Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21:1-8 can be divided as follows:
- [verse 1] A new heaven and a new earth.
- [verse 2-3] The new man.
- [verse 4-8] The new atmosphere as follows:
- Verse 4, namely the one without death.
- Verse 5-6, namely the one of the heavenly satisfaction.
- Verse 7, namely the one of winning.
- Verse 8, namely the one of righteousness, holiness, and perfection.
If we have all of these, we will enter the New Jerusalem.
ad. d.
The atmosphere of righteousness, holiness, and perfection.
Revelation 21:8
21:8. "But the cowardly(1), unbelieving(2), abominable(3), murderers(4), sexually immoral(5), sorcerers(6), idolaters(7), and all liars(8)shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
We learn about the fourth sin, namely
murderers.
1 John 3:15 3:15. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.The murder is driven by the hatred, so one does not inherit the heavenly kingdom, but he is destroyed in the hell.
It starts from a dislike up to hatred without a cause.
The murder or hatred happens from era to era as follows:
- The era of God the Father, which is counted from Adam to Abraham (about two thousand years), is represented by Cainwho kills Abel.
Genesis 4:8
4:8. Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.
The hatred happens in the household between brother and sister, husband and wife, and son and parents. It also happens in the shepherding--between the fellow priests and the shepherd and sheep.
How does it happen?
- Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground. It means not being signified with the birthright, but just a part.
Genesis 4:3-5
4:3. And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD.
4:4. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering,
4:5. but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.
It means that one does not minister earnestly and faithfully as well as not prioritize the ministry.
- His works were evil.
1 John 3:12
3:12. not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were eviland his brother's righteous.
So, Cain refers to the servant of God who is wicked and lazy, so his ministry does not please God but is rejected by Him.
[Genesis 4:5] Consequently, he was very angry, and his countenance fell. It means having no anointing of Holy Spirit, so he was dry and not satisfied.
Luke 12:45
12:45. "But if that servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk,
Beating the other servant of God through gossip, evil speaking, tormenting, et cetera. It continues until he falls into uncleanness, namely sins of eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse) and marrying-giving in marriage.
[Genesis 4:8] It continues until he murders the other servant of God.
Luke 12:46
12:46. "the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in twoand appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
Consequently, he will be cut in two. It means the spiritual death. He is not fervent in the spiritual thing up to perdition.
Genesis 4:4
4:4. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering,
The offering of Abel was signified with the firstborn and fat. It means prioritizing the ministry to God more than anything or ministering to God faithfully.
[1 John 3:12b] Abel's works were righteous, namely in line with the Word.
The fat is the best part. One does not do the evil thing but just the good one until he repays good for evil.
So, Abel refers to the servant of God who is faithful, true, and good.
Hebrews 11:4
11:4. By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.
As a result, God respected Abel and his offering since he lived up to the death. It means that our life and death are in God's merciful hand.
As a result, God's merciful hand is able to take care of our life from now on up to eternal life.
God's merciful hand is able to give the beautiful and successful future.
Our efforts in the world are like baby's hand, and the rest is in God who works in our life. God determines everything. That is why, a baby must cry out a lot to God.
- The era of the Son of God, which is counted from Abraham to the first Jesus' coming (about two thousand years), is represented by King Joash.
2 Chronicles 24:21-22
24:21. So they conspired against him, and at the command of the king they stoned him with stones in the court of the house of the LORD.
24:22. Thus Joash the king did not remember the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but killed his son; and as he died, he said, "The LORD look on it, and repay!"
King Joash killed Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest who had helped him.
2 Chronicles 24:2,8,12
24:2. Joash did what was right in the sight of the LORD all the days of Jehoiada the priest.
24:8. Then at the king's command they made a chest, and set it outside at the gate of the house of the LORD.
24:12. The king and Jehoiada gave it to those who did the work of the service of the house of the LORD; and they hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of the LORD, and also those who worked in iron and bronze to restore the house of the LORD.
Joash in all the days of Jehoiada the priest refers to the servant of God who is faithful, true, and good, so he is used in the building of the body of Christ. But Joash could kill the righteous, because he heard the strange voice, so he became disobedient to God or the true teaching Word.
