Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
There are two kinds of activity on the throne of the heavenly kingdom which are written in Revelation 4:8-11 as follows.
- The activity of sanctification.
Revelation 4:8
4:8 The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"
We must experience the sanctification to our body, soul, and spirit or whole life like the four living creatures on the throne of the heavenly kingdom if we want to have the atmosphere like that. We must be as holy as Jesus.
Every activity in the church must aim at the sanctification as follows.
- Activity for prosperity, namely giving to and visiting others.
- Activity for general ministry.
- Administration.
- Priesthood or the service and ministry to God.
- The activity of worship.
Revelation 4:9-11
4:9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
4:10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
4:11 "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created."
The praise and thanksgiving from the four living creatures are continued in the worship of the twenty four elders on the throne of the heavenly kingdom. 24 = 2 x 12.
In the Old Testament, the journey of Israel to Canaan was signified by the two times of figure twelve as follows.
- In the beginning of the journey, they found twelve wells of water in Elim.
Exodus 15:27
15:27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of waterand seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters.
- In the end of the journey, there were twelve stones from the twelve tribes of Israel.
Joshua 3:12
3:12 "Now therefore, take for yourselves twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one man from every tribe.
Joshua 4:1-3
4:1 And it came to pass, when all the people had completely crossed over the Jordan, that the LORD spoke to Joshua, saying:
4:2 "Take for yourselves twelve men from the people, one man from every tribe,
4:3 "and command them, saying, 'Take for yourselves twelve stonesfrom here, out of the midst of the Jordan, from the place where the priests' feet stood firm. You shall carry them over with you and leave them in the lodging place where you lodge tonight.' "
In the New Testament, the journey of the Church to the New Jerusalem or the throne of the heavenly kingdom is also signified by the two times of figure twelve as follows.
- Twelve apostles of the early rain [Mark 3:13-19] get the apostles doctrine or the true teaching like the well of water that makes fresh and holy.
- A garland of twelve stars.
Revelation 12:1
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
It refers to the twelve apostles of the latter rain who are filled up by Holy Spirit to lead the Church to the perfection to enter the New Jerusalem.
The teaching Word and the anointing of Holy Spirit are the same as the two wings of a great eagle which bring the Church to the mountain of worship. It is not easy to go there. Only the people who have the true teaching Word and the anointing of Holy Spirit are able to go up to the mountain of worship up to the one of the New Jerusalem.
Job 39:27-2839:27 Does the eagle mount up at your command, And make its nest on high?
39:28 On the rocks it dwells and resides, On the crag of the rock and the stronghold. It is not easy to go up to the mountain of worship. Many sons or servants of God do not want to worship Him. Nevertheless, the enemies cannot easily go there also. Therefore, we are saved on the mountain of worship.
The signs of the true worship are as follows.
- Saying 'Alleluia'.
Revelation 19:4
19:4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!"
- We confess that only God is worthy to be glorified, exalted, and worshiped.
Revelation 4:11a
4:11 "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power;...
We are not worthy at all with many weaknesses.
- We confess that only God is able to create all things; even the things that have not existed yet can be created and the impossible things can be made possible.
Revelation 4:11b
4:11 ... For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created."
We are not worthy at all. Our life only relies on God.
- We humble ourselves as low as possible without relying on or being proud of anything.
Revelation 4:10
4:10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crownsbefore the throne, saying:
We are not precious. We are not worthy at all. Only God as the Head has the full right of our life.
The true worship prayer is the process to tear the flesh, so we can humble ourselves as low as possible before God, the Creator. We confess that we are not worthy or able or precious. We confess that we are nothing, so our life fully belongs to God.
1 Corinthians 7:47:4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.Physically, a wife who does the duty becomes the right of the husband and he belongs to her, and vice versa. Do not insist the right, but do the duty.
Spiritually, Jesus has done all of His duties, so we belong to Him. If we do our duty, God will be our right. Thus, the true worship means that we submit our life as the bride to Jesus, the Heavenly Bridegroom and He becomes our Head.
Ephesians 5:295:29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishesit, just as the Lord does the church. As a result, we will experience the ministry of Jesus as the Heavenly Bridegroom who nourishes and cherishes us. It means as follows.
- To feed us.
Ezekiel 16:13
16:13 "Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. You ate pastry of fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly beautiful, and succeeded to royalty.
Spiritually, the fine flour and oil refer to the true teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit to make us full, namely we are satisfied and able to give thanks to God. In such condition, our face can be cheerful and we can grow to reach the spiritual maturity. One of the signs of having the spiritual maturity or trained five senses is being silent more to do the introspection in our life.
The honey gives us power so that we do not stumble, but keep on following God until the end and we become His perfect bride.
Physically, there is the guarantee of the preservation of God in the midst of difficulties in the world.
- To protect us carefully like the apple of His eye.
Deuteronomy 32:9-10
32:9 For the LORD's portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance.
32:10 "He found him in a desert land And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye.
Jeremiah 2:2
2:2 "Go and cry in the hearing of Jerusalem, saying, 'Thus says the LORD: "I remember you, The kindness of your youth, The love of your betrothal, When you went after Me in the wilderness, In a land not sown.
God allows us to experience the difficulties of life in the world so that we always remember the first love. He always protects us like the apple of His eye.
Ephesians 4:8-12
4:8 Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men."
4:9 (Now this, "He ascended" --what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
4:10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
As for God, Jesus must die on the cross to set us free from the captivity of sin, justify, sanctify, and equip us with the ministry and gifts of Holy Spirit. We are appointed as the priest and king or the apple of God's eye.
As for us, we must serve and minister to God according to the ministry He has entrusted to us with faithfulness and fervency until the end line.
Zechariah 2:6-8
2:6 "Up, up! Flee from the land of the north," says the LORD; "for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven," says the LORD.
2:7 "Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon."
2:8 For thus says the LORD of hosts: "He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.
We must flee from Babylon, namely the sins up to the peak or the sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse as well as the ones concerning marrying-being given in marriage such as sexuality sin with all of its kinds and the wrong marriage. As a result, we can live in holiness. The holy, faithful, and fervent will be the same as the apple of God's eye.
Deuteronomy 32:9-11
32:9 For the LORD's portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance.
32:10 "He found him in a desert land And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye.
32:11 As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, Spreading out its wings, taking them up, Carrying them on its wings,
In continues until we are evacuated by the two wings of a great eagle to go to the wilderness, far away from the presence of the antichrist. We are protected and preserved directly by God through the true teaching Word and Holy Communion.
- To make us warm by the love.
Isaiah 46:4
46:4 Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
The hands of God's love embrace us who are like a powerless baby.
God is responsible for our life to determine all things. Our life and death are in His hand.
He willingly bears all of our weariness, heavy burdens, bitterness in life, fear, and worry. We can be peaceful and all things will be easy and light.
The hands of God's grace save, sanctify, and change us to be perfect. It begins from honesty and believing in God. We become the house of prayer. Our prayer is answered by God. The things which have not existed yet can be created. Impossible things become possible. It continues until we are perfect and worthy to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds and enter the throne of the heavenly kingdom.
God blesses you.
