Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12: 3-18 is about the clear and complete appearance of Satan or dragon with his activities on the last days as follows:
- [Revelation 12:4a] His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven.
- [Revelation 12:4b] Devouring.
- [Revelation 12:7] Fighting.
- [Revelation 12:13] Persecuting or catching up fast.
- [Revelation 12:15] Causing the woman or the church of God to be carried away by the flood.
- [Revelation 12:17] Making war or persecuting.
ad. 3.
Fighting.
Revelation 12:7-12
12:7. And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
12:8. but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
12:9. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
12:10. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
12:11. "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
12:12. "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."
Satan or the dragon makes war or rebellion in heaven.
After the war, the following two things happen:
- The earth faces the great anger of Satan or the dragon because he knows that he has a short time.
- Heavens rejoice because of the victory.
The shout of victory refers to the fulfillment that the heavenly kingdom which is ruled by Jesus has come.
- As the matter of fact of the prayer which is lifted up by Jesus.
Matthew 6:9-10
6:9 "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
6:10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
- As the matter of fact of the answer or the disciples' prayer or the longing of heart.
It is also the answer of the question of the disciples.
Acts 1:6-8
1:6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?"
1:7 And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
1:8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
The disciples asked about the time of the coming of the heavenly kingdom, but Jesus answered that knowing times or seasons was not for them. Our business now is doing the will of God through the help of Holy Spirit, namely being the witness of God.
Matthew 28:19-20
28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
28:20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
What must be testified?
- The Gospel of Salvation, the Gospel Word, or the Good News.
Ephesians 1:13
1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
It refers to the gospel that preaches Jesus' first coming to the world as the only sinless man who must die on the cross for saving the sinful men through believing or having faith in Him, repenting, and being baptized of water and Holy Spirit. As a result, we get the new life, namely in righteousness.
The direction of the testimony is from Jerusalem to Judea, Samaria, western countries, up to the end of the earth or the Gentiles.
- The light if the Gospel of the Glory of Christ, the teaching Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword, the Word which is revealed by Holy Spirit, or the Bride Tidings.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
It refers to the gospel that preaches Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds for sanctifying the saved people to be as perfect as Jesus is and become the heavenly bride who is ready for welcoming Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds. The direction is from the east or the end of the earth to the west, Samaria, Judea, up to Jerusalem. If Jerusalem can receive the second coming of Jesus, the Gentiles and Israelites will be one perfect body of Christ or the heavenly bride who is ready for welcoming Jesus' coming on the glorious clouds.
Matthew 24:27-28
24:27"For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
24:28 "For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
Thus, one who longs for the heavenly kingdom must have the following things:
- Hearing and obeying the light of the gospel, the Word which is revealed by Holy Spirit, or the Bride Tidings.
- Longing for making fellowship with the sacrifice of Christ or the Holy Communion.
The Holy Communion which is consumed in the right way, namely with the sanctification by the Word or the Bride Tidings, will be ingrained in our life. The results are as follows:
- We are made as the ripe wheat or the perfect church.
- Giving us extra power, so we can endure facing the shakings on the last days or the sifting.
Luke 22:31
22:31 And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.
The sifting from Satan refers to the shakings for making one fall from faith, so he get hopeless and disappointed and deny Jesus.
Matthew 3:12
3:12 "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."
The sifting from God refers to the tests for making us as the ripe grain containing the true teaching Word, the sacrifice of Christ, and the love of God.
Revelation 12:1
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
The ripe grain is the same as the Light of the World. The grain can be filled in the sheepfold or the perseverance in doing the three main services to God as follows:
- The Table of Showbread refers to the perseverance in doing the Bible Study Service with the Holy Communion to get the fellowship with the Son of God in the true teaching Word and sacrifice of Christ. We are filled with the teaching Word and sacrifice of Christ until it becomes the light of the moon.
- The Golden Candlestick refers to the perseverance in doing the General Service to get the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the anointing and gifts until being the light of the stars.
- The Golden Altar of Incense or the perseverance in doing the Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in His love. We are filled with the Love of God until being the light of the sun.
2 Corinthians 4:5-6
4:5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus' sake.
