Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:11-15is about
the lie of the council or the spread of the darkness. While God is shining the Shekinah glory, there is also the one spreading the darkness. We must be careful of it.
Matthew 28:11-1528:11 Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened.28:12 When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers.28:13 Saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’28:14 “And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will appease him and make you secure.”28:15 So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.The spread of the darkness is the spread of false testimony or false teaching that rejects the resurrection of Jesus. The soldiers have seen Jesus that already rises, but because they consult together and receive the money, they are spreading the false teaching. The result is as follows:
- Many of Israelites the chosen people do not believe in Jesus until this day.
- The servant of God and the son of God keep sinning up to the peak of sins (that is sin concerning eating, drinking as well as marrying and being given in marriage) that leads to perdition.
1 Corinthians 15:3215:32 If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”The spread of the darkness or false teaching is encouraged by the two great powers as follows:
- The power of money or mammon or spirit of selling-buying or antichrist.
- The power of lying spirit.
The spread of the darkness or false teaching is also encouraged by
the huge power from insidethat is
the power of flesh. The power of flesh is
egoism (thinking only about oneself), thus one never experiences tribulation of flesh with Jesus, therefore he sacrifices others and becomes the spreader of the darkness.
Matthew 16:21-2316:21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.16:22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”16:23 But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”Peter is the great senior servant of God, but he also has egoism and refuses the cross of Jesus. Consequently, he becomes become the stumbling stone, the spreader of the darkness, and even becomes like devil or Satan.
John 8:448:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murdererfrom the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liarand the father of it.Devil or Satan is a liar and murderer. We has discussed about the liar,
now we will discuss about the murderer. The servant of God that
refuses the crosslike Peter is similar to the murderer.
The servant of God or the son of God that becomes the murdererfrom era to era is as follows:
- The era of God the Father, which is counted from Adam up to Abraham, is represented by Cain.
Genesis 4:3-8
4:3 And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD.
4:4 Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering,
4:5 But He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.
4:6 So the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?
4:7 “If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”
4:8 Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up againstAbel his brother and killedhim.
Cain kills Abel, his brother. The cause is as follows:
- Being very angry, which is similar to jealousy.
This is because God respects the ministry of Abel and blesses him. In the other hand, God does not respect the ministry of Cain. Cain should check himself and leave the things that are wrong, so his ministry will be accepted and blessed by God.
- Hitting and killing, which are similar to contention.
If there is contention because of sin, the way out is to reconcile, confess and forgive each other. Starting in marriage, there is no more jealousy and contention.
The contention also happens because of the difference of teaching. The way out is to return to the Bible.
1 Corinthians 3:3-4
3:3 For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
3:4 For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal?
The signs of servant of God that still has the nature of the flesh are the jealousy and contention.
2 Corinthians 12:20
12:20 For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such I wish, and that I shall be found by you such as you do not wish; lest there be contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults;
If we keep the jealousy and contention, there will be wrath, selfish ambition, backbiting, whispering, conceit and tumult. There will be also the groups that will hit and kill the body of Christ.
Hebrew 4:12-13
4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
The true teaching Word is sharper than any two-edge sword for cutting the flesh nature of the jealousy and contention and for sanctifying heart and mind. Furthermore, it sanctifies joints, which are relation of each otherso we can have one heart, one mind, and be able to work with another, to enter in the building of the body of Christ.
- The era of the Son of God, which is counted from Abraham up to the first Jesus’ coming, is represented by Simeon and Levi.
Genesis 34:7,25
34:7 And the sons of Jacob came in from the field when they heard it; and the men grieved and very angry, because he had done a disgraceful thing in Israel by lying with Jacob’s daughter, a thing which ought not to be done.
34:25 Now it came to pass on the third day, when they were in pain, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brothers, each took his sword and came boldly upon the city and killed all the males.
Dinah often leaves the tent, and then the result is being raped. The lesson for us is, do not leave the shepherding to look outside, for the consequence is perdition.
