Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12: 3-18 and Revelation 13 are about the seven activities of the dragon or Satan as follows:
- [Revelation 12:4a] His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven.
- [Revelation 12:4b] Devouring.
- ]Revelation 12:5] Fighting .
- [Revelation 12:6-14] Persecuting or catching up fast.
- [Revelation 12:15] Causing the woman or the church of God to be carried away by the flood.
- [Revelation 12:17] Making war or persecuting.
- Revelation 13 is about the activity of Satan through the Antichrist and false prophet as follows:
- Verse 1-10 is about the activity of the Antichrist.
- Verse 11-18 is about the activity of the false prophet.
The seven activities of Satan are used to hinder the plan of God to bring the church of God up to perfection, namely the heavenly bride who is ready to greet Jesus when He comes a second time, then entering the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, the One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace (the upcoming Paradise) and the New Jerusalem.
Tonight, we will learn about the activity of Satan through the false prophet.
Revelation 13:11
13:11. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.
It is the appearance of the false prophet, namely a beast coming up out of the earth, and he has two horns like a lamb and speaks like a dragon.
It refers to falsity. Be careful! On the last days, the falsity is preferred and wanted than the original one.
The source of falsity is the false teaching.
The false prophet teaches the false teaching, so the church of God cannot become perfect but being lost. He does not lead to the New Jerusalem, but being destroyed in the hell forever.
In the Bible, the false teaching is the same as the leaven that leavens or destroys the pure batter.
It means destroying the true fellowship of the body of Christ, so the Church of God cannot become perfect as the heavenly Bride, but being destroyed.
Matthew 16:5-716:5. Now when His disciples had come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.
16:6. Then Jesus said to them, "Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees."
16:7. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, "It is because we have taken no bread."
Jesus confirms that we must beware of two leavens as follows:
- The leaven of the Sadducees, namely the false teaching which says that there are no resurrection, angel, and spirit, so there is no heaven.
There is no continuation in the spiritual world after death.
Acts 23:8
23:8. For Sadduceessay that there is no resurrection--and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.
The consequences are as follows:
- Men including the Church of God appear like the beast that is not shepherded.
1 Corinthians 15:32
15:32. If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!"
If one is not shepherded, he will hunt the flesh and world until he willingly loses the salvation or the birthright even perfection.
The example is Esau.
Esau was great. He had the sign of repentance and new birth, but he was not shepherded in his growth.
- Sinning up to the peak to satisfy the lust of the flesh.
The peak of sin is the sins of eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse) and marrying-giving in marriage (false marriage, mixed-marriage, divorce-remarrying, and marrying-giving in marriage) until one becomes the bride of Satan.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52
15:51. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed--
15:52. in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
The teaching of the Sadducees rejects the power of the resurrection of God and sacrifices the spiritual thing.
So, the church of God who follows the teaching of the Sadducees will never experience the purification and renewal of life. If he dies, he will not be risen when Jesus comes. If he lives until Jesus comes, he will not be changed. He just waits for a thousand years to be destroyed forever.
- The leaven of the Pharisees, namely the false teaching that allows divorce-remarrying that starts from mixed-marriage up to marrying-giving in marriage.
Mark 10:1-12
10:1. Then He arose from there and came to the region of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And multitudes gathered to Him again, and as He was accustomed, He taughtthem again.
10:2. The Pharisees came and asked Him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?" testing Him.
10:3. And He answered and said to them, "What did Moses command you?"
10:4. They said, "Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to dismiss her."
10:5. And Jesus answered and said to them, "Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
10:6. "But from the beginning of the creation, God 'made them male and female.'
10:7. 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,
10:8. 'and the two shall become one flesh';so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.
10:9. "Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate."
10:10. In the house His disciples also asked Him again about the same matter.
10:11. So He said to them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.
10:12. "And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery."
'taught' means that Jesus teaches to face against the false teaching.
Be careful! The seed of divorce-remarrying (the hardness of heart) is started from the time of relationship or engagement.
The true teaching Word teaches us that the purpose of having date is getting married. That is why we must pray earnestly. If our mate has a weakness, it is the test to confess and forgive one another.
And the purpose of marriage is becoming one flesh up to the perfect marriage, and we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb.
The false marriage aims at the bride of the Antichrist.
The teaching of the Pharisees believes the resurrection, but rejects its power, namely the power of the purification and renewal of life, so one does not experience the purification but keeps on becoming the fleshly man or the beast.
If he dies, he shall not be raised when Jesus comes. If he lives until Jesus comes, he shall not be changed. He just waits for a thousand years to be destroyed forever.
'We shall not all sleep' means that some Christians sleep and another will live until Jesus comes a second time. It is God's mercy. The most important thing is that we receive the power of resurrection in our life, so we experience the purification and renewal of life up to perfection like Jesus.
If we die, we shall be raised in the body of glory when Jesus comes. If we live until Jesus comes a second time, we shall be changed into the body of glory. The dead and living will become one to greet Jesus when He comes a second time. Further, we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb and the New Jerusalem.
That is why God entrusts three kinds of the power of resurrection to the church as follows:
- We receive the power of resurrection in the Bible Study Service and Holy Communion.
John 5:24-26
5:24. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My wordand believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
5:25. "Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.
5:26. "For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,
'My word' refers to the true teaching Word, namely a verse that explains another verse in the Bible.
'has passed from death into life' means experiencing the power of resurrection.
John 6: 54
6:54. "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My bloodhas eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
'eats My flesh and drinks My blood' refers to the Holy Communion.
It refers to the Table of Showbread, namely the perseverance in committing the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
The true teaching Word and Holy Communion have the power of resurrection of Jesus which is able to raise us from now on.
We experience the purification and renewal of life from fleshly men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
The purification of whole life is the same as the one of heart.
