Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21 refers to the shekinah glory.
Revelation 21 can be divided into two parts as follows:
- Revelation 21:1-8, namely the new heaven and earth. Its inhabitants are the new men in the new atmosphere and without sin.
- Revelation 21:9-27 until Revelation 22:1-5, namely the New Jerusalem.
The New Jerusalem is the last destination of our following and ministry to God.
Entering the New Jerusalem means as follows:
- We must enter the fellowship of one perfect body of Christ, namely the heavenly bride.
Revelation 21:9
21:9. Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife."
- Experiencing the fellowship with Christ as the Head or the Heavenly Bridegroom.
The fellowship between Jesus the Heavenly Bridegroom and the heavenly bride will happen when Jesus comes a second time. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, Paradise, and the New Jerusalem.
Be watchful!
There are the ministries that do not aim at Jesus as the Head as follows:
- The worship of Law system as follows:
Colossians 2:16-17
2:16. So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,
2:17. which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.
- The worship that holds to the Law systemwhich is a shadow, so it cannot reach the substance of God, namely Jesus who has fulfilled the Law.
The example is holding to the Sabbath or the seventh day or the rest physically. Actually, the Sabbath has been fulfilled by Jesus, namely the rest in Holy Spirit
- The worship that is without the freedom by Holy Spirit, especially unable to hear the true teaching Word freely.
Galatians 5:18
5:18. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
The Word is limited by time, its content, et cetera.
Matthew 8:18-20
8:18. And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side.
8:19. Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go."
8:20. And Jesus said to him, "Foxeshave holes and birdsof the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."
Consequently, one is controlled by foxes and birds, namely the wicked and unclean spirit that aims at the building of Babylon or the false church.
Revelation 18:2
18:2. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!
- Being in worship of angels, intruding into those things which are not in line with the Bible.
Colossians 2:18-19
2:18. Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
2:19. and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
Consequently, one becomes arrogant and feels that he is great. If our ministry is based on the true teaching Word, we will humble ourselves.
The angel means as follows:
- One who wants to be worshipped. His ministry is just for the worldly interest.
- The spirit of the flesh or the world that misleads the church of God.
Those worships cannot bring men to the New Jerusalem, but the hell, so they are destroyed forever.
Genesis 19:12-1519:12. Then the men said to Lot, "Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city -- take them out of this place!
19:13. "For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it.
19:14. So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, "Get up, get out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city!" But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.
19:15. When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, "Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city."The true angel refers to the true shepherd who teaches the true teaching Word as well as works for the salvation or oneness of his family, so they are saved in the midst of the destructions in marriage and children.
But there are many sons-in-law who become the problem because of mocking the advice of the true teaching Word. They underestimate the marriage. It means not honoring the marriage or family.
Genesis 19:15-1719:15. When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, "Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city."
19:16. And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife's hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.
19:17. So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, "Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed."Lot and his family were ordered to keep running. They might not look behind nor stay anywhere in the plain until they arrived at the mountains, namely the New Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:10 21:10. And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,2 Peter 2:6-102:6. and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrahinto ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;
2:7. and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked
2:8. (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds) -
2:9. then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,
2:10. and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,2 Peter 3:1-73:1. Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder),
3:2. that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior,
3:3. knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,
3:4. and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation."
3:5. For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,
3:6. by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.
3:7. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.Sodom and Gomorrah prophesied the things on the last days as follows:
- The ungodly men will come, namely those who commit sins up to the peak.
- The destruction in marriage and children.
- God's punishment up to doomsday and perdition in the hell.
That is why, now we must make effort earnestly to be set free from God's punishment, so we can reach the last destination, namely the New Jerusalem.
We must pay attention to the two things as follows:
- We must use God's longsuffering.
2 Peter 3:9
3:9. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsufferingtoward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Genesis 19:18-23
19:18. Then Lot said to them, "Please, no, my lords!
19:19. "Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die.
19:20. "See now, this city is nearenough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live."
19:21. And he said to him, "See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken.
19:22. "Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there." Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
19:23. The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar.
God has not come for the second time yet and we still get the lengthening of our life, so we must use these times to repent.
Previously, Lot chose Zoar because he could not escape to the mountains. Zoar was the little city and near to flee to. It refers to the Altar of Burnt Offering, namely Christ's cross[1 Corinthians 1:18]. The cross is the place to confess all of our weaknesses, infirmities, and sins, so we are forgiven by Jesus' blood. We are illuminated by God's love which is like the sun. We do not sin anymore but repent and live in righteousness.
