Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 19:11-16 refers to the second coming of Jesus in the glory of the King of kings and the High Priest who is Faithful and True.
Revelation 19:1219:12. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.Psalm 11:411:4. The LORD is in His holy temple, The LORD'S throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.Jesus' eyes are like a flame of fire. His eyes behold or remember and His eyelids test or purify His church.
The three kinds of the fiery trial or purification that must be faced by the servant of God are as follows:
- The fiery trial in the true and good shepherding. It is like a flame of fire from the midst of a bush, but the bush is not consumed.
Exodus 3:1-3,5
3:1. Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
3:2. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.
3:3. Then Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn."
3:5. Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground."
The bush refers to the fleshly man who is purified by the fires of the Word of God, Holy Spirit, and God's love through the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God--the sheepfold. It is the great sight in the last days when the fleshly men can persevere in the three kinds of main service as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in committing the General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts. We experience the purification by the fire of Holy Spirit.
- The Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in committing the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ (Holy Communion). We experience the purification by the fire of God's love.
- The Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in committing the Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love. We experience the purification by the fire of God's love.
Exodus 3:5
3:5. Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground."
As a result, Moses took his sandals off his feet. Now, it means that we experience the sanctification of the physical and spiritual life, so we are like newborn babes.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- We have no reputation like newborn babes who do not have anything. It means that we become doulos. Doulosmeans as follows:
- The servant who does his duty without demanding the right. If we demand the right, we will surely make the heart of God grieved and embarrass Him. We cannot glamorize and glorify God. The example is demanding the right about money, respect, et cetera.
- The servant of God who glorifies Him.
Isaiah 49:3-4
49:3. "And He said to me, 'You are My servant, O Israel, In whom I will be glorified.'
49:4. Then I said, 'I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and in vain; Yet surely my just reward is with the LORD, And my work with my God.'"
If we have glorified and glamorized God, our sacrifices will not be in vain. Our reward and work are in the hand of God for life now up to eternal life. God never lies. He will surely give it to us.
- Becoming as new born babes means that we do not sin up to being unable to commit sin anymore. We become perfect like Jesus is. The great sight which was seen by Moses will be fulfilled in the great sight in heaven. One who is perfect like Jesus is will be shown as a woman with the light of the moon, sun, and stars.
Revelation 12:1
12:1. Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
Matthew 5:14-16
5:14. "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
5:15. "Nor do they light a lampand put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
5:16. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
The light of testimony starts from marriage or household. A husband loves his wife as he loves himself. A wife must submit to her husband. The children obey their parents. The darkness of basket, namely economy cannot destroy the household which has the light. We are taken care of by God. The darkness of bed, namely sins up to the peak cannot destroy us. We can keep living in righteousness and holiness. Such life will not stumble or fall, so he can become the light before men; even the light of the world.
- We experience the suffering of the flesh or the test of the purification by a flame of fire. It is like the burning fiery furnace that is heated seven times. It means suffering in the flesh because of Jesus until the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
Daniel 3:16-18
3:16. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
3:17. "If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
3:18. "But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."
The Antichrist comes with temptation, problem, and the impossible difficulties that cannot be finished by anything, including sins up to the peak--sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage--, false teaching, and idolatry--worshipping the Antichrist or money or Mammon.
The problems of marriage and ministry are hard to be advised. The false marriage and ministry will be kept by the hard-heart. If we want to become gentle, we will surely be able to receive the advice.
Worshipping Mammon means that men legalize all ways to get money by corruption, stealing, and lying. It includes the offers with the unreasonable benefit, the debt that is very easy to get but the return is unreasonable, et cetera. Besides, there are people who minister to God to get money, or leave the ministry to get money. The fact is that men become greedy and stingy.
Stinginess means that one cannot give for others who are in need.
Greediness means that one steals the possession of God and others.
The purpose of Satan who uses the impossible temptations, sins up to the peak, and the false teaching is making Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego--all of us--not hold fast God's command, but start hearing the other voice. At last men do not believe in Jesus, but reject the true teaching. Not believing means not having faith to Jesus or the true teaching Word. They fall from the true faith, and fall into the false worship, namely the one to the Antichrist. They become the same as the Antichrist up to perdition in the hell forever.
God's eyes are like a flame of fire that tests us.
God allows the fiery trial or a flame of fire, namely the sprinkle of blood to happen to us to purify us from the lusts of the flesh. Thus, we can receive and obey the will of God. We can hold fast the only one true teaching Word. We can enter the true worship. We worship Jesus as the King of kings and the High Priest.
