Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 19:919:9 Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'"And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
The marriage supper of the Lamb is the meeting between Jesus as the Head with the church as the perfect body of Christ on the glorious clouds.
It is the spiritual marriage between Jesus and the church.
The Bible starts from the book of Genesis containing the physical marriage between Adam and Eve, but it has been destroyed by Satan. The end of the Bible is in the book of Revelation that contains the spiritual perfect marriage between Jesus, the Heavenly Bridegroom, with the perfect congregation or bride of God.
Afterwards, we enter the One Thousand Years Kingdom of Peace or the future Paradise and New Jerusalem or the eternal heavenly kingdom.
The relationship between the heavenly Bridegroom and the bride of God is in the spiritual marriage or the relationship in love. The love is the same as the two tablets of stone. We must have the love or two tablets of stone that we can sit with Jesus on the throne of God.
The two tablets of stone consist of two parts as follows.
- The first tablet that contains four commandments about loving God more than anything.
- The second tablet that contains six commandments about loving other people like we
love ourselves.
There are five times of the writing about loving one another in the first epistle of John as follows.
- 1 John 3:11 --- loving one another is a message
- 1 John 3:23 --- loving one another is a commandment
- 1 John 4:7 --- loving one another is an invitation
- 1 John 4:11 --- loving one another is the example of God
- 1 John 4:12 --- loving one another until we have the perfect love
We learn about the fifth.
1 John 4:124:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.Why is loving one another repeated until five times?
- The repeated Word is the one in shepherding system.
2 Chronicles 36:15-16
36:15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.
36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.
It becomes the compassion of God to warn and give us opportunity to obey the Word as the spiritual food so that we can grow to reach the spiritual maturity.
- To give the assurance or firmness to our faith so that we are not deceived by other doctrines.
Philippians 3:1b
3:1b For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.
- Loving one another must come from the sacrifice of Christ or the love of Jesus on the cross so that it can increase to the perfect one.
1 John 4:12, 174:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.4:17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. The proof of having the perfect love is the boldness in the day of judgment by the fire when Jesus comes a second time.
Matthew 3:10-123:10 "And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 3:11 "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
3:12 "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." There are three kinds of the fire of judgment as follows.
- The fire of judgment for the people who do not bear the fruit of repentance.
Matthew 3:8
3:8 "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance,
They do not repent, but live in sins.
2 Peter 3:9-10
3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
God is longsuffering to the sinful people. He has not come a second time yet and we are given the long age to make us repent.
All things we get in the world are useless without the repentance; even they are destroyed by the fire of judgment.
Jeremiah 9:5
9:5 Everyone will deceive his neighbor, And will not speak the truth; They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They weary themselves to commit iniquity.
Keeping the lies, one does not repent until he cannot repent like Satan.
Repenting starts from throwing away the lies or speaking the truth and we can live in righteousness.
2 Peter 3:13
3:13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
We are set free from the fire of judgment or doomsday to the old heaven and earth, so we can enter the new heaven and earth, New Jerusalem, or the everlasting heavenly kingdom.
- The fire of judgment for the stubble and chaff.
Matthew 3:12
3:12 "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."
Malachi 3:18, 4:1
3:18 Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.
4:1 "For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up," Says the LORD of hosts, "That will leave them neither root nor branch.
The stubblerefers to the servants of God who unfaithfully serve and minister to Him; even they leave the service and ministry to Him. Consequently, they will enter the unquenchable fire of judgment in the hell.
Hebrews 10:25-27
10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
10:27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
The stubble refers to the servants of God who are rebellious. They usually do not serve to God, but there is no regret. This is a habitual sin. It will become the intentional sin that one deliberately does not serve and minister to God.
Therefore, we must advise one another. The highest level of advice on the last days is about serving and ministering to God more faithfully until Jesus comes a second time.
Matthew 25:21
25:21 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
If we faithfully serve and minister to God, we will get the heavenly joy up to the peak, namely we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb.
The chaff or skinrefers to the servants of God who are satisfied only with physical thingsor the outer ones. They only look for physical things without being filled with the spiritual ones, especially the true teaching Word and the Holy Communion.
There two kinds of the preaching of the Word as follows.
- The Gospel Word or milk for the sinful so that they can believe in Jesus, be saved and blessed.
- The teaching Word or solid food for the people who have believed in Jesus so that they can be filled with the ripe grain.
God gives us the skin or physical things such as protection, preservation, health, and blessings with the main purpose, namely filling us with the true teaching Word and the Holy Communion. It is especially through the perseverance in doing the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion (Table of Showbread) until we become the ripe grain which is ready to be reaped to enter the barn. The filling process must be with tears or the suffering in the flesh for serving and ministering to God, but we will rejoice when we enter the barn.
- The fire of judgment to the sins. It is the same as the fire of Holy Spirit.
Matthew 3:11
3:11 "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
The functions of Holy Spirit are as follows.
- To make us realize our sins.
John 16:7-8
16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
16:8 "And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
We can regret and confess our sins to God and other people. We get the forgiveness of sin by the blood of Jesus.
Romans 8:13
8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Holy Spirit puts to death our sins, so we are set free from sins and we do not sin anymore, but live in righteousness. We are set free from the fire of judgment.
- To make us faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God.
Romans 12:11
12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
We cannot be hindered by anything, anywhere, anytime, and in any circumstance like a burning lamp. We are faithful and fervent in spirit until the end, namely we die or Jesus comes a second time until we get the full right to enter the heavenly kingdom.
The sins of evil or the will of money, the ones of uncleanness or concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage, and the bitterness sins or envy, revenge, and hatred cause unfaithfulness. One will not be fervent in spirit, but leave the service and ministry to God. Consequently, he loses the full right to enter the heavenly kingdom and gets the fire of judgment.
- Holy Spirit helps us worship God.
Romans 8:26-28
8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
We can worship God with the groanings which cannot be uttered or our broken heart and the tongues, as the Spirit gives us utterance.
Acts 2:4
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
As a result, God works to make all things good, successful, and beautiful. All things are finished in time of need.
We are sanctified and changed. It begins from our tongue that speaks honestly and correctly, testifies, and worships God.
James 3:2
3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
It continues until we do not stumble in word, but become as perfect as Jesus is. We only worship God and say "Alleluia" to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