The cause of Simeon and Levi’s killing is hurt of heart and outburst of emotion. Simeon and Levi are the servants of God, but they have killed.
The murder that Simeon and Levi has done is using the sword. The sword refers to the Word that should be used for purifying the heart, thought and joints.
Two mistakes in using the sword of the true teaching Wordthat is sharper than two-edge sword are as follows:
- The mistake of the shepherd that uses the sword for cutting off the ear.
Mark 14:47
14:47 And one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
It means conveying the Word with grief and emotion, thus the congregation’s ear is cut or they do not want to listen the true teaching Word. The result is spiritual death.
- The mistake of congregation that receives the true teaching Word that points the sins with grief. It happens because the congregation keeps on sinning.
Acts 5:29-33
5:29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.
5:30 “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on tree.
5:31 “Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
5:32 “And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
5:33 When they heard this, they were furious and plotted to kill them.
We are supposed to thank if the Word points to our sin. If we keep on sinning, the result will be spiritual death.
2 Chronicles 36:15-16
36:15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.
36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy.
It is the mercy of God when the Word is repetitively conveyed. Refusing it, there is no more chance to repent.
If the servant of God is using the sword of Word correctly and the congregation is receiving the sword of God correctly too, we will be sanctified continually.
- Purifying the heart as the source of sin.
Matthew 5:27-28
5:27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.
5:28 “But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Matthew 15:19
15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
If our heart has been purified, our whole life will also be purified.
- Purifying the sight, thus the sight is only on Jesus as the High Priest that sits at right side of throne of Father God.
Matthew 5:29
5:29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast itfrom you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
If the sight is only on Jesus, we never get stumble.
- Purifying the right hand, which is similar to the purifying of the deed of sins, to become right and good deed that pleases Jesus as the High Priest.
Matthew 5:30
5:30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast itfrom you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
- Purifying the nature of sin, which is self truth.
Matthew 5:31-32
5:31 “Furthermore it has been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’
5:32 But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.
The self truth is covering the sin by blaming others. This is the source of separation in household.
Matthew 5:31-32 also points to the purifying of marriage, starting in the beginning of marriage, the journey of marriage, until the end of marriage, so we can enter the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
- Purifying the mouth, so we can be honest in teaching, also in marriage and finance.
Matthew 5:33,37
5:33 “Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.’
5:37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
If we are honest, God is holding our lives. If we are dishonest, Satan is holding our lives.
James 3:2
3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he isa perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
We are being purified until we do not stumble in word. We can enter the perfect body of the Christ.
- The era of God the Holy Spirit, which is counted from the first Jesus’ coming up to the second Jesus’ coming, is represented by the brothers of Joseph that killed Joseph.
Genesis 37:2-4,18
37:2 This isthe history of Jacob. Joseph, beingseventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. And the lad waswith the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives; and Joseph brought a bad report of them to his father.
37:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he wasthe son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of manycolors.
37:4 But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him.
37:18 Now when they saw him afar off, even before he came near them, they conspired against him to kill him.
The brothers of Joseph are also feeding the flock. They refer to the servants of God, but because they conspire without the true teaching Word, then they kill Joseph.
Jacob refers to an image of God the Holy Spirit. Joseph is born in the old age of Jacob, thus Joseph is an image of the church in the last days or the Church of Bride.
The characteristic of the Church of Bride is being shepherded, like a branch that sticks at the true vine. We are shepherded in the true teaching Word and persevering in shepherding pen.
Perseverance in shepherding pen is the perseverancein committing three main services, as follows:
- Golden Candlestick, referring to the perseverance in doing General Serviceas we are drinking.
- Table of Showbread, referring to the perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communionas we are eating.
- Golden Altar of Incense, referring to the perseverance in doing Prayer Serviceas we are breathing.
The brothers of Joseph are not shepherded in the true teaching Word and they conspire using the voice of flesh, thus they become murderers.
The problems must be solved with the revelation of the Word, whatever the risk.
