The theme is in
Revelation 21:5:
"
I make all things new"
Revelation 21:5
21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
Actually, in the book of Genesis or the beginning of creation, God had created heaven and earth with the content including men to be as glorious as Him in garden Eden. All things had been good and in joy in the beginning. Unfortunately, men were deceived by the serpent. They fell in sin and lost the glory of God. They were naked and driven out to enter the world and live in the atmosphere of curse, weariness, suffering, sorrow, and tears.
Romans 3: 233:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
In the world, all men, including the servants and ministers of God keep on sinning up to the peak, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage until perishing forever.
The sins concerning eating-drinking refer to getting drunk, smoking, and drugs abuse.
The sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage refer to the ones of adultery such as sexual deviation, wrong marriage, divorce-remarrying, sexual affairs, mix marriage, and marrying-being given in marriage.
Consequently, men, including the servants and ministers of God, appear like dog and swine. Moreover, they appear like Satan because of rejecting the cross.
Matthew 16:21-2316:21. From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
16:22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"
16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."
The servant or minister of God who rejects the cross is the same as Satan. The way of God is the one of death, resurrection, and glory. Rejecting the way of death is the same as rejecting the glory. It means destruction and perdition like Satan, who will perish forever.
God does not want that the men He has created, especially His servants appear like dog, swine, and Satan in curse and perdition. Therefore, He creates the new heaven and earth as well as the new men who are as glorious as Him to dwell in the New Jerusalem, rejoice, and live eternally.
The process is said as the
RENEWAL.
In Revelation 21, there are four kinds of renewal as follows.
- Revelation 21:1= new heaven and earth.
- Revelation 21:2-3= new men.
- Revelation 21:4-8= new atmosphere.
- Revelation 21:9-27= New Jerusalem up to the eternality.
AD 3. NEW ATMOSPHERERevelation 21:4-821:4. "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
21:6 And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
21:7 "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
The renewal of the new atmosphere consists of five things as follows.
- Revelation 21:4= the atmosphere without the death or tears.
- Revelation 21:5-6= the atmosphere of satisfaction or joy of heaven
- Revelation 21:7= the atmosphere of victory.
- Revelation 21: 8= the atmosphere of righteousness, holiness, and perfection of God.
AD. 4. The atmosphere of righteousness, holiness, and perfectionRevelation 21:821:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."There are eight sins which directly drown the sons of God in the lake of fire and brimstone or the hell forever. The eight sins resist against the righteousness, holiness, and perfection.
The eight sins can be divided into these groups.
- 'cowardly, unbelieving'= resisting against the righteousness.
- 'abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters' = resisting against the holiness.
- 'liars'= resisting against the perfection. In James 3: 2 it is written that a man who does not stumble in words is perfect.
COWARDLYThe cowardly cannot live in the righteousness. They must resist against the righteousness.
Luke 12:4-512:4 "And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraidof those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
12:5 "But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!
There are two kinds of fear as follows.
- Who or what we must fear.
- Who or what we do not need to fear.
The cowardly are in the reversed condition as follows.
- They do not fear whom or what they should fear.
- They fear whom or what they should not fear.
Such people will enter the hell.
Only
the friends of Jesusunderstand or know to whom they must fear, namely to the Lord.
John 3:293:29 "He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.
Jesus is a physician. He is a shepherd and we are His sheep. Nevertheless, there is the lost sheep. He is the good Father and we are His sons. Nevertheless there is the lost son. Therefore, our knowing to Him must be increased until we know Him as the Head or Husband. We are His body or wife. The Head and the body cannot be separated forever.
Therefore,
the friends of Jesus refer to the friends of the Bridegroom.
John the Baptist is the friend of the Bridegroom.
The friend of the Bridegroom refers to the servant of God who rejoices and enjoys in hearing and obeying the voice of the Bridegroom, namely the Bride Tidings or the true teaching Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword.
There are two kinds of the preaching of the Word as follows.
