Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 11:13-14111:13. In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.
11:14. The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly.
This is the second woe or the sixth trumpet, namely there is a great earthquake. It refers to the spiritual and physical shocks in the world and church of God because they reject the trumpet sound or the true teaching word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.
The spiritual and physical shock or earthquake causes three things as follows:
- A tenth of the city falls (it has been explained).
- Seven thousand people are killed.
- The rest are afraid and give glory to the God of heaven.
It refers to the shocks of the possession of God as follows:
- A tenth of the city falls= the tithe is shaken because of the will of money.
- Seven thousand people are killed= the house of God is shaken, so the shepherd becomes unfaithful.
- The rest are afraid and give glory to the God of heaven. It is about God's bride.
ad. 2The seven thousand people who are killed refer to the shock in the house of God.
1 Corinthians 3:163:16. Do you not know that you are the temple of Godand that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
1 Corinthians 6:19-206:19. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
6:20. For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
The temple of God is our life which has been redeemed and bought by the blood of Jesus. It is the place to minister to God up to the peak, namely worshipping Him. We have been bought by His blood, so we can minister to Him, so our ministry and worship are God's right and our absolute obligation to Him. We do not need to be redeemed by His blood just for studying in college.
We work and study earnestly but we must more earnestly minister to God.
We often almost give up when we cannot study in college because of its expensive cost but we never cry when we cannot minister and worship to God; even we laugh. It means that our life is in shock.
The consequences of being unfaithful in the ministry are as follows:
- We surely experience shocks in all things.
- We have the debt of the blood of Jesus which cannot be paid by anything. Our life is never easy but heavy laden.
- We worship the idol, so God gets jealous.
Exodus 20:4-5
20:4. " You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
20:5. you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
Song of Solomon 8:6
8:6. THE SHULAMITE TO HER BELOVED Set me as a seal upon your heart, As a seal upon your arm; For love is as strong as death, Jealousy as cruel as the grave; Its flames are flames of fire, A most vehement flame.
God loves us up to willingly dies on the cross. But, if He becomes jealous, He will destroy up to the hell like the seven thousand people who are killed in the earthquake.
1 Kings 19:1819:18. "Yet I have reserved seven thousandin Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him."
When the heart of Elijah laments because the Israelites worship Baal, God reserves seven thousand people who do not worship Baal but keep the house of God or keep ministering and worshipping to Him. The unfaithful shepherd is the big shock in the house of God. If the priests become unfaithful, the house of God will be shaken. But, there are men who keep the house of God.
The seven thousand people who are killed refer to one who rejects the trumpet sound (the true teaching word) and the true ministry. It is the same as breaking down the altar of God and worshipping Baal, especially Baal-Zebub.
2 Kings 1:5-61:5. And when the messengers returned to him, he said to them, "Why have you come back?"
1:6. So they said to him, "A man came up to meet us, and said to us, 'Go, return to the king who sent you, and say to him, "Thus says the LORD: 'Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending to inquire of Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'"'"
Baal-Zebub means lord or king of flies or husband.
Rejecting the true teaching and ministry is the same as worshipping Baal-Zebub, another king. It fights against the prayer of bride, namely the one to Jesus in the glory as the King of kings, Lord of lords, and the Bridegroom with the voice: "Alleluia".
Consequently, there is no anointing of Holy Spirit.
Ecclesiastes 10:110:1. Dead fliesputrefy the perfumer's ointment, And cause it to give off a foul odor; So does a little folly to one respected for wisdom and honor.
'
Dead flies' = king of flies or Satan.
Satan has been defeated by Jesus on the cross, but he does not admit it, so he disturbs the sons of God.
Jesus has bruised the serpent's head but its tail still moves.
Genesis 3:153:15. And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."
One who does not want to admit the defeat or mistake is the same as Baal-Zebub.
The King of flies or dead flies putrefies the perfumer's ointment. It means making the son of God lose the anointing of Holy Spirit, so he experiences spiritual dryness and becomes flesh and blood men (the acacia wood that is not overlaid).
Consequently, his ministry, worship, and marriage up to his whole life are broken and destroyed.
If the anointing oil is broken, we will become fool. It means that we are fooled by Satan.
Ecclesiastes 10:110:1. Dead flies putrefy the perfumer's ointment, And cause it to give off a foul odor; So does a little follyto one respected for wisdom and honor.
Be careful about working and mate! Do not be fooled by Satan because of following the lust of the flesh!
