Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
There are four appearances of Jesus in the glory [Revelation 1:13-16] as follows.
- [verse 13] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as The High Priest.
- [verse 14] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as The King of all kings.
- [verse 15] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as The Just Judge.
- [verse 16] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as The Heavenly Bridegroom.
ad. 4. The appearance of Jesus in the glory as The Heavenly Bridegroom.
Revelation 1:161:16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two–edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. The appearance of Jesus in His glory as the Heavenly Bridegroom has these signs.
- He had in His right hand seven stars.
- Out of His mouth went a sharp two–edged sword.
- His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
We are still learning the third sign, namely His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
We can look at Jesus’ face that is like the sun shining in its strength in the preaching of the Word and the worship prayer, so that we can feel the renewal from fleshy man to spiritual one as Jesus is, starting from the face. There are five senses on our face.
The renewal to the five senses equals to the building of Tabernacle in the days of Moses and the building of the spiritual temple or the perfect body of Christ.
Exodus 25:1-7
25:1 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:
25:2 "Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering.
25:3 "And this is the offering which you shall take from them: gold, silver, and bronze;
25:4 "blue, purple, and scarlet thread, fine linen, and goats' hair;
25:5 "ram skins dyed red, badger skins, and acacia wood;
25:6 "oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense;
25:7 "onyx stones, and stonesto be set in the ephod and in the breastplate. The materials for building the Tabernacle are as follows.
- Metalssuch as gold, silver, and brass for building the framework of the Tabernacle that refers to a firm standing or faith confession.
Romans 10:9-10
10:9that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Our mouth must confess that Jesus is the Lord and our Savior.
- Incenseto produce fragrance.
It refers to the nose.
- Four-footed animal. The skinis used, referring to the sense of touch.
- Stones.
Proverbs 25:12
25:12 Like an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold Is a wise rebuker to an obedient ear.
They are used for the earrings that refer to an obedient ear.
- Shellswhich produce the material for coloring. It refers to the eyes.
Formerly, the materials were submitted for building the tabernacle.
Now they mean that the five senses must be submitted to God for being renewed and built as the perfect body of Christ.
The physical temple must be fallen down, so that the spiritual temple can be built.
The renewal to the five senses is as follows.
- The renewal of our eyes.
Mark 13:1-2
13:1 Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, "Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!"
13:2 And Jesus answered and said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down."
The fleshy eye only looks at physical things, so the service to God will only look at physical things also. Consequently, the spirituality and faith fall.
The renewed eyes will only look at the prophetic Word although the physical things must be sacrificed.
2 Peter 1:19
1:19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heedas a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;
The prophetic Word is the Word preaching all things that have not happened yet, but will happen for sure in the last days, especially about Jesus’ second coming in the glory as the King of all kings and Heavenly Bridegroom. It is needed to sanctify and renew our life until we can be as glorious as Jesus is to be the bride of heaven. It is also called as the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword or Bride Tidings.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
If we take heed to the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword or Bride Tidings, the light of the glory of Christ will light our dark heart. After our heart is sanctified and renewed by the Bride Tidings, it will radiate the light through the right, holy, and good deeds and words. The light will be brighter day by day to make us appear as follows.
- The light or lamp in household.
- The light before all people.
- The light of the world or the bright morning star in our heart.
- The renewal of our ears.
Mark 13:7
13:7 "But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet.
The fleshy ears like to hear gossips causing strife and war between siblings or congregation in church, and inter-church.
The renewed ears like to hear the true teaching Word and obey it.
Disobedience will turn the atmosphere of paradise to curse, weariness, heavy burden, labor, tears, up to perdition. One who disobeys the Word once will lose the atmosphere of paradise and get the sorrow or labor up to perdition.
Jesus is obedient to the point of death on the cross with bearing the curse to open the door of paradise. The one who was crucified besides Jesus was cursed and sorrowful, but he could return to paradise because of his obedience.
Luke 2:20
2:20 Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.
If the ears hear and obey the true teaching Word and the eyes only look at the prophetic Word, we will be used as the shepherd or the ones who are shepherded well and correctly.
2 Peter 2:7-8
2:7and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked
2:8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds) ––
The condition of the church in the last days is as the days of Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah, namely there are many unclean and wicked deeds anywhere.
We must be shepherded by seeing, hearing, and obeying the shepherding Word, so that our soul is not tormented in the last days.
The results are as follows.
- There is peace in the midst of stormy seas that is raging.
It means that we do not feel anything that our flesh feels, such as uncleanness, bitterness, anxiety, and emotion, but we only love God.
- Protection from the atmosphere of Sodom and Gomorrah, namely the atmosphere of evil and uncleanness, and sins up to the peak, that is the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. As a result, we can live in righteousness and holiness.
We are also protected from the condemnation of God which is to come, namely the fire from heaven that will devour the world and the one by the hell fire forever, so that we are saved and blessed by God forever.
- The renewal of mouth.
Mark 13:11
13:11 "But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
The fleshy mouth lies many times and speaks incorrectly, so one makes Holy Spirit grieve. Consequently, there is only sorrow, no joy anymore, until Holy Spirit is quenched. Finally, one blasphemes Holy Spirit, even does not confess the sin, but blames others.
