Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 13:11

13:11. Then I saw another
beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.
13:12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Verse 11-18 = the appearance of the false prophets.
Verse 11 = the false prophets refer to the beast coming up out of the earth with the two horns like a lamb and speaking like a dragon.
It refers to the falsity, especially the false teachings. The voice of the dragon is the source of the falsity which is contradictory to the Word of God, so the servants of God doubt to the true teaching Word and depart from faith or leave the true teaching (it has been explained from Bible Study Service in Malang, July 6, 2021 to General Service in Malang, July 11, 2021).

Verse 12 = the false prophets exercise all the authority of the Antichrist for persuading and forcing men, including the church, for worshiping the Antichrist whose deadly wound was healed.
It is the same as the false worship or the worship to the Antichrist.

Thus, the false teachings encourage men to enter the false worship.
On the contrary, the true teaching Word encourages us to enter the true worship to God.

Thus, there are two kinds of worship as follows:

  1. The false worship or the one which is not in line to the true teaching Word.
    It means as follows:

    • Idolatry or the worship to other gods as follows:

      1. Worshiping animal like the Israelites who worshiped the golden calf.
      2. Worshiping men.
        Acts 14:11

14:11.Now when the people saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices, saying in the Lycaonian language, "The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!"

'The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men' = the idolatry as the worship to men because of the power. Actually, only God is powerful. Nevertheless, the idolatry means worshiping men, not God.

        Acts 12:22
12:22.And the people kept shouting, "The voice of a god and not of a man!"

The worship to men happens because of the power, position, and riches in the world.

      3. Worshiping angel.
        Colossians 2:18

2:18.Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

      4. Worshiping demons.
        Leviticus 17:7
17:7"They shall no more offer their sacrifices to demons, after whom they have played the harlot. This shall be a statute forever for them throughout their generations." '

The idolatry is the same as the spiritual harlotry.

    • The worship of tradition.
      John 4:20-21
4:20."Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship."
4:21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in
      Jerusalem, worship the Father.

      It means as follows:

      1. Worshiping on the mountain.
The mountain near Samaria is Mount Gerizim.

        Joshua 8:33
8:33Then all Israel, with their elders and officers and judges, stood on either side of the ark before the priests, the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, the stranger as well as he who was born among them. Half of them were in front of Mount Gerizimand half of them in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.

        Deuteronomy 11:29
11:29"Now it shall be, when the LORD your God has brought you into the land which you go to possess, that you shall put the blessing on Mount Gerizimand the curse on Mount Ebal.

It means only asking for the physical blessings.
Nevertheless, it has been fulfilled, namely we can worship God anywhere.

      2. Worshiping in Jerusalem, namely worshiping God with the dirty heart or the lusts of evil, uncleanness, and bitterness.
        The example is King Herod.

        Matthew 2:8,13
2:8.And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also."
2:13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, "Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child
        to destroy Him."

    • The worship to the Antichrist with the power of mammon.
      Revelation 13:12
13:12.And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

'all the authority of the first beast' = the power of the Antichrist is the one of mammon which causes the stinginess and greediness.
The stinginess means not being able to give to the work of God and other people who are in need.
The greediness means stealing the possession of others, especially God's, namely the tithes and offerings.

The stinginess and greediness mean the worship to the Antichrist until one becomes the same as the Antichrist that will be destroyed forever.

  2. The true worship. It means as follows:

    • Being encouraged by the true teaching Word.
      Luke 9:28
9:28.Now it came to pass, abouteight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.

'eight days ' means the resurrection.
Thus, the true worship has the power of resurrection.

    • The true worship is the reflection of heaven. It has the same tone as the worship in heaven.
      Revelation 5:11-14
5:11.Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
5:12 saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"
5:13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"
5:14 Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty-four elders
fell down and worshipedHim who lives forever and ever.

The facts found in it are as follows:

      1. Worshiping with saying "Alleluia".
        Revelation 19:1,3-4,6
19:1.After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
        19:3 Again they said, "
Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!"
19:4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen!
        Alleluia!"
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "
Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

      2. Giving the seven things to God.
        Revelation 5:11-12
5:11.Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
5:12 saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power
        (1)and riches(2)and wisdom(3), And strength(4)and honor(5)and glory(6)and blessing(7)!"

The seven things are looked for by men. Giving them to God, we will return to be a powerless baby. We only fully surrender to God until the Veil is torn and we become as perfect as Jesus is.

      3. The worship which is for Jesus only.
        Matthew 4:10
4:10.Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORDyour God, and Him only you shall serve.'"

        Matthew 17:8
17:8.When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

Who is Jesus only, whom we must worship?
Colossians 1:16
1:16. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

The title is the Preeminence of Christ.

'All things were created through Him and for Him' = Jesus only is the Creator of all things. We or men are His creation and we must worship Him.

Romans 1:21-25
1:21. because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Himas God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
1:22 Professing to be wise,
they became fools,
1:23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
1:24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
1:25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and
worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.

