From Delayed Broadcast of Fellowship Service in MedanPeace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 19:9
19:9. Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'"And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
The marriage supper of the Lamb refers to the meeting between Jesus, who comes a second time in the glory as the King of all kings or the Heavenly Bridegroom, and the perfect church or the heavenly bride on the glorious clouds. This is the spiritual perfect marriage to enter One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace (upcoming Paradise), and the New Jerusalem or eternal kingdom of heaven. It is the same as the relationship of perfect love that cannot be separated by anything forever.
Thus, we must have the love of God to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Matthew 22:34-4022:34. But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together.
22:35. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying,
22:36. "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
22:37. Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'
22:38. "This is the first and great commandment.
22:39. "And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'
22:40. "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."The facts found in having the perfect love are as follows:
- Loving God with all our body, soul, and spirit or loving Him more than anything.
- Loving others as we love ourselves; even we can love our enemy.
Ad.1. Loving God more than anything.
James 1:12
1:12. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. The fact of loving God more than anything is enduring against physical and spiritual temptations.
There are three meanings of enduring as follows:
- Being happy when facing temptation.
James 1:12
1:12. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
It means that one does not grumble or contend when facing temptation but always gives thanks.
James 5:9
5:9. Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!
If we grumble against one another in temptation, the problem will not be finished. We just add the problem and will be condemned.
Philippians 4:6-7
4:6. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
4:7. and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The right attitude is giving thanks and praying when facing temptation, so we experience peace. It is the same as being silent and calm.
Being silent means doing introspection or keeping silent.
Being calm means totally surrendering to God.
As a result, we will be faced with Jesus the High Priest, who will calm all wind and waves. He will finish all problems and temptations.
- One does not get disappointed and desperate as well as leave God when facing impossible problem, but keeps on trusting and hoping God.
Romans 5:3-5
5:3. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
5:4. and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5:5. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Jeremiah 17:5-6
17:5. Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD.
17:6. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited.
If we hope and trust in man or something in the world such as intelligence, riches, position, et cetera, we will be far away from God.
Consequently, we will be disappointed and desperate. We do not experience goodness but total destruction of life, and will be cursed and punished by God.
Jeremiah 17:7-8
17:7. "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD.
17:8. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
The right attitude is keeping on trusting and hoping in God.
As a result, we will be like a tree planted by the waters. The hotter temptation is, the more we get water, and the more we experience coolness. We will not be disappointed and desperate but experience happiness until we yield fruit.
Lamentations3:25
3:25. The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.
God makes all things good, beautiful, and successful in time.
- Being patient and persevering when facing impossible temptations.
James 5:10-11
5:10. My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.
5:11. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseveranceof Job and seen the end intended by the Lord--that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
The example is Job.
- The perseverance.
Acts 2:41-42
2:41. Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
2:42. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
The perseverance happens from age to age.
In the age of Moses, God gave two tablets of stone and guidance to build the Tabernacle to him.
The Tabernacle has three rooms, namely the court, the holy place, and the most holy place.
The court means believing Jesus, repenting, and being baptized of water and Holy Spirit. It is the same as entering the court of the kingdom of heaven. We are saved and blessed by God.
The most holy place means perfection.
We have been saved and blessed, but we have not been perfect yet, so now we must be in the holy place.
The holy place has three kinds of tool as follows:
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in fellowship or General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in apostles' doctrine and the breaking of bread or Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
- Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in prayers or Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love.
It is the same as perseverance in committing three kinds of main service in the sheepfold.
In the sheepfold, our body, soul, and spirit attach to the trinity of God, so the trinity of Satan cannot touch us. We cannot be torn by beast, so we do not fall into temptation. It means that we do neither sin nor get disappointed and desperate when facing temptation. It is the same as enduring.
In the sheepfold, our body, soul, and spirit are purified and changed continuously up to perfection like Jesus.
- The patience.
It means that we are patient in waiting the time of God and do not look for other way outside the will of God or the true teaching word like a train keeps on being in its rail. The way outside the word is only a dead lock and perdition.
When God has not helped us yet, He is still busy with our spiritual life. He wants to purify and change us, so we are well pleasing before Him up to perfection.
Job 42:5-6
42:5. "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You.
42:6. Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes."
Job has personal experience with God through the test or temptation, so he can look Him. He can get patient and persevere when facing overwhelming temptation.
As a result, Job experiences purification and renewal of life until he can confess that he is just dust.
Job 32:1-2
32:1. So these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
32:2. Then the wrath of Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was aroused against Job; his wrath was aroused because he justified himself rather than God.
Previously, Job was righteous in his own eyes; even he justified himself rather than God. It is the same as blaming the true teaching.
But he can confess that he is just dust through the test or temptation. He confesses that he is unworthy (having many mistakes and weakness), incapable, and worthless, but only worthy to be trampled, insulted, degraded, slandered. He just totally depends on God's mercy.
Genesis 2:7
2:7. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
The time when we have confessed that we are dust is the time of God for us.
James 5:11
5:11. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord--that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
As a result, God stretches out His compassionate and merciful hands. It is the same as God's breathing Holy Spirit into the dust.
The usefulness of Holy Spirit is as follows:
- Holy Spirit is the spirit of righteousness who can make us live in righteousness and holiness anywhere, anytime, and in any situation.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12. for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
As a result, we will be equipped with the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit (tunic of many colors) to be used in the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain or the building of the perfect body of Christ. It is the same as becoming the vessel of glory.
Our ministry starts from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding until the perfect body of Christ is formed.
Our life will be organized neatly and beautifully.
Being organized neatly means that we must minister in line with the true ordination. Do not be careless!
The more we are holy, the more beautiful our life is.
- Holy Spirit is the spirit of comforter who gives us extra power when facing temptation and persecution, so we do not get disappointed and desperate as well as leave God, but we can testify.
We keep faithful and fervent in ministry until the finish line.
- Holy Spirit is the spirit of glory who changes mortar men into the glorious ones like Jesus.
Job 42:6
42:6. Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes."
The words are changed to become honest. It starts from being honest about the teaching or God Himself.
Titus 2:7
2:7. in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,
Being honest means returning to the first creation.
Ecclesiastes 7:29
7:29. Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright, But they have sought out many schemes."
It is the same as becoming the house of prayer, and physical miracle happens.
John 11:39-40, 43-44
11:39. Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."
11:40. Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"
11:43. Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!"
11:44. And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go."
Lazarus, who has been dead four days and become stench can be raised. The things which do not exist yet can be created. The impossible thing becomes possible. The dry bone becomes great army.
It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to become as perfect as He is. We become the living creation and receive the crown of life, and our name is written in the Book of Life.
James 1:12
1:12. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
God blesses us.