The renewed mouth is anointed by Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:25-26, 29
4:25 Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
4:26 "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath,
4:29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
The mouth that is anointed by Holy Spirit will speak correctly and well to become blessings for others and build their faith. Being honest means being the house of prayer, saying 'yes' if 'yes', and 'no' if 'no', in the matters of teaching, marriage, and finance. If we can be honest in these three things, we will be honest in everything.
- The renewal of nose.
Mark 13:18-19
13:18 "And pray that your flight may not be in winter.
13:19 "For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be.
The fleshy nose likes to smell bad odor or the aroma of death, so the spirituality is dead and one cannot worship God.
The renewed nose likes to smell the sweet smelling aroma of incense or the aroma of life. It means that our spirituality is alive to make us fervent in spirit worshiping God in the true worship.
Revelation 19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
It will peak on our worship to Jesus, The King of all kings or Heavenly Bridegroom, with saying "Alleluia", according to our death and resurrection experience together with the Lord.
Revelation 19:1,3,4
19:1After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
19:3 Again they said, "Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!"
19:4 And the twenty–four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!"
It is a new song or our private experience with the Lord that cannot be learnt by others.
The sequence of the true worship saying "Alleluia" is as follows.
- Private worship.
- Worship in the marriage or household.
- Worship in the shepherding.
- Worship inter-shepherding.
- Worship in the one perfect body of Christ or Heavenly Bride on the glorious clouds up to the one in heavenly throne forever.
If the worship is false, it will aim at the worship to the antichrist.
Beware! Do not feel forced in worshiping God because someday you will be forced to worship the antichrist.
The true worship is as follows.
- The process to tear the flesh in order to smell the sweet smelling aroma and produce it by being blessings for others.
- The process to tear the flesh to receive the love of God that is as the shining sun we need especially to face the spiritual winter in the last days.
Matthew 24:12
24:12 "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
The lawlessness abounds when the love grows cold. It happens from the marriage, so there is strife, violence, sexual affairs, divorce, remarrying, and marrying-being given in marriage. The rebellion continues in the shepherding or the service and ministry to God. For example, Judas was in the sheepfold, but he was an intruder because his heart was not inside the sheepfold or he was not serious. His heart was hard and he was not shepherded. He kept his sin and did not confess it although the Word had pointed it in his life. Consequently, Judas sold Jesus or became the same as the antichrist.
There will be two possibilities in the days of the antichrist as follows.
- The people who keep on worshiping God will be persecuted and become the target of the antichrist, even they are beheaded. As a result, they will be resurrected when Jesus comes a second time.
- The biggest part is the people who become persecutors like Judas who sold Jesus. They become the same as the antichrist to perish forever.
- The renewal of skin.
Mark 13:21-23
13:21 "Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, He is there!’ do not believe it.
13:22 "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
13:23 "But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.
The skin must be renewed by Holy Spirit to face and defeat false teachings.
1 John 2:26-27
2:26 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.
2:27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
If our skin is anointed by Holy Spirit, we will have sensitive and firm feelings to hold fast to the true teaching Word, regardless of any risk, and to reject other teachings that cause deception.
If our five senses are renewed, the building of the body of Christ will be finished and the clouds of glory will come down.
Exodus 40:33-34
40:33 And he raised up the court all around the tabernacle and the altar, and hung up the screen of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.
40:34 Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle,The functions of the clouds of glory are as follows.
- The two hands of God that are stretched are able to preserve our physical life in the midst of difficulties and impossibilities in the world.
Exodus 16:7-8
16:7 "And in the morning you shall see the glory of the LORD; for He hears your complaints against the LORD. But what are we, that you complain against us?"
16:8 Also Moses said, "This shall be seen when the LORD gives you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to the full; for the LORD hears your complaints which you make against Him. And what are we? Your complaints are not against us but against the LORD."
The two mighty and merciful hands of God are able to preserve our spiritual life through the Word or manna, so that we can feel the satisfaction of heaven, and we do not murmur, but give thanks always to God.
A man is permitted to be in hunger and difficulty to make him appreciate the Word and confess that he lives by the strong and merciful hand of God.
- The two hands of God that are stretched are able to resurrect Lazarus who has been dead for four days. It means that the destroyed things can be made good, the impossible can be made possible, and tears or sorrows can be turned to joy.
John 11:32,38-40,42
11:32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."
11:38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.
11:39 Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."
11:40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"
11:42 "And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me."
A woman often faces impossible problem and tears to make her fall down at Jesus’ feet more.
- The two mighty and merciful hands of God are able to change our life from fleshy man to spiritual one as Jesus is, namely we are obedient.
Mark 13:26-27
13:26 "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
13:27 "And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.
1 Peter 5:5-6
5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
The obedience means we lift up our two hands to God to fully trust and entrust or surrender to Him. As a result, the two hands of God are able to lift us up right in His time.
1 Thessalonians 4:14-18
4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. ?
4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
4:18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
The dead will be resurrected in the body of glory and the alive will be changed in the body of glory. Both will be one body of glory and there is no more tear.
God blesses you.
