Matthew 26:47-56 is about "Jesus' arrest" in Gethsemane.

Matthew 26:47-50
26:47 And while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people.
26:48 Now His betrayer had given them a sign, saying, "Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him."
26:49 Immediately he went up to Jesus and said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed Him.
26:50 But Jesus said to him, "Friend, why have you come?" Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took Him.

In Gethsemane, Jesus experienced sufferings in the flesh without any sin until He was arrested by a great multitude whose leader was Judas Iscariot. At the last days, the Church of the Lord or His followers will also suffer in the flesh without any sin, in the form of suffering because of serving and ministering God, because of righteousness, because of being slandered, et cetera.
All of them cannot be settled by anything in the world such as intelligence, riches, good position, et cetera, but only with watching and praying, as well as the spiritual revival or shepherding.

Judas Iscariot made fellowship with the chief priests, whose teaching was clearly not in line with Jesus.
He did not want to pray wand watch, not being shepherded and not being sanctified by the true teaching Word.
Consequently, he kissed Jesus to betray Him, referring to hypocrisy.

Judas Iscariot became hypocritical because he kept sins in his entrails or heart as follows:
  1. Theft.
    John 12:5-6
12:5 "Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?"
12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.

He stole the possession of God. Now it refers to the theft to tithes and offerings.
A theft will make the temple of God a den of thieves, all matters are messy, there is no peace and one cannot pray. Seeing that the house of prayer is made the den of thieves, even the prayer is not answered by God.

  2. Betrayal, meaning as follows:
    • Unfaithfulness to God, to the true teaching Word.
Judas opened his ears for other teaching of the chief priests and the elders that was not in line with the teaching of the Lord. Consequently, he someday turned to the other teaching itself.

Eve formerly lived in paradise but she opened her ears for serpent, so she left the true teaching and was cursed.
Eutychus sat on the window, half to hear outside and half to hear inside the building. Consequently, he fell outside and died.
King Solomon was a great king but he left the true teaching soon after he heard strange voice from his wives.

    • Unfaithfulness in doing service and ministry.

  3. Liar.
    Matthew 26:23,25
26:23 He answered and said, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.
26:25 Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it."

Liar means one who says falsely and hides something, so his life is not righteous.
Consequently, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out, meaning his life was ashamed, sorrowful, and he perished forever.
Judas became as mortar pot which was broken and totally destroyed.

Matthew 26 refers to the golden pot that had manna, referring to perfect life that is endurable in facing all things.

Those who do not want to watch and pray or not to be shepherded and sanctified will surely become totally broken mortar pot or perish forever.

On the contrary, the sinful woman who anointed and kissed Jesus' feet was the one who had the spiritual revival. The life that seemed to be bad and degrading morally could kiss Jesus' feet solemnly without any hypocrisy. Judas seemed to be good but his heart was corrupt and full of hypocrisy.

Do not feel powerful in our own opinion these days!
We have to watch and pray to enter the spiritual revival until we can kiss Jesus solemnly.

Kissing Jesus solemnly means as follows:
  1. Kissing means making reconciliation as follows:
    • Confessing sins to God and other people solemnly, so the blood of Jesus actively covers our sins and pulls up the root.

      1 John 1:7-9
1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    • Forgiving the sins of other people and forget them.

  2. Loving God more than anything.
    The practice is as follows:
    • John 14:15
14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Being obedient to God until the flesh does not sound anymore.
It is as the obedience of Abraham, who was tested until offering Isaac.

    • Worshiping God.
Worship is the process of tearing flesh, so we have life renewal from mortar pot to golden pot, from the den of thieves to the house of prayer.
If we kiss Jesus solemnly, He will also kiss us, meaning as follows:
  1. Jesus will reconcile our sins with His blood or save us.
    Luke 7:37-38,50
7:37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil,
7:38 and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.
7:50 Then He said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you. Go in peace."

Living in righteousness equals to being saved.
The woman was a sinner but Jesus said "Go in peace."

  2. Jesus loves and pleads us, so we are not accused anymore and we cannot accuse any other people.
The salvation is questioned if someone still often accuses other people.

  3. Jesus gives us heavenly joy nothing in the world can influence.
    Song of Solomon 1:2
1:2 THE SHULAMITE Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth--For your love is better than wine.

  4. Jesus anoints us with the oil of Holy Spirit; He trusts us with His name.
    Song of Solomon 1:3
1:3 Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your name is ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you.

    Revelation 14:1
14:1 Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads.

The name of Jesus is written on our forehead.

    Exodus 28:36
28:36 " You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet: HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

The one who has the name of Jesus on his forehead will live in holiness and he always puts the persona of Jesus on his mind or thought, especially about His second coming.
If we remember Jesus, He will also remember, take care, and fight for the holy people who always remember Him.

The result of being remembered by Jesus is as follows:
    1. Isaiah 49:14-15
49:14 But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me."
49:15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.

He always remembers, takes care, and fights for us, who are as babies in the midst of the desert of the world as follows:
      • The merciful hand of God always gives us the guarantee of assurance of our life in the midst of difficulties and impossibilities.
      • The merciful hand of God gives us the guarantee of assurance to lead us to beautiful and joyful future life up to New Jerusalem, the last shepherding.

    2. Psalm 103:8-14
103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
103:9 He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.
103:10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
      103:11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
103:12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
103:13 As a father pities his children, So the LORD pities those who fear Him.
103:14 For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.

The Lord remembers, takes care, and fights for us, who are only as clay.
How great a servant of God or a son of God is, he is only clay that may fall in sin. For example, King David was great but he could sin.

When we fall in sin, we must fear the Lord by not dwelling in the sin but confessing and leaving it.

As a result, the hand of God' mercy and kindness will cover us from the judgment of sin because we have left it.
The term "cover" means God has born all matters on the cross.

Moreover, the hand of God's mercy is able to reform the broken pot to become the vessel of God's glory, the one whom God employs to glorify His name. The hand of God's glory will be able to create all things to become good.

    3. 1 Chronicles 28:20
28:20 And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God--my God--will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

The Lord remembers, takes care, and fights for the one He employs in the ministry of building Christ's perfect body.

We may have many limitations as the young King Solomon, but the Lord takes care of and fights for the one He employs in the ministry of building Christ's body. The ministry of building Christ's body begins from household.

The important thing is being strong and of good courage as follows:
      • Not being hopeless or disappointed,
      • We keep being faithful and fervent in spirit,
      • We keep holding fast the true teaching Word,
      • We only hope and fully entrust ourselves to God.

As a result, God will take care of our life until the end, meaning as follows:
      • Physically, all problems and hindrances are settled in His time.
      • Spiritually, God sanctifies and renews our life until we become perfect as He is, we can enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, the kingdom of peace a thousand years, up to New Jerusalem, where the name of the Lord is written on our forehead forever.

        Revelation 22:3-4
22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

God blesses you.
