Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 16:8
16:8. Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.
The fourth bowl is poured out on the sun to scorch men with fire.
The meanings of fire are as follows:
- The fire of purification.
Malachi 3:2
3:2. "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire And like launderer's soap.
- The fire of the glory of God's presence.
Acts 7:30-32
7:30. "And when forty years had passed, an Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire in a bush, in the wilderness of Mount Sinai.
7:31. "When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he drew near to observe, the voice of the Lord came to him,
7:32. "saying, 'I am the God of your fathers--the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' And Moses trembled and dared not look.
- The fire as the result of the answer of prayer.
1 Kings 18:38
18:38. Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench.
- The fire of punishment in the world.
Revelation 16:8
16:8. Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.
- The fire of eternal punishment in the hell.
Revelation 20:10, 15
20:10. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
20:15. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
If we receive the fire of God's love that purifies and purges our life, we will feel the glory of His presence. Our prayer is also answered by God. We become the house of prayer.
But if we reject the fire of God's love, we will experience the fire of punishment in the world up to the hell.
There are five things that are punished by the scorching fire as follows:
- The sin up to the peak like Sodom and Gomorrah.
- The priests or servants of God who minister to God with the profane fire like Nadab and Abihu.
- The priests or servants of God who are greedy.
- The priests or servants of God who usually leave the ministry.
- The people who like to oppress and persecute.
Ad.2. The priests or servants of God who minister to God with the profane fire.
Leviticus 10:1-210:1. Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them.
10:2. So fire went out from the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.1 John 2:15-172:15. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
2:16. For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world.
2:17. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. The fire of the world means as follows:
- The lust of the flesh, namely emotion.
- The lust of the eyes, namely ambition.
- The pride of life, namely arrogance or one wants to manage others.
If we minister with the fire of God's love, the one of the world will not be with us. We do God's will, so we live in the divine light until we shine forth as the sun and live in heaven forever.
Matthew 13:43 13:43. "Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!Matthew 13:39-4213:39. "The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.
13:40. "Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.
13:41. "The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,
13:42. "and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.Ministering with the profane fire or the one of the world will look great at the beginning as well as having progress that can be shown. But at last he cannot appear in the divine light. He follows the darkness of the world until he is scorched by the sun [Revelation 16:8].
Exodus chapter 25-40 are about the Tabernacle teaching. The center is doing God's will in the pattern of the heavenly kingdom. Those who do the will of God will live forever. [1 John 2:17]
The process of doing God's will or living in the pattern of the heavenly kingdom is as follows:
- Hearing the true teaching Word solemnly and with a need until we understand it. It means that the knowledge is added to us.
Luke 8:18
8:18. "Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him."
- Believingin the Word, so it becomes faith in the heart. It means that the faith is added to us.
The faith is a brake so that we do not commit sin.
- Practicingthe Word. As a result, we become wise, namely our deeds and words are full of the heavenly wisdom.
Matthew 7:24-257:24. "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
7:25. "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. The wise man builds his house on the rock, so it can endure against the great temptation of the trinity of Satan. It does not fall or get the destruction.
Proverbs 9:1 9:1. Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars;Building on the rock with the seven pillars is up to perfection like Jesus.
James 3:17 3:17. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure(1), then peaceable(2), gentle(3), willing to yield(4), full of mercy and good fruits(5), without partiality(6)and without hypocrisy(7).Matthew 7:26-277:26. "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
7:27. "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."
Not obeying God is the same as building the house on the sand. It surely falls and gets the destruction.
John 5:24 5:24. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. The true teaching Word has the power of resurrection to move the sinner or falling building from death to eternal life.
John 12:47-4812:47. "And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
12:48. "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.Jesus has come to the world to reveal God's love and will, including the pattern of the heavenly kingdom through His Word or the true teaching Word to save and perfect the sinner. He does not come to the world to punish. That is why we must receive the true teaching Word.
If one rejects the true teaching, it will judge him in the world [Revelation 16:8-9] up to the hell.
1 John 3:9 3:9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.If we receive the Word, we will be purified. We do not sin anymore up to being unable to sin. We are perfect like Jesus is.
Men indeed only have emotion, ambition, and the pride of life, but it must be controlled by the true teaching Word or God's will or faith, so we can be used as the tool in the hand of God.
The results are as follows:
- Emotion and ambition are changed into Holy Spirit's gift that determines the ministry. We are used in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ.
- The pride of life is changed into being lowly in heart, namely we confess that we are unworthy and unable, so we just rely on God and the anointing of Holy Spirit.
The usefulnesses of Holy Spirit are as follows:
- Holy Spirit puts to death the deeds of the flesh or sin, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
1 John 3:9
3:9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
- We can be faithful and fervent in the ministry until the finish line.
Romans 12:11
12:11. not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
- Holy Spirit burns or purifies the Gentiles.
Romans 15:16
15:16. that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
We become honest and obedient. The physical miracle surely happens. Nothing is impossible for God.
It continues until we are changed to become perfect to greet Jesus when He comes a second time and we receive the eternal life. [1 John 2:17].
God blesses us.