In fact, men are beguiled by the voice of the dragon or false teachings, including the voice of the flesh, so the heart is dark and the mind is cursed.
Consequently, they do not want to worship the Creator, but the creatures such as animal, man, angel, and Satan.

The facts found in not worshiping Jesus are as follows:

  1. Defiling the body through the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. They say that they worship God, but actually they worship the others.
    Romans 1:24-27
1:24. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
1:25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
1:26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
1:27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

  2. Doing improper things, namely the sinful words and deeds.
    Romans 1:29-32
1:29. being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,
1:30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
    1:31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;
1:32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also
approve of those who practice them.

'approve of those who practice them' means doing such sins.

Isaiah 57:19
57:19. "I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near," Says the LORD, "And I will heal him."

Actually, God created men for praising and worshiping Him.
How? It is through making peace. Being influenced by the false teachings until the heart becomes dark and the mind is cursed, let us make peace with God and others. We confess and forgive one another, so the blood of Jesus forgives all of our sins. We get the peaceful heart and our mouth can praise and worship God.

Hebrews 13:15
13:15.Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

Proverbs 16:13
16:13. Righteous lips are the delight of kings, And they love him who speaks what is right.

The fruit of lips which glorifies God starts from saying the righteous and honest words. We become the house of prayer.

Proverbs 15:8

15:8. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

Revelation 4:10-11
4:10. the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
4:11 "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For
You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created."

If our tongue is honest and righteous, we will be able to worship Jesus, the Creator.

The facts found in the lips which glorify God are as follows:

  1. The hands are stretched out for helping others or being able to give and visit. It means the righteous and good deeds.
    Hebrews 13:16
13:16. But do not forget to do goodand to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

    Proverbs 19:17
19:17. He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, And He will pay back what he has given.

Doing the good and righteous things is the same as lending to the Lord. It means that God will repay to us. He never deceives us.

The righteous deeds will become the garments of the bride, so we are not naked.

    Revelation 19:8

19:8. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Doing the false worship, one will be naked.

  2. Obeying the rulers.
    Hebrews 13:17
13:17. Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

The physical ruler refers to the parents.
The spiritual ruler refers to the pastor.
The heavenly ruler refers to the Great Shepherd.

The pastor is in the middle. It means that if one cannot be obedient in the marriage, he will not be able to obey the pastor and God. The obedience starts from the marriage, and then we can obey the pastor in the world who is with the shepherding Word as well as to the Lord or Great Shepherd.

Being obedient to the pastor, one must be obedient in the household and to the Great Shepherd.
The obedience in the shepherding has the relationship with the intercession prayer of the pastor.
The main duty of a pastor is feeding with the shepherding Word and lifting up the intercession prayer.
Praying without being based on the Word, the prayer will be an abomination before God.

If the congregation makes the pastor grieved because of their disobedience, there will be no great gain in the service to God, but the great loss, namely there is no satisfaction of heaven.

    1 Timothy 6:6

6:6. Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

'great gain' = the two wings of a great eagle.
    Revelation 12: 14
12:14. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

They make us fly into the wilderness, far away from the presence of the Antichrist. We are preserved by the teaching Word and Holy Communion.

  3. Praying much more, especially for asking for the good conscience.
    Hebrews 13:18
13:18.Prayfor us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably.

The good conscience or the heart which does not accuse and is not accused is the strong foundation for worshiping Jesus alone. We believe and entrust our life to Jesus. We stretch our hands only to Him and He alone will stretch His merciful hands.

    The results are as follows:

    1. The power of restoration from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones.
      Matthew 17:8
17:8. When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

Jesus alone is able to change us. It starts from the face.

      Matthew 17:2

17:2. and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

The face refers to the five senses as follows:

      1. The eyes only look at the field of God or worship Him.
      2. The ears only hear and obey the true teaching Word.
      3. The mouth only glorifies and worships God.

      Mark 7:37
7:37. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes both the deafto hear and the muteto speak."

If the ear and mouth are good, all things will be good.

      Proverbs 20:12

20:12. The hearing ear and the seeing eye, The LORD has made them both.

God gives the power of creation. He is able to create something which does not exist yet for preserving our life abundantly in the midst of the crises in the world.

The matter of all things become good or not depends on the five senses.

    2. The power of restoration from the darkness to the light.
      John 8: 9
8:9. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

All of us who are sinful can get the forgiveness, so we can live in righteousness and holiness. Leave the sins right now!

The destroyed marriage can be restored to be righteous, holy, and one for reaching the marriage supper of the Lamb.
The fear or anxiety is changed into joy and peace.

Bring all of weaknesses to God. He will change and restore us.
      We can glorify Him anymore.

    3. God alone is able to do the great wonders.
      Psalm 136:4-5
      136:4. To Him who alonedoes great wonders, For His mercy endures forever;
      136:5 To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, For His mercy endures forever;

Impossible things become possible. The dead are resurrected.
When Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to be as perfect as He is and worthy for welcoming His second coming on the glorious clouds. We return to the first creation and become worthy for dwelling in Paradise and the heavenly kingdom to worship Him forever.

God blesses you.