There are three kinds of foolishness as follows:
- One does not want to be shepherded well and correctly.
Ecclesiastes 10:2
10:2. A wise man's heart is at his right hand, But a fool's heart at his left.
'left' = the place of a selfish goat, namely looking for the thing that is comfortable for flesh (Matthew 25).
Not being shepherded means as follows:
- One does not want to enter into the sheepfold although God has provided it.
John 10:1-2
10:1. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
10:2 "But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
The sheepfold or the Holy Place refers to the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in committing the General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts.
We are given drink, so we experience heavenly satisfaction. We do not look for worldly satisfaction anymore.
- The Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in committing the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
We are given food, so we have strength. We do not fall into sin but keep ministering God until the finish line. We also experience the spiritual growth until being mature or perfect like Jesus.
- The Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in committing the Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love.
We breathe with the love of God up to eternal life.
A fool including the shepherd does not want to enter into the sheepfold or narrow gate. It means that they do not want to experience the suffering in the flesh for Jesus.
Let us tonight enter into the narrow gate, so we can be shepherded well.
Genesis 47:6
47:6. "The land of Egypt is before you. Have your father and brothers dwell in the best of the land; let them dwell in the land of Goshen. And if you know any competent men among them, then make them chief herdsmen over my livestock."
Pharaoh, the image of Satan, admits that the sheepfold is the best and eternal place. It is the same as being at Jesus' feet like Mary.
Luke 10:42
10:42. "But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."
Jesus' feet are the most promising and safest place. That is why we must be shepherded well and correctly.
1 Peter 5:8
5:8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
'he may devour' means that one becomes the same as Satan.
A fool means that one does not want to be shepherded but walks about.
Consequently, he meets lion or Satan who will break and destroy him.
There is no guarantee outside the sheepfold. He will be shaken and broken up to perdition forever.
- One does not want to hear and obey the voice of shepherd or eat the shepherding word. It is the foolishness.
John 10:3-4
10:3. "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
10:4. "And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
Consequently, the ministry, sacrifice, and prayer to God are just for worshipping Baal-Zebub.
For example, King Saul wanted to sacrifice, minister, and worship, but he just worshipped the idol because of disobedience.
1 Samuel 15:22-23
15:22. Then Samuel said: "Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.
15:23. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king."
Saul did not obey God because he heard the strange voice, namely false teaching, false advice, and the voice of flesh.
The strange voice looks more logical. At that time, Saul was pressed and the people were scattered from him, so he offered the burnt offering for God. It looked more logical, but it was not appropriate to God's word.
Further, Saul was blessed, so he won, but he took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things to sacrifice to the LORD. It looked more logical, economical, and profitable but it was not appropriate to God's word, so he was worshipping the idol.
Matthew 7:21-23
7:21. "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
7:22. "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
7:23. "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
The sheep know the voice of the shepherd. It means that if we obey or know God, He will know us. If we do not obey Him, He does not know us, and the door of heaven is closed.
- Evil and unclean heart. It starts from bad feeling, ill will, and hating or killing.
Proverbs 12:16
12:16. A fool's wrath is known at once, But a prudent man covers shame.
The bad feeling, ill will, and hating or killing are caused by the things as follows:
- From inside, namely prejudice.
- From outside, namely others' word and deed that harm us.
- Not accepting the true teaching word that is sharper than any two-edged sword that pierces our heart to purify us.
We must keep the things as follows:
- The shepherd may not preach the word with bad feeling, ill will, or hatred.
The word is true but the attitude is wrong. It causes the dead flies. It means that the anointing oil is gone, so one experiences the spiritual dryness and death.
The word of God loses its power to help the shepherd himself and the congregation, even it can be false teaching.
- The congregation may not hear the word with bad feeling, ill will, and hatred.
If we hear the word with bad feeling, the word will never become faith and love, but hatred up to hatred without a cause.
It has happened in the church of God at the first rain, and it will surely happen in the church of God at the last rain, moreover when the working of God grows.
Acts 5:29-33
5:29. But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather than men.
5:30. "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree.
5:31. "Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
5:32. "And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."
5:33. When they heard this, they were furiousand plotted to kill them.
Acts 6:1
6:1. Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution.
'the number of the disciples was multiplying' means that the working of God grows.
The Hellenists are the image of the servant of God, but they speak with the language of the Gentiles.
