Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The whole Matthew 28 refers to shekinah glory or the light of glory.
There is resurrection and glory behind the death experience.
Matthew 28:1-10 is about the resurrection of Jesus. It means a renewal.
Jesus is born as human in blood and flesh but He rises in new body, namely the body of glory.
Matthew 28:1-2
28:1 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
28:2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.
The light of glory shines the dark hard heart until there is renewal from carnal man to spiritual one as Jesus is.
What must be renewed?
- Countenance or five senses.
- Clothing or deeds.
- Feeling that has fear.
- Sight.
Now we are learning the fourth part, namely
our sight must be renewed until we can seek Jesus who is crucified[Matthew 28:5]. It is written in Revelation that Jesus who is crucified is the Lamb of God who is slain.
1 Corinthians 1:22-24
1:22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;
1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,
1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
The cross is a stumbling block to the Jews and a foolishness to the Greeks but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God to save and perfect us.
Revelation 5:6-10
5:6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
5:7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
5:8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty–four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
There are two main duties of Jesus who is crucified or the Lamb of God that is slain as follows.
- [Revelation 5:9] To redeem us out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation.
Meaning as follows.
- To deliver us from sins up to the peak.
The Gentiles are same as dogs and sows falling and rising in sins or repeating sins up to the peak.
The dog refers to idle words such as lies, slanders, et cetera.
The sow refers to sinful deeds up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
Jesus who is crucified is able to deliver us from sins up to the peak, so we can be saved to live in righteousness.
- [Revelation 5:10] To lift us up as the priests and kings or the servants of righteousness.
A priest is one who bears the ministry with the gifts of Holy Spirit. He also serves and ministers to God.
Being saved, the Gentiles must minister to God, or else they return to become the dogs and sows.
- [Revelation 5:9] To take the scroll and open its seals.
Meaning Jesus who has been crucified has a duty to reveal the Word of God.
The Word of God which is revealed comes from God through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible. It is the true teaching Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword.
Revelation 5:5
5:5 But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."
Jesus who is crucified is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the only One who is able to reveal the Word of God.
All tears will be stopped when we have the revelation of God’s Word. Meaning there is way out of all problems because God can solve them and He removes all curses. All of our tears are wiped away by God and we rejoice together with Him.
We often cry because of something in the world but we must increase it, that we cry in order to get or understand the revelation of God’s Word.
We must start all things in the world with the revelation of God’s Word [John 1:1]. All things we do in the world must be in line with the Word, and there will the opened ways for us, even the heaven is opened for us.
Do not start anything in the world with money, sin, et cetera, because it will end and perish.
The revelation of God’s Word relates to the Lion of the tribe of Judah as follows.
- The revelation of God’s Word encourages the Gentiles to be shepherded to the true teaching Word as a donkey’s being bound to the choice vine. We can persevere in the sheepfold.
Genesis 49:10-11
49:10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.
49:11 Binding his donkey to the vine, And his donkey's colt to the choice vine, He washed his garments in wine, And his clothes in the blood of grapes.
Not being shepherded, the Gentiles will become wild donkey which is unclean and sadistic, especially in the evil saying. The wild donkey will be ridden by Balaam to be employed in the building of Babel to get curses and forever perdition.
- The revelation of God’s Word sanctifies our heart that is the store house of sins, up to our whole life is sanctified.
Hosea 5:13-14
5:13 "When Ephraim saw his sickness, And Judah saw his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria And sent to King Jareb; Yet he cannot cure you, Nor heal you of your wound.
5:14 For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, And like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them and go away; I will take them away, and no one shall rescue.
The wound or sin cancer refers to sins that bind and weaken the faith or make the spirituality of the sons or servants of God dry and dead.
There is no power in the world that can finish sin cancer but the Lion of the tribe of Judah that is able to tear and destroy them.
Mark 7:21-23
7:21 "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
7:22 "thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.