As a result, we are saved and blessed by God. [verse 21] We experience peace in the midst of the shocks of the world.
No matter how great we are, if we do not repent, our life will be in vain up to perdition.
God really supports the sinners who look for the salvation.
Be watchful! We have already been saved. Do not look behind like Lot's wife! Do not become disobedient!
Genesis 19:17
19:17. So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, "Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed."
Do not become disobedient! Do not mock the Word! Do not be bound by the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah!
- We must wait for Jesus' second coming.
2 Peter 3:10-14
3:10. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
3:11. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
3:12. looking forand hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
3:13. Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look fornew heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
3:14. Therefore, beloved, looking forwardto these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;
'look for' are written three times. It means as follows:
- The time is very short. We are reminded over and over again.
- We must prepare our body, soul, and spirit earnestly to wait on Jesus' second coming.
The facts are as follows:
- [verse 11-12] Living in holy conduct and godliness. It means that we are in the Holy Place or the shepherding, namely the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God like a branch that abides in the true vine. As a result, we experience the purification of body, soul, and spirit continuously. We are purified from the six sins that are ingrained in our life.
1 Corinthians 5:11
5:11. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner--not even to eat with such a person.
The sins which bind our body are sexually immoral and drunkard.
The sins which bind our soul are covetous, reviler, and extortioner.
The sin which binds our soul is idolater.
So, we live in holiness. We will bear the sweet fruits sooner or later. We are blessed by God like Job.
Job 1:1-3
1:1. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil
1:2. And seven sons and three daughters were born to him.
1:3. Also, his possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very large household, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the East.
We can enter the true fellowship, starting from marriage, shepherding, and inter-shepherding that is based on the true teaching Word
Genesis 19:30-33
19:30. Then Lot went up out of Zoar and dwelt in the mountains, and his two daughters were with him; for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar. And he and his two daughters dwelt in a cave.
19:31. Now the firstborn said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is no man on the earth to come in to us as is the custom of all the earth.
19:32. "Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father."
19:33. So they made their father drink wine that night. And the firstborn went in and lay with her father, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.
Do not go out of Zoar and dwell in the mountains after being blessed like Lot! The mountains refer to the self-truth. Consequently, the destruction in marriage and children will happen.
- [verse 13] Experiencing the renewal of lifefrom the fleshly men to the spiritual ones, namely we are righteous, just as Jesus is righteous
1 John 3:7,9
3:7. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
3:9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
It means as follows:
- Holding fast to the true teaching Word, so we are not deceived by the false teachings and gossips.
- Not sinning anymore, but repenting and living in righteousness until we cannot sin anymore. We are righteous, just as Jesus is righteous.
- [verse 14] We must experience the ministry of reconciliation of Jesus, the High Priest.
Jesus as the High Priest enters the New Jerusalem by bringing the things as follows:
- His own blood. Now, we experience the sprinkling of blood or suffering in the flesh to experience the last purification from the self-truth.
The self-truth means covering sin by blaming at others or pretending to do good things.
Job 32:1-2
32:1. So these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
32:2. Then the wrath of Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was aroused against Job; his wrath was aroused because he justified himself rather than God.
The self-truth is purified to become God's truth, namely we can confess and forgive one another, so the blood of Jesus washes our sins.
- The incense, namely the intercession prayer.
Jesus lifts up the intercession prayer for us and so does the shepherd in the world.
1 Peter 4:7
4:7. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
The congregation can worship God or stretch out the hand to God, so He stretches out His merciful hand to us.
2 Corinthians 4:1
4:1. Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart.
As a result, we become strong and of good courage. We do not get disappointed and desperate as well as leave God in facing anything. We keep ministering to God faithfully and fervently.
Joshua 1:7
1:7. "Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
We receive the great gain, namely the two wings of a great eagle to evacuate us to the wilderness, far from the eyes of the Antichrist who reigns over the world for three and a half years.
Hebrews 2:17-18
2:17. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
2:18. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
Hebrews 4:15-16
4:15. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
4:16. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
The hand of God bears our weaknesses, so we experience peace. All things become easy and light.
The hand of God is able to finish all of impossible problems in time of need.
[Ecclesiastes 3:11] God makes everything beautiful in its time.
1 Peter 5:6
5:6. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
The hand of God exalts us in due time. It means that He purifies and changes us up to perfection.
God blesses us.