The cause of the brothers of Joseph’s killing Joseph is hatred without reason. It happens because of the two things that Joseph had as follows:
- Joseph had a tunic of many colors, meaning the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit.
Genesis 37:3-4
37:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he wasthe son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of manycolors.
37:4 But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to beapostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
Only the one that is being shepherded in the true teaching Word and willing to be purified that is equipped with the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spiritto be employed in the ministry of the building of the body of Christ.
- Joseph had dream, meaning the revelation of the Word.
Genesis 37:5-9
37:5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told itto his brothers; and they hated him even more.
37:6 So he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed:
37:7 There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”
37:8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.
37:9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”
There are two kinds of dream as follows:
- Binding the sheaves to turn into one, that is same as the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain, the revival of the building of the body of Christ.
The strongest binding to make us stand upright at the building of the body of Christ is because of the revelation of the true teaching Word.
Starting from marriage must be fastened by the true teaching Word. If it is bound by another thing, someday there will be boredom and weariness. Moreover, shepherding and fellowship must be fastened by the true teaching Word.
- Dream about the sun, the moon and the stars.
Revelation 12:1
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
This refers to the Bride of God, the perfect body of Christ.
Thus, if we serve with the true teaching Word and the ministry and the gifts from God, we will attain the perfect body of Christ.
If the one onlyhas a tunic of many colors, but does not have the true teaching Word, the consequence is as follows:
- The tunic of many colors can be traded; ministry can be traded to find the profit.
- Going ahead to the building of Babylon; the Bride of Satan that will perish.
Revelation 17:4-5
17:4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
17:5 And on her forehead a name waswritten:
MYSTERY, BABYLONTHE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS
OF THE EARTH.
Genesis 37:31-3337:31 So they took Joseph’s tunic, killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the tunic in the blood.37:32 Then they sent the tunic of manycolors, and they brought itto their father and said, “We have found this. Do you know whether it isyour son’s tunic or not?”37:33 And he recognized it and said, “It ismy son’s tunic. A wild beast has devoured him. Without doubt Joseph is torn to pieces.” Facing hatred and murder, Joseph must be willing that his robe is dipped in blood.
It means
the robe of ministry must be dipped in the blood of the Son of the Lamb of God willingly. In addition, we must be as well as willing to experience the tribulation of flesh or the experience of death with Jesus.
In the experience of death, the blood that is poured is Jesus’ blood, meaning Jesus has already born our suffering. We should not be afraid facing the experience of death.
Mark 15:1015:10 For he knew that the chief priests had handed Him over because of envy.In the experience of death, we are
receiving two powersfrom God as follows:
- The power of Jesus’ blood or the sacrifice of Christ to defeat Satan.
Satan is the source of sins. If Satan has been defeated, we can live in righteousness and holiness.
- The power of Holy Spirit.
Genesis 37:35
37:35 And all his sons and all his daughters arose to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted, and he said, “For I shall go down into the grave to my son in mourning.”Thus his father wept for him.
In the experience of death, we get the Holy Spirit (Jacob goes down to the grave). The result is as follows:
- Holy Spirit is pouring the love of God,so we are not disappointed, not desperate, not leaving God and the ministry. We keep on being faithful and fervent in ministry until the end of line.
Romans 5:3-5
5:3 And not only that,but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
5:4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5:5Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Holy Spirit is very grieved if Satan releases the beautiful robe. If we make the Holy Spirit grieved, our life will never be beautiful.
- The Spirit of glory has been poured to make us rejoice in suffering.
1 Peter 4:12-14
4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you,for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
The Spirit of glory brings the glory for us, that is the renewal of life, starting from being obedient and crying out “Abba, Father”. The physical miracle will happen, to create something that does not exist yet, from impossible to become possible and all the doors will open. Until the last miracle is we are renewed to become glorious as He is in His second coming. We are lifted up on glorious clouds and there is no more tears.
God blesses you.