- The Gospel Word or Good News to bring the sinful to believe in Jesus, repent, get the water baptism or the new life and salvation.
The Good News is important, but it must be increased until hearing the voice of the Bridegroom.
- The teaching Word or Bride Tidings.
John the Baptist heard and obeyed the Bride Tidings, so he knew whom he had to fear, namely the Lord, not king Herod who was false. God tells us to submit to the king, but not if his marriage is false. This is the power of the teaching Word that makes us understand whom we must fear and whom we do not need to fear.
Mark 6: 17-196:17For Herod himself had sent and laid hold of John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife; for he had married her.
6:18 For John had said to Herod, "It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife."
6:19 Therefore Herodias held it against him and wanted to kill him, but she could not;
John the baptist did not fear the king although he had to be chained and put in prison. He preached the Bride Tidings to rebuke King Herod who had taken the wife of his brother as his wife or had the false marriage, regardless of any risk he had to take. He did not fear although he had to be put in prison and killed. Nevertheless, he will be resurrected in the body of glory when Jesus comes a second time and become the bride of God forever.
Only the friend of the Bridegroom can be firm. Only the people who hear the Bride Tidings can be firm to fear the Lord, regardless of any risk he has to take.
The facts found in the fear of the Lord are as follows.
- Serving and ministering to God in sincerity and truth.
Joshua 24: 14-15
24:14. " Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD!
24:15 "And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
Unfaithfulness is the same as resisting against God.
Faithfulness or truth means that nothing can hinder us.
Sincerity means that we can distinguish the true God and the false one.
If we have the sincerity, we will be able to distinguish the true God and the false one, the true service to God and the false one, as well as the true worship and the false one so that we can choose the true God, service, and worship, not being forced.
Abel and Cain served to God, but not all offerings were received by God. Only the offering of Abel was received by God. Therefore, we must be faithful and sincere.
Thus, serving and ministering to God in sincerity and truth is the same as serving and ministering to Him in the true service and ministry faithfully until the end line, namely our physical death or Jesus' second coming.
God has fought for our service to Him twice as follows.
- In the Old Testament, God punished Egypt ten times for the service of the house of Israel.
- In the New Testament, Jesus was willingly punished until His death on the cross to fight for the service of the Gentiles. The Gentiles may serve to God through the blood of Jesus or God's mercy.
Therefore, we must also fight for the true service and ministry to God that may please Him like Joshua who did not fear the congregation because he feared God more.
'as for me and my house' means fighting for the whole members of the house so that all of them can faithfully serve and minister to God in the true service and ministry which can please Him until the end line.
A pastor struggles not only for all members of his house, but also for all members of the congregation in the shepherding, so they can be brought in the true service and ministry to God which can please Him.
When God uses us in the inter-shepherding fellowship service, we must fight so that the fellowship can reach the true and faithful service and ministry to God.
As a result, God fights to give the guarantee of life assurance from now on, the beautiful future life up to the eternal one.
1 Timothy 4:8-10
4:8 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
4:9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance.
4:10 For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.
The service to God has the promise for our life now and in the future. Therefore, we must fight more to serve and minister to God in sincerity and truth.
- Hating sins and lie.
Proverbs 8:13
8:13 The fear of the LORDis to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.
Sinning means resisting against God. Many times we fear the sin until we do not fear God. Fearing the sin is the same as fearing Satan.
Hating sin and lie is the same as living in righteousness and honesty.
Exodus 1:15-17
1:15 Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrahand the name of the other Puah;
1:16 and he said, "When you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live."
1:17 But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive.
'the king of Egypt'refers to Satan.
'midwives'helped the birth. Spiritualy, the midwives refer to the servants of God who help the renewal or new birth.
Shiphrah and Puah did not fear Pharaoh who had commanded to kill the male babies. They feared the Lord. Now, they refer to the servants of God who fear Him.
The requirements of the fear of the Lord are as follows.
- Puah means honesty. We say "yes" if "yes" and "no" if "no".