When the number of the congregation is multiplying and blessed by God, the evil heart will come as follows:
- Grumbling because of the word of purification.
- Starting to grumble because of physical thing.
- Secretly inducing
Acts 6:11
6:11 Then they secretly inducedmen to say, "We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God."
- Arresting the servants of God. It is the same as obstructing the building of the perfect body of Christ and entering into the one of Babylon that is headed up by Baal-Zebub.
Acts 6:12
6:12. And they stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes; and they came upon him, seized him, and brought him to the council.
1 Corinthians 1:10
1:10. Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
We must be in the anointing of Holy Spirit or purification by the true teaching word, so we are in the same mind and in the same judgment or one true teaching word, starting from marriage and shepherding.
If we are in the same mind and in the same judgment, we will be able to be in the same action, namely in the same ministry and in the same worship.
Jeremiah 32:39
32:39. 'then I will give them one heartand one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of themand their children after them.
'one way' means the good and true words and deeds that do not make the heart of God grieved, the heart of parents sore, and the heart of the shepherd lament until we can return good for evil.
The result is that God works for good up to our descendants.
- Being bound by money or the love of money. It is the same as worshipping the idol because of feeling that the life comes from money.
Luke 12:15,18-21
12:15. And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses."
12:18. "So he said, 'I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods.
12:19. 'And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry."'
12:20. "But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?'
12:21. "So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."
The facts found in being bound by money or worshipping the idol are as follows:
- Serving and ministering to God only to seek for money or being unfaithful up to leaving the ministry only to seek for money.
- Leaving faith or righteousness only to seek for money.
The examples are lying and not paying the debt.
- One falsely uses the blessings from God, namely using money only for worldly thing, not the heavenly one.
- Stinginess and greediness.
Stinginess means that one cannot give to the work of God and others who are in need.
Greediness means that one robs others' especially God's, namely the tithe and special offerings.
Consequently, one loses the anointing of Holy Spirit like Judas Iscariot, so his life suffers up to perdition.
Let us be a wise man, namely we feel more blessed to give than to receive until we surrender our whole life to God.
Jesus must be obedient to the point of death on the cross to fight against the foolishness from Satan. He becomes fool, so we are not fooled by Satan, but we have the wisdom and power from God. This is the only way.
1 Corinthians 1:18,22-241:18. For the message of the cross is foolishnessto those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1:22. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;
1:23. but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,
1:24. but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Tonight, one of the forms of the cross is the Holy Communion.
1 Corinthians 10:14-1710:14. Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.
10:15. I speak as to wise men; judge for yourselves what I say.
10:16. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
10:17. For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread.
In the Holy Communion, all foolishness and idolatry are taken away. The Holy Communion unifies us in one perfect body of Christ. It starts from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding until the Israelites and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ or the heavenly bride who can worship Jesus as King of kings and Heavenly Bridegroom.
The important thing is that we examine ourselves by the sword of the word, so we truly receive the power and wisdom of God.
One body means one voice.
Revelation 19:6-719:6. And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7. "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
We do not worship the king of flies, but Jesus as the King of kings, Lord of lords, and Heavenly Bridegroom by saying: "Alleluia". This is the wisdom, and we surely receive the power.
The results are as follows:
- The power of victory.
Psalm 44:4
44:4. You are my King, O God; Command victories for Jacob.
Jacob struggles in his whole life.
No matter struggles we have, God will give the victory as follows:
- The victory over sin, so we can live in righteousness and holiness, starting from our mind.
God remembers, cares, understands, and struggles for us, so we win.
- The victory over problem and temptation. All problems are finished in His time.
- The power of protecting, bringing up, and taking care of us in the midst of the difficulties in the world.
Ephesians 5:28-29
5:28. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
5:29. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church
The king of flies makes the world hard, but God takes care of us abundantly. We just give thanks.
Do not be afraid, but keep watchful! Above all, God protects us.
God warms and beautifies us. He also makes us faithful and fervent in the ministry until the finish line.
- The power of purification and renewal.
Ephesians 5:26-27
5:26. that He might sanctifyand cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
5:27. that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
When we worship God, He comes down directly to remember and care for us.
We experience the purification by water baptism and the teaching word until the mouth does not kiss Baal. It means that we become honest.
1 Kings 19:18
19:18. "Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him."
It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to become as perfect as He is. We do not stumble in words. We just say: "Alleluia" to greet His coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses us.