Matthew 15:19
15:19. "For out of the heartproceed evil thoughts(1), murders(2), adulteries(3), fornications(4), thefts(5), false witness(6), blasphemies(7).
The heart is purified from seven evil desires, unclean desires, and bitterness.
If we have already been dead to sin, we will be raised in the new life.
Colossians 3:9-10,12-14
3:9. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old manwith his deeds,
3:10. and have put on the new manwho is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,
3:12. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies(1), kindness(2), humility(3), meekness(4), longsuffering(5);
3:13. bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do(6: forgiving one another).
3:14. But above all these things put on love(7), which is the bond of perfection.
The humility means the ability to confess the sin (peace-loving).
The meekness means the ability to hear the hard teaching Word.
The longsuffering means being patient in suffering by giving thanks and waiting the time of God.
It refers to the seven characteristics of a new man that we can receive through the power of resurrection in the Bible Study Service and Holy Communion.
In the Bible Study Service, we can hear and obey the true teaching Word, so it is ingrained in our life, and we experience the purification and renewal of life up to perfection.
John 5:28-29
5:28. "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice
5:29. "and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
If we die, we shall be raised in the body of glory. If we live until Jesus comes, we shall be changed in the body of glory.
John 6:60-62,64-66
6:60. Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can understand it?"
6:61. When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, "Does this offend you?
6:62. "What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?
6:64. "But there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him.
6:65. And He said, "Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father."
6:66. From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.
It is the mercy of God when we can hear and obey the true teaching Word.
Be careful of the negative attitude to the teaching Word, namely grumbling because of having self-truth, rejecting the Word because of keeping on sinning up to the peak!
If one grumbles, he will not understand even he does not want to understand until he does not believe in the Word. He starts withdrawing from the true teaching Word and following the false teachings which are in line with his sin. It is the same as falling from faith.
- We receive the power of resurrection in Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:11-13
8:11. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesusfrom the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
8:12. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors--not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
8:13. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
It refers to the Golden Candlestick, namely the perseverance in committing the General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts.
The facts of experiencing the power of resurrection in Holy Spirit is putting to death the works of the flesh and rising in a new man, so we have the nine fruits of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:19-23
5:19. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20. idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21. envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
5:22. But the fruit of the Spiritis love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
5:23. gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
- love, joy, peaceare the characteristics of God the Father.
- longsuffering, kindness, goodnessare the characteristics of the Son of God.
- faithfulness, gentleness, self-controlare the characteristics of Holy Spirit.
We return to the image of the Trinity of God.
- We receive the power of resurrection in the love of God.
1 John 3:13-15
3:13. Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.
3:14. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.
3:15. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
It refers to the Golden Altar of Incense, namely the perseverance in committing the Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love.
The facts of experiencing the power of resurrection in the love are as follows:
- There is no hatred to anyone including those who harm and make hostility toward us.
We are controlled by death as long as having hatred, so we cannot experience resurrection.
- Loving God more than anything, namely obedience, and loving others; even we can love our enemy. We just do the good thing until we repay good for evil.
So, we experience the power of resurrection in the sheepfold, namely the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God.
1 Corinthians 15:53-5815:53. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
15:54. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."
15:55. "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"
15:56. The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
15:57. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
15:58. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
There is victory over the death in the power of resurrection.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- 'be steadfast, immovable' means keeping holding fast the true teaching Word that has become our experience of life.
Do not worry because of the temptation and false teaching!
- 'always abounding in the work of the Lord' means ministering to God faithfully and fervently until the finish line, namely our death or Jesus' second coming.
- 'your labor is not in vain in the Lord' means ministering to God with the sign of sacrifices in the feeling and so on.
It is the same as ministering in the love of God.
It is the servant of God who is shepherded by Him as well as experiencing the power of resurrection. It is the servant of God who is sent by Him to glorify Him.
We must be shepherded first, and then we can be sent by God.
For example, Moses had sent himself before he was shepherded, so he became a killer.
Becoming killer means destroying the body of Christ and building the Babylon.
After being shepherded, Moses experienced the power of resurrection in the Word, Holy Spirit, and love of God. Moses returned to become a newborn baby, and then he could help others who were in death.
How could Moses win over the death? He could win over the death by crying to God. He just hoped God's great mercy. Here we can receive the great power of resurrection, so we are sent by God.
Let us entrust our life to God! The miracle will surely happen.
The results are as follows:
- The name of Moses means being drawn out of the water.
- God's merciful hand is able to take care of and protect us who are powerless in the midst of the difficulties and impossibilities of the world until the Antichrist reigns over the world.
- God's merciful hand is able to help in His time.
- God's merciful hand lifts us up from fallings.
We are restored to become obedient.
- Moses is appointed to become the son of the king.
It means as follows:
- Being appointed to become priest and king who are used in the building of the perfect body of Christ or the heavenly bride who is ready to greet Jesus' second coming.
- God's merciful hand is able to give beautiful and successful future.
- Moses is lifted up to the heaven.
Deuteronomy 34:6
34:6. And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day.
Jude 1:9
1:9. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"
It means experiencing the power of lifting up to the glorious clouds. We are purified and changed up to perfection like Jesus to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb, the One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace (the upcoming Paradise), and the New Jerusalem.
We will experience all things that eye has not seen, nor ear heard.
We can experience the power of resurrection from now on up to being on the glorious clouds.
1 Corinthians 2:8-9
2:8. which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
2:9. But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
The Lord of glory is crucified, so we can be glorified.
Be careful to the activities of Satan! One of them is false teaching including gossip.
Let us be shepherded earnestly, so we are sent by God. We just cry to God regardless of anything that happens to us on these days.
Stretch out the hand of faith! God will stretch out His merciful hands. He will help all of us.
God blesses us.