- Shiphrah means being lovely or nice to be looked. We become the example, especially the example of faith in the righteousness, true teachings, and righteous life.
Puah and Shiphrah held fast the true teaching Word, lived in righteousness, and feared the Lord, so they could choose not to kill the newborn babies.
The newborn babies cannot sin. They refer to the righteous. The righteous servants of God do not hate the righteous. They do not gossip or slander.
Killing, hating, slandering, and gossiping the righteous is the same as the death of a baby as follows.
- There is no life renewal. One keeps on being the man of flesh and blood. His body, soul, and spirit are the flesh and stamped with triple six by the antichrist. His life is the same as a woman who was bent over for eighteen years in the temple.
- For the full time servants of God, there is no increase in the quantity of the congregation, but decrease. Consequently, there is dryness in the congregation.
On the contrary, we will love one another; even we can love our enemy if we are honest and righteous like Puah and Shiphrah.
As a result, God makes all things good. The destroyed things can be made good.
Exodus 1:20
1:20. Therefore God dealt wellwith the midwives, and the people multiplied and grew very mighty.
God will also add the quantity of the members of the congregation or grow the ministry. Moreover, He provides the households. It means that we can enter the marriage supper of the Lamb when Jesus comes a second time. We experience the increasing joy until we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Exodus 1:21
1:21 And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.
- Holding fast to and obeying the true teaching Word until the flesh does not speak anymore, regardless of any risk we must take.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all.
The examples are as follows.
- For the servants of God.
Acts 5:27-29
5:27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them,
5:28 saying, "Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man's blood on us!"
5:29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather than men.
The council should have been exalted, but they forbade the true teachings. Therefore the disciples said "We ought to obey God rather than men", especially when the men were wrong.
Peter and John feared God more than men.
- Jesus was obedient to the point of death on the cross.
He must not have died because He was sinless, but He was obedient to the will of God.
Obedience is the same as stretching out our hands to God and He will also stretch out His hands to us. We live in His hands. He will protect and plead us. Satan cannot snatch us out from His hands. Moreover, we will be glorified with Him forever.
Isaiah 11:1-3
11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2 (1)The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, (2)The Spirit of wisdom and (3)understanding, (4)The Spirit of counsel and (5)might, (6)The Spirit of knowledge and of (7)the fear of the LORD.
11:3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
Breathing with the fear of the Lord means that we fear the Lord everytime we take a breath or step, or in every heart-beat. There are the evil and unclean spirits in the air. Therefore, we must have the spirit of the fear of the Lord.
One who fears the Lord is like a stem. Jesus was also like a stem when He died on the cross.
The stem means as follows.
- Something which is powerless or cannot do anything. Formerly, Jesus had made Lazarus rise, but then, He could do nothing when He was crucified.
- Something which is not precious. No one pays attention to it or there is no hope.
Nevertheless, such person has the nointing of Holy Spirit with the seven manifestations. The more we are pressed, the more Holy Spirit rules over our life. The more we are powerless, the more Holy Spirit rules over our life.
The results are as follows.
- Sprouting. It means that we are alive.
Holy Spirit is able to change the dead things into the living ones and the impossible things into the possible ones. It refers to the physical miracle.
- Blooming. It means beautiful thing. We get the gifts of Holy Spirit.
God uses us more in the ministry He has entrusted to us.
- Bearing fruits. It means the life renewal. It refers to the spiritual miracle.
Galatians 5: 22-23
5:22. But the fruit of the Spirit is (1)love, (2)joy, (3)peace, (4)longsuffering, (5)kindness, (6)goodness, (7)faithfulness,
5:23 (8)gentleness, (9)self-control. Against such there is no law.
It continues until the second coming of Jesus that we are changed to be as perfect as He is. We welcome His coming with shouting for joy "Alleluia"together with our brothers from the four corners of the world who fear the Lord. We do not fear His coming, but see Him face to face forever.
God blesses you.
