Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 11:1-2
11:1. Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.
11:2. "But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.

In Patmos Island, God shows John the apostle about the court of the temple that is not measured. It means that it does not fulfill the measurement from God, so it must experience the persecution of the antichrist for three and a half years.

There are two possibilities when one is in the persecution of the antichrist as follows:

  1. The big one is that many servants or sons of God deny God. They worship the antichrist because they cannot endure the great tribulation. They are safe in the age of the antichrist but they will be destroyed when Jesus comes a second time.

  2. The small one is that the servants or sons of God keep worshipping God although they face the great tribulation up to being beheaded, but they will be raised when Jesus comes a second time.

The Tabernacle consists of three parts as follows:

  1. The court. It refers to righteousness or salvation.
    Exodus 27:9
27:9. " You shall also make the court of the tabernacle. For the south side there shall be hangings for the court made of fine woven linen, one hundred cubits long for one side.

The righteousness is the result of the preaching of the gospel of salvation, the gospel Word, or the good news.

    Ephesians 1:13
1:13. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

    Proverbs 25:25
25:25. As cold water to a weary soul, So is good news from a far country.

The gospel word preaches about Jesus' first coming in the world as the only sinless man who must die on the cross to save the sinners.

Being saved is not enough. That is why it must be continued.

  2. The Holy Place. It refers to the holiness.
  3. The Most Holy Place. It refers to the perfection.
    Exodus 26:33
26:33. "And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy place and the Most Holy.

The holiness and perfection are the result of the teaching word, the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, or the Bride Tidings.

    2 Corinthians 4:3-4
4:3. But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4. whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

    Matthew 25:6
25:6. "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!'

The teaching word preaches Jesus' second coming in the glory as the King of kings and Heavenly Bridegroom to purify us up to perfection like Him. We become the heavenly bride.

    Revelation 21:9-10
21:9. Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife."
21:10. And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Who are not measured or those in the court? The church or servants of God that only receive the gospel word. They do not want to receive the teaching word and be purified up to perfection, so they must experience the persecution of the antichrist for three and a half years.

Hebrews 4:12-13
4:12. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

The teaching word that is sharper than any two-edged sword consists of two parts as follows:

  1. The word is like a sword. It is the same as Thummim.
  2. The light is the same as Holy Spirit or Urim.

The Urim and Thummim are the same as the teaching word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. It will pierce and purify our heart and mind.

Exodus 28:30
28:30. "And you shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be over Aaron's heart when he goes in before the LORD. So Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel over his heart before the LORD continually.

The Urim and Thummim are over the heart of a High Priest. It means that the servant of God who receives the working of the Urim and Thummim from the word will be put over the heart of Jesus, the High Priest. We become the favorite or heart of God, or the apple of His eye.

The works of the Urim and Thummim in our life are as follows:

  1. The Urim and Thummim purify us from sinful deeds up to the smallest one and sinful feeling.
    1 Samuel 14:40-45
14:40. Then he said to all Israel, "You be on one side, and my son Jonathan and I will be on the other side." And the people said to Saul, "Do what seems good to you."
14:41. Therefore Saul said to the LORD God of Israel, "Give a perfect lot." So Saul and Jonathan were taken, but the people escaped.
14:42. And Saul said, "Cast lots between my son Jonathan and me." So Jonathan was taken.
14:43. Then Saul said to Jonathan, "Tell me what you have done." And Jonathan told him, and said, "I only tasted a little honey with the end of the rod that was in my hand. So now I must die!"
14:44. And Saul answered, "God do so and more also; for you shall surely die, Jonathan."
14:45. But the people said to Saul, "Shall Jonathan die, who has accomplished this great deliverance in Israel? Certainly not! As the LORD lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked with God this day." So the people rescued Jonathan, and he did not die.

The Urim and Thummim also purify us from habitual sins or the things that are considered normal. One of them is not ministering to God willfully. One becomes unfaithful up to leaving the ministry because of something in the world.

    Hebrews 10:25
10:25. not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

    Proverbs 12:19
12:19. The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment.

    We are purified from lying.

    Leviticus 18:3
18:3. 'According to the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their ordinances.

We are purified from sinful deeds that are considered normal in the world.

When the word shows our sin, we must confess it honestly to God and others.