2 Chronicles 24:17-18
24:17. Now after the death of Jehoiada the leaders of Judah came and bowed down to the king. And the king listened to them.
24:18. Therefore they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served wooden images and idols; and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem because of their trespass.
Hebrews 4:12-13
4:12. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Consequently, the house of prayer becomes the den of thieves.
Matthew 15:19
15:19. "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts(1), murders(2), adulteries(3), fornications(4), thefts(5), false witness(6), blasphemies(7).
The Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword is able to purify our heart from the seven sins of evil, uncleanness, and bitterness. The seven sins of evil, uncleanness, and bitterness make our candlestick go out, so our eyes and heart are dark, and our life is blind. It means just committing sins up to the peak.
If our heart is purified, we will have the burning lamp. Our heart, eyes, even our whole life are light. We live in holiness up to perfection.
2 Chronicles 24:19
24:19. Yet He sent prophets to them, to bring them back to the LORD; and they testified against them, but they would not listen.
God has mercy on His servant who was used in the revival of the building of the body of Christ by sending prophets to preach the true teaching Word, so he may return to the true ordination.
2 Chronicles 24:20-25
24:20. Then the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, who stood above the people, and said to them, "Thus says God: 'Why do you transgress the commandments of the LORD, so that you cannot prosper? Because you have forsaken the LORD, He also has forsaken you.'"
24:21. So they conspired against him, and at the command of the king they stoned him with stones in the court of the house of the LORD.
24:22. Thus Joash the king did not remember the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but killed his son; and as he died, he said, "The LORD look on it, and repay!"
24:23. So it happened in the spring of the year that the army of Syria came up against him; and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the leaders of the people from among the people, and sent all their spoil to the king of Damascus.
24:24. For the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men; but the LORD delivered a very great army into their hand, because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers. So they executed judgment against Joash.
24:25. And when they had withdrawn from him (for they left him severely wounded), his own servants conspired against him because of the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and killed him on his bed. So he died. And they buried him in the City of David, but they did not bury him in the tombs of the kings.
God sent Zechariah the priest in the anointing of Holy Spirit to preach the true teaching Word firmly, but King Joash kept rejecting it. He hardened his heart. His heart and eyes were dark, and his life was blind, so he killed Zechariah the priest. It means hating the servant of God who is faithful, true, good, and used in the building of the body of Christ.
John 6:60,66
6:60. Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can understand it?"
6:66. From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.
One walks with Jesus no more. He leaves the true teaching Word and follows his own will, the false teaching, and Satan up to perdition.
That is why we must receive the teaching Word gently no matter how hard it is. We hear and obey the Word until the flesh does not speak anymore. We just stretch out our hand of faith to God. We trust and commit ourselves to God. As a result, God stretches out His merciful hand to do the miracle.
Matthew 7:24-25
7:24. "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise manwho built his house on the rock:
7:25. "and the raindescended, the floodscame, and the windsblew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
As a result, God's merciful hand is able to make us become wise. We are strong and of good courage, so we can endure to face the attack of the trinity of Satan as follows:
- The rain. It refers to Satan with the spirit of evil and uncleanness that triggers the sins up to the peak.
We keep living in holiness and righteousness.
- The winds. It refers to the false prophet with the false teaching. We keep holding fast the true teaching Word and obeying it.
- The floods. It refers to the Antichrist with the power of economy that makes one become greedy and stingy.
We feel more blessed to give than to receive.
We are used in the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain or the building of the perfect body of Christ, starting from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding until the Israelites and the Gentiles become one body of Christ. It is the same as placing Jesus as the Head who is responsible up to the death on the Place of a Skull.
Acts 27:34
27:34. "Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, sincenot a hair will fall from the head of any of you."
Not a hair will fall.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2,8
28:1. "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
28:2. "And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:
28:8. "The LORD will command the blessingon you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
The LORD will command the blessing to protect and take care of us in the midst of the difficulties of the world.
Exodus 15:26
15:26. and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on youwhich I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."
God's merciful hand is able to heal all of impossible spiritual and physical diseases.
It continues until we become perfect, namely oneness in marriage up to perfection.
God blesses you.