Daniel 3:24-25,27
3:24. Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?" They answered and said to the king, "True, O king."
3:25. "Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."
3:27. And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king's counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.
Jesus as the High Priest and the King of kings will always be with us. Three men were bound into the midst of the fire, but the king saw four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire. It means that we are protected and taken care of miraculously by the High Priest although we live in the midst of the increasing difficulties of the world. We are protected and taken care of until the Antichrist reigns over the world. We are not only taken care of physically, but also spiritually as follows:
- 'the hair of their head was not singed' means that we can keep submitting and obeying God. We do not rebel.
- 'nor were their garments affected' means that we keep ministering to God faithfully and fervently until He comes a second time.
- 'the smell of fire was not on them' means that there is no decay because of sin. We keep living in righteousness and holiness.
All of impossible problems can be finished by Jesus as the High Priest. Three men were bound into the midst of the fire that was heated seven times more than it was usually heated, but they could get out safely and completely. Jesus is also able to give the successful and beautiful future in His time no matter our limitation is. We can become God's witness to glorify and glamorize the name of God.
Daniel 3:29
3:29. "Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this."
- Jesus will come a second time in His power and flaming fire--the glory of God.
Matthew 24:30
24:30. "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
2 Thessalonians 1:7
1:7. and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
The church of God or the servants of God will experience the purification and renewal by the flame of fire of the glory of God.
What must be renewed?
Matthew 24:32
24:32. "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
Isaiah 57:15
57:15. For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
We must experience the renewal of life from the hard heart to the broken heart. The contrite heart is close to God's hand.
The meanings of the broken heart are as follows:
- We always long for the true teaching Word that purifies us from sins up to the peak, so we can live in holiness.
Psalm 119:20
119:20. My soul breaks with longing For Your judgments at all times.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12. for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
The holy man can be used in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ. We must be used by God, so we are not used by Babylon but our life is put in order, laid out neatly, and beautiful in due time.
- We truly appreciate and exalt Christ's sacrifice on the cross. It means falling on the chief cornerstone. We put Christ's sacrifice on the cross as a base for our life, marriage, and ministry.
Luke 20:17-18
20:17. Then He looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written: 'The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone'?
20:18. "Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder."
If we really appreciate and exalt Christ's sacrifice, we will never be broken. Jesus as the chief cornerstone becomes our base.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- David had done evil and unclean sin by falling in adultery with Bathsheba and killing her husband. The Word came to David, and he confessed his sin.
The Word shows our sin, so we can realize, regret, and confess our sin to God and others. As a result, we are forgiven by the blood of Jesus, so we must repent and live in righteousness. We become precious life before God, and we are defended by Him.
Psalm 51:1,16-17
51:1. <<To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.>> Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.
51:16. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering.
51:17. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart--These, O God, You will not despise.
- We experience the renewal of life from the fear of men to the one of God. The fear of God means becoming honest and obedient. We are close with the throne of God.
Luke 20:19
20:19. And the chief priests and the scribes that very hour sought to lay hands on Him, but they feared the people--for they knew He had spoken this parable against them.
Revelation 22:1
22:1. And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
If we are close to the throne of God, there will be the river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God to our life. The water of life refers to Holy Spirit. If we fear God, Holy Spirit will control our life.
Isaiah 57:15-19
57:15. For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
57:16. For I will not contend forever, Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would fail before Me, And the souls which I have made.
57:17. For the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry and struck him; I hid and was angry, And he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.
57:18. I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, And restore comforts to him And to his mourners.
57:19. "I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near," Says the LORD, "And I will heal him."
The usefulnesses of Holy Spirit--the results of having Holy Spirit--are as follows:
- Holy Spirit gives the extra power and comforts us, so we do not get disappointed and desperate in facing against anything. We can keep being strong and of good courage. We keep trusting and hoping God.
- Holy Spirit is able to heal us. He finishes the disease that cannot be healed, including the impossible problems in our life. Both physical and spiritual diseases will be healed, so we experience peace. All things become easy and light.
The spiritual disease is bitterness, sadness, and ill will.
- Holy Spirit is able to unify us. The far becomes near, namely the Israelites and the Gentiles can be put together to become one perfect body of Christ. We are perfected to greet Jesus when He comes a second time until we enter the New Jerusalem forever. We are strong and of good courage to wait for His second coming.
God blesses us.