4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
The process of being the ripe grain or the light of the world happens through the true teaching Word that illuminates, sanctifies the dark heart that contains the evil will (the lust of money, stinginess, greediness, and stealing the possession of God), the unclean lust (eating-drinking, marrying-being given in marriage, and the wrong marriage), up to the bitterness (envy and jealousy). The heart is illuminated to be holy, light, and filled by the teaching Word, Holy Spirit, and God's love. From the holy heart, the light radiates outside, namely the light of testimony through the words and deeds. The light begins from the household, before men up to the light of the world.
Matthew 5:14-16
5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
5:15 "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
The light of the lamp in the household must not be covered by the basket or economy and the bed or the adultery, fornication, and the wrong marriage.
The light before men means the good words and deeds that become blessings for others as well as not insisting anything.
It will continue to the light in the New Jerusalem forever.
When the shakings come, ones who are filled or like the ripe grain and the others who are not can be clearly seen. Ones who are empty like the chaff will go out of the fellowship of the body of Christ because of the wind of the false teaching and temptations.
For example, Judas Iscariot received the Holy Communion without the sanctification of the true teaching Word. He kept the sins or the love of money until being dead forever.
Revelation 12:1 refers to the church or bride, namely the fellowship of the sons or servants of God which is worked by the true teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ as well as living in the light of the love of God and the anointing of Holy Spirit.
The facts found in being the ripe grain or the church that becomes the witness of God up to the light of the world are as follows:
- There is the sun.
It means loving God more than anything, being obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore, and willingly sacrificing anything for God or the true teaching Word. We can also love other people as ourselves and we can love our enemy or we can repay good for evil. We willingly sacrifice all things for helping others.
- There is the star.
It means being faithful and fervent in spirit in the service and ministry to God according to the gifts of Holy Spirit and the ministry which God has entrusted to us without being hindered by anything.
- There is the moon.
It means being set free from sins up to the peak by the true teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ or the Holy Communion, so we can live in righteousness and holiness until we can say "yes" if "yes" and "no" if "no." It means that we have the sincerity and honesty. We have the true and strong confession about Jesus.
Matthew 16:13-18
16:13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?"
16:14 So they said, "Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
16:15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"
16:16 Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
16:17 Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
16:18 "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
Peter had the right confession about Jesus Himself. He got the direct manifestation of God.
He confessed that Jesus was the Messiah or Christ, namely the Anointed or the king of all kings, the servant, the man, and the living Son of God. Thus, the confession of Peter is true, namely about the cross of Christ. It is the strong confession which cannot be moved by anything. It cannot be made fall by any sifting.
There are many confessions about the power of Jesus first, not about the cross. Such people cannot endure. They do not stand on the strong foundation, so they will fall and get the destruction. They cannot be built again, so they go out of the body of Christ like Judas Iscariot.
The true confession of Peter about the cross refers to the one about Jesus as the Head who willingly dies on the Hill of Skull as His responsibility upon us until He gives His soul.
The closest or nearest relationship between the body and the Head is in the neck, namely the worship prayer.
There are two meanings of the worship prayer as follows:
- The way from the Head to the body. It means the way we receive the love of God.
Romans 8:32
8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
The love of God is able to pour out our needs for our daily life, future, and the eternal life.
Romans 8:35-36
8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
8:36 As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
The love of God gives us endurance, so we are not separated from Him. We can endure facing the tests and sorrows, so we always give thanks to God.
Romans 8:37
8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
The love of God makes us more than conquerors. It means that we are small and powerless, but we can defeat the great enemy that is stronger because the love of God makes war instead of us. All impossible problems can be solved.
- The way from the body to the Head. It means that through the worship prayer, we can receive the love of God that is able to change us from the fleshly man to the spiritual or perfect one like Jesus.
Zephaniah 3:17-18
3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
3:18 "I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly, Who are among you, To whom its reproach is a burden.
The love renews us from the fleshly man to the spiritual one like the mighty.
Proverbs 16:32
16:32 He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
The mighty refers to the patience. It begins from being patient in waiting for the time of God. Do not take your own way which is outside the true teaching Word. We must be patient in the suffering because of the shakings and for helping others.
When Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to be as perfect as He is for receiving the crown of the bride.
Psalm 89:19
89:19 Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, And said: "I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.
We receive the eternal heavenly kingdom. There is the shout of victory on the glorious clouds and we get the crown of the bride. We enter the eternal heavenly kingdom and sit with Jesus forever.
God blesses you.