    1 Samuel 14:45
14:45. But the people said to Saul, "Shall Jonathan die, who has accomplished this great deliverance in Israel? Certainly not! As the LORD lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked with God this day." So the people rescued Jonathan, and he did not die.

As a result, not one hair of our head shall fall to the ground.
It means that we live in the hands of God's great mercy.

  2. The Urim and Thummim purify our ordination or ministry.
    Nehemiah 7:64-65
7:64. These sought their listing among those who were registered by genealogy, but it was not found; therefore they were excluded from the priesthood as defiled.
7:65. And the governor said to them that they should not eat of the most holy things till a priest could consult with the Urim and Thummim.

The Urim and Thummim purify us from leprosy or uncleanness as follows:

    • Sin of uncleanness, namely the sins of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
    • Sin of self-truth, namely covering sin by blaming at others and God or pretending to do good things.

    John 21:3
21:3. Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.

    John 21:7
21:7. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.

Peter does not obey God. He is unfaithful up to leaving the ministry to find the physical thing.
If one does not become obedient and faithful, he will experience the total failure. He sins up to the peak.

    John 21:4-6,11
21:4. But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
21:5. Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?" They answered Him, "No."
21:6. And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
21:11. Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken.

As soon as we obey the word that is sharper than any two-edged sword, Jesus will help us soon.
We return to the hands of God's great mercy.

  3. The Urim and Thummim purify our heart from evil desire or the will of money and unclean desire.
    Joshua 7:11,16-21,24
7:11. "Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff.
7:16. So Joshua rose early in the morning and brought Israel by their tribes, and the tribe of Judah was taken.
7:17. He brought the clan of Judah, and he took the family of the Zarhites; and he brought the family of the Zarhites man by man, and Zabdi was taken.
7:18. Then he brought his household man by man, and Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was taken.
7:19. Now Joshua said to Achan, "My son, I beg you, give glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession to Him, and tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me."
7:20. And Achan answered Joshua and said, "Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and this is what I have done:
7:21. "When I saw among the spoils a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. And there they are, hidden in the earth in the midst of my tent, with the silver under it."
7:24. Then Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the garment, the wedge of gold, his sons, his daughters, his oxen, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and all that he had, and they brought them to the Valley of Achor.

    Joshua 6:24
6:24. But they burned the city and all that was in it with fire. Only the silver and gold, and the vessels of bronze and iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.

The gold and silver refer to the possession of God, namely the tithes and special offerings.
The gold and silver also refer to the possession of others.
The will of money makes one greedy and stingy.

    Acts 20:35
20:35. "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

The Urim and Thummim purify us from evil and unclean desires, so we feel more blessed to give than to receive until we can surrender all of our life to God.

    Psalm 84: 10
84: 10. For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

The fact of surrendering our life to God is that we can prioritize God or ministry more than anything.

As a result, we live in the hands of God's great mercy that is as big as the two wings of a great eagle.

The functions of the two wings of a great eagle are as follows:

    • Taking us to God up to over His heart. We lean on Jesus' breast.
      Exodus 19:4
19:4. 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself.

      Psalm 62:1- 2
62:1. <<To the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.>> Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.
62:2 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Our life becomes easy and light.

When we are silent and calm as well as leaning on God's breast, our strength will become zero and God's a hundred percent.

      2 Chronicles 14:9-11
14:9. Then Zerah the Ethiopian came out against them with an army of a million men and three hundred chariots, and he came to Mareshah.
14:10. So Asa went out against him, and they set the troops in battle array in the Valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.
14:11. And Asa cried out to the LORD his God, and said, "LORD, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O LORD our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O LORD, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You!"

    • Taking us to pass the tempest of the world, protect us from all difficulties and shakes in the world, and evacuate us to the wilderness when the antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
      Revelation 12:14
12:14. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

    • Giving us the extra power, so we are strong and of good courage to face against anything in the world.
      Isaiah 40:29-31
40:29. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
40:30. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
40:31. But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

      1 Chronicles 19:13
19:13. "Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight."

God's merciful hands are able to make the thing that has been broken become good, failure become success, the decay become fragrance, and impossible things become possible until we are changed to become as perfect as Him. We are worthy to greet Him when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds.

God blesses us.
