Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21:11
21:11. having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. The New Jerusalem is as follows:
- The city that has the glory of God.
- The city whose light is like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal
John 8:12 8:12. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."Jesus appears as the light of the world. It is the biggest and most precious source of light in the world.
Why does Jesus appear as the light of the world?
- Illuminating the sinners who live in the sins up to the peak, so they are saved.
- Making us the light of the world that is as glorious as Jesus.
Matthew 5:14
5:14. "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
We receive the light of the life or eternal life to radiate the most precious light until we radiate it at the New Jerusalem.
How can we receive the light from Jesus?
[John 8:12] We must follow Jesus.
John 10:4 10:4. "And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. It is like the sheep following the shepherd. It means that we must be shepherded well and correctly.
Who must be shepherded?
- All of the ministries, including the shepherd, so we can enter the building of the body of Christ that aims at Jesus as the Head.
- The donkey, namely the Gentiles must be bound or shepherded to enter the New Jerusalem.
Matthew 21:1-221:1. Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,
21:2. saying to them, "Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me.Judges 15:16 15:16. Then Samson said: "With the jawbone of a donkey, Heaps upon heaps, With the jawbone of a donkey I have slain a thousand men!"Where do we have to be shepherded?
- The donkey must be bound to the true vine, namely Jesus.
Genesis 49:11
49:11. Binding his donkey to the vine, And his donkey's colt to the choice vine, He washed his garments in wine, And his clothes in the blood of grapes.
John 15:3
15:3. "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
The word which Jesus speaks or the true teaching Word is able to purify us, the Gentiles.
- We must enter the sheepfold through the narrow door, namely the tearing of the flesh.
John 10:1
10:1. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
The Holy Place has the three tools. It refers to the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick refers to the perseverance in committing the General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God. The gift is increased up to becoming the light of the star.
- The Table of Showbread refers to the perseverance in committing the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God. The Word is repeated, so we are set free from sin until we experience the perfect redemption. It is the light of the moon.
- The Golden Altar of Incense refers to the perseverance in committing the Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love. It will become the light of the sun.
Only those who love God willingly experience the tearing of the flesh--entering the narrow door.
In the sheepfold, we experience the purification continuously by the repeated true teaching Word or the shepherding one.
We are purified from the characteristics of the Gentiles as follows:
- Anxiety.
Matthew 6:31-32, 34
6:31. "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
6:32. "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
6:34. "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
The consequences of getting afraid about the daily life and future are as follows:
- One cannot become faithful and true.
Matthew 6:33
6:33. "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
It is the same as being wicked and lazy, namely the unprofitable servant.
Isaiah 11:5
11:5. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
It means having no belt, so he cannot satisfy God.
The consequences are as follows:
- Not being satisfied until being withered spirituality.
- His life is not neat and beautiful.
- Not shining but living in the darkness until he is cast into the outer darkness, namely the hell.
If we are purified from the anxiety, we will become the faithful and true servant of God. We are profitable servants who emit the light.
- Becoming stingy and greedy.
Stinginess means that one cannot give for the working of God and others who are in need.
Greediness means that one steals the possession of God and others.
We are purified, so we love to give until we feel more blessed to give than to receive.
- Not being shepherded, so one becomes the onager and the wild donkey.
Job 39:5,8
39:5. "Who set the wild donkeyfree? Who loosed the bonds of the onager,
39:8. The range of the mountains is his pasture, And he searches after every green thing.
If means following the lust of the flesh, so one does not obey the will of God. He commits sins up to the peak. He also follows the destroying false teaching that fits his flesh.
The other characteristic of the Gentiles is being like dog and swine, namely evil and uncleanness.
We are purified from the characteristics of the Gentiles, so we can live in holiness.
The results are as follows:
- We are equipped with the ministry and gift. We are appointed as the priests and kings--the living stones.
Being the living stones means that we live by God's mercy that cannot be limited by anything.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12. for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
1 Peter 2:5
2:5. you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
We are used in the building of the body of Christ to enter the New Jerusalem.
The shepherding is the transit place to go to the New Jerusalem. It is the decisive place. That is why Jesus must die to shepherd us.
Acts 20:28
20:28. "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
That is why a shepherd must willingly sacrifice anything to keep the sheep.
The sheep must also willingly suffer to be shepherded.
- We are used to emit the increasing light until we become the light of the world like Jesus.
The three enhancements of the light are as follows:
- The light in the house.
Matthew 5:15
5:15. "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
The requirements are as follows:
- The lamp must be put on the lampstand. The arrangement of the marriage must be true.
1 Corinthians 11:2-3
11:2. Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you.
11:3. But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
Christ is the head of the marriage. A husband is the head of his wife. A wife is the body, and the children are the members of the body.
- The flax must be willingly burnt. It is like Jesus who willingly dies on the cross to become the light of the world.
We must willingly sacrifice anything, so the lamp lights the house.
The facts are as follows:
- A husband loves his wife and does not do bitterly toward her. He must be responsible for the physical and spiritual flows in the marriage. He considers and decides all things in the household based on the true teaching Word, so it is true and eternal.
- A wife submits to her husband in all things. She covers the weakness of her husband and child through the prayer
- A child obeys his parents.
Colossians 3:20
3:20. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
- The parents must not make the children lose hearts.
Colossians 3:21
3:21. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.
If the lamp lights in the household, we will win over the darkness of basket, namely economy and the sin of eating-drinking, and the one of the bed, namely the sin of marrying-giving in marriage.
- The light before menas follows:
Matthew 5:16
5:16. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Ephesians 5:8-9
5:8. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
5:9. (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
- The light of righteousness, namely we are not on the side of others but God's, so all problems are finished by Him.
- The light of goodness, namely we just do the good things.
- The light of truth.
Psalm 37:25-26
37:25. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
37:26. He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.
As a result, we are blessed, and we become the blessing for others.
- The light of the world.
Matthew 5:14
5:14. "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
The church of God has the light of the sun, moon, and stars.
Revelation 12:1-3
12:1. Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moonunder her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
12:2. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
12:3. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
The situation of the church of God is like a pregnant woman who will give birth. We just groan and cry to God. It is the prayer with a broken heart until we experience the new birth or the renewal of life from the living stone to jasper stone, namely obedience and faithfulness until the flesh does not speak anymore. We are given the two wings of a great eagle. It refers to God's merciful hand that hugs us.
The wing grows through the test of obedience and faithfulness.
The usefulness of the two wings of a great eagle is as follows:
- Protecting and taking care of us like the apple of eye in the midst of the difficulties of the world.
Psalm 17:7-8
17:7. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.
17:8. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
- Bringing us to God Himself.
Exodus 19:4
19:4. 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself.
We pass the storm of the ocean of the world until it becomes calm. All of impossible problems are finished by God, so we experience peace. All things become easy and light.
We are walking, but as being borne by the eagle. It means experiencing the heavenly bliss.
- Evacuating us to the wilderness.
Revelation 12:14
12:14. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wildernessto her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
We are lifted up on the glorious clouds until we enter the New Jerusalem.
Isaiah 40:29-31
40:29. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
40:30. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
40:31. But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
God blesses us.
