Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 13:8
13:8. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Lifeof the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Verse 5-8 = the condition of the Antichrist, namely having power in the deeds and words, so all who dwell on the earth worship him.
Who worships him? The people whose name is not written in the Book of Life worship the Antichrist.
Why is the name not written in the Book of Life?
- The idolatry (it has been explained in General Service in Malang, June 27, 2021).
- The unrighteousness in all things or being the unrighteous.
Psalm 69:28
69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, And not be written with the righteous.
ad. 2.
The unrighteous mean as follows:
- The servants of God who commit the sins or mistakes up to the peak, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
- The servants of God who do not want to repent.
- The servants of God who keep the sins up to the peak.
Therefore, we must make efforts to be the righteous so that our names are written in the Book of Life. We do not worship the Antichrist, but God, so we get the eternal life.
Not being the righteous, all things will be in vain and toward the everlasting perdition.
Who are the righteous?
Romans 3:9-183:9.What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.
3:10 As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one;
3:11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.
3:12 They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one."
3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit"; "The poison of asps is under their lips";
3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."
3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood;
3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
3:17 And the way of peace they have not known."
3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."
Since Adam and Eve committed sin and were cast out to enter the world, all men have sinned from top to toe. None is righteous except Jesus, who comes from heaven.
Thus, the righteous refer to the sinful that have been justified by Jesus to live in righteousness.
The process of being the righteous is as follows:
- Being justified by the redemption of the blood of Jesus. It happens through being reconciled.
Romans 3:23-26
3:23.for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
3:24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
3:25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
3:26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Being reconciled means confessing sins to God and others honestly as well as forgiving the sin of others and forgetting it. As a result, the blood of Jesus forgives our sin until there is no remnant of it anymore as if we had never done such sin.
After being forgiven, do not repeat the sin! We repent and return to God to get the deliverance from sins. We do not commit sin anymore although there is chance, profit, persecution, threat, and so on.
Being set free from sin, we can live in righteousness. It means that we become the righteous.
1 Corinthians 6:20
6:20.For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's!
1 Corinthians 7:23
7:23.You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.
We have been bought by the blood of Jesus. Not ministering to Him, one is unrighteous at all.
After the sinners are redeemed by the blood of Jesus until being the righteous, we must return our life to God through the following things:
- Being the servant of God who ministering to Him in faithfulness and righteousness.
- Glorifying God or doing His will.
Doing our own will or the one of others that is not in line with the Word will make God's heart grieved.
Being outside the will of God is the same as being the servant of man or Satan.
We do the will of God for glorifying Him until we are glorified in the world and someday we are also glorified with Him.
- Being justified because of faith.
Romans 3:28-30
3:28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faithapart from the deeds of the law.
3:29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,
3:30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.
Where can we get the faith from? We get it from the Word.
Romans 10:17
10:17.So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The true faith comes from hearing the Word of God, namely the Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit that cannot be limited by anything.
The steps of being justified by the faith are as follows:
- Being swift to hear.
James 1: 19-20
1:19.So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;
1:20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
It means as follows:
- Holy Spirit helps us to hear the true teaching Word or the solid food.
Hebrews 5:11-12
5:11.of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
5:12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
- Holy Spirit helps us to hear the teaching Word with seriousness and need, so we can understand the Word and it is written on our forehead.
The proof is being slow to wrath or able to control the burst emotion. We are also slow to speak. We do the introspection in our life much more.
- Holy Spirit helps us to receive the Word with a meek heart, so we can believe the Word and the true teaching Word becomes the true faith in our heart.
James 1:21
1:21.Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
The Word that becomes faith is implanted in the heart to result in the fruits of righteousness.
Be careful! Many people fall from faith although they have been saved and had the true faith.
For example, Judas Iscariot fell because of money.
Therefore, we must keep and increase the true faith to become the firm one through the true teaching Word that is repeated in the sheepfold by a pastor.
Philippians 3:1b
3:1b.For me to write the same thingsto you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.