7:23 "All these evil things come from within and defile a man."
It begins from heart cancer, namely hard heart which is full of uncleanness and wickedness lusts. Such a heart will weaken the faith and kill the spirituality for sure, even it will bring perdition.
2 Timothy 2:16-17
2:16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
2:17 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort,
Afterwards, there is mouth cancer, namely idle words, lies, and words that weaken the faith of other people.
In addition, there is womb cancerlike in a woman with the flowing of blood for twelve years. It refers to the rottenness of sin or hidden sins until there is no life renewal. The flowing of flood means there is division. It refers to deeds that cause division in the body of Christ, so there is no life renewal but being stamped 666 by antichrist.
Romans 16:17
16:17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
The deed that causes division happens through receiving other teachings that are not same as the one we have received. We must avoid them, or else we will be deceived soon as Eve and Solomon.
Tonight, let us come to the Lion of the tribe of Judah or the revelation of God’s Word bringing us to be bound to the true teaching Word and sanctified. As a result, our life becomes as a branch dwelling in the True Vine. We will bear fruit soon or latter and our body, soul, and spirit are preserved by God.
Wandering like Esau, one will be weary for sure. On the contrary, Jacob is quiet in the tent and there is sweet fruit someday.
The donkey which is bound will also be ridden by Jesus to go to New Jerusalem. Meaning one is employed in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
The term 'be ridden' means uncomfortable condition for us. We must experience the sprinkling of blood, meaning the suffering in the flesh together with Jesus. All things must be sacrificed for the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain but the true teaching Word. As a result, there is the spirit of glory (shekinah glory) accompanying us in facing the sprinkling of blood.
The facts found in being employed in the building of the body of Christ are as follows.
- We bear witness with the power of the spirit of glory.
Matthew 28:6-8
28:6 "He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
28:7 "And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you."
28:8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.
We bear witness about these two things.
- The Good Tiding or the Gospelto preach about Jesus who has been crucified but He has risen to save the sinners. It is to add the quantity in the body of Christ.
- The Bride Tiding or the teaching Wordto preach about Jesus who has risen and ascended to heaven and He will come a second time in His glory as the King of kings and Heavenly Bridegroom to sanctify and perfect us. The teaching Word is to increase the quality in the body of Christ.
Bearing witness with the spirit of glory, we can bear witness faithfully with responsibility or fear and great joy.
- We can minister to God according to the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit we get from God with faithfulness, responsibility, and great joy.
The result of being ridden by God is as follows.
- We have beautiful paths in our future life.
Romans 10:15
10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!"
- We become a great army.
Psalm 68:11
68:11 The Lord gave the word; Great was the companyof those who proclaimed it:
Meaning as follows.
- We fight to be faithful and fervent in spirit in doing our service and ministry until the end.
- We fight to enter the oneness of the perfect body of Christ.
- We fight that we do not become the dry bones in our journey.
Ezekiel 37:2,10
37:2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.
37:10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
Proverbs 17:22
17:22 A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.
The dry bone means a broken spirit or hopelessness, disappointment, stumbling, unfaithfulness, and not being fervent in spirit in doing the service and ministry to God. It happens because there is no spirit of glory anymore.
The dry bone means dry spirituality because of keeping sins or false matters.
- The light of glory changes us little by little until we become as glorious as Jesus is. We become the woman with the light of sun, moon, and stars or the Bride of God[Revelation 12:1].
Song of Solomon 6:10
6:10 Who is she who looks forth as the morning, Fair as the moon, Clear as the sun, Awesome as an army with banners?
The sun, moon, and star are simple or sincere because of their obedience to follow the orbit. The beginning of the life renewal is obedience until our flesh does not speak anymore.
The obedience is beautiful and there will be no destruction. We only need to wait for the time.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
3:11He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
We only need to be obedient and all things will become beautiful until the most beautiful one we get on glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time.
Revelation 19:6
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
God blesses you.
