Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 9:15
9:15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.
The four angels of war are Satan, Antichrist, false prophet, and son or servant of God who is controlled by Antichrist, so he lies and hates others.
The four angels of war are ready to use every year, month, day, and hour to destroy the men in the world.
Therefore, we must use every year, month, day, and hour of the lengthening of God's patience to enter the spiritual war as follows:
- Repenting or stopping sinning and returning to God.
- Working in the vineyard.
Matthew 20:6,12
20:6 "And about the eleventh hourhe went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, 'Why have you been standing here idle all day?'
20:12. "saying, 'These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.'
The Gentiles must use every hour to work in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ. It starts from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, until the Israelites and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ.
What do we have to do in an hour?Matthew 26:40-42
26:40. Then He came to the disciples and found them asleep, and said to Peter, "What? Could you not watch with Me one hour?
26:41. "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
26:42. Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done."
We must watch and pray. The prayer of Gethsemane is useful to receive extra power from God, so we do not leave God and we are able to face the sprinkle of blood until the time of the pre-persecution of Antichrist.
Why do we need the prayer of Gethsemane or to pray an hour?
- Making us endure in facing anything, so we do not deny God.
- We need to pray an hour, so we are protected by God from the great war.
- We need to pray an hour, so we are not destroyed along with Babylon.
Revelation 18:10,16
18:10. "standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.'
18:16. "and saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls!
There are three kinds of men who are dragged by Babylon as follows:
- The kings [Revelation 18:9].
- The merchants of the earth [ Revelation 18:11].
- The shipmaster [ Revelation 18:17].
ad. 1. The kingsRevelation 18:9
18:9. "The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning,
The kings refer to position in the world and heaven, namely the priests and kings.
If our position in the world is not followed by our position in heaven, we are surely dragged and destroyed with Babylon in an hour.
Revelation 20:6
20:6. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
Revelation 22:3,5
22:3. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:5. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
If our position in the world is followed by our position in heaven, we will not be dragged by Babylon.
Matthew 5:13-15
5:13. "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
5:14. "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
5:15. "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. The positions of the priest and king are the same as the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
The salt and the light are cheap and underestimated in the world but their position is higher than anything because they are needed by all men in the world.
Likewise, we must willingly be underestimated to become the salt and the light. We have to be simple. Do not be arrogant by feeling so great ! Do not be self-assertive!
The salt of the earth has been explained in General Service in Malang, July 14, 2019.
Now, we learn about
the light of the world.
Why do we have to become the light of the world?
- The light of the world is the one that is mostly needed in the last days where crisis happens in all aspects of life and sins mount up to the peak, namely the sins of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
Luke 21:25-26
21:25. "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
21:26. "men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.
- We must become the light of the world, so we can be perfected like Jesus.
John 9:5
9:5. "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
Matthew 5:14
5:14. "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Romans 13:11-14
13:11. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
13:12. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
13:13. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
13:14. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
The source of the light is the trinity of God, namely the Lord Jesus Christ. We must put on the armor of light, namely the Lord Jesus Christ.
Where can we put on the armor of light? In the shepherding or perseverance in committing three kinds of main service as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in committing the General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts. If we persevere in it, it will become Aaron's rod that budded, sprouted, and yielded fruits until we have a garland of twelve stars.
- The Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in committing the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ. If we persevere in it, it will become golden pot that had the manna in Tabernacle, namely the stable and perfect faith until we have the moon under our feet that refers to perfect redemption.
- The Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in committing the Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love. If we persevere in it, it will become the two tablets of stone, namely perfect love.
We can love and prioritize God more than anything. We can love others as we love ourselves; even we can love our enemy until we have the light of the sun.
In the sheepfold, we experience three kinds of the enhancement of the light as follows:
- The light of the candlestick.
Matthew 5:15
5:15. "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
How poor a household is, it surely has the light.
The terms are as follows:
- The candlestick is put on a lampstand. It means that the position in marriage must be true.
1 Corinthians 11:2-3
11:2. Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you.
11:3. But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
The arrangement of the true marriage is that the head of a husband is Christ, and the head of a wife and the child is the husband.
The husband as the head means as follows:
- He becomes the flow of physical and spiritual life or the ministry.
- He considers and decides all things based on Christ or the true teaching word.
The decision of a shepherd is up to the afterlife, especially about marriage.
A wife as the body or side means that she covers the weakness of her husband and child through the prayer.
A child as the part of the body means easing the parent's burden.
- The flax must be willingly burned.
Jesus willingly dies on the cross to redeem the sins of man.
Ephesians 5:22-24
5:22. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
5:23. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
5:24. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
It starts from a wife who must submit to her husband in all things. She does not resist against, rebel, teach, nor have authority over him.
If a wife submits to her husband, she will attract God's mercy to save the marriage.
To be able to submit to the husband, she indeed must sacrifice even her life like Jesus.
Ephesians 5:25-27
5:25. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
5:26. that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
5:27. that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
A husband loves his wife as he loves himself and does not do bitterly toward her until he sacrifices his life.
As a result, God takes care of, blesses, and purifies the marriage up to perfection.
A child must obey the parents.
The parents may not provoke their child, lest he becomes discouraged.
If a marriage has a lamp, it can be used to face against the darkness of basket (economy) and bed (sin of fornications).
- The light before men.
Matthew 5:16
5:16. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Ephesians 5:8-9
5:8. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
5:9. (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
It means as follows:
- The light of righteousness.
We live in righteousness and hold fast the true teaching word, so we become the armor of righteousness.
- The light of goodness. We do not repay evil for evil, but repay good for evil.
- The light of truth. We are not on the side of others but God.
Psalm 37:25-26
37:25. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
37:26. He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.
As a result, we will be blessed by God and become blessing to the others.
- The light of the world.
Matthew 5:14
5:14. "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Revelation 12:1
12:1. Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moonunder her feet, and on her head a garland of twelvestars.
A woman with the light of the sun, moon, and star is the church of God who has been perfected like Jesus.
Revelation 12:2-3
12:2. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
12:3. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
She is powerless and will give birth while she is facing a great, fiery red dragon. The thing that we can do is only groaning and crying to God. We confess that we are powerless and unworthy.
Revelation 12:13-14
12:13. Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.
12:14. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
God will give the two wings of a great eagle. The brighter our light, the bigger the wings of a great eagle.
The usefulness of the two wings of a great eagle is as follows:
- Protecting and taking care of our life in the midst of difficulties and shocks in the world.
We can give thanks to God.
Psalm 17:7-8
17:7. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.
17:8. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
- Supporting us. It means that the two wings of a great eagle bring us near to God. It brings us to pass the storm in the ocean of the world.
All problems are finished. We experience peace, great calm, and all things become easy and light.
Exodus 19:4
19:4. 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself.
- Giving extra power, so we become strong and of good courage to face Jesus' second coming.
Isaiah 40:29-31
40:29. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
40:30. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
40:31. But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
It continues until the two wings of a great eagle make us fly to the glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time.
God blesses us.