The repeated teaching Word is the same as the shepherding Word.
The Word is repeated for giving us assurance of faith. This is the firm faith.
1 Peter 5:8-9
5:8.Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
5:9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
Therefore, we must be shepherded well and correctly so that we get the firm faith for facing the roaring lion.
The roaring lion means as follows:
- Impossible temptations in all aspects of life. Having the firm faith, we will keep on believing and hoping to God.
- Sins up to the peak. Having the firm faith, we will not commit any sin.
- The false teachings. Having the firm faith, we will keep on holding fast the true teaching Word.
- Something which causes the fear or distress. Having the firm faith, we will keep silent in the midst of the world. This is the strong foundation for receiving the promise and power of God.
The example is Abraham.
Romans 4:19-21
4:19.And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. 4:20 He did not waverat the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,
4:21 and being fully convincedthat what He had promised He was also able to perform.
Abraham had the firm faith, so he could be tested in facing the impossible problem until he received the promise and power of God for erasing the impossibility.
Keep on believing God regardless of any problem we must face! Keep on being patient and persevering in waiting for the promise of God.
The firm faith which is added with the mercy of God will create miracle. There are the opened doors of preservation, healing, and so on for us.
- Holy Spirit helps us to obey the Word or do the works of faith or righteousness.
James 1:22
1:22.But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
For example, Abraham obediently sacrificed his son. The righteous faith is tested to be firm. The firm faith will also be tested.
James 2:22
2:22.Do you see that faithwas working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
Abraham did the will of God and he met God, Jehovah Jireh.
It means the power to create something that does not exist yet or erase the impossibilities.
Keep the true faith through hearing the Word and being shepherded! Finally, obey the Word!
The works of faith are the same as the perfect faith, so we are as righteous as
Jesus is.
1 John 3:7
3:7Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
The position of the righteous is as follows:
- Being in the mind of God.
Psalm 112:6-7
112:6.Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.
112:7 He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
Therefore, the righteous always remember God and only rely on Him, so they cannot be shaken, but keep silent and quiet.
Being silent means doing the introspection in our life.
At that time, the impossible problems will be finished. Do not look at the waves, but God!
- Being in the heart of God.
Psalm 146:8
146:8.The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; The LORD raises those who are bowed down; The LORD loves the righteous.
God loves the righteous. It means that the righteous love God.
The proof is prioritizing the service and ministry to God or the true teaching Word more than anything.
The righteous also love other people.
The proof is not harming others, especially the fellow priests; even we can repay good for evil.
- Being in the eyes of God.
Psalm 34:15,17
34:15The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.
God pays attention to, cares, and struggles for the righteous.
As the righteous, our eyes are also on the Him. Our hands are lifted up to Him and our mouth cries out His name. As a result, He will deliver us from troubles.
- Being in the hands of God.
Psalm 37:17,23-24
37:17.For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the LORD upholds the righteous.
37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way.
37:24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand.
He always upholds us, so we will never be utterly cast down.
This is the position of the righteous, namely like a baby in the embrace of the merciful hands of God.
Isaiah 49:14-1649:14.But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me."
49:15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
49:16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
The baby in the embrace of God only cries and worships Him. God will be active in His heart, mind, eyes, and hands. He stretches out the merciful hands and power that is unbeatable.
The results are as follows:
- 'Your walls are continually before Me' = the miraculous protection and preservation of God in the midst of the difficulties and disasters in the world.
Physically, we are preserved abundantly until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world.
Spiritually, we keep on living in righteousness and holiness.
- The merciful hands of God are able to comfort and strengthen us so that we keep calm and joyful regardless of anything we must face.
- The merciful hands of God are able to do the thing we cannot do. He is able to erase the impossibility that comes to us.
- The merciful hands of God wash us. It means sanctifying and changing us until we are as perfect as He is.
Matthew 13:43
13:43."Then the righteous will shine forthas the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
We are worthy for welcoming His second coming. We are with Him in the heavenly kingdom forever.
God blesses you.
