lord permitted him to sink. It refers to the physical and spiritual deterioration. Nevertheless, Peter was still able to raise his hands and cry out to Jesus. As a result, Jesus stretched out His hands to solve the problem, save Peter, and used him.
Mark 7:25-30
7:25 For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and fell at His feet.
7:26 The woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter.
7:27 But Jesus said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs."
7:28 And she answered and said to Him, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children's crumbs."
7:29 Then He said to her, "For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter."
7:30 And when she had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed.
The other example is the woman of Canaan, whose heart was hard and tongue was like a dog's licking vomit. The Lord permitted her daughter to be demon-possessed. It refers to the destruction in marriage and children and the condition without any peace, but weariness, heavy burden, bitterness, and distress. It also refers to impossibilities. Nevertheless, the woman could cry out to the Lord. As a result, the marriage and children can be restored, there is peace, and the impossible things can be made possible.
Luke 23:39-43
23:39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us."
23:40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
23:41 "And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong."
23:42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
23:43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
The criminal who was crucified beside Jesus refers to one who is evil, unclean, and in total failure and perdition. Nevertheless, he was still able to cry out to Jesus. It means confessing the sins to God and other people as well as not repeating them after being forgiven. As a result, God is able to help, lift us up from failure and give us success, as well as give the atmosphere of Paradise and eternal life to us.
God blesses you.
